Re: A metal sardine
"Cool. Well, the name's Sicario. But Sik works too, dude." And that was it. Little did the droid know that was the closest secret he had. His actual name. But he was talking to a droid; it shouldn't matter, should it? The droid was just a droid, right?
It was obvious where his intentions were as he powered up the systems of the Supafighter, closing the ramp behind them with a sequence of pushing buttons and pulling levers. Suddenly, he stopped and called forth the AI of the ship. "Yo P, start us on way to the Outer Rim. Trying for Sojourn's primary, this time, aight?" The mechanical voice sounded through the inner speakers of the pilot hull, confirming his request. Sending power to the engines and other filaments within the ship, the vehicle began to liftoff, hovering before invisible grip held and maneuvered the wheel of the ship. They rose, and then began route to the upper atmosphere before exiting the gravity of the planet all together.
While PI55 was doing it's little flying-the-ship thing, Sik turned back to the droid. "So you're like, the first droid thing I've ever, eh...owned? Would you call it owned? I fell like that's some psycho crap. Bought sounds even worse. I'll just say 'got'. So do you need some kinda charger station or somethin'? Make yourself at home dude. This spot's a nice while away."

His name? That was the secret? If battle droids could blink, now would be a good time. This man was certainly something alright. Also, was that an ai? Omni wondered if it was even half as capable as him. He certainly hoped so.... he could use the company of a more computized kind. Taking a seat nearby, he responded to Siks question. "That will not be necessary. I am equipped with a fully self sustaining reactor. I prefer to think of it as you hired me." Omni was starting to have a good feeling about this guy, so he could say that much for now. Besides, the 'this unit' junk was beginning to get stale. He so hated playing the moron....

"'You prefer', eh?" he asked with a knowing smirk. He had a hunch, but it was just confirmed right then and there. Droid had more smarts than the typical trashcan. Basically he had a buddy, but not a basic tin can that would just follow him around and annoy the hell out of him. Dark brow bowered from the inquisitive look as his smirk spread into a smile, ivories gleaming with a bleached glean. "That's nice to know, bro." he chuckled.
Then the Rogue stood and made his way in the usual swagger to the underneath compartment of the holding locker. Almost like a metalic chest, it popped open after a series of whacks from a balled up fist. It was clear he had ravaged the lock originally, shiny sheet metal glittering from beneath the dull and fleck-painted exterior.
"Here," he started. Pulling out a few cards of mechanical accessories, one happened to be a wrist mounted flamethrower, an arm mountable lanvarok, a forearm-mounted gauntlet, forged of durasteel and sometimes plated with lightsaber-impervious cortosis alloy. It was a worn device similar in function to a blaster pistol. A thick, perforated and padded metal cuff around the base of the forearm supported the attached launcher mechanism, disc cartridge, and emitter. He had to choose between one or another when using them at once, but both were battle-capable. He had stolen them from some whack Apprentice of some lesser lord. Poor bastard hadn't had anything to do back to Sicario; he was in the Dark Lord's personal Apprentice's little militia. Psh, wish an idiot would. Treason gets extinguished quickly under this Lord Blood' guy. "A few things to start you out with. Guns come once we land, homie."
Which wasn't that far. They had alread crossed into Outter Rim territory; Sith ships that chose to show themselves were in the distance of space, massive vessels asnd smaller ones alike patrolling in a ceaseless circuit through the stars and orbits.

Omni moved to take the offered weapons, scanning them in a process. A wrist mounted flamethrower and disc launcher... fairly unconventional, but effective in close quarters. They would serve well on the sort of environment present in starships. He would simply have to avoid engaging battle in open terrain until he acquired a proper rifle. He noticed the distant ships through the window, magnified by his own optical processing functions. Turning back to his companion, he said "Thank you. I assume that is our destination? I am curious what you intend to do with me. My behavioral analysis of you clearly indicates your awareness that I am no ordinary droid. That is fine... I clued you in intentionally after all. However, no doubt it may alter your original plans. As I have nowhere else to go, I will continue to follow you... for now. Only for as long as it suits me. You keep me away from the overly curious, and I assist in any manner I deem reasonable. Agreed?" The droid stared intently, wondering what his companions response might be.

"Eh," the Rogue responded. "I mean, whether it changes my plans or not, you scratch my back and yours will still work, cuddy." As easily as it had begun his friendly demeanor threatened the droid. Sicario didn't have a problem with threats, nor acting on them. Being in the Sith and doing drugs did that kinda thing to you. Plus he wasn't about to take some terms from a damn droid, whether it was special or not. He may not have a receipt from that alien, but he could damn sure bring the thing back in pieces and claim 'he found it like this'.
That was why he made an ally in the square, instead of just robbing him.
"But as of right now, I should be the least of your worries. There's a dude in there," he said, pointing to one of the Naga Dreadnaughts. "that's gonna make you a badass. So I think it would be best if we stayed on some good terms. Especially is surviving is what 'suits you'."
And like that, the extraction was done. Clicking the holowatch he was assigned, the menu popped up, and on it, he clicked Warvanus' line. Once the connection was established, the Rogue spoke into the mic, a smirk on his face.
"Aye, I got one."
From that, he was immediately given the proximity to himself to land and dock on the Dreadnaught, where Warvanus would be waiting. "Yo you got the convo taped, Pee?" he asked up to the dashboard. The ship AI confirmed, and 'Tver' was sent the data file through his watch. "Cool." Turning to the Battle Droid, the snake shrugged. "[color=#a9a9a9Nothin' personal, bro. Business is business.[/color]" And from the pull of the gravity, the Supafighter eased it's way inside the hangar, found it's assigned landing pad, and docked. The air pressure began to stabilize, and standing, the Rogue made his way to the release doors.
"After you, cuz." he said with a sweep of his arms.
They would be exiting the ship into a shiny and well stocked hangar, other ships either docking, leaving, or getting maintenence done on them, upgrades and such being processed and practised into the ships. Workers swamed the area, dutifully doing their jobs lest their own taskmaster see then and punish them greatly.
Everyone worked hard,
For this was the ship of Warvanus, the chosen Apprentice of the current Dark Lord of the Sith.

