Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
He had indeed thought about blowing the facility up, once he learned what it was and if there was anything worth taking.
“I have” he said and left it at that.
After sometime they finally arrived at the security station, there had been no more incident since that batch of Droids. The Door to it would not open when Warvanus approached, he noticed a keypad to the right of the door.
“Care to do the honors?” he gestured to the keypad. Knowing that one of the commander’s people had the skill to slice into it.

Rhoden scowled, "I was afraid you'd say that." they walked on. Rhoden had never had the pleasure of exploring a Separatist facility during the war, he'd not even been a participant in the war, really, but it was an interesting study.
They approached a door and Rhoden gestured for Jorvan to open it at the Sith's invitation, the man went to work quietly and efficiently, and the door was open three minutes later. "The security here is almost disappointing." Jorvan muttered.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Warvanus gave what almost sounded like a chuckle “I’m sure back during the Clone Wars that it was state of the art” as he walked in he noticed a lot of screens, and various computers and equipment, all covered in dust, no indication of any life whatsoever.
He wondered how long this place has been abandoned. He gave a cursory glance around him but he would let the Imperials take a look as he looked for some sort of fuse box but even with that it could spark trouble so he would be cautious. Fortunately for him he found no such power source at all in the security room.
“Looks like this might be a dead end” he stated plainly
As the Imperials would do their own examinations he stood at the entrance guarding it from any possible would be droids.

"Might've been advanced for the droids..." Jorvan said, stepping back. The Imperials stood guard while the Sith looked over the room, then moved in to check it themselves. Rhoden rifled through drawers, examined data on computer terminals, and snatched datacards off of a shelf. Nothing.
He turned away but paused, there was a distinctly lighter rectangle on the wall, roughly the shape of the datacard shelf. He examined the shelf more closely and noticed it wasn't quite up against the wall. "I think this shelf's been moved." Rhoden said, "Recently." he turned to the Sith, "Normal droids wouldnt be programmed to do this, but we didn't detect any life signs when we came aboard." he shrugged, "Special droids or special person. Let's take a look."

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
He nodded, it was weird that a shelf had been moved recently, he examined it himself and he could see the dust but an outline of no dust, showing that the Imperial’s observation had been sound. He would let the Imperials lead the way as he would provide cover for the rear. If there were going to be hostilities between the two then it would have happened long ago, and as it had been proven when they worked together they were a formidable team.
Once again he reached out with the Force (Life Sense) he pushed his influence outwards he could not engulf the entire station with his power but enough to not sense any life on the next few floors down. He then felt out those few bottom levels his invisible fingers looking for something amiss, (Sense Force Disturbance) the Force came back silent.
It was silent, only the sounds of the life support systems illuminated their area with a subtle sound. Much like how it was supposed to be, slightly aware of the machines working but not over bearing audibly. While the Force came back silent to him he could not shake the bad feeling that was rising up inside him. The Force had offered nothing, could it have been paranoia? He was not the paranoid type.
“Something is not right” he finally said and before anyone would question his statement he continued. “Something is amiss” he wouldn’t tell them that the Force was silent.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Jorvan grabbed one side of the shelf and pulled, Rhoden pushed from the other. After they'd moved it the Imperials proceeded inside ahead of the Sith. They moved slowly but surely, scanning the walls. Eventually they came to a rather large freight lifter which only went down--and down a considerable distance at that.
"Well. Let's see what's down here, then." he said, he felt dubious. If the Sith said something was amiss, that something wasn't right, then they had serious issues. Rhoden had a brief flicker of understanding, or perhaps it was simply hope, "Something amiss? Could you not sense far enough to see what lay at the bottom of this shaft?" he gestured to the lift. He swallowed, "Or is it that you can sense nothing at all?" he asked. He knew of only one creature which could block out the Force--but he could not imagine what it might be doing here.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
He followed the Imperials inside, his senses extended as they moved along without incident until they came to this freight lifter. He looked down; it did indeed descend into darkness. He extended his senses, and he could sense further down but then after a bit he hit nothingness , a void as if the Force did not exist, which led him to suspect one creature and if it were down there it would make him vulnerable, also what were they doing in here, what were they blocking Force users from? More questions rose in his mind as he stared into it.
He nodded when the commander asked about something being amiss. “More just my gut feeling at least at first” he began “Beyond several floors I sense nothing, the Force is silent deep down as if its not even there” pausing as he did not take his eyes off the shaft. “If Ysalmari are in the deeper levels they are shielding something or someone, and that is going to be bad for us” he said then finally looking at the commander. “I can sense no danger or any life down about ten floors, after that I cannot be certain” He was taking a gamble in saying this, as he was essentially saying he might be vulnerable once they are inside that bubble, but Warvanus had other skills that did not require the Force and still would be quite formidable even without the Force, though he did not look forward to the void that he would be feeling inside himself and all around him. Maybe just maybe it would be less severe if he prepared himself for it. He had limited exposure to Ysalmari.
With that he stepped onto the Freight lifter, ready to face whatever it was that was down there. One thought that occurred to Warvanus, just how many were down there if they were on this station? And would it be enough to be able to kill them? Only one way to find out he figured to himself. He waited for the Imperials to join him on the lift.

