Glit-biter's Paradise. (Adar/Kressara)

Eufornis Major.
"The Garden" Five Star Hotel and Bar.
Dusk…

Lazy hazels watched the bubbles in her champagne rise to the top of the glass while she leaned against the bar, waiting for the keep to cash out her tab. Not that Kressara drank all that much anymore. Prison broke her of any alcoholic dependency she may have had before, but replaced the habit with a harder element.

Spice. Not just the regular stuff either, but glitterstim. It was an attractive looking substance that Kressara refined into a concentrated liquid, injected directly into the bloodstream for maximum effect. This glimmering serum gave it's users a brief, but powerful heightened state of awareness, allowing some to experience the gift of foresight without need of the force. In the right hands this rare variant of common spice could turn a babbling bunch of regular old junkies into a formidable force, which was exactly what she planned to do. During her extended planetary hop out of sith control, Kressara had tested the capabilities of this substance when used long term and discovered that it's negative effects (You know, general lunacy and loss of motor function) could be negated through a strict dosing regimen and use of blood stream cleansing agents. In short, she had created a method for glit-biters to prolong their usefulness by a long shot and kept the secret well enough to give her a massive advantage over the competition on Eufornis Major. Every city had its underbelly, and the smiling sith in white was about to take this one by storm.

It all began with the casino across the road from her hotel. Using a bit of her own private stash for a cognitive boost, Kressara managed to win a sizable chunk of change which she took off planet to a second casino, doubling her money in a game of chance while under the influence, and then again in Bespin. By the time she made her way back to Eufornis the young sith was swimming in credits and ready for phase 2 of her plan: Hiring dealers, junkies, and bribing local authorities into turning a blinde eye as far as sector 11 was concerned. That was where her operations stemmed. Not from one central warehouse, but from individual households, families of the junkies she employed, and businesses she offered protection to, making it difficult to legally stop the activity going on in her little slice of the city without breaking several laws set in place to protect the privacy and freedom of the people.

In a way, the sector was thriving now. Street roaming vagrants were now "functioning" members of a small society within the cityscape. For a sith, her little cartel might not even make it onto the radars of interstellar authorities, or do gooders like the Jedi...that was if she meant it to stop there.

Tab paid, the flaxen haired sith wandered out into the rainy street and hailed a cab. It ferried her to sector 3, a rather unkempt part of the city where shady deals were abundant and crime was rampant, all revolving around one central hole in the wall. Club Euforia's neon sign blinked, coloring the road outside purple, then blue, then red, then green in a perpetual loop. This sort of place had no front man to guard the door. You entered at your own risk and the cover charge was a simple signature over the dotted line of a waver. Once inside Kressara b lined for a table in the very back where her date was waiting. Of course, he wasn't a date, but actually a very prominent political figure from Eufornis Major's elite nobility. He sat twiddling his thumbs, eyes shifting from his drink to the dancers on the floor, to the door, and back again.

"Do you have the credits?" Kressara announced herself with a question and the portly man nearly jumped out of his own skin.

He clutched his drink tighter and aggressively whispered, "They have been sent to the account you specified already! Now do YOU intend to fill this contract or not? I've been waiting here for far too long! Surely someone would have noticed me…"

A flash of teeth meant to look like a smile formed over Kressara's face, though her eyes remained mirthless. "Why of course…Governor Lysander."

At the mention of his title, Lysander let out a snake like hiss and waggled his hand for her silence. He slipped her a data pad and tapped the screen to life which revealed an image of a middle aged man, handsome in a boring suburban sort of way, with brown hair and blue eyes. Kressara recognized him immediately.

"Naughty naughty, sir...you mean to clip out the competition for your seat in office?"

"SHHH!" He urged her, to which Kressara replied, "Relax. The two booths surrounding ours are occupied by my men. We won't be heard over the music...now then. Just to be clear, sir. You want me to kill this man?"

Reluctantly, he nodded. "Yes."

"And in return you will relinquish sector's 11, 3, and 13 to me, as well as a private ship yard to transport my product to and from the planet?"

Even less enthusiastic, he agreed. "Yes."

Kressara's ingenuine smile grew into something of a predatory leer that had Lysander shrinking back against his seat.

