Re: Facing Demons (Open)
The heat from consistent laser fire filled the air around the Dashade’s cover. The enemy had kept Varn pinned in his position and eventually the bolts would melt their way through the metal containers he’d been using. Unfortunately Varn didn’t trust his shield to hold up under the fire power this unknown enemy held, it was clearly more powerful then the blasters the crew had. Trying to think of his best move Varn suddenly heard a distinct click, the sound of an energy clip being release.
Taking the opportunity presented by the enemy having to reload the Ranger dove out of cover. The hostile looked up just as he finished switching the clip and was raising his carbine to continue the relentless assault but he was barely to slow. Varn released a shot from his rifle directly into the man’s leg and they went head over heels before slamming into the deck. The alien gave himself a silent victory moment before continue his search. He did a quick check of the body, definitely spec ops but he could spot any identification markings on them with a quick glance. The hostile was still alive tho now unconscious, Varn kicked the carbine off the deck when he heard the sound of someone getting thrown overboard.
The Dashade ran to the railing in time to see a corpse floating in the waters below. As he prepared to move on he paused hearing a familiar voice yelling, Miss Swann! His mind raced as he heard the sound of large objects getting hurled around before silence fall from the deck immediately below him. He pulled a rappelling cord from his belt and attacked it to the railing, took a deep breath, and jumped off the top deck and swung down to land on the floor where the noise had emanated from. He landed and looked up to meet the eyes of a blond woman who looked like neither the crew nor the third party.
Varn stood up and gave his best impression of a human smile as he noted some family resemblance in the woman’s features, perhaps a cousin of Miss Swann. “I’m here to help.” His voice spoke, raspy and clearly a bit out of breath.

OOC: Re-posted to fix some narrative and positional mistakes
It was time to move. Evelyn saw an opening and gestured Adar to follow her. He was peeking slightly from the vent to keep an eye on the situation, and was lucky Abigail didn't target him. It was then than someone else walked, or rather grappled into the room. A dashade. They weren't initially hostile, so that was a good sign, but caution was necessary here. And with that, Adar was going to execute his plan.
Jumping from the vent, he threw his coat towards Abigail's head. The coat covered her face, hindering her vision. That of course did not stop her from throwing objects towards Evy and Adar, but she could have been a lot more accurate. After that, he dashed through towards Evelyn. As he was doing that, one of the pipes Abigail threw at him managed to hit him in his leg, scratching it pretty bad. Adar screamed internally, but thanks to the adrenaline he was able to continue running. As he made it to the door, he saw another person, someone not part of the crew, killing her way towards it. Adar then entered the room and quickly closed the door behind him. Hopefully the dashade, Abigail and this person waiting behind the door would distract each other while Adar and Evy thought of a plan.
Evelyn seemed to have found where all her stuff were, along with many confiscated items of the crew. While she was busy taking back everything she needed, Adar took a moment to clear something with Evy.
"Evelyn, just so you know, I don't want to shoot your sister. But if she keeps..." Adar hissed and put his hand on his leg wound "... if she keeps trying to hurt us, we have to fight back. And on top of it all we seem to have new company, one outside this door and one right next to your sister." Adar made sure to keep his blaster pointed towards the door in case someone hostile opened it.

