Re: Fall of Tion
Jedi Rainwalker stopped for a moment where he was, closing his eyes and reaching out into the endless, otherworldly spiritual network of light and good that was the Ashla. Probing. Seeking. (Foresight/Precognition)
... Gain the knowledge you desire!... ... Old friends, long gone... ... Twin Suns... ... Oblivion!... ... Coruscant, the moldering core...
Cerulean blue eyes snapped open, clouded yet determined. He had sought an answer in the Force, and as always, he had not been let down. His exceptional foresight was an acknowledged gift even amongst the Jedi. He knew the interpretation of the vision by instinct: two powerful light-siders shall clash against the dark side near the core, or rather, the heart - in this case, of the vessel:
The Bridge.
The future may always be in motion but at least Annan knew where he should be going. Annan continued through the service crawlways, now fully certain about where he needed to be.

Re: Fall of Tion
By the time Silas Karn made his way onto the Bridge, Annan Rainwalker was already in its ceiling, within the crawlways.
“Slay the lot of them and then seal the bridge. We will cleave this vessel from their fleet!”
Sensing the incoming presence, Annan ignited his lightsaber, carving a circle in the floor, or ceiling of the bridge rather, before swooping down to land on the central walkway, between Silas and the viewport, the circular piece of ceiling landing with a resounding clang.
Only then did the Jedi drop his Force Mask.
“Hello there, Mister Stick-Up-My-Sithhole. Just thought I'd pop in to remind you that the only thing that needs cleaving here is your overgrown ego. Oh, and sorry about your Interceptor. Not really, though.”
Standing up straight, the black-robed Jedi smirked at the Sovereign, twirling his green light blade as it buzzed and singed the air around it.
The trained and veteran bridge crew of the Liberty, including the Rebel Troopers providing security to them, would take the Jedi's arrival as their chance to engage Nil for the safety of the bridge crew. A rather quick-witted Rebel Trooper fired at the blast door control panel, quickly destroying it and preventing the doors from being sealed mechanically. That would at least allow the nonessential bridge crew to escape safely, while the titans clashed. It would also allow the Jedi to force the Sovereign out.
The Liberty was going nowhere.

**Waypoint Besh**
**Keldabe-class Battleship The Azure Wind**
All vessels of Cresh Fleet dropped out of hyperspace around The Azure Wind at the coordinates that had been designated Waypoint Besh. Detachment Besh immediately reported all operations complete around their assigned navigation buoys and were already maneuvering to take their positions with the fleet. The pirate fleet had been fortunate thus far to avoid any Sith patrols, but it was not for lack of effort. Admiral Idris had utilized all resources at her disposal to scout ahead and ensure that the operation did not hit any of the Sith fleet elements within the Gordian Reach. On top of that, the operation had relied upon a strict timetable in order to slip in and out of their designated waypoints. Error or just plain bad luck could yet befall the fleet, but they were so close to obtaining their initial goals that even the Ithorian admiral couldn't help but feel the anticipation boiling up in all four of her throats. Once all ships were in position, Cresh Fleet made another jump to hyperspace and the coordinates designated as Waypoint Besh were left behind as if the pirates had never been there in the first place.

Moments later, the turbolift came to a halt and the Galactic Alliance trooper manually hit the door controls to open the lift to the Liberty's medical bay. With weapon pulled up to his shoulder, the trooper looked out from the turbolift. All was eerily silent within the medbay, and there were no sentients in immediate sight from the threshold of the lift, yet there appeared to be no damage to any of the facilities.
"Stay here," the trooper advised the pilot, suspicion in his voice, "Maybe they've all taken shelter... but maybe not."
The pilot looked to be hardly able to stand on their own two feet, let alone wander off. It was safe to say that they would remain in the turbolift.

**Hyperspace, Enroute to Barison System**
**Keldabe-class Battleship The Azure Wind**
"Okay people," Admiral Idris called once she had been informed of the time until the fleet was due to drop out of hyperspace, "Remember, once we drop out of hyperspace, we need speed and efficiency. No mistakes, we're in and out on this jump and the next. No delays whatsoever."
The Barison system was deemed relatively safe by the scouts that had passed through beforehand. The system's inhabitants had sworn off technological progress, and the lack of infrastructure on the system's main inhabited world mean that there was a higher probability that the Sith either hadn't had the time to invest significant infrastructure into the system, or had not developed it at all and instead opted to utilize it strictly for its aquaculture. Still, with that in mind, it was entirely possible that the pirates had misjudged the system altogether, which meant jumping into the system quickly and jumping out of the system even more quickly were essential.
Navigation counted down and, at their mark, The Azure Wind reverted to realspace along with every other ship of Cresh Fleet. Admiral Idris urged navigation to keep working on calculating the next jump. Within a matter of minutes, the coordinates for the next jump had been calculated. Satisfied with the solution, Admiral Idris gave the order to jump to their next waypoint, the Usta system.