"We have a deal then...the authorities will find Grant Brenshot dead in his apartment come morning, one of my men will take the blame for the murder, and you will supply him a comfortable life in prison and pay his family the weekly sum we agreed upon for their trouble. If not, regardless of my survival or the status of my syndicate, my off world affiliates will be coming to collect your collateral...your daughter, Lysander. Force sensitive children go for more than the worth of this entire mission, governor…"

He'd heard enough. "I know! I know...your man will be treated like a king in confinement and his family will never want again. You have my word." This brought a smile to the burly, tattooed near-human in the booth behind him, the man who was giving up his life of hard labor and dangerous mercenary work for a guaranteed security blanket over the people who kept him going.

"Excellent...I look forward to our next meeting, whenever that be, sir."

The platinum blonde rose from her seat and with her the place holders at the tables to their sides. With a flick of her finger towards the door the dangerous looking group with sith apprentice in tow cut through the crowd. Surrounded by junkies turned glit-biter soldiers, Kressara left Euforia behind her and wandered out into the darkening cityscape.

Eufornis Major.
Wandering the streets of sector 10.

A city encompassing the entire planet's surface. They call them ecumenopolis, and Eufornis Major was one of them. Adar wondered how anyone would want to live in such a planet. He was a city kid, for sure, but this was just depressing. Not a single patch of green across millions of kilometres of surface. The few animals that lived here were pets, with most of them being exotic to this world. Billions of people lived here, but not a single one seemed happy walking in the busy streets. They all went about their day, either to work or to shop, or perhaps just to entertain themselves. Yet most of them had that sad-serious look that you have when doing chores you know must be done, but don't really want to do them. At least the kids seemed happy, with them being oblivious to the stress and demands of life. But all of that wasn't really new to him. He had seen them before. What was really shocking to Adar was how many were either poor or on the streets. In every street there were flashing lights and many businesses. This city seemed filled with luxury, yet so many couldn't even afford a decent home. This was an injustice not even the Jedi could make undone. Those in power were too snobby to care about others of lower status. Before his emotions could flare up more, Adar calmed himself. It was after all improper for a Jedi padawan to let his emotions control him.

After an hour of walking, he made it to his hotel. "The Gold Standard". Just a few days here costed thousands of credits. He went to his room, and finally unpacked his backpack. A round drone with a "face" shaped like a flower flew out of the inside of the backpack, almost like it was relieved to finally get some air. "I have to say Master Adar, it is scary inside your backpack". Adar crossed his arms and relaxed his face. "It would have been far more dangerous outside, Ghost. I would have lost you in the crowds, or worse... but let's get ready. We have a long day ahead of us." Adar made sure that Ghost, his flying robotic follower, was recording both audio and video. The Rangers, GA authorities and perhaps the council would surely want to take a look at whatever he finds here.

He was here on a reckon mission, to check for criminal activities and for any potential Sith influence, however unlikely that might be. He was nervous at first, but the council made it clear that sending a more experienced Jedi was dangerous. Most Jedi who undergo these types of missions were already known in the criminal underworld, so they would be spotted far easier that he would be. This was the first time he was out of the Jedi temple since he became a Padawan. And since he had never really left the Outer rim of the galaxy, his name had not traveled at all. Even with all that, investigating potentially criminal enterprises was dangerous. He would have to rely on his wits and his training. Well, at least Ghost was with him, so he wasn't alone. Even if the little droid could not do anything in combat, it was an emotional support for Adar.

He arrived on his hotel in the morning, and shortly after his arrival he left again, cruising around the city, visiting various business to see if they were potential fronts for illicit activities, as well as bars and casinos. By the time the sun set, he had not noticed anything criminal, except for the prices. He had a feeling that from this point onward he would run into something, as he knew that all good deals happen after sundown. And so, he entered sector 3, known for illicit activities.

The jedi padawan combed the streets of sector 3 with hopes of running into something, and one might say he nearly did!

A tatted, thuggish group of men crossed the alley when the largest of the gang whirled to the left and lights flashed the brutish band of merry misfits. The headlights of a city cruiser zoomed past them with a whoosh of air, the very same vehicle that carried Adar throughout the slums. Like some sort of raging giant, the thug shouted out obscenities after the driver and raised his arms with very disrespectful hand signs waving in the air, which the other's copied in turn. Such a ruckus! With the road clear they shuffled onwards and as their ranks thinned an irregular sight among them showed herself. It was a young woman with hazel eyes trained on Adar like a bird of prey. There was friction through the force between them, like oil and water colliding. Their energies would not readily blend together such as the many life forces scurrying throughout the city around them. She trailed behind the gang with a haughty smile aimed at the source of the opposing aura.

