Prakith...

Kita was in a holding cell down the hall, not far from the Grand Inquisitor's office here. Of course the holding cell was a force user cell, so one could not simply escape. She had ordered a squad of guards to watch the halls and the rest of the base was on high alert.
Anything that came near here would be shot at and she would be alerted immediately. The Grand Inquisitor didn't like stopping here, but fuel was needed for the Pathfinder. It was her ship, dreadnaught class, one of the few things she had left in this galaxy.

"So do you want to tell me what you think you're doing attacking unarmed Jedi? " She asked Prazutis looking at him. She wanted to know what the hell was going on with him.

Aliclair ended the call between herself and the oaken professor, inhaling then exhaling. Her eyes met her skull faced canine and met him on the ground by getting on her knees and grabbing his cheek fluffs affectionately. "Behave, be good and don't eat my clothes." she mumbled while pressing her nose to his cold face. His exoskeleton'ed tail wagged slightly in affirmation before resting his head back on the fluffy back of his Raquor'daan mate.

Sighing softly, Ali got to her feet and prepared her lower-backpack along with sheathing her lightspear and Recurve-styled bowcaster behind her before heading out to meet Sa'ato in the appropriate location. Upon arrival, she stopped mid-walk to see all of the hands that were on deck and her features slightly twisted to show distain. How could he have all this muscle but the felidae couldn't have her hound?? Giving herself a mental eyeroll, she met up with the head-man of this extraction. Sensing his vibes sent an unease shiver down the feminine's slightly furred spine but she withheld any sort of feature shift, keeping her features neutral then crossed her arms as he explained the plan. "And I am needed for what reason, exactly? You seem to have things handled with all this muscle." she challenged with a raise of her knicked eyebrow.

Prazutis needed to choose his next words carefully.

He stood in an office made for a high ranked Inquisitor, commandeered by the Grand Inquisitor for their meeting. The office had all the luxuries that most imperial officers requested, though it was clear none of them would be used for some time.

Prazutis stood on one side of the room, looking out a window into space. He could feel the Grand Inquisitor’s anger, her outrage with him. How powerful she was…

When I was still an inquisitor, I was told my job was to handle matters of force users. At the time, we still had a ceasefire with the Sith, and with information at my disposal about the Galactic Alliance, I knew they had a near kinship with the Jedi.

Prazutis paused, considering his words, then continued.

Do you know how many Jedi I’ve killed, Grand Inquisitor? How many I’ve fought?” Prazutis asked. In his experience with the Empire, there was one thing that was clear about the difference between Jedi and Sith.

I’ve fought two Sith since joining the Inquisitorious. However, in that time, I’ve also fought with Jedi seven times. Isn’t that a high discrepancy?” Prazutis asked, turning back to the Grand Inquisitor.

On any other given day, Sa'ato would have appreciated Aliclair's courage in questioning his judgement. But not today. The Neti straightened up to his full 'humanoid' height, and stepped within centimeters of the Felidae, his gilt eyes fixed on her with an icy focus. "If you honestly believe that then you are frightfully misinformed", the academic countered, trying and failing to speak without growling, "Do you think our enemies dump one of our kind in a labor camp? Or a reeducation center? No. Silvanius has likely been tossed in some pit deep within Imperial borders– one where no light– much less the Force can reach".

All of a sudden, Sa'ato's scowl and grimace eroded into a tired, neutral expression, "This crew- these warriors, are bid to live and die at my command. If any of them survive this it will be the exception– not the rule". The academic paused again before driving his point, "There is a very real chance that I too will perish during this mission–". The Neti narrowed his eyes at Aliclair, "And if I do, who remains to advocate on your behalf? To see that you aren't cast in a dungeon for some minor slight against the Sovereign? To provide guidance? Support? To lead you through the assembled wisdom of a thousand masters of the Dark Side?".

