Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
“Blessing is a general term. I refer to stealing a sliver of Kun’s essence, his life force. Since he’s immortal it makes for a very effective energy source so long as we keep our focus on things such as this amulet which are driven by the Force itself and not a more physical fuel.” They cruised beneath the gas giant of Yavin Prime, the Infiltrator was a swift vessel and sped passed many of the Army dropships that had launched earlier. Ahead was the blue encased orb of verdant green - Yavin IV - a moon of the orange half-star. He nodded, “I agree, having immortality does not do much if one is sealed away in a tomb of sorts.” He brought up an overlay of the targeted Temple and its holographic image was old and covered in moss and vines with a heavy touch of aged decay. “Our High Priest however has unlocked the key to immortality though his methods are,” He paused and looked at Kita with an arced eyebrow, “disgusting. He devours the life essence of others to fulfill his youthful presence. He is akin to a parasite or even a mythical vampire. Though no one can deny his value to the Red Cauldron and his effective abilities in every other field or task with which I’ve set him to.”
The ship broke into the atmosphere of Yavin IV now and Tormentous banked the ship around to head for the rally point where Darth Warvanus would bring in his tribe and also where Slade would bring his ten warriors. It was where Sovereign was to construct the ritual grounds and where the amulet would find life - and also one more thing that Tormentous had in mind that was worth more than the Massassi to him - it was a personal issue and one he would see done. The Hunter was to find his claws sharpened once more.
“Yes,” he said flatly, “there is always a price for the use of Sorcery above all other Dark Side abilities for it is the most unnatural form of the Dark Side that we use and therefore it must find recompense in something tangible. Often it takes the toll on our bodies and for the weak among us - our minds. Today,” His voice lowered an octave, Kita Ikari had never been exposed to the horrors of Sith Sorcery and its potential chaos. What she would witness here today would be some of the most raw and incredible visceral examples of its use. It was going to be a very serious wake up call and one that would perhaps make her think again about the path she was walking for Kita wasn’t evil - but what was about to occur here was every bit of the word and more.
“Today it seems that sacrifice is on the menu. A price paid in the blood of the living.”
The Specter circled the ancient Massassi Temple of Exar Kun three times as Tormentous chose the best parking space. He found one near the front doors - it was a shady spot to hopefully his ship wouldn’t be too hot when he returned and he wouldn’t have to cover the front viewscreen - it was such a hassle.
Landing in the clearing Darth Tormentous descended the ramp and set foot down on the surface of Yavin IV for the first time in many years. It felt terrible to be back here. It was a moon that was covered deeply in a saturated level of Force energy and that energy was largely dominated by the Dark Side. It brought a steady induction of energy straight into his own energy field and he grimaced with every passing moment for it. He tasted copper on his tongue and immediately his face mask began to filter the blood that was running from his nose. The pressure on his mind was intense and caused the nasal running. He swallowed hard and tried to shake off the discomfort from being here.
To Tormentous the Force was a vice upon his mind and the more it surrounded him the more pain he fell within though the more he gathered the pain would subside as in a painkillers tendency though it was exactly that. It wasn’t a cure and only a band-aid to the problem.
He reached behind him and his gauntlet enclosed around the silver twine on the leather hilt of the Sword of Moraband itself. Jidai Maras. Drawing the daemonic sword from the clasp on his back was only the beginning motion and already the action of his hand grasping the weapon it sent a great tremor through the Force as the Force itself wanted to recoil away from such a marriage of man and Dark energy. The Dark Side of the Force cried out in glee as the cancerous relationship of Darth Tormentous and the Jidai Maras was once more formed.
He swept the sword out to his side and his temples throbbed with agonizing pain from all the draw caused by the sword of the Force. Veins pulsed and it pained Tormentous greatly to be in this place perhaps even more so than his original visit - no - for certain it did for now he was by far more powerful than he’d been back then and now he wielded the full capacity of his sword as well.