Re: Facing Demons (Open)
It just wasn't Abigail's day at all. First the annoying brat alongside her sister was a sneaky little rat for sure, suddenly jumping out from the vents and throwing a jacket at her to dismiss her first attack, clever guy. Though that didn't stop her from bringing in a little payback for his little stunt, as she threw more metal their way until they found some sort of shelter. Abigail managed to hit his leg with a pipe that flew through the air. Nodding satisfied to herself the blonde couldn't help but smirk almost devilishly at the sound of yelling because of her doing. It was like sweet music to her ears as she snickered amused. Hostile Force User... maybe, that depended on whether they would be in her way or not. Her main focus now would be to give her dear old sister a nice long torment, punish her for the abandonment - oh how she could almost taste the lovely pain from her sister already, however if they were in the way of that then they would learn of consequences indefinitely.
Another unlucky crew member was, sadly for him, in her way, as the slim figure slowly strode down the deck towards her target with confidence. His fate was to kiss the destroyed shrapnels drilled firmly into the walls at the other end of the ship. Then the young woman, with dirty blonde locks of curly long hair braided down along her side to her hips, had to stop abruptly as her vendetta for her sister was yet again interrupted by a monstrous beast nontheless appearing out of nowhere. Quirking a brow as she tilted her head, she could sense the goodness coming from this creature through the Force, but, that was also the only thing that she could sense. Abi was not amused one bit at this distraction. What in the bloody galaxy was going on here? Couldn't she just get her sister and then be done with it? Did the Force really have to toy with her precious moments so close to revenge? It was in her grasp at long last and no one could take that away from her. No one...
Feeling her blood boil even more, young Miss Krebern tried to control herself by clenching her fists along her sides. She had after all been taught that the best vengeance was the one obtained through patience and planning. So that one could truly bask in the unhappy misery and suffering from those one wanted to take everything from. Then a burning sensation washed over her left arm. A blaster bolt had successfully hit her hot into her upper arm making her almost curse in pain that changed into an angry growl. Her eyes swiftly looked at where the shot came from and a danged slaver had caught her when she wasn't concentrating... That would be his first and last mistake however, as she quickly reached out with her right arm, pulling the man carelessly through the thin air directly to her through the Force. Her dark green eyes wickedly glaring into his very soul, his body and face revealing pure panic, before she took his blaster and shot him straight in the heart up close. The sizzling hole gave off some smoke and Abigail felt her anger overtake her for a moment as she then by mere instinct thrusted her left hand through his chest all by the aid of the Dark Side of the Force, clutching her fist around what there was left of his heart before pulling out her hand with the heart. Her right hand waved to the right in a swift motion and off he was into the deep dark waters below. Turning her hand upside down, she dropped the heart in front of her before looking at the creature once again.
Alas the reality was right now that Abi had to get through new challenges to get to Evelyn's position. Taking a deep breath she looked the creature up and down as it spoke with a raspy voice, its features resembling somewhat of a smile, which to her seemed strange. What was more concerning was the fact that through the Force she could not sense this creature, it was as if it didn't exist to her. No life string through the Force, nothing. Even when the blonde called forth upon the Dark Side of the Force to do her bidding and help her, there was no sign of this monster. However, she did have a slight feeling that he knew her sister well in a way.
"If you are really here to help, then please be useful already... I am here to help my sister from these slave traders and right now I have cleared most of them to the path to my beloved sister, however more advanced people seem to want her as well. No one gets to try and hurt my sister, no one..." Almost too obvious of her envy towards Evelyn, the blonde's dark green eyes glared in the direction that Evy had decided to hide. "As soon as she is out she and a young fellow needs our assistance against those pros. They need a way out of here. You think you can help with that? My water scooter only have room for one person you see." Her eyes glared almost impatiently at the Dashade, but she had no idea what Varn was. The real question was though if she could trick the beast to help her hunt for her sister to become easier, or if she would have to use her telekinetic abilities to remove him from her path for revenge as well... That all depended on what the Dashade chose.
In the meantime Evelyn Swann had been lucky enough to enter the room the Force had guided her to. All of her things were there, so she did a quick change behind some crates, thankful that her training outfit was still on her being. It only took her a few minutes to get hold of all of her things and get her real attire back on. Looking concerned at Adar, Evelyn smiled softly. "You have a fire within you that is pure, never let that fire burn out no matter the pressure or situation. You have found your call whether you know it or not. But I know that you can sense it, feel it through you like a distant calling. Even though my sister attacked you and wounded you to an extent, you are still doing your utmost to see the good in her by not really wanting to hurt her but feeling forced to do so if there is no other way. That my friend, is what a true hero does and think like. Always. You should be proud of yourself." Walking towards Adar she fumbled with one of her belt pouches underneath her slightly worn grey-ish robes. Resting in her left hand was a med kit which she gestured for Adar to take. "This should take off the worst until we are safely away from here." Miss Swann added in a serious tone before equipping her blaster pistol and drawing her vibrosword.
"I have taken one myself as well. Should give us a small boost. Let's have a look at the new company you speak of on the other side of this door shall we? I have a worried feeling coming from my connection to the Force, so please be careful and stay close to me alright?" Approaching the thick metal door, she could sense the darkness, but she was ready. She refused to run any longer. Young Miss Swann was ready to encounter this foe and one way or the other her and Adar would find a way out and away from all the hostility. Evelyn simply had to trust in the way of the Force as she had been thus far. The Light Side had always guided her, to teach her important lessons and she was sure that this was another one of those lessons.