She hadn't seen one like him for over a year.

"Don't park that thing where the chop shops will see it!" Kressara hollered and her entourage belted out similar warnings that were far from well meaning.

One last smirk and the group wandered down a neighboring alley. With all luck the Jedi would keep moving. Perhaps he wasn't as perceptive as previous lightsiders had proven to be. Maybe they could go about their business without interference. Just in case though, Kressara thought it wise now more so than before to look less suspicious. Time could be wasted on caution. After all, she did have until sunrise the following day to murder poor old Grant Brenshot, and the night was young! He didn't have a clue, he wasn't a fighter, and he didn't stand a chance. A jedi however, could spell disaster.

"Falon…" She snapped at the near human in her company who responded with his full attention and a serious expression. Kressara jerked her head in the direction of the main road and continued, "He's trouble. Split up. You take the boys directly towards our mark. I'll loop around. On my signal, we break in. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am." He nodded affirmatively, then motioned for the others to follow his lead. Her gang split and left the well dressed blonde to walk alone. Really she preferred it that way. No need for her junkies to get all banged up or apprehended during a scuffle that had nothing to do with them, that was IF the jedi decided to follow her based on the brief moment their force signatures scraped against one another like two bricks gnashing. Kressara strut down the darkened back streets until she came to a collapsed warehouse sporting a sunken in, half burnt roof.

The streets were dark and empty. Quiet. Adar had not expected anything else. Most people would be in their homes at this hour. The only ones out would be some rebellious teenagers... or the kinds of people he was on the lookout for. He noted some drug exchanges happening in some of the alleyways, mostly death-sticks. There were also a few cases of theft, violence, and one case of arson. He noted it all down, while Ghost recorded it.

That all would have been enough for his first day, but then, he run into what looked like a gang of people. They were very rude, but he paid them no attention. Despite their talk, they didn't seem to be a threat. He noted "hooligans" in his notes, and was ready to move along. Well, if they could disperse quicker. They were definitely trying to provoke him, but he would not budge. But what made him jump was her.

An enchanting young woman with blond hair and hazel orbs for eyes. Whether she knew it or not, she stuck out form the rest of the brutish gang members. But his gaze quickly turned into curiosity, as she seemed to stare at him, with an intensity he had never seen in his life. And then... it hit him. It felt like a cold wave or a thorny bush scrapping his very being. It was so intense he actually could not focus on his driving. What is this? Her force presence... unnatural... These were the only thoughts he could muster while continuing to drive ahead. An unspoken clash was happening between them, without anyone else noticing. This woman and her gang eventually were a few meters behind him, and he finally returned to a state of calm. Ghost exited his backpack enclosure and went to face Adar. "Master Adar, are you ok?". Adar smiled when he heard the voice of his little friend. "Yeah, I'm just fine. It's just that... that woman... her presence in the Force was something terrible. Like she was bending it and forcing her will upon It. Polar opposite of all I have learnt." Ghost flickered its shell. "I may not understand this Force master Adar, but I understand that she is trouble." The Jedi padawan nodded in agreement. He needed to check her and this gang of hers out. If this presence was of the Dark Side, he needed to investigate. This would be dangerous, but this could be much bigger than petty thievery. "We are going after them. Continue recording Ghost."

He got out of his car and begun walking towards the direction that the group went. Ghost floated around him. He followed the group from a fairly large distance, mostly by following the woman's echo in the force. But as he moved closer, he could only see the woman. This is not right. Where is she going all alone? I didn't see anyone else split up. Adar did not like this. He didn't even need to consult with the force to know that something wasn't right. It was as if the woman expected him to follow her, and in fact knew he was. This seems like a trap, he thought. A slight smile popped up in his face and he grew determined to follow her. He had developed a moto from all the action movies he had watched when he was younger.

"When you see a trap, spring the trap."

The lone urban wanderer filled her lungs with the coolness of damp night air. His presence in the force was closing the gap between them, as predicted. Such an invigorating way those jedi had about them! Kressara closed her eyes and reached out through her connection to the force, however weak it may have been. She never was very well trained when it came to the living force. The people she served throughout the years had given her scraps of lessons here and there, little pieces of teachings from one darksider to a hopeful young initiate, but nothing extensive in the ways of the force. Not even her former master, Lord Blood. Instead he spoiled her...but those days were gone. The dolefully unwelcome memories began to seep into her thoughts like an alarm going off in her brain.

"Time to take your medicine, you fool." She grumbled to herself.