Had it been anyone else with a similar relationship to the Force as Tormentous then they’d likely had perished or went insane from the Force’s constant torment.
He growled low to Kita, “Shall we?”
Then he started walking towards the Temple, his first steps on the massive staircase leading to the upper levels and on towards the awakening of a destiny he’d robbed.

It was surprising to hear that they could do something like that with the amulet just through the force itself. She knew it was powerful, but she didn't realize how powerful the force actually was. Did it have any limits? That was the question. She had seen his power with the force back on Vorpa'ya. The electrical power from his hand frying the wild beast that resided their as she had clung to Jacobi as he pulled her from the icey water. She remembered being amazed just from the sight alone.
Kita smiled feeling a bit happy he agreed the Sith lords means of mortality were a disappointing predicament for anyone to be involved in. “Our High Priest however has unlocked the key to immortality though his methods are, disgusting. He devours the life essence of others to fulfill his youthful presence. He is akin to a parasite or even a mythical vampire. Though no one can deny his value to the Red Cauldron and his effective abilities in every other field or task with which I’ve set him to.” She turned pale slightly, dwelling on what he was suggesting. "That's just wrong and gross on so many levels. Even i wouldn't do that for immortality." She stated horrified.
Hearing him talking about the affects of using Sith sorcery, she glanced at him wondering. His appearance was alarming at best with his pale skin and colored eyes. "Is that what happened to you?" She thought. It was a possibility. Once he mentioned it could mess with people's minds, she had already started questioning if maybe that was what Jacobi was referring to when saying to her Tormentous was a being of the darkside himself. "...Jacobi..." She had a sense of sadness wash over her at the thought but quickly pushed it aside. "I can't think about this right now."
She looked forward as they began to enter orbit.
“Today it seems that sacrifice is on the menu. A price paid in the blood of the living.”
She shifted her gaze briefly over to the Sith Lord worriedly before looking back out the window. "Oh? And who is the sacrifice your giving?" A hint of curiosity could be heard in her tone yet also some worry. The young sith apprentice wasn't liking the sound of this. It couldn't have been her. That was off the table since Tormentous time and energy thus far put into her would be wasted had he done that.
Similar to Vorpa'ya, Kita could feel the heaviness weigh in her chest as the darkside energy lingered around her own energy. It wasn't one she enjoyed. It caused her to feel...cold for some reason. It had been a nerve wracking feeling as it overwhelmed her last time they were stuck in a cave within the snowy region. She had to call upon the energy to use it once at the time, and it took alot out of her physically. The dark side energy was more intense then just normal force energy upon Kita. "I wonder if it makes everyone feel that way..."
As they parked outside the temple, she watched Tormentous pull his dark blade from its sheath and swing it aside before he turned to her with the low deep voice she knew as Darth Tormentous himself. She missed Jacobi's gentle tone coming from the mans form in front of her. Instead the evil side of Jacobi was left to run free and Kita had no control over it. She needed to learn to adjust to Tormentous presence being around a majority of the time.
"Shall we?"
With a nod, Kita got up and followed him outside the ship. Her eyes scanning over the temple as they slowly approached the entrance itself. She didn't know what to think. She wasn't sure what to expect. All of this was a new experience for her as she entered the unknown.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
Darth Warvanus had their obedience, now he had to get them to the temple. He had followed in the shuttle, at a distance not close enough to be on top of them but not so far as the shuttle could not be seen.
Through the hours Warvanus led the tribe towards the temple. At times it seemed to progress faster than other times. Sometimes it appeared to all but come to a crawl. On more than one occasion there were incidents, incidents that halted their progress and hence preforming the Emperor’s will.
Warvanus three hours into it had to disembark the shuttle again which followed the tribe, He would lead the tribe himself on foot but first those responsible would pay for their insolence, and they did with their lives. The offenders were lined up and one by one Warvanus beheaded them. They would not be buried, He would leave the birds and beasts of this world to take care of removing the bodies. Akaan Burkida tasted their blood, it hungered for more. It was an inpulse he had to squash down. The sword had not fully bended to his will, but it was almost there.