Rhoden breathed out. "This is not good." he said. The Imperials stepped onto the lift and held their blasters ready across their chests. The lift descended at alarming speed, but for two minutes they did not reach the bottom. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Jorvan said, "Why'd you have to say that?!" Haly asked, "Now something bad is going to happen." Rhoden sighed.
"Please tell me you can be useful in a fight without the Force..." he said to the Sith. "Because I don't fancy getting shot in the back of the head by a misguided shot." the lift jerked to a stop and he took a deep breath, "Time to meet our host." he said.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
As the lift descended he could feel himself being cut off from the Force, it was not a pleasant feeling, he felt weak but not incapable. He wondered how good he would be with his lightsaber, but then squashed it as he devoted as much time to martial skills as he did his training in the Force. He was not one of those who turned useless when the Force was not an option. The elevator stopped and he would lead just to make sure there was no danger, some might view it as noble or valiant, in truth he didn’t want the Imperials to get all the good fights if there was fighting to be had.
As he stepped off he looked at the Imperial Commander “I guess we are about to find out” he smirked through the helmet of his armor and the doors slid open to reveal a long hallway and at the other end of the door stood 2 standard B1s in which one pointed his rifle at Warvanus. He responded by hitting the rifle with his hand pushing it away from him, with his free hand he drew his vibro blade and jabbed it under it’s ribcage. Sparks flew as the droid dropped. Once it dropped he threw a side kick using all his weight into the chest of the 2nd droid. The droid did fall backwards giving Warvanus enough time to grab the first one’s blaster rifle and gave the 2nd one a shot right at the head.
He stopped and admired his handiwork a bit and then looked at the Imperial Commander. “I think I can hold my own” he said confidently. He tried to keep his mind off of the sense of emptiness, and loss he felt from being severed from the Force.

Re: A place long forgotten (Rhoden, Warvanus)
Rhoden was slightly disappointed their first opponents were droids--but his disappointment faded swiftly in the face of the Sith's skills. "Good. Not perfect. But good." he said, smiling. They proceeded down the hallway, there were overhead lights, but dim ones--there were ports in the walls emitting faint blue light as well and Rhoden suspected they housed ysalamir inside of them.
They stepped out onto a balcony and Rhoden looked down--and froze. He breathed in a hiss of air and felt Jorvan stiffen beside him. "Blazing stars of Tatooine.." he muttered. Rhoden cursed softly. There was row upon row of tanks filled with liquid, humanoid forms floated within most--and there was a general milling of sentients and droids on the floor level.
Rhoden had seen facilities like this in historical and intelligence documents--he'd been inside one before. It wasn't as impressive as some were, certainly not as large--but not quite small either. "Do you know what this is...?" he asked softly. Haly shook her head, "Yes." he said. Rhoden looked to the Sith.
