Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Neive and his squad hadn't seen much action in a while... in a way, it was comforting, but in another way it was offputting. Meant that the longer they went unnoticed, the worse it could be if and when they were found. But for the moment, Neive and the others could only think and wait. After being assigned to Bonadon, Neive had a bad feeling... the imperials were usually not present in the corporate sector in force, but the reports came in not long ago, it seemed something was going on... something bad. But whatever it was, they were keeping it under wraps.
Neive in his delta shuttle, most of the things in his possession inside, sat and thought... what were they supposed to do now, since they couldn't see what was happening on the planet surface and there were no suspicious vessels in the atmosphere...
"Orion 1-1, this is 1-4... Any new orders from the bosses?" spoke Aaida from her K-wing.
"1-4, negative. We can only wait and see for now..." Neive replied.
"1-1, this is 1-3. We have had nothing for 2 days... are you sure we need to stay and not head back?" Kelaris spoke, with Drenn sitting beside him in their YT 2000.
"1-3, just hold tight. I sent a message back to our Felucia outpost not long ago, we should get something back soon." Neive sighed, thinking about the words of his allies... were they right in thinking that they had lost contact with the alliance?
"1-1, this is 1-2 and 1-5. We're behind you either way" Trivium spoke for both himself and Krat...
They were loyal, at least.
Neive nodded before responding. "Appreciate it, 1-2. We may need to get back soon, though. Unless we see something soon, we'll probably head back to felucia, make sure nothing went wrong up there."

Re: Bishop's Mind Trick(Part I, Rho)
The Other One had devoted considerable time and resources into searching for one Neive Undant and Rhoden in his current state had interest in the man as well. Both thought he could become a useful asset to the Empire with some... persuasion. Or at least a source of information.
The Other One's interest had only increased further upon subsequent meetings--notably a botched attempt at his own capture. Rhoden smiled at that thought, trying to capture him in any state of mind was not conductive to ones health.
There was another flash of blasterfire from the distance and the Stormtrooper Commander's voice came over the comm. "Rebel outpost secured, sir." his smile widened, "Very good, Commander." he said, his voice steady "The location of our hopeful targets?" he asked a note of hope in his voice. He could hear grim satisfaction in the other man's voice, "Right here, sir. As you suspected, Undant is involved." Rhoden's eyes glittered. Victory.
It was two days later and Rhoden sat in the cockpit of one of the Task Force's new TIE Avengers--already bearing the distinctive black paint jobs with red markings. He squirmed in his seat with excitement. The TIE's and Starwing's would come out of hyperspace ahead of the Hydra and blast Neive's little friends--and then they would have Neive all alone. Subject to Rhoden's will. He laughed to himself.
The blue swirls of hyperspace broke into stars and Rhoden immediately latched on to the tiny little lives of the rebels ahead of him. He keyed on his comm, "Hello, hello. We're here to play." he said joyfully. He fired.

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Nobody was ready for what would happen next...
The second the ships came towards them, Everyone powered their thrusters. However, the two Utapauns had a fault in the YT, and its thrusters stalled. Just 2 seconds...
Lasers slammed into the thrusters, and a chain reaction destroyed the entire vessel.
"Kelaris!" Aaida called from her comm. the others scattered and fled as Neive led the team away from the assault transport.
"Alright, we need to group up and get back to felucia-"
More shots... The delta shuttle that Krat and trivium were hit, their hull almost completely ripped through.
"Don't worry, we're good. A little beat, but at this rate, we'll-"
The ship's hull ripped apart, and another laser shot and the front side of the ship exploded.
"Krat, trivium... damn it..." Aaida shook her head in the cockpit. Only her K-wing and Neive's Z-95 remained active...

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Rhoden's volley took the freighter and it exploded brilliantly. Rhoden kept the comm line open, laughing he maneuvered behind another ship--a shuttle, it too exploded with minimal effort; though Rhoden gave the fools time enough to think they had survived. He locked on to another ship, transponder codes matching it to that of Neive's headhunter--unless he had altered ship assignments without alerting the outpost he was there.
Rhoden spoke once more, "Hello, hello Neive. We have so much to discuss." he said, his voice falsely sweet. He fired his ion cannons. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the other fighters break off their pursuit of the remaining fire--and he suspected he knew the reason.
Sure enough the Hydra dropped out of hyperspace and he saw the cannons swivel to target the fighter--but it was gone in a streak of light. He sighed. "Close enough." he said, turning to face Neive's fighter. Yes. Good enough indeed.
"Get a tractor lock on Mr. Undant's fighter. And have the ysalamir ready for his arrival." he said, "Yes, sir." Lieutenant Commander Mercado's voice responded.