Once the power of the Warrior-King was displayed for the tribe to see, not only the savagery but the cruelty he possessed the incidents became much fewer and progress continued. As he led them he wondered what Exar Kun or Naga Sadow would have thought of their handiwork over four millenia later. He had known that the Massassi of that era were stronger and smarter.
It would still be a couple hours still when the Great Temple came into sight and would be a bit longer still before Warvanus lead the exodus of the largest Massassi tribe to the Great Temple.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
Slade was used to the Priest performing random acts against his will, and had learned that his words were soon accented by them. The Sovereign was severely rushing the aspect of Slade recalling the Force, when he was just organically incapable of it. There was no bridge for him to cross to reach the feelings, or the energy pool as a whole, as he was not born with it. His sensitivity was not his own; Blood had merely handed him each piece as required for his roots to develop and settle and grow, and thus he did, until he took over. Slade was just coming to this conclusion as the days went by, where every new day was another type of experimental sorcery task for the Pale Maned Priest. Slade was meaning to speak on the task at hand, but as usual the Priest was bleak on the matter, only defaulting to confusing the Hunter with the next sentence. Another -
The hard waft of air was able to elicit a flinch from the action, but not what lay behind the hand. The Strike reached him with a stinging lunge, ripping a score of flesh from the disbelieving Sith's cheek, just under his eye. His face was scored thickly, under his blind eye, a wound which now seeped it's single streak of blood. The stream in it's totality was immediately hardened, snapped into a dazzle of power as he raised a hand to touch the stinging flesh, before the powder molded together into yet another gem, a catalyst to stream another attempt to cull Slade's lack. The gem was immediately put to use, prying the wound even further, tearing vertically down to his cheek as it was shoved with even less care within the Hunter. The Sithian had reached to pull the gem free, but by then, it was too late. Within the seconds it to attempt to pinch free the scarlet jewel, a lacey whirl of lettering branded him and he was robbed oh his ability to breath, see, taste, feel. Fear and fury strangled him as he was rocked forward, unable to hold his weight while his consciousness was yanked from his grip with too frightening of ease.
There was firstly nothing but the immediate royal purple sphere before him. It glowed every now and then a violent aura, as if something forced the light from it at different tempos. Slade did not need to be reminded of what lay inside...he remembered all too well. This place however...it was so empty. Bleak. Normal and... it had no room for anything more. Blood took up what space there could have been. The very same space Krynn had ripped into him, and injected her ability. Her ...
The Xandir took a step back from the orb which began to shake, the illumination glowing brighter as something rocked the insides of the sphere. Blood had not been idle within this orb. "That sphere contains all that was the Dragon King."
"That Sphere contains the bastard." he corrected, already upset Silas dared to waste Tormentous' time bringing him to attempt this again, now, when they had JUST been given individual orders. Slade knew this was a dangerous feat to attempt on such borrowed time. The last time they had attempted, it had taken Slade 4 days to recover. Tormentous only deemed them 2.
"Priest, we can not risk this, right now-" he began. The orb begged him to.
Tormentous had expected him to be able to do this without the Force. He did not shy away from Slade being able to wrangle up the warriors somehow, even without being able to get the Force to do so. He ... had faith that Slade would be capable of this mission, Force be damned.
But he took a step near the glowing sphere. Even tentatively reached his hand out towards the floating mass. The orb seemed to almost reach back out-
and with a dip, he lightly touched it.
Immediately he was pulled within it, and sitting on a ragged crate, sat himself. A completely different version of himself, a form he should have never turned into. Himself, a wicked pair of wings clutched to his back, legs crossed in an ethereal black suit, black clawed hands sickly matching the ebony of the suit. Even the feet matched, hair clicked back, and trailing in a living wafts behind him. A pleasantly waiting smile glittered a greyed tan face, teeth too unnaturally sharp to layer such a wide maw.