Sa'ato fell silent again, and shut his eyes. He inhaled, in his fashion, and exhaled before turning sharply about with an obvious intention to board. "If impertinence so grips you, then stay", the Neti mused quietly as he began to ascend the ramp, "Wait for some Imperial battlefleet to break down our lines and set this planet ablaze. I have no intention of dying today, but if it is to be so it will be a death of my own making…"

***Prakith System, Deep Core, Grid Coordinates K-10***

Mercifully, the last coordinates of Kita's personal spacecraft allowed Sa'ato to rule out an even less-feasible trip to the Imperial capital on Bastion. And, while the revitalization of the Inquisitor program and their headquarters was not covered in the many files stolen by Sith agents during the great coup, old records, Sa'ato's own encounter on Tenara, and instinct were enough to solidify his heading. Unfortunately, this meant his original scheme of a mid-journey extraction had met a quick and tragic end. Still, the professor hedged a new wager that Prakith would not boast the same overinflated security and screening as its more prominent neighbor, Byss.

In this respect, Sa'ato's hunch materialized, not that it guaranteed success. Navigating through the magnetic deadzone between the planet's outer and inner moons, the Sith away-team gunned down through the sea of ash that constituted Prakith's lower atmosphere. From there, the Mudhorn and its Infiltrator escorts were forced to zigzag through various canyons and crags, keeping alert at all times in case a gas pocket or volcanic plume flared before them. The plan was still a hit-and-run, but on a grander, more uncertain scale. Once they reached the old citadel, they would storm the premises with all their might, escape through the flames, or be consumed by them…

Aliclair kept her composure for the most part. Usually intimated by authority, her fear was subsided until a sort of nerve was struck. Or aggravated further. When Sa'ato moved toward her and into her bubble is when she slightly faltered, unfolded her hands and took steps back, not accounting the wall behind her. Ali let out a small yelp as the metal wall met her head with a soft thonk but she quickly regained her height and looked up at the hissed Neti, her ears drooping and brows furrowed with fret. She knew when to read the room and not prod the needle further than what she stuck it to begin with. "I-I--" she whimpered but his verbal scowling wasn't finished and she shut her teeth from speaking further, though she had no words to say. Ali was struck, but not with fear but with the dominance he'd displayed to shut her thoughts and questions down, she had to remember who, and what, she was in the Sith ranks; just the underdog.

She stayed against the wall even as he was leaving, just watching him with confliction in her opalescents, a trembling hand balled into a fist before placed on her chest as her fangs clenched. This was the part she hated about being amongst these darksiders. And it was something she had to remind herself. To remind why she was here; to protect. Ali refocused from being stunned and pushed herself from the wall she was pinned against. Though, she had to be brave in this moment; the feminine quickly walked forward to halt Sa'ato by grabbing his arm. "I.. I'm with you. Just say jump, and I'll say how high. You've helped me, I'll help you... you say blow the planet to smitherin's," her gaze darkened unexpectedly. "Then let it be." she ended before releasing his arm and taking a step back.

"I want to know when the defense of the empire included fighting and killing defenseless Jedi! I don't know when this happened but it won't happen again...(she paused) This is going to have to wait, the enemy is here." She said as she got up, pushing a button. "Sound the alarm, the sith are here." She said. They knew better then to question the grand Inquisitor, even if the radar couldn't pick up anything.

She calmed herself and looked at Prazutis through her helmet. "We guard the prisoner. No mercy on the Sith coming to try to get her back." She said, as she began to head for the prisoner. The grand Inquisitor meant every word, she wasn't hiding her presence. She wanted the Sith to know exactly what they were coming at. Grabbing one of her hilts as she walked, the Sith coming wouldn't leave alive.

Silvanius found herself trapped in a force cell...again. The only difference? She had force powers this time and wasn't being held by Lord Tormentous after being abducted from her home. "SERIOUSLY!?" She yelled in frustration. "Never coming in this territory again for a LONG time." She muttered to herself with a sigh. Silvanius knew if Pratuzis hadn't walked into the cantina, she wouldn't have possibly been in this predicament. The only good news was, at least the bond between her and Sa'ato had strengthened since he joined the sith. This had made him aware of her capture through the force itself. However, she started wondering how long exactly that was going to take.

It was silent for awhile, guards were hanging around throughout the area.
That is, until the alarms started going off.
Silvanius smiled slightly as she knew what that meant.
Freedom.

The more the Grand Inquisitor talked, the more Prazutis felt like he was being scolded like a child. Not since his days within the Sith did he hear such words uttered at him.

Prazutis listened and contemplated his next words, but in the middle of the Grand Inquisitor’s tirade, Prazutis paused.