Now what Kressara was about to do was something both Sith and Jedi alike would almost certainly disagree with. Jedi, because it was wrong obviously, and sith for the fact that her dependencies might be seen as a terrible weakness. She untied the belt of her crisp, clean trench coat and rather than let it drop to the ground, she slumped the jacket over a blown out window with care. Beneath she wore a far more utilitarian, inky black bodysuit than her brilliant white coat suggested. A couple of belts loaded with various tools, pouches, and weapons were slung across her hips. Everything an aspiring wrong doer might need for a successful night of pillaging, plundering, and pilfering! Kressara dipped her hand into the largest pocket on her belt to produce a stimpak of sorts, needle capped and syringe filled with a shimmering silvery liquid. Glitterstim.

Sparing the potentially disgusting details of a glit-biter's rituals, let's just say that Kressara often shot up to dull her attachment to the past and enhance her connection to the present, as well as her bond with the force itself. Glitterstim couldn't create force sensitivity, but it sure did help her focus. A wave of warm, fuzzy, glimmering surf crashed through her veins and earned a deep sigh from the now, well calmed suspect. The world around her became so clear, like someone re-tuning an old monitor. The dark side of the force was incredibly present around her, yet mellow, while his lighter signature approached with an almost mischievous desire to discover her wicked plots. How charmingly story-esque!

Her empty Glitterstim cartridge dropped to the ground with a loud clink before rolling off somewhere. Kress turned to see her stalker to the far end of the opening and slipped her device back into place, then addressed the interesting stranger with a wry smile.

"You know, it's funny isn't it? How our kind tend to seek one another? Makes you wonder if fate is real, sometimes." Fate. It wasn't something she held any stock in. If fate were real, then her son would be alive.

Kressara spoke eloquently for someone who just injected a full dose of brain stimulants directly into her bloodstream only seconds prior, but she made no move to bring herself closer.

"You're a jedi, aren't you? You look the part...I met one of yours once. Nice fellow. Personally I never had much hatred for your people. You're polite, quiet, and usually meddling during convenient hours. Not tonight, but usually."

She reached for her belt again. This time it wasn't a syringe, but a vibroblade which she drew from her hip.

"What can I do for you?"

Adar approached with care. Ghost looking around him in order to spot potential others waiting to jump his master. At some point, Adar spotted the young lady, who had stopped near an old, decrepit warehouse. She seemed busy with... something. He couldn't make it out in the dimly lit area she was in. Well, whatever it may have been, he wasn't backing down now. The young man signaled for Ghost to stay close and to stay safe. For just one moment, he wondered if he was just harassing some innocent lady, but the Force was telling him otherwise and he wasn't going to doubt that. He moved in closer...

He was a bit stunned when she turned to address him. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw something rolling away down the street, but he elected to stay focused on her. She was rather calm, deadly calm. She spoke like she would to a friend, but her intentions were far from friendly. The young Jedi was surprised to be recognized as such by his appearance, though the cloak and hood, as well as the clothes beneath did resemble a Jedi, though most people didn't seem to know or care. It was a mostly black and brown cloak, with a few lines of red in the hood, and what looked like a pixely white ace of spades on his shoulders.

Adar let the woman finish what to him were ramblings before responding. Seeing her draw her blade, he calmly opened his backpack and his little droid companion went inside. He closed it, dropped his hood and looked at the woman now identified as Sith. Though he was serious up until now, he formed a gentle smile before speaking.

"And here I was thinking I was harassing a young lady in the middle of the night. But you are far from innocent. I presume you are with the Sith? For I too met one of yours a while back. They weren't kind and calm like you. Which is somehow more unnerving."

He took one step forward. He made sure his weapons were ready. Vibroblade on his right hip, blaster on the other. He hoped that she would just back down. But that was wishful thinking. She had already drawn her weapon. In defense? To strike him as he approached? He did not know. But he hoped she would continue to be talkative. Something about her saying "meddling during convenient hours. Not tonight, but usually" made the Jedi padawan suspisious. Perhaps she had a plan, a mission or something else in her mind. Or perhaps she was just innocently here to cause chaos for her Order. The young miss was standing right before him, yet her group was nowhere to be seen.

"So, where's your gang of miscreants? Waiting to jump from the shadows? You could not have possibly come here alone, knowing thanks to our friction in the Force that I followed you." Unless you wanted to fight me one on one, he thought. His weapons still by his sides. If she were to tell him enough, he could prevent a fight here and perhaps save innocents. And saving innocent people far outweighed a minor victory over a Sith. That was the Jedi way.