The pilot slumped against the wall of the turbolift as they took a moment to gather themselves. The impact against the Liberty's main viewport had injured them, but to what extent they could not be certain. Falling into unconsciousness was a concern, and they steeled themselves as much as possible in order to keep from losing their awareness. Deep breaths were the only sound that filled the turbolift as the pilot waited on the Galactic Alliance trooper to return and assist them into a bacta tank. Despite this, the pilot's mind began to swim, and the pilot's spatial awareness of the turbolift began to fade away...
Until a volley of blaster rifle fire screamed from across the medical bay and the sound of blaster bolts slamming against durasteel and other, more fragile, medical equipment reverberated through the entire floor of the medical bay. The smell of burning and ozone filled the air, and the pilot, now very much aware of their surroundings, lunched for the turbolift controls. As the door slid closed, the panel indicated that this particular turbolift was a dedicated line directly linked to the bridge, and as a result, the lift was headed back to its origin point just outside the bridge.

Re: Fall of Tion
**Hyperspace, Enroute to Usta System**
**Keldabe-class Battleship The Azure Wind**
Cresh Fleet was once more on the verge of emerging from hyperspace, this time in the Usta system. Usta, the most notable world within the system, was a former mining world whose surface had been stripped away by mining. Its environment now toxic and poisonous, continued operations on the world were reduced to nil, according to the last information that the fleet had for reference. As a result, it was unlikely that the Sith had bothered to invest any resources in developing Usta in the relatively short time that the world was under their domain. Scouts had reported no interference by Sith patrols, and so when Cresh Fleet dropped out of hyperspace, they expected no surprises and to be able to calculate their next jump to lightspeed immediately.
"Reverting to realspace now, Admiral," navigation reported, and the stars outside the viewport stretched momentarily before slamming back into pinpricks of light against the dark backdrop of deep space.
Time once more of the essence, Admiral Idris urged the bridge crew to get the coordinates of their next jump calculated. This, of course, required a delicate touch, as too much pressure would inevitably result in a mistake, but too much leniency would result in Cresh Fleet sitting idle for too long and attracting the attention of Sith patrol or, worse, fleet element. Admiral Idris mentally counted the seconds away, and in more or less the same amount of time as their last stopover, navigation reported that the coordinates were prepared. Giving the work a final review, Idris was satisfied, particularly since this was a more complicated jump than the one from the Barison system. At her signal, the fleet jumped to hyperspace once more for the anchor leg of their journey. Cresh Fleet would establish an operating presence within the next system, where they would remain, sheltered by a natural phenomenon and lying in wait where they could watch any and all approaching traffic and decide whether or not to pounce like an acklay hunter on its prey.

**MC90 Heavy Cruiser Liberty**
The pilot attempted to shut out the dizzying vibrations that threatened to overwhelm them as the lift tube maneuvered to its default home within the bridge's turbolift bay. Instead, the pilot focused inward in an effort to overcome their unknown-- yet undoubtedly present-- injuries. With this focus, the pilot centered their breathing and felt the pain melt away after a few moments. It would take some doing, but with a little more time, they were beginning to believe that they could overcome the effects of their unusual entrance on the Liberty until they could receive the medical attention they required.