Her prey was just on the other side of this door. A first taste of the hunt in her new job. She could taste the chase on her teeth, and hungered for the blood rage. But it would not serve her here. Here she had to play it smart, and she needed to take this Jedi alive, not tear out her lungs and eat them.
Simple process.
The door swung ominously open, and Emic stepped through, blaster rifle at her side and pistol in her hand. Her demeanor was calm, contained, but it hid a lust for war and death. If there ever was a serial-killer personality, it was on display right here.
"Oh, I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?" she teased with a gentle smile, but the villainy in her eyes burning red. "You led me on a chase, but I'm afraid you've been caught."
She slowly leveled her blaster at the head of Adar, and flashed a friendly grin at Evelyn, keeping it up through her offer. "You're coming with me, girlie, and I'm afraid I can't take no for an answer. If you try to refuse, I'll simply have no choice but to make pretty art with your friend's entrails." Emic's tone did not fit her threats; were it only for the tone of her voice and the smile on her face, and not for the evil in her eyes and the content of her speech, she would seem almost pleasant.
She awaited the response, whether it would be the easy way, or, as she secretly preferred, the difficult way.

Varn was caught off guard by the series of events that played out once he landed on the lower deck. The woman showed off a series of Force abilities that gave her the air of an experienced Force user but the way she used them did not line up with the Jedi ways. Her hand now dripped with the blood of the sentients smoldering heart causing Varn to have a brief flash back to his days with the Shadow Killers. As the woman began to speak and reveal her relation to Evelyn Swann, Varn began to nodded, her tone and actions spoke of a darker intent then what her words portrayed.
While she continued Varn’s earpiece crackled to life. “Ranger Badaash, the Silver Mynock has entered orbit and should be here within the next half hour,” the voice of his droid rung in his ear. Varn gave no response as to not let Abigail know he was in contact with someone.
“Ah you must be Abigail,” Varn replied as she finished her list of requests. “I’m an old friend of your sisters, and yes I have a way off this tanker.” He extended his armored hand, “I’m Varn by the way, pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.” Little would the sister know the extended hand was the one that held his charged stun gauntlet. While he knew Evelyn was seeking Abigail, Varn wasn’t willing to put trust in her with the show of force she just committed and the tones she used, he thought it best to incapacitate her, find Evelyn and then learn more about what’s going on.
Varn hoped that Abigail would fall for the Dashade’s minor deception because he still did not wish to actually fight his friends lost sister.

Adar couldn't help but smile upon hearing Evelyn's kind words. They were certainly inspiring, and Adar's passion grew brighter. That was a much needed boost as their situation was interesting, to say the least. He happily accepted the med-kit that Evy offered, and its application relieved some of the pain and stress he was experiencing. After that, he gestured in compliance of her command to stay close to her, his blaster ready in his right hand, and his trust was put fully in himself and Evelyn. They would get out of this nightmarish situation, even if a few lives needed to be lost.
It was then that the door swung open slowly, and a person walked in. To Adar's surprise, it wasn't Abigail. It was someone else. Damn, I thought Abigail would have made short work of anyone else attempting to get to us. This one must be dangerous to get this far, he thought. But before he could even react, Emic had already leveled her blaster at Adar's face, making him freeze on the spot. He was no fool. He could see that this woman was not messing around. She would indeed make art off of Adar's entrails, and she would enjoy it. Adar hoped Evelyn would come up with some sort of plan, as in the situation he was in he had very limited options.
"I would normally try to talk you out of this or offer up a bargain, but I sense you would refuse. You seem determined as that... no, he wasn't as scary as you."
Adar stopped himself from talking right there. Or rather, something stopped him from talking about his encounter with the Sith Assassin he had on Naboo. His logic stated that it wasn't relevant and it would provoke the menacing woman. His gut ,however, sent him signals of fear and anger. Adar didn't quite know what to make of that, though at this point suspected that the Force was somehow involved. Now all he could do was wait to see how Evy would act.