Re: A metal sardine
Rigged ship bomb? No... the ai would pick it up. "I suppose I shall learn more from your employer. No need to worry... though I am certainly possessed of unique programming, I am still a droid, and cannot reasonably hold grudges." Exposure perhaps? But, how would he get the man into an airlock? Stepping down into the docking area, he turned back to the other, "Lead the way, by all means." Radiation poisoning? But how would he get the necessary components undetected? Watching his companion with a worn metal face that betrayed no emotion, Omni continued to plan the mans eventual demise. As for his employer.... Omni would have to meet them, then he'd just see.

Re: A metal sardine
Warvanus was aboard the newly refitted Dreadnaught, one he christened the Magentar
This would be his flagship, a symbol of someone in his position, a Sith Lord, the
Chosen apprentice of the Dark Lord himself. As was custom he toured his new ship,
Accompanied by Kinta Vetasa, KL-PK1 his protocol droid and the senior ranking officer
That would serve on this ship Vice Admiral Kopashyn. As the Admiral was in charge of
The re-fit anything the Sith Lord did not like would reflect on the newly risen Admiral.
The tour itself had lasted over an hour, and during that time the Sith Lord found no fault
In the work that had been done on his ship. They were now on the main bridge where officers
And crewmen were hard at work, preparing the ship for departure once the Sith Lord gave the
Green light. The Admiral indicated to a room off to the side of the bridge, it was an office
Of sorts reserved for the Commanding Officer, This was the Admiralβs. The party stepped through
The doors and when they shut Warvanus spoke.
βEverything here meets my approval which is what I am going to tell Lord Blood
, I am sure he will be pleased of my reportβ He stated, the Admiral visably relieved.
βThank you Mβlordβ he said with a slight bow
βExcuse me Masterβ came KL-PK1 βI just receieved a transmission from Tβverβ
Warvanus looked at his droid expectingly
βAnd?β came the impatient reply after what felt like a long silence.
βHe says he has oneβ He told him.
Warvanus understood, he had instructed Tβver to keep an eye out for possible recruits to add to
The ranks of his personal special forces unit code named The Dawn Patrol. He was intrigued but he
Still had matters to attend to with the ship. He looked at his new apprentice, the woman he had named
Kinta Vetasa who was once known as Widow and the Patrolβs former sniper.
Kinta Vetasa nodded he did not need to speak what he wished of her, she bowed βYes Masterβ he turned on her
Heel and began to leave Warvanus called out after her βBring KL-PK1 with youβ She had stopped when he called out
And bowed her head again in acknowledgement. Shortly after the pair were on their way to the airlock where they
Would receive their new recruit.
After they departed, Warvanus looked at the Admiral βHow soon can we be underwayβ
Admiral Kopashyn replied βAs soon as your guest is aboardβ he had said that with some pride
βGoodβ he told him, βMake it soβ with that he departed the Admiralβs office

Re: A metal sardine
Sik found it still humorous the droid's responses. Whether the thing was conscious or just funny, tickled a piece in the Rogue that he just found interesting. Grudges? Bahahaha
You didn't need a grudge to kill somebody; just enough ammunition to make sure you didn't miss. Or atleast a blade sharp enough to make a clean cut. And as easy as it was to end a life, a grudge was just a waste of time.
Hitting the release button of the doors, they slid open with a wobbly 'whoooosh' and a wheeze right after. The ram slid down to allow them off. The droid seemed to believe it was clearly making the rules...
Pulling out a Westar and clicking on the plasma activation, cobalt blue lined the exterior of the nozzle, the pistol blaster glowing in dangerous prettiness.
"Don't have me not ask, bro. Move it." The pistol was primed in his left, his right prepared to grab and snatch whatever cord blew the lights out of this droid. The barrel gestured to the ramp, giving the droid access to the outside world of the giant ship.
[ooc] That's it from me! You're now in War's care! Have at it, you two. [/ooc]

Omni sat in the docking area, still peeved at the utter humiliation he had just suffered. He'd have to remember to make sure that idiot suffers when he gets around to it. For now, however, he was stuck. Unsure what to do, he simply sat there, looking about as annoyed as a droid was capable of. He sincerely hoped he wouldn't have to deal with any other complete morons today....

Re: A metal sardine
It was not long before Kinta Vetasa and KL-PK1 arrived at the docking area, the crews were scarce , all that remained was a droid, she approached the droid, circling it as if assessing the droid. She did not know if this was βthe oneβ or not but it was on her Masterβs ship , and therefore it was his by right. She did not say anything to the droid. She glanced in KL-PK1s direction , he was standing a bit off distance. She gave the protocol droid a curious look.
Lord Warvanus walked into the docking area, he too approached the droid. He did not look puzzled, it was as if he knew what was going on. He stood in front of the droid.
βState your functions, status and designationβ he told the droid. Already in his mind he was formulating ideas and a use for this droid, was this one of a kind? It would have to be if the rogue knew what was good for him. If not then he would need to have words with the rogue.
He looked at his apprentice, and then to his protocol droid who seemed to be cowering. He narrowed his eyes at his protocol Droid. KL-PK1 picked up the look and walked over to his Master. Now he waited for Omni to comply with his query.