Re: Fall of Tion
**The Cometwash System**
**Keldabe-class Battleship The Azure Wind**
Cresh Fleet exited hyperspace once more in full view of the system's primary, a blue giant star. The sensor array aboard The Azure Wind immediately picked up on numerous signals, but they were immediately identified as swarms of comets traveling throughout the system. This was the main feature of this otherwise uninhabited system. Its proximity to the nebulous soup known as The Roil meant that almost all traffic through this system consisted of either sightseers getting a glimpse at the comet swarm's icy tails, or spacers and transport convoys who wanted to double check their coordinates before proceeding any further along the route that bordered The Roil. The former group, Cresh Fleet would obviously ignore. To have the luxury of sightseeing within the heart of Sith territory was virtually unfathomable, anyway. The latter group would be Cresh Fleet's lifeline, as that would be how the raiders intended to arm, fuel, and feed themselves as they conducted operations within the Gordian Reach. Of course, not every convoy would be preyed upon. Those that were deemed too low of value would be allowed to pass unmolested. This was the beauty of Admiral Idris' plan.
The navigation buoys strategically tampered with throughout their journey into the Gordian Reach served two purposes. When a ship normally approached a navigation buoy, its navigation computer would ping the buoy for automatic coordinate data. The pirates had sliced into these buoys to receive a report each time a vessel pinged the navigation buoy, thus indicating to them the location and number of vessels of traffic within the lanes of the Gordian Reach. This was but one purpose; the other was to serve as an early warning system for an incoming fleet element in the event that the pirate fleet had been detected. If the pirates were forced to flee, due to inadequate supplies or otherwise, they would be well informed if the Sith intended to enact a pincer movement and trap them for a fleet engagement.
For now, Idris would sit tight with the majority of the fleet and get in position to begin operations. The point was to keep the Sith off balance as to their intent, disposition, and location. There would be no bold moves in this deadly dance; Idris intended to play it slowly and carefully as she accumulated her prizes.

Buggie was so focused upon his body's own healing that he hardly registered the doors to the turbolift opening. As his senses flooded back to him as he snapped out of his trance, Buggie became aware to the events surrounding him. He poked his head out of the turbolift just in time to see a silver maned Force user-- no doubt the enemy wrecking havoc aboard the Liberty-- purposefully stride toward the flagship's bridge from the corridor, accompanied by a deadly looking battle droid. Out of nowhere, a blade sliced through the ceiling of the corridor and interrupted the enemy's path, as a red hot disc of durasteel fell into the corridor. Atop it, an armor clad individual, with black robes covering their outfit, landed from within the ductwork of the corridor's ceiling. For a brief moment, Buggie was started and thought to himself that surely this dark-clad individual must be the one who had caused so much distress aboard the ship. He reached toward the leg of his blue flight suit for his blaster, but was once again reminded that he had permitted it to float away after ditching from his starfighter.
It was in that moment that he felt the presence of the newcomer and felt an immense wave of relief flow over him. This was a trained Force user. The newcomer's presence was much more comforting to Buggie than that of the almost sickly pale man who was accompanied by the droid. Perhaps Buggie knew him, but from this distance and from his vantage point from within the turbolift, he couldn't be certain.
Buggie was unarmed and injured, but it was apparent that he needed to involve himself into this situation somehow. Perhaps, if fortune were on his side, he could sneak up behind the enemy and neutralize them before they powered their way onto the bridge. He might get killed in the process, he knew, but he was still standing after colliding with the main viewport of an armed, operational, and maneuvering capital ship, so that at least made him feel decent about his chances.
Buggie crept out from the turbolift and silently stalked up behind the droid and the silver-haired intruder. He let out a slow, steady breath as he drew near, hardly unable to contain the tension within his body...