Re: Facing Demons (Open)
Abigail quirked a brow when the creature spoke and extended his arm to greet her. How peculiar that it was so friendly yet seemed as if it could devour the whole ship in mere minutes if its powers were unleased. The blonde thought about what she once had told her dear cousin about using others for her own gain, and thought that this monstrosity could help her get to her sister faster than if she had to do it on her own. Immediately bringing up a fake smile, Abi reached out her hand to return the handshake, only to feel a little too late through the Force the danger that suddenly cursed through her being. Every muscle in her body felt the constant current darting through from the gloved hand of the creature paralyzing her, making Abi clench her teeth as her body tensed before feeling numb and crumbling to the cold deck underneath her feet. Abigail had been tricked! How preposterous! How dared it make a fool of her like this?! The creature had a thing or two coming as soon as she was able to regain her mobility. She would make sure that his death was slow and painful for this trickery… Alas, soon darkness seemed to consume the blonde young lady and she couldn't fight it.
As the door slowly swung open Evelyn felt the Force warn her just seconds before a Zabrak woman moved through. She was ready, with narrowed brows she moved closer to Adar as slowly but swiftly as possible, as the woman's energy through the Force seemed ominous and only here for trouble. Her tone as she addressed them was sweet but her words were with malicious content. What confused Evelyn the most, was the fact that this stranger was after her and seemed to want to use Adar as her bargaining chip. This outcome had brought much fear and anger in Adar, which Evy could sense through the Force as soon as the feelings occured. This lady thought that things would be an easy walk in the park and that they would just obey without any common sense? Not on Evy's watch. The brunette was merely a few feet from Adar and had too brought up her own blaster pistol aimed at the woman's head as she immediately stepped in front of Adar. Her hazel orbs stared intently at their new enemy, with her posture confident and not moving an inch away from standing between Adar and this... hunter? He was under her protection, and they would get to the Jedi, end of story.
"I am sorry, but usually one invites you out for dinner first before bringing up such demands as yours. Also, I am sure you are capable of making fine art with entrails, I have no doubt, but, I must sadly disappoint you today however. His body is not for art, and he will not be harmed, furthermore am I not obligated to go with you, so this can happen one of two ways darling. You can leave now and we won't speak of this again, or you can have a hard time to escape this ship, understand?" Miss Swann's voice and tone was quite stern as it was brave and determined. Threats did not sit well with her on this level. This woman was not Sith, no, but… something emanating from her very being let Evelyn know to an extent that she was with them one way or another, it was just something she could feel from the many different strings within the Force itself surrounding them and doing their utmost to guide her through this. With her connection to the Light Side of the Force open, she could sense her sister's thread not being as strong as it was previously, as well as a familiar presence nearby, making her bring up a small smirk at the Zabrak.
Taking a slow deep breath, the brunette readied herself to get in a fight with this stranger, then make a run for it. Not taking her eyes off of the woman, she addressed Adar swiftly. "Listen, and listen well, you needn't worry. I sense friends nearby. When you can, head towards my sister. Don't argue, just do it." Her eyes continued to pierce right through the woman standing further away in front of her and their way out. It was now or never. She trusted in the Force, and she had to be quick with every decision she made from now on. Squeezing the trigger on her blaster pistol, Miss Swann started the fight off with a few blaster shots fired right past the womans head, as it continued behind her and hit some metal canisters close to the entrance. The heat and pressure from the plasma connecting with the metal, dented and punctured one of the canisters, setting off a chain reaction of explosion from all three of them. The pressure from the blast as well as the shrapnels was one thing that came straight after the explosion, another was the thick smoke from the fire that had started to slowly spread from the leftovers of the metal canisters. Evelyn knew the outcome of this choice, so as soon as she had fired, the Jedi Padawan put away her blaster. She would only be in need of her sword now, and with a hand free she pressed on her belt buckle activating her personal energy shield to do what she could to protect both herself and Adar behind her. Sharp metal shrapnels could do quite the injury to soft texture, skin was no different, and Evy had no intention of putting Adar more in harms way.
Luckily from her quick reflexes obtained through her connection to the Force, Evelyn had managed to make sure Adar was unharmed during the explosion further away from them, but her faithful shield hadn't been able to keep it up one hundred percent and had been broken. And even though she had used the vibrosword to deflect a good amount of the metal flying towards her, it still hadn't been enough. Evelyn could feel the pieces of metal that squirmed against her skin leaving small bleeding cuts and wounds upon her being. Some spread over her thighs, some across her arms and some near her ribs. It hurt like a cursed bantha, and she mostly wanted to scream out in pain, but she knew it could have been much, much worse.
Though there was no time to waste, they had to move, this little stunt could only have bought them a few minutes tops to get further away from the Zabrak hunting them. Her breathing had increased from the pain, but she clenched her teeth and forced herself forward, pulling in Adar's sleeve to get him in front of her and through the door so they could get the heck away. Every second now was precious, as Evy had a feeling that this woman wasn't easily shunned, even after such an explosive distraction. Evelyn could feel the determination from her, and that she was strong, they had to get away from that lady, now.
Unable to run from her injuries, Evelyn moved as fast as her legs could carry her out of the room right behind Adar and back towards her sister. To see the friendly face of the Dashade, Varn Badaash further up ahead, brought relief to her worried heart. Help was here, they could make it. With her sword in her right hand, and her left wrapped around her ribs from the pain and to put some pressure on her wounds, she made sure to bring as much distance to the woman as possible as she knew, the Zabrak would come after them ten folds angrier than before and thus ten times more dangerous...
As Emic clawed her way up to her feet, she felt the trickling of liquid down her back. It was no matter. The chase was on, after all.
Her comlink still worked, although it seemed to crackle a lot. "Acre, have you secured the upper deck?"
"Crew's expended, Chief," came from her wrist.
"Good. Start closing in on our guests. And don't let our target escape."
With that, Emic began making her way back out to the top deck. Her soldiers began to break cover and slowly close in, finishing off some crew here and there as the gunfire died down. They approached slowly, toward the Force user and the big guy.