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Neive went to the encrypted comm between the squad... Or what was left of it.
"Aaida, you need to get back to alliance space! They're gunning for me, you need to get out of here!"
Aaida protested. "But what about you?!"
Neive sighed. "I'll be fine, just go! Get out of here!"
As his fighter slowed, the tractor beam latching on, her ship shot into hyperspace, however reluctant the pilot was...
Neive sighed, lowering the power of his thrusters. There was no getting out this time. Neive looked at the lightsaber on his belt loop, thinking... Was it right to attack them? They killed his friends and allies, they've done so much to Neive... Did that justify him using this weapon?
The answer, Neive thought... Was yes.
He grabbed the handle and waited for the ship to enter the hangar. They would most likely kill him, but he would take as many of them down with him as he could...

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
The Hydra's full complement of Stormtroopers was present, as well as the Inferno Squad, with some of the Navy troopers standing ready. The stormtroopers themselves numbered twenty, Inferno Squad brought that number up to thirty. All stood in a circle around the ship as it touched down on the deck--and every other trooper had a ysalamiri mounted on his or her back.
The forces leveled their blasters on the cockpit, all were set on stun; but they weren't taking any risks with the Force user. "Do ion grenades work on lightsabers?" one of the troopers asked, "I dunno, give it a try." another said. He unclipped the grenade and tossed it to the fighter, there was a flash and any systems still online went out.
Another trooper snickered, "Lucky that didn't take out our blasters. The boss'd kill ya." The trooper who'd thrown the grenade straightened and aimed his blaster once more, cursing silently. The cockpit opened.
Rhoden brought his fighter in and hopped out, walking calmly toward Neive's fighter. He saw the cockpit open as he walked up to the circle of troopers. "Come now, Neive, we don't want to make a scene." he said, raising his own blaster.

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Neive could not do much but wait as the troopers surrounded him. But as the ion grenade bounced to his fighter and blew, he sighed. His lightsaber would be utterly useless. Neive hooked it back onto its loop, seeing there was no other way to go. His fibro blades could work, but they wouldnt deflect everything. It was no use now...
For the first time in what felt like ages, Neive was powerless.
As the cockpit opened, he slowly stepped out of the cockpit, hands raised as he looked at Rhoden. He only watched as the man approached, stepping off the fighter.
"The scene started when you took out 4 of my friends..." Neive looked down. He would kill everyone there if he had the chance, but the words of Ben Kenobi resonated within him.
"When I was on Dromund Kaas, I was tempted by the dark side. I could have embraced it, escaped and slayed my captors. But we must all resist the dark side in order to find peace..."
It wasnt his exact words, but he knew what Ben had meant. And Neive wasn't about to let himself fall to the dark side because of this... Not because of the man in front of him.

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Rhoden laughed coldly at the hatred he read in the man. "Oh, you absolutely hate me; don't you?" he asked, lowering his weapon. He took a step forward, "You stand there, in the knowledge that you're so perfect, that the rebellion is all sunshine and rainbows. Outraged that I would dare to kill people in a war!" He smiled and raised a single finger, "But what you seem to be forgetting is that this is a war. People die. On both sides. And I can assure you--my naive little friend--that the rebellion is not innocent of war crimes!" he bellowed the last two words.
Rhoden straightened up and smoothed out his expression, gesturing to two ysalamiri laden Stormtroopers. "Come peacefully, it would be a shame if we had to stun you." he said. He smiled again as the troopers grabbed Neive's arms and cuffed him. "Excellent." his smile broadened as his eyes glittered. "And now..." he said softly, "We begin."
Rhoden gestured again, "To the interrogation chamber." he said, clicking on his comm "To Utopia, Lieutenant Commander." he said, "Aye, sir." her voice returned.

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Neive let his voice go silent as he listened to rhoden's spiel. He knew he wasn't perfect... But Rhoden failed to acknowledge that he wasn't either. But Neive was in no place to be making threats, he thought as he walked with the men, his hands bound. All he could do is stay silent...
Now he knew how Ben really felt going with the sith... How humiliating, how humbling the experience pf being captured was...
Honestly, Neive thought, he'd rather die then go through a with interrogation. And just that thought made this feel like heaven in comparison. Stay on the positive, neive thought, no matter how hard that would be...

Re: Bishop's mind trick(part I, rho)
Rhoden followed behind Neive and the troopers, stepping forward as he was handed over to the "nurses" in the interrogation chamber. The chamber, by Rhoden's order, had been equipped with ysalamiri as well and they strapped the man down on the table without difficulty. "No Force to save you from what is coming. Back to being a mere mortal." Rhoden said as the nurses slipped needles and other instruments into Neive's arms.
There was a click and a hum filled the chamber as an interrogation droid floated up. "Now, I'm afraid proper interrogation won't be taking place just yet." Rhoden chuckled, "No. I have something far better in mind for you." he said softly. "You, will be made into an asset of the Empire." a small smile touched his lips and he stepped back.
There was a flowing of chemicals into Neive's arm, "You will find yourself highly susceptible to suggestion for the next few hours." Rhoden said in a bored voice, "Furthermore we'll be taking a look inside your precious little head and rearranging things to suit our purposes." he said, patting Neive's forehead lovingly. "Of course the true work begins once I convince my superiors it is a worthwhile project--if they do not jump at the idea," he shrugged, "You will still be capable of undergoing a full interrogation."