Just the mention of her "unnerving" personal calm widened the cheshire smile curling her glitter stained lips and when asked whether she was Sith or not, the oddly passive darksider took a low, sweeping bow with her blade pointed behind her and her hair grazing the warehouse steps between them. She had quite the audacity.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance!" Her words were jovial, yet she maintained a hold on that serrated vibroblade even as she rose to her full height, which wasn't much to gawk at. "Not very do gooder of you, harassing a young lady in the dark of night! Are you sure you're one of the good guys? Seems a lot to me like you're the aggressor here, not that I mind."

She extended her foot to the step below and let free an indignant chuckle when questioned as to the whereabouts of her boys.

"Such nefarious assumptions! My my, and here I was looking for the best in you. Is it so hard to believe that I would send my miscreants away for their own good? After all, I've seen what you Jedi can do. The last one I met brought down an entire bloody battle ship out of the skies! If you're like the other one, then you'll win this fight and I would rather my men return to their families minus one lovely sith affiliate."

She took another step, descending closer to the padawan with a sudden change in expression. A warning glare.

"It seems you're hungry for a fight. A real go getter, aren't you? You know, I could use a friend like you. For that reason, should you be not like the one who came before you and I claim a victory tonight...I'll let you live!"

The dangerousness in her leering eased, but her body shifted into a battle ready stance. Was she just being cocky, or was the sith apprentice entirely off her rocker? Maybe both. Whichever it may be, there was a genuine lack of hatred for the padawan to speak of. Yes, her force signature was unnaturally rigid, oozing with trauma, anger, grief, and viciousness, but none of that wicked pain was actually aimed at Adar. If anything tangling with Kressara as a Jedi might feel akin to battling off a curious, but dangerous wild animal. Not peaceful enough to let slide without a fight, but also not as ill meaning as her peers. Why should she be? The cause of her destruction and rise to evil was never to any fault of the Jedi. They were spotless, shiny, and new to the apprentice, a group of people she had yet discovered reason to hate. It didn't stop her from behaving as a sith, but at least she had something of a respect for the Jedi closing in. He seemed nice enough! Possibly even relatable.

"Before I roll the dice on whether or not you'll send me flying into the rubble behind me...what is your name? It's always so much harder to kill a man with a name."

Confusion. Her words brought much confusion upon Adar. Her expressions, the way she was speaking, her attitue. He expected to see a warrior of evil, like the first time he faced a Sith. But this? This seemed like a tortured soul. Making snarky and indignant remarks only to hide or redirect the pain. Hearing about what that Jedi did confused Adar. It couldn't possibly be true, but he was sure that if they did that they would have had a good reason to do so. But all of that, plus her Force presence pressing hard against not his, was putting a much larger strain on him than he thought.

But he didn't move back. He wanted to, but he didn't. His mind desperately wanted to understand what she was rambling about, about getting "a friend like you", or about sending her flying. But nothing made sense. One thought crossed him mind. Some sort of battle stimulant. But he had read about them and nothing matched what she was experiencing. Unless... drugs? If she had injected herself with some sort of drug, then she was a danger to herself as well. Though the Force must be providing her greater control of its effects. Either way, she wasn't giving Adar anything useful, and he would have to track her gang later on, for he doubted that they merely "went home".

He collected himself and controlled his emotions. Otherwise he would make mistakes. Or worse. He took a good look at his opponent, and made one last attempt at peace.

"You certainty are acting weird, and I detect some pain within you. I don't know why that Jedi acted like that, but it is not too late to join the light. We don't have to fight."

He said that, but could see in her eyes that she had made up her mind. For a moment, he wondered if it weren't for the Jedi and the Sith, maybe they could have been friends. Again, she wasn't overly aggressive, and definitely did not look like she wanted to conquer the galaxy or make all life bow before her. But even if she was merely after vengeance, Adar was duty bound to stop her. He took a deep breath, focused on the Force, and drew his blade.

"I am Jedi Padawan Adar Bolner. Hate to do this to a pretty face, but something is off here. And for the record my dear, you are the one who drew swords first."

Kressara burst into genuinely amused laughter and shook her head before pushing back a few misplaced white gold strands.