Re: Fall of Tion
Among the Stars…
Smoke rolled off of the bright orange and yellow heated durasteel. The High Priest of the Red Cauldron was unphased by the suddenness of the reveal. There was not much that took him by surprise these days. Learning a Jedi was to interfere with his plans was more annoyance than anything to the Sovereign. Pointed words shot at the Echani Lord and so the Sith slowly turned to regard his… foe. His regal head canted to the side, he was more curious and perhaps even intrigued by this happening. The Echani did not respond to this child though if he wished to play with that which was beyond his comprehension then the Sovereign would not keep a young man from his doom.
With the suddeness of Annan Rainwalker’s own appearance the bridge crew dove for cover and officer drew their sidearms to unleash as much scarlet red firepower at the Assassin Droid as they possibly could. In retaliation the droid snapped off an impossibly accurate shot taking one of the defiant officer’s square in the chest. Retreating to cover the droid was already maneuvering to take down its next target, these bridge hands stood little chance in stopping such a top tier unit such as Nil. The bravest of the crewmembers even rushed to theirs or really any station, regardless of what was going on inside the MC90 there was a battle going on outside too and the Task Force still needed coordination.
The Exar Dreadnought Moraband came too and delivered a punishing salvo against the Liberty’s port side, in this close proximity the overlapping shield arrays did little to stop the batteries from punishing the elegant curves of the Heavy Cruiser. Sith BTL-A4 Y-wings streaked by the bridge viewport pursued by Alliance RZ-1 A-wing Interceptors. Massive payloads of ordinance capable of leveling entire city blocks were exchanged between the two ships as point defense turrets intercepted them and E-wing Interceptors swept through the heavy traffic between the two titanic warships.
To the Sovereign, it was but a mildly amusing setting where men of less fortune dueled and died for causes he cared so little about. The smooth casual way that the Echani poised himself took Annan aback. What opponent did not bother to prepare even a basic ready stance? Already troubled coming into this fight, he was now largely confused. Was this not his mortal enemy rather than a friendly meeting between two old pals? His previous bluster vanished as he felt that there was so much that was off about this platinum haired fiend. Carefully Rainwalker began to approach, his emerald green blade holding steady before him.
Silas Karn… or rather the Lord Sovereign, turned now and fully faced his so-called opponent. He hooked his thumbs into the loops of his belt at the buckle and tilted his chin upwards, before he regarded this fool with a response, now he was bored.
For Rainwalker’s position he was not about to allow a Sith Lord to remain. He bolted and fell into a somersault which rolled his saber around and up, coming down to Sovereign’s left shoulder. The strike was swift and precise. Silas never bothered to move. Twin angry red blades crossed and interceded to catch the green between them. Annan’s momentum was violently stolen and his eyes could not believe what he was seeing. Two lightsabers manipulated by no one at all not only blocked his attack but had the strength behind them to rob an opening strike of Ataru. Sovereign did not smile, he was no longer amused.
Breaking apart the blades swept around and came at Annan from directions impossible by a single opponent or even a number of standing opponents. They came low from awkward angles, they came high from behind and thrust with speeds he had not experienced before. Immediately Rainwalker was set to the defensive. It was not logical to duel against nothing! His parries were accepted and where he may have riposted or countered there was no opposing weight behind the enemy blades, nothing to shove off of, nothing to appropriately block against. Where once he blocked a saber, it seemingly rolled around his own and flipped upwards. Annan had to backflip away to avoid being filleted wide open and only his keen senses and reflexes allowed him to swipe two additional in his defense while he was still in midair.
He landed perfectly but had to dip and weave away from the next set before finally catching his opponent’s saber and knocking it away, or so he tried. Batting the saber away only allowed it to recoil unnaturally around to thrust downward at his thigh. Blocking again he pivoted and blocked behind him during an orbit of his saber to parry again in front of him.
Sovereign sighed dejectedly and turned away from his foe. In that moment Master Buggie stretched his hand outward and one of Silas’ remaining lightsabers was ripped from its position on his back and so the Sovereign completed his turn just in time to obtain full view of a very stealthy Verpine Jedi Master. Red light erupted and speared outwards aimed for Silas’ right pectoral, unable to react in proper swordsman-like conduct the Echani tapped into his rich heritage as an Echani Battlemaster. He wove backwards and away, twisting on his heel, bringing his left hand up he caught the Verpine’s wrist, his right moved with his hips twisting and planted on the Jedi’s elbow. Buggie was summarily hip tossed out and away.
The Verpine Master was almost startled to be so quickly dismissed and somehow, by a means he did not even understand, he felt Silas kick him in the midsection too. Fortunate for his hardened natural armor the Verpine was not relieved of his breath. Impossibly fast Buggie was still in the process of righting himself in the air when a deep purple beam came alive with a very violent snap-hiss. Red to purple the energy blades clashed bright yellow twice in a brilliant succession, finally Buggie’s distance grew and he rotated right-side up to gracefully land on his feet. But there was no time to rest as the Sovereign was on top of the Verpine Master. Triple blows came next, Buggie could not even follow the attacks, he relied on instinct and his senses to guide him. Suddenly he realized that without a doubt that this foe was well beyond a master of his craft.