As the woman hand was enveloped by the Dashade’s armored one the gauntlet activated, a buzzing sound filling the air between them and a small blue pulse emanated from their joined hands. Varns outside appearance didn’t change but he smiled inwardly as the potentially dangerous force user fell unconscious. He detached the rappeller from his belt and hooked it on to his unconscious threat.
“MC,” he spoke into his comm as he lifted Abigail over the railing. “I’ve incapacitated a target, they will be hanging off the port side of the vessel, bring the hover van over and retrieve them, I believe I’m close to Padawan Swann and may need a quick exit.”
“Of course Ranger Badaash,” the metallic voice replied. “I should inform you that I retrieved the damaged forms of those you fought and they are now laying subdued aboard. One of them is clearly well equipped and shows signs of being part of an elite and organized military group. If they are all as equipped as this one then we may need to pull back till the Silver Mynock is within range.”
“I’m close MC, get ready to pull Miss Swann, myself and a third individual off this vessel.”
“Affirmative, I will inform Captain Alim.”
Varn turned around after making sure that Evelyn’s sister was secure just in time to see a young man running in his direction, more importantly to the Ranger was Evelyn behind him. She was injured and had her weapon out causing Varn to relift his rifle. “Padawan Swann!” He called out as he saw the yet unidentified third party come around the corner after her. His large finger slipped down to the trigger and released several aimed shots past Adar and Evelyn in an attempt to force the threat to go for cover.
Adar would probably be the first to note the sudden sound of repulserlifts coming from above as MC was starting to bring the armored van around. The enemy had the numbers at current but hopefully the armored vehicles heavy cannon would dissuade them from pushing their luck.

"When you can, head towards my sister. Don't argue, just do it."
But he wanted to argue,a lot. The temptation was there, begging him. But instead, he backed off slowly, but once Evelyn fired those blaster shots at those canisters, he quickly realized what she was doing. This was insane and too big of a risk, but finally Adar did as Evy commanded before. He run towards where he thought was her sister, but now stood only the Dashade. Looking around, he did eventually spot her hanging in the ship's railing behind Varn. Good riddance, Adar thought. As he got closer, the dashade opened fire. For a second, he thought him hostile, and he decided to slide across the floor to avoid the shot. Only as he exited the slide and took a look behind him did he notice the hostile squad. They were not part of the crew, now almost all lied dead aboard this wretched vessel. He took aim at them with his blaster, though they were too far away for his shots to be effective. Nonetheless, he did open fire, if nothing else to stop their advance towards what was now a wounded Evelyn.
He spoke to the dashade, in order to ensure he was with them, and to make it clear that Adar was not a threat.
"I am Adar Bolner. I am with Jedi Padawan Evelyn Swann. I assume you are her back up?"
It was then that Varn's armored van came to view, its repulserlifts burning as high as they could. This was their escape. Now, all they had to do was get Evy out of there. These people had the same ferocity as the Sith. Were they trained by them? Were they allied with them? So many questions. But escape first, questions later. Speaking towards Varn: "Evelyn is wounded. I'll try to get close to help her move". And as his words left his mouth, Adar was shocked. He had just spotted the Zabrak. Her eyes burning with the fury of a thousand suns. Her wounds did little to slow her down.
Why are thing never easy? he mused unto himself, letting off a sigh.

"The universe is infinitely complex, but my purpose is clear."
