For an indeterminable amount of time it felt as though Ambria held her breath while she waited for the Captain to take the pike. Her heart was having a difficult time returning to a normal rhythm, solely because she felt that the others' - now she knew one as Commander - shot had somehow, possibly, saved her a lot of explaining. Explaining she did not have the answers to, which she felt would cause more aggrivation. That nagging kept prying at her mind and for now she heeded it, glancing to the Commander as the Captain took the pike, to offer the newcomer the brevity of a semblance of a smile. She knew she was still pale, and she would let it be thought it was because of the altercation of the dead beast.
She wiped the hand that had been holding the pike onto her cloth clad thigh, ridding her palm and fingers of the ground's debris.. dirt and leaves and the like. as yet another figure came into the small clearing. Her mind and body sighed with a new weariness, a weariness that comes with too much going on at one time in a small span of time. She listened as the new newcomer gave their report, her gaze side-glancing to the Commander every so often.. curious if he held the same animus as the Captain about the moon. She found she actually liked it. It was cooler than Jaguada and the abundance of life was a stark contrast to that of the planet Si'laan orbited. She knew she could do so much here, unlike on Jaguada where there was so little to play with.
As the troopers words signaled an apparent approaching departure, she moved her gaze from the other man and sought to straighten her spine, to ease the ache between her shoulders. Another sigh.. her thoughts travelling to the new... energy signal... wondering who or what it was. Would it be her aunt? She thought not. Her aunt appeared much to clever and she felt a deep inkling of new resentment for having been abandoned and left with strangers. No matter the cause, having been given a reason as to why she'd been dumped would have been a lot better than being simply left with no explanation. She felt her features tighten in anger, her shoulder shifting a back roll to adjust her pack, seemingly not feeling the creeping cold that came with approaching nightfall. She sensed the stirrings of beings unseen and as the Captains call brought her out of her reverie, she moved after him.

Re: Ambria
Kyr heard them long before he saw them-the hard truth was, no matter how well trained or how experienced, it was difficult to keep quiet while marching in armor and with weapons.
He was not wearing his full armor-it would be unthinkable in the swelter and heat of the jungle. Instead, he wore black cargo pants with combat boots and a vest. His arms were bare save for black gloves, exposing his muscles to the insects that buzzed about. Thankfully, he'd taken the time to spray himself before venturing into the jungle.
He was presently perched at the top of a tree, gazing through his rifle scope. On his back was a large machete he'd used to help make his way when his path was obstructed, not that much could obstruct him-he was a massive Zabrak, with a crown of horns on his head, and the traditional black Zabrak tattooes on his body. His eyes blazed molten gold, and his countenance bore years of war and experience.
Imperial Command had decided that the officers already on the ground needed a touch more backup, and, since he was nearby, he'd been chosen.
It would be good to see Commander Vassyl again.
With that thought in mind, he allowed himself to drop, bending his knees slightly upon impact with the ground, and waited for the column to enter the clearing.
The moment they did, he saluted, same as if they were on the bridge of a starship, and said "Kyr'amur Null, reporting for duty."

Re: Ambria
Rhoden raised his eyebrows at the Captain's response, "I'll keep that in mind next time you're in such a position." he said, turning to Ambria "Well hello there Ms. Ambria, Commander Rhoden Carbine at your service." he said, thankfull that this time he would not be escorting a civilian anywhere during the middle of an active firefight. Hopefully.
Rhoden and the rest of Inferno Squad followed behind Ambria and the Captain, Rhoden's helmet noted the heat signature and slight sounds of someone or something just ahead as it dropped out of a tree. As the group entered the small clearing Rhoden dropped his blaster, which he had raised upon noting the movement. "Commander Null, welcome!" Rhoden said. He had worked with the man a few times prior and personally considered the man a friend--whether or not the feeling was mutual did not concern Rhoden.
"I would hope you are here to assist in the search?" Rhoden asked.

Re: Ambria
If Rhoden was even partially prepared for the Commander's entrance, Doren absolutely was not. As the figure of the Zabrak warrior loomed into view, the Captain nearly lost his footing from sheer shock, reeling and righting himself at the last possible moment. Kyr'amur Null, the "Hero of Coruscant", slayer of men, and weapons specialist without nary an equal. Needless to say, the man's reputation was befitting of his titanic stature. Vassyl seldom had the opportunity to work alongside the living legend, though all the interactions he'd been fortunate of having were overwhelming positive. The Commander emanated an aura of intense self-control, integrity, and killer instinct, all of which were not lost on Doren. He much admired the man, and in this moment, greatly feared him as well. Nonetheless, this was a comrade of a friendly banner, and one whose expertise in tracking and infiltration were a timely addition indeed.
Delivering a crisp salute in response, Vassyl followed up Rhoden's salutations, "Commander, it's been quite a while. I must say you've picked a fortuitous occasion to join us: I should be most grateful for any assistance you're willing to provide". Vassyl then paused, a perplexed look sprouting on his face. Instantaneously, his expression smoothed back into a polite grin, and stepping to one side, Doren continued, "Commander Null, allow me to introduce you to Miss Ambria. She's a native of this system, and will be accompanying us as a ward of the Empire". Indulging a brief moment of human contentment, the Captain's calm was cut short by a thundering boom off ahead of their retinue. Vassyl's troops stood motionless in light of the disruption, their hands title wound round their weapons. The sound was followed up by another deafening blast, and another. Doren's eyes began to widen as he recognized the pattern of the cacophony: a trail of footsteps.
Vassyl gaze swept back towards his companions, until he locked visors with the trooper manning the energy scanner. With a sad nod, the beleaguered soldier confirmed Doren's fears, and the young officer fought to contain his inner frustration. Turning about once more, the Captain addressed the party in full, "It appears our current lead has attracted some company of its own: I suggest we tread carefully". Gripping his force pike in both hands, Doren waited for his counterparts to prepare themselves to advance. Vassyl himself made sure to stand in proximity to Ambria, lest whatever lay ahead chose to attack their unarmed plus one. Under normal circumstances, Doren might have offered the young lady a blaster. That said, her wonderment at certain key phrases and technological armaments led him to assume such a tool might be mishandled in her care. Thankfully, Vassyl, and the two commanders were quite capable of shoring up any lacking in arms.