Nil swept around a terminal, he was met by two officers and the trio spat red fire at each other. Lances blazed through the air, the ozone blurred with heat and sparks burst from terminals and their housing from the near misses. One officer fell, shot in the hip. Nil fell back with a smoldering crater in his chassis at the stomach level though the droid seemed undamaged. In reality the droid’s systems were failing and its stealth generators went down which made this battle more acceptable to the Alliance’s outgunned personnel.
Dueling with twin crimson red swords with no wielder was difficult to say the least though Annan Rainwalker was starting to feel the elegant patterns. It was as if each sword on its own was an element of Makashi. While not an actual duelist behind the sword he was able to see enough to begin properly countering. He took a proper stance now and switched from his Ataru as it was doing him little favors here. He reversed his grip and brought one hand out before him, a ready stance of Form V. A red beam came for him, he wheeled his blade around and struck the red aside with his green, following up he did not allow the red to seek another attempted counter and he caught the lightsaber at the very end of the hilt. Molten red orange exploded from the hilt and both ends were cast away. Annan ducked underneath the second saber, wove away from two swift followups and blocked another set of two dashing strikes.
Standing on his own now versus a single floating blade he was able to more or less balance the fight between offense and defense. As Annan prepared to go back onto the offensive and end this ridiculous fight… if it could be called that… a single scarlet red bolt came spearing right for him. It had taken Rainwalker so much concentration to keep fighting these floating sabers, and his already troubled disposition, he did not sense the incoming assault fast enough and he took the shot in the back at the left shoulder blade. He tucked and rolled with the blast, pain searing through his body, his roll took him underneath a red bladed sweep be that luck or his own skill. Annan rolled to a knee and horizontally lashed out with his green saber knocking a second shot from the air and this time there was no luck involved as his reflected shot nailed the second lightsaber from the sky. It fell with a clatter as a smoldering ruin. Rainwalker dove behind a set of terminals and away from the Assassin Droid.
The exchange between Master Buggie and the High Priest was nothing short of miraculous. Their joint expertise in their Forms shinned as Buggie gave just so much ground that the unrivaled Makashi of Karn could not find penetration to the stalwart defense. Compound eyes missed nothing and he saw literal perfection in the Sovereign’s technique, he doubted severely that the Sith would be slipping up or making a mistake anytime soon. Not to mention the curved style hilt he had pilfered was inevitably going to throw him off. Unwilling to accept this eventuality Buggie decided to change tactics and put this Sith on the defensive.
During a particularly close set where Buggie only just managed to defend a trio of lightning quick strikes he spun away and as his spin rounded back he threw the lightsaber at his foe. The red blade burned the air, the Sovereign lazily parried away the attack but the lightsaber never hit the ground as it was caught by the Echani’s telekinesis. In reaction the Sovereign’s fourth and final lightsaber spread its own red crimson light into the scene and Buggie found himself backing up in the face of two red blades flanking an encroaching Echani Lord.
Silas, knowing for certain that the thrown weapon was a last ditch effort of a defeated opponent, decided he had had enough and lowered his purple blade, he stalked forward, twin reds with their hilts up and red tips angled to aim at Buggie’s neck.
Rainwalker winced, he’d moved his left arm wrong and the sharp pain of that blaster round in his shoulder piqued. He curled the arm up into his stomach and cradled his body, it helped to keep the arm from moving further and it significantly helped him keep his concentration. He had to take a few deep breaths to regain his composure. Once accomplished he turned and jumped over the terminal with his green lightsaber blazing, he expected the Assassin to be there but it was not. Blaster fire cracked at the far end of the bridge and he witnessed another Allaince Navy Officer go down. He also looked to see… a Verpine… in a blue flight suit, about to get skewered. Guiding him to act, he knew the Light would not compel him wrongly. Nil was already moving to egress from the bridge to secure his Master’s escape. Its survival programming had allowed it to determine when a risk assessment suggested failure, the prompt told Nil to break contact… so he had.
The Jedi Knight sped to action. He ran and leapt into the air with aid of the Force behind him and sent a soaring kick for the Echani Lord with his saber held high to come down hard and bisect him as well. The Sovereign backed away and caught the green saber with his own. Red blades descended on Annan but Rainwalker was more practiced with them now and his display from this moment was night and day apart from his initial one. He deftly parried the aerial attacks and bought Buggie the time he needed.
Verpine fingers touched together, a dark purple hue formed between his palms and his hands curled as if molding the air itself. Flashing with a brilliant light a haft was born. Buggie was in motion Sovereign spotted a spear being thrust and he moved to counter properly. But the spear was no spear. It took the form of a trident and it grew to its full length. The shadow weapon speared ahead and tore into Silas’ lower side. The Sovereign hissed and spun aside and so the battle took a sudden pause.