"Welcome back, whelp. It's a bit more spacious in here for me than that cage...I had to make do." The grin widened, and a sarcastic look of regret climbed over the features of his parasite. "Apologies - I only had enough crate for one seat, and it's taken."
Slade felt completely off in this man's - no, this thing's presence. "Oh, now that's just harsh, Mr. Xandir," he scolded, his crown tipping in such a lying degree that Slade had almost believed his hurt sincere. "I am no thing, I live, I breathe, and I ate, once." he curled a sneer to Slade, a hateful and demonic sneer that was more devilish than anything mortal. "In fact, let me assist you, since this is why you're here-" his mimicry baritones mocked the Hunter. Immediately, his senses were amplified, his ability to feel was completely blinding, and his sudden onslaught of it was misery was absolute. He fell, almost blacking out from the complete baffling level of it all. "Oh what? It hurts? The Force hurts now? It's only what I'm currently feeling, what I've BEEN feeling, since being in this bright hellhole." His fury built, and Slade felt it through the glare of agony, and he tried recoiling from it. He spewed vomit from where he lay on the ship, his body starting to convulse from the tremors the pain was seizing him with. He tried to exit the ball, reaching up almost drained to claw at the purple walls, the walls that had been so inviting before, now his ownly lifeline out. But the solid walls now did not allow him exit. He struggled to breathe.
"Would be a real shame if I told you that you are just fooled. You poor idiot, I am your only way of the Force. There is no room for anything else. You can not even use the Force without me. You will die trying, and I will still be here, laughing at your idiocy for trying. Silas has you fooled into believing you can merely use me," he lowered those familiar baritones to a perishing Sithian on the floor of his tomb. "Silas will be your end. And I will be here, watching every attempt he tries, fail. Without me, there is no Force within you, idiot fool."
Then, Blood withdrew it all, leaving Slade gasping on the purple floor. Slade couldn't move, and it felt as though everything ached. As though he was just given his skeleton back, and every muscle came back at a cost, too. Everything hurt. "Mother took your safety switch and ate it. And with every attempt you attempt to reach me, I will be reaching back. Silas only understands so much of the Dark Side." The suave demon turned from Slade, looking wistfully at the walls.
"Even right now, with you here, I could take you. And Silas would be stuck believing I was in fact, you. I could steal you so much more easily. It would be you stuck in this awful little ball, and I would have my Sire back. My dragons, my spawn...All mine." his smooth voice trailed off, a gentle smile laying on the man's lips as Slade only just righted himself in a slump. "Silas keeps me here, because I allow him. You live, because I allow it. I needed rest. I am still resting." He turned to Slade, a blink ending the smile. Now was just hunger within that single garnet eye. "Soon, Mr. Xandir, I will be back. And your precious Priest will not stand in my way, again. For I am the Dark Side. Degenerates. Now leave me. I would like to nap, now." Slade had only managed to see the man shift to some incorporeal body, a gaseous plume of energy that settled to the floor in an ominous waft, before he was ripped free from the Sphere, and thrust back into the body laying on the floor, face sideways in his stomachs semi-digested contents and his muscles stiff.
"This was NOT how I desired my mission to begin..." he started.
The hard waft of air was able to elicit a flinch from the action, but not what lay behind the hand. The Strike reached him with a stinging lunge, ripping a score of flesh from the disbelieving Sith's cheek, just under his eye.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
The Dark One was ascending the steps of the Great Massassi Temple - and he stopped in his tracks. His mighty black cape fell around him in the windless air. Ever so slowly he turned from his advance and gaze outward (Sense Force Disturbance) to a point in the sky where nothing but clouds dominated the scene. His voice of pure - a b s o l u t e - loathsome hatred burned forth and the Dark Side of the Force itself knew what this was. “Blood…” His left hand, yet free. Tightened within his gauntlet to a white knuckled grip as in the skies the sound of a starship closing in started to peak through the distance. An easy rolling thunder in the distance.