"I assure you, the pilots of the ship were deserving of a good thrashing! He was lending me a hand actually…" She trailed off and pushed the limits of the Jedi by taking a third step, leaving only four more between them. Both now were within reach of one another's weapons. Who would make the first strike? Perhaps her amiability was merely a tactic to keep the padawan's guard low.

Stray flood lights from the neighboring industrial buildings dotted the decimated warehouse and settled on her cheekbone, partially illuminating her face. Something was beautifully wrong. The waterlines of her eyes, though she wore no makeup, were laden with an odd, fine glitter catching the nearby beams. The same could be said for her lips, and the interior of her nostrils which (regrettably) could be seen from his angle. Patches of her flaxen crown that held the light shone with the same, unnatural glint and if he could manage a closer look at her fingernails they too would sport a similar sheen. Not many outside of the spice industry would know, but this was the trademark of a humanoid who frequently abused a dangerous neuroenhancing chemical mixture known as Glitterstim.

"Not too late? What a sweet sentiment. Adar, hmm? A good strong name. Very scary indeed." Her thumb nail scratched nervously at the hilt of her blade where scoremarks from the habit had worn the handle down. Momentarily her eyes glanced behind the Jedi, then back to him. "I am Kressara Thryn, former apprentice to the late Lord Blood...and I'm terribly sorry for this."

Kressara sheathed her blade and leapt backwards to the top of the stairs in a blur of black and ashen tresses before snatching her coat from the windowsill. Fabric whooshed dramatically over her with the speed in which she redressed and her expression changed from cordial to horrified at the flip of a switch. Footsteps echoed from the alley behind Adar and droid light pooled over the scene between them. Her voice, lacking all confidence and demure which it held before, cried out for help to a police officer and his mechanical partner that had just arrived.

"Help! Please help me! He's got a weapon!" Kressara, the coy little devil screamed like her life depended on it and pointed at the Jedi. The moment the officer's attention fell on him, the wiley sith apprentice turned on her heel and darted into the burnt ruins with the tails of her trench coat fanning a trail of soot behind her. Clouds of charred plaster rose from each footfall until she passed through the cinder and out into the scrap yard beyond. She dashed up a mound of discarded steel and leapt the fence, rolling into the impact of her landing before she was racing through the streets again. Half covered in charcoal, Kress ran through the slums as fast as her legs could carry her. After a few minutes of rushing about she flew down another dark sidestreet, between a few complexes, and into the open gates of a construction site.
There is a place that hurts the most, but will I go there? I cannot climb, it's far below. I have to fall there.

Just another anarchist sith assassin wishing she'd grown crops instead.

Re: Glit-biter's Paradise. (Adar/Kressara)

They were now within striking distance of each other. From this close, she seemed to sparkle. No, literally sparkle. Her eyes, lips and nose all seemed to be lased with some sort of glitter. Adar had never seen anything like this. It was deeply discomforting. If the Sith girl wasn't close enough to potentially strike at him, he would even ask to help her with that. Though her response to his plea to join him was evident she wasn't having any of that. He prepared for combat, entering Shii-Cho form and waiting for her to make a move.

And move she did, but backwards. Her weapon returned to its sheath. He then noticed people coming from behind. He relaxed his stance, and turned around. Police droids came rushing, and Kressara shouted for help like a little scared girl. Adar, turned around to face her, putting away his weapon. His expression was one of anger and a "you can't be serious now". The police forces weren't having any of this, and moved to apprehend him. As Adar was thinking of what to do, he heard the woman make a run for it. Oh, you are not getting away with this!, he thought. He could easily explain things to the authorities, but they would probably apprehend him first, and that meant that Kressara would escape. And that wasn't happening tonight.

He started running as well, jumping over some walls and running into the dark alleyways. He was just now so thankful for all the exercise training his Master had put him through. The droids were doing the best, but the Jedi padawan was a bit too slippery than what they could handle. He stopped after a while to catch his breath.

"Ghost, tell me you recorded all that"
"Yep, no need to worry. The Alliance and the Coalition would not let you rot in jail, master Adar."
"I know, it's just... better safe than sorry. Now, let's go find that Sith. You don't leave my backpack unless I tell you do, alright?"
"Understood."

The young Jedi entered into a focused state in order to see through the Force. For only through Its help could he find her now. He sensed some afterimages of her. Dark fragments or scars wedged onto the flow of the Force. They almost seemed to be calling out to him. He followed them, and hoped that Kressara would not have gone far. Eventually, he could sense her dark pressense once again. That meant she could sense his as well. Good. She would not escape this time.