The Sovereign fumed, not at his opponent, but at himself. How could he have left enemies so far below him spill his essence. Impossible!. With a snide comment later the Sovereign righted his stance and delivered a frown to his would-be opponents. He considered the next ways in which he would take them apart.
Buggie and Annan finally had a moment to breathe in which time they recognized one another. Having no time to reminisce or join in a moment away from the chaos, they fed from one another’s aura. The Light of the Force grew in this moment and both Jedi took from this and the clouded thoughts they both were troubled with ceased. A breath of fresh air, an inner strength previously unknown, two Jedi Knights… as one.
Buggie molded his body into a stance befitting this trident, one hand low on the hilt raised high, the other on the midrift aiming the head of the trident low. Annan flourished his saber and poised it out in front of him, his free hand before it in a ready stance akin to a martial artist. Both Jedi belied their tenuous situation and they exuded a silence within the raging storm. A calm peace amid a roiling tumultuous sea.
Sovereign sniffed in disgust at their meddling ways. The simple fact that they were standing in his way was an affront. Could they not simply die as pathetic insects ought!? He was not enjoying their tenacity.
The stalemate over, the Lord Sovereign lashed out, his twin red sabers arcing outwards to further flank the Jedi duo. Both Jedi defensed perfectly and in time with one another. Annan took the offensive and pressed the attack. His advancement may have brought him out of position but the Verpine Master could not have been more perfectly placed and with a swing he slapped the rear red saber from the air and thrust forward just in time and barely missing Annan’s head to intercept an incoming blow from the front. Annan moved in quickly. A glean from the Sovereign’s eyes read the Jedi with expert analysis. The green saber flashed out and the purple caught it, two and a half sets later the Jedi Knight was off balance but Buggie was there, his trident whipping in with speed and precision. Sovereign was forced away and Annan recovered, not to rejoin the attack but to turn and defend, parrying twin red sabers that tried to steal openings into Buggie’s vulnerable flank.
The pair fought in absolute unison. The Sovereign had his open doors slammed shut by… inferior… His anger crushed his cool demeanor of glass and steel. Black bags formed beneath his eyes, Darkside corruption spread and blackened veins ruined the alabaster skin with blotches of ruin.
Moving in the two Jedi came together as one, Sovereign weighed himself against them and slew them a hundred times over in his mind. He should have won! He had to win! He refused to relent. Buggie shot in, the Sovereign parried and riposted into Buggie’s throat but a green saber interjected and brought the purple up, the trident speared to the Echani’s heart though two reds came and closed the opening swiftly. Silas spun around and moved in on Annan, inside the guard. Buggie’s trident haft knocked down a thrust that would have gone into Rainwalker’s stomach… but Silas had anticipated this and he released his primary saber, telekinesis ripped the blade up using the blocking momentum provided by Buggie but instead of flying away the purple saber spun end over and and joined the twin red blades. Flashing through the air the trio caught the Jedi off guard but worse yet the Sovereign went to work and rang the school bell.
His hands butchered the defenses of Annan first, tooling his guard, an elbow to the chest, a backhand to the face and a chop to the throat. The Echani Battlemaster was in no mood for prisoners and he went to execute the Knight, Buggie was defending the saber trio, but he was not so distracted to be unable to extend himself. Spinning his trident he intercepted two sabers, his haft hit the third and the blades of the trident swept in to cut across the Sovereign’s face.
Sensing the impending danger the Echani Lord reflexively acted and as his straight edged hand shot into the larynx of his victim, the hand disappeared in shadow. Buggie’s trident passed through the face of the Echani too and Silas stepped out of the deeper shadows cast by the fires of the bridge.
Not the a foe to fail seeing a battle of futility, the High Priest of the Sith recalled his lightsabers. Annan was still recovering but Buggie saw his chance and he cast his trident at Silas who folded his arms across his chest and stepped backwards… into nothing.
Buggie’s trident speared into the bulkhead and the bridge was suddenly still…
Moment’s later there was report of an escape pod being launched from the deck below the bridge though with so few staff on the bridge itself no one caught the launch.

Re: Fall of Tion
((OOC: Note that on both sides, the system pulled in some "phantom" ships and distributed damage to them. There were three capital ships that got pulled in on the GA side and three fighter units that got pulled in on the Sith side. The Sith side was more complex to figure out, since each fighter unit consists of six squadrons. Needless to say, even if some of the Sith fighters don't look to be disabled, they certainly are. I'm just not going to spend more time adjusting the math so that the post looks pretty. I think we can also call this a conclusive Sith victory. Please note that since these ships and fighter squadrons aren't going anywhere in the SLIU, don't refer to them as "destroyed," just play along with the idea that they're heavily damaged and should not be fighting further if you want.))
((OOC: PS for the Sith: Please set aside Toscan 1st Wing and Toscan 3rd Wing from the Rhen Var Group into a "DO NOT USE" fleet for now. Sal wants to take a closer look at them with Luca.))