Why? The solidified question that haunted everyone’s dreams. Not his own. The Dark Lord of the Sith did not rise in station and power to ask why. He was here in this realm to provide results and if there was anything that he was exceptionally good at - it was just that - results. Blatant results that ground down his foes that dared oppose him. Though there was no why for him, he did question whom. Though he needn’t ask it as one name befell his mind.
That dangerously low growl from his mask fell out with a hiss. “Sovereign….”
His right hand tightened his grip upon the vile sword he carried, the Jidai Maras answered his touch and had Blood’s appearance created a tremor in the Force - the awakening of the Sword of Eternal Damnation would cause a mountainous erosion - an avalanche in the realm of the void. All around within the Temple as the Force itself quivered there came every insect and nasty serpent and critter writhing themselves from the cracks in the stone work. They crawled over his boots on occasion and once they did they vanished in a pitch blackness of smokey Force energy. The stones which he stood upon trembled and the ancient masonry crumbled. Screams began to echo in the symphony of a thousand wails - Exar Kun’s slaves from millenia ago.
With a vicious crack of thunder - the Jidai Maras erupted with energy, broad lances of pure Force energy leapt from its surface in the form of bolts of bright blue lighting. They were indiscriminate and if Kita Ikari was not prepared then they would strike her with a severe enough energy level that it could very well kill her outright. These stray bolts were mundane in power compared to what was forming upon the blade itself.
A Sith Sword was a conduit to the energy in which a Sith Lord may tap into. Much like the armor of the orbalisks it was very capable of by far increasing the potency of Force Powers. In kind, the definition of Force Lightning was spread from the fingers to a broad range and dispersed at range. To the Jidai Maras its use would magnify a dozen times and those under its fury would soon know the truth behind the phrase ‘unlimited power’.
There begat the disturbance. A single dot in the skies crossing the horizon towards this direction where it would land and conduct the business of the Dark Lord - or so it should have been. Instead of following his word the occupants had decided to take things into their own hands and he could sense everything he needed to know. They were fooling around with Blood when Tormentous had not allowed that Dragon-snake to slither back onto his son, Slade. Apparently they had forgotten their place. Apparently they presumed to know the mind of the Dark One. Apparently they desired to meddle against well laid out plans - and if Tormentous had one thing - it was not patience - it was rage.
He stood upon the high mound of the temple betwixt the earth and the skies aloft. Where there was no wind at all his cape lifted up and ripped in the gathered violent wind that now transpired at the behest of the Dark One. Rain began to fall in heavy sheets as the skies changed from bright blue and puffy white clouds to a black sky heavy laden with the promise of death. His stance widened. His teeth ground beneath his mask. As his hood dwelt over his face and hid his features it failed completely in its purpose as his acidic and glowing yellow eye burned incredibly bright within that cowl as a bright red ring of hatred edged the iris.
With a swing us his huge arm he swept out and pointed the Jidai Maras right at the incoming shuttle. Rain fell in so much content that the temple rushed with rivers across its’ sides. Lightning cracked in the distance. But when he was fully prepared -
Behold - Darth Tormentous’ wrath -
- Yavin IV took a breath and everything was made still. The rain surrounding the Demon of Dxun ceased all at once. There was silence. And then as a mighty cannon the thunder clapped and a broad bolt of lightning struck - from out of the Jidai Maras (Force Lightning). Soon as the bolt was fired the rain commenced once again.
The very atmosphere shredded itself in twain as the unnatural energy ripped through it and struck the side of the transport in the blink of an eye. The entire aft section exploded in a bright ball of fire and gas. Crew fell from the stricken craft and fell down to the surface of Yavin IV as burning and falling stars of melted and fused meat. The craft was going to nose down into the canopy - but he was not finished and with his left hand he reached out to the craft and the entire nose and cockpit crumpled like wet paper in an unnaturally swift pace, impacting in on itself beyond what should have been even real to comprehend.