A disturbance, something distant that approached. He felt a kinship with the aura, but knowing how deep into the dark side he was, that wasn’t a good thing.

Prazutis looked back at the Grand Inquisitor as she began to speak, and nodded to her command without a word. Their argument was important to both of them, but there were more urgent matters at hand.

Prazutis made his way towards the holding cells, bringing his wrist up to his helmet and speaking.

Shadowhawk, come in. Inform Nimbus squad to land a ship at the closest hangar to my location. Tell them they have new prey.

At Prazutis’ request, Nimbus squad prepared quickly and embarked on a transport to join Prazutis and the Grand Inquisitor at the base. Their whips and other weapons were ready, and it had been some time since they had truly fought, so Prazutis knew they were giddy for a chance to fight more force sensitives. Be it the girl if she managed out of her cell, or the number of the Sith who likely came to either rescue or silence her, Nimbus squad were the best prepared for this kind of fight.

Another, more powerful surge in the Force caused Sa'ato to blink with shock just as the Mudhorn and its escorts climbed out from the foggy canyon toward their target. It was a presence unlike any Sa'ato had felt before– though he hardly had time to contemplate it now. Almost immediately, the handful of turrets and defensive batteries lining the old fortress roared to life and began to rake the air with laser flak– as if they had expected the Sith to arrive at that very moment. "Evasive maneuvers!", the professor boomed over the comms as he and his wingmen scattered to avoid being blasted to pieces before the operation could properly begin.

Much to his displeasure, Sa'ato had to temporarily rely on the jerkish autopilot while he assessed the situation with his mind. They needed an entry point– one where the fort's shielding and armor were at their thinnest. The Neti passed over imposing walls with his thoughts three times until– "There– all craft fire at this vector!". The infiltrators, while momentarily in loose formation, quickly stabilized in time to comply. Twelve ships' worth of lasers immediately peppered the intended target. The academic, in turn, emptied the Mudhorn's entire warhead magazine, before calling out to Aliclair in warning, "Hold on to something!".

With that, Sa'ato gunned the throttle ahead at top speed, the angular stern of his ship careening toward the fortress' second level. If the gamble had paid off, the old Pursuer II would punch clean through into the fort's interior. If not, the mission would be cut short in record time. The Neti held his breath. The collision was hardly comfortable, and the horrid screech of metal on metal was not a sensation the academic would forget easily. And yet, after what seemed a small eternity, the vessel reached entropy– and had managed not explode on the spot. Leaping out of his chair, the professor nearly sprinted past Aliclair, stopping only when he realized instructions were called for.

"Take half the droids and see if you can locate Silvanius' belongings", the Neti quickly spat out, "If she hasn't been tortured to the point of breaking we'll need the extra muscle to aid in our withdrawal-". Sa'ato broke back into a sprint, but took one last moment to holler up the service tunnel, "I'm going to try and locate our ward and sabotage what I can along the way– be swift!". Upon reaching the cargo bay of the Mudhorn, the academic was pleased to see his mixed bag of warriors was not disheveled in light of the rough landing. Nodding with anticipation, he keyed the main bay doors open, and ignited both his main saber and shoto.

Orange blades simmering at the ready, Sa'ato stepped into the upper hall of the fortress and began to scan his surroundings while the troops fell in behind him. Clad in bone armor from head to toe, the academic's enameled mask hid all but his gilt eyes from view. Similarly, the professor reflexively twisted the tendrils that made up his 'hair' into various faux-horns and shapes to further obscure his identity. Though, while no one yet knew of his daylight charade, there was at least one other masked warrior close at hand who knew Sa'ato and his abilities all too well…

As she made her way to the hallway, the squad still stood ready. "No one's here yet Grand Inquisitor." The captain of the squad said. "Reinforce the end of the hallway, it's their only way in or out of this hallway. Prazutis and I will guard the cell, unless you would like to meet them in the docking bay?" She asked. She knew they would have to make it here, so there was no sense in wasting energy, but she wouldn't stop Prazutis. 'It would teach him patience.' She thought. She looked at the cell for a moment, making sure the prisoner was still secure, her weapon was also secure, Kota had that on her with her other blade.

Lasers began to shoot at the sith. "Fire at the intruders, reinforce the docking bays. Stop the Sith." A general said. He stood at the command tower making sure the crew got their weapons and were at their posts.
