Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
He continued to walk down a corridor, he turned a corner and then another. Then his senses started to tingle. Not with Danger
*Life Sense* He sensed another presence in the installation and from his estimation he or she was close by. Was it that other ship? Or maybe someone who lives here? He did not know he would proceed with caution.
He had entered a room that looked like a repair bay for droids. As lots of various appendages and limbs of various droid models
Were sitting on workbenches and shelves sitting on one work area was a fully assembled droid. He recognized it instantly, it was
What they called a Destroyer, or a Droidekia it was inactive. These droids have given some fight back in their day even giving Jedi
Problems.
He found nothing of interest and continued down the hallway, and turned another corner. Just then he could have sworn he heard talking. Warvanus came to a dead stop listening, yes there definitely was someone else here. He then stepped into the on coming hallway and saw a man and a droid down the hall. He made no move that would show hostile intent but his senses now were on high alert at This new development.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Dot gave a quiet beep of alert to the new arrival and they all turned to face the unknown intruder. Rhoden surveyed the figure carefully, it was not a droid, at least not one he was privy to. The clothing was reminiscent of what he had seen on the various Sith he had been unfortunate enough to meet. Rhoden sighed.
"Hello there." he said, loudly enough to be heard from the man's position. "Now who might you be?" Jorvan remained silent and still, Haly took a step back and to the side, putting herself behind the two men who were more suited to the front-line combat, but keeping her eyes on the man down the hall should she need to fire herself.
Dot detached himself from Rhoden's back and floated up and to the side. It made no hostile move but fixed its glowing red eye on the man down the hall.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Warvanus did not approach, he stood still, he did not move. He did see that that there was not just one person but a few and the droid attached the head person’s back. “Odd” he thought to himself. One them extended him a greeting and a question. He was not about to divulge his identity to strangers especially ones garbed in Imperial uniforms.
He would not be rude however “Greetings” he said through his mask, the sound of his voice mechanicalized could be heard as it echoed down the hallway.
He could perceive caution on their end, they would be fools not to. He would make no sudden moves or jesters.
“I am an explorer, like you I suspect” he said after a moment, with that he took slow deliberate steps towards them. He was still not making any move that would scream hostile or aggressive. When he was half the distance he stopped. Not all Sith were butchers, he would not kill anyone here for the sake of taking a life. He was alone; he wanted to get through this with little conflict as possible. “A fine relic from the Clone Wars would’nt you agree” he said when he had closed the distance by half.

"An interesting find, indeed, let's just hope the droids remain inactive." Rhoden said. The man made no hostile moves but did close the distance between them by half. Rhoden ran through his options. Running him off or stunning him wasn't a viable option, and Rhoden wasn't about to leave the base simply because there was a potential threat in front of him. He sighed.
"I think," he said "We need to come to an agreement as to how we proceed." Rhoden hoped the man didn't run through his options and decide he could take on the Imperials.

He did very briefly consider taking them on, but it would serve no purpose. Killing another Sith was one thing but when it came to someone from another faction it could get complicated. No he would work with them for now if they were in agreement.
He nodded after a couple of moments “I agree” he had meant not only on how to proceed but also in the sentiment of the droids staying inactive “I’ve already come across Droidekas as well” He would take one of them back with him maybe he could modify it and alter its’ programming.
“I have been tracking this Asteroid, and it’s been swaying in and out of both our respective spaces” he began. “I did not come here seeking a fight, but to merely appease my sense of historical intrigue” he paused then adapting a mask of cordiality he added "Surely, our combined efforts would benefit us both than our separate ones" He waited for the man to consider that.

Rhoden had no choice but to trust the man. "Well then, let's proceed." he relaxed slightly and Dot floated back over and reclaimed his position on Rhoden's back. Haly stepped back out, wary but with weapon lowered. Jorvan gave a low grumble and lowered his weapon.
"Now then, that's better. Shall we?" he said cheerily gesturing down another corridor. He walked on before the figure could answer and Haly gave a start before following, surprised by his action. Jorvan stood and waited for the other man to begin moving before following them.

With the weapons at him lowered Warvanus too relaxed just a bit, he kept his senses alert for the first sign of danger and or any new presences that may or may not be on the station.
“ I say we head down this way” pointing to the right corrordor “I came from this one” he pointed behind him “Its mostly hallway with a few empty offices and the hanger in which I landed” He looked at the others he was sure he seemed menacing in his armor but he was not about to show his face unless he absolutely needed to.
“From the little I have seen it almost looks like this place was some sort of research facility” as he took a couple steps in the new direction.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Rhoden tapped a flickering screen on the wall which flashed on at his touch, he observed it and flicked through it briefly. "It looks like it did have a research facility, but the primary function--at one point anyways--was to be a listening post." he said absently, turning to look around again. Jorvan looked at him, "You know this, why?" Rhoden shrugged, "I may have broken into my father's Republic database and read up on a bunch of files." Jorvan turned and began knocking his helmet against the wall.
"Hmm. What were they researching, though? That's the question." Rhoden asked, "Biological weapons, new droids?" Haly asked, "Maybe bio-weapons, I wouldn't know about droids but this place doesn't seem viable for even small-scale production." he responded. Rounding a corner where a large door slid open to reveal a chamber with small assembly line. "I stand corrected." he said. But as far as he could see it didn't look as though there were any new droids. Which might well be the point, of course.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Warvanus listened to the conversation, based on what he had seen so far there was nothing to suggest biological weapons research, the production assembly room they had stumbled into suggested possible droid manufacturing.
“Maybe this was a R&D for droid weapons” he stated to nobody more thinking to himself in this case. From what he knew that prior to the Clone Wars some of its members mainly the insectoid species began manufacturing weapons, the Death Star had rumored to come from the seperatists weapon designers. He walked over to what was an assembly line maybe responsible for attaching components or inspecting them but on the line he could see nothing of interest.
Upon closer inspection Warvanus turned his attention to a terminal, the display read “Project Goliath: Offline” in bold red letters.
He looked at Rhoden “Are you familiar with Project Goliath?” he asked , he knew that he himself had not heard of it in any of his reading, years after the clone wars, he knew a lot of their top secret projects were de-classified but even that information was sketchy at best.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Rhoden furrowed his brow, "Possiblly." he said in response to the man's muttered comment. "I've never heard of a Project Goliath, though." he said. He walked up to a terminal and requested access. [Access Denied, Security Protocol 3] flashed onto the screen. He sighed and jammed his knife into the side of the console, popping off the siding to expose the internal mechanisms. Before he could kneel down to take a look Jorvan tapped him on his shoulder and gestured him away.
Rhoden watched as Jorvan set to work, poking and pulling, keying up a data stream and setting to work on the keyboard as well. Rhoden was proficient in this kind of work, but nowhere near the same league as his friend. After a few minutes the screen flickered and a new message appeared [Access Approved, Administrator]. "Excellent." Rhoden said, gesturing over the other man.
"What do you make of it?" he asked. Haly leaned around to look as their companion pulled up a datafile.