Had the High Priest, Lord Sovereign or Slade Xandir been inside the cockpit or the aft section at the time then he would not blink an eye in regret. Their deaths would have been a finality to his anger. If they had been fast enough to escape the devastation of their craft’s damaged sections, they were still in for quite the ride as the Dark One’s grip on the nose of the craft yanked the orientation of the ship in his direction.
In a fit of rage the Dark Lord of the Sith stomped his way down those steps and stood in the grass before the Temple. Burning down came the shuttle which had carried Sovereign and Slade within it. Its descent obliterated its way through the canopy as it descended destructively, trees caught fire as it passed by and large sections of ship fell away burying themselves in the moon’s surface.
The ship came down hard and slammed into the earth. A great furrow was gouged into the ground as a wave of dirt and rock left the surface and showered the area. The ship slammed Darth Tormentous’ own ship, the Specter on its own nose which crippled its landing gear and dropped the ship to the ground - sliding aside of the speeding wreck.
Darth Tormentous did not move as the crashing ship came in to crush him straight outright. The speed in which it was to arrive would not be stopped for the inertia alone was so aggressive that there could be no alternative. Yet as the vessel came to claim the Dark One (Telekinesis) it slammed into a veritable hammer. It came to a dead stop. Burning metal cascaded all around him as he glared at the fiery wreck. He shouted into the din, “Slade, Priest - come forth!”

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
The moment Slade had touched the seal and made contact with Blood he had been made Force Sensitive. Much to the elation of the serpentine priest. Blood’s belief in any capacity to tamper with Slade was completely unfounded. Within the domain of the Hunter’s mind using the power of both sorcery and mind control the High Priest’s will was absolute. Sensing finality in forging the bond between the Hunter and the formative potency of the dragon the Sovereign turned to shatter the barrier between Slade’s conscious and sub-consciousness.
However, any further gain was not to be as the Sovereign’s sublime senses tore his focus away to a heightened acknowledgment of the danger manifested by the Dark Lord. Releasing his hold of Slade, the Sovereign dispersed the seal he had placed on the youth’s forehead. An eruption of flames met the priest’s renewed focus back to the physical. “Always so rash. A moment longer is all I required…” The Sovereign sighed as he ripped the Hunter from his seat and launched his body to the tail end of the shuttle as far from the flames as possible (Telekinesis).
Assured the ‘he’ would not be consumed in the unavoidable crash, the priest’s concerns were actually to his…lab specimen. Indeed the mental conflicts between Blood and Slade were of great note to one with the knowledge of Tormentous’s condition. Outside of struggling to reach the safer end of the sputtering craft there was little Sovereign could do to further protect Slade. However, as the vessel slammed into the ground and was nearly destroyed by an additional volley the priest absorbed what energy he could from the sundering and held the Hunter in place by the sheer might of his will.
Hearing his lord command the pair to exit the frustration from such an entrance was channeled as the Sovereign summoned his own volley of unseen energy. With an immense burst of shrapnel and molten slag the remaining front half of the shuttle erupted outward toward Tormentous almost in response to his order (Telekinesis). Finally with a firm hand on the youth’s collar the Sovereign drug Slade out of the wreckage and cast his singed form before Tormentous. “By your command my liege…” The High Priest voiced as he slowly walked out from the flames even as the embers assaulted his face. His armor heated, his cape slowly being ate away by the flames, the priest walked slowly outward as the immense pressure of the dark side ignited the fury of his indignation. The core of his existence within the darkness.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
The slag came for Tormentous but he had known the Lord Sovereign a long time and was prepared for it, the slag ceased to exist as it once had been for the hand of the Dark Lord reached out and gripped it with his might and crumpled it. The action belied the strength of the metals within the slag as the crush was nigh on instantaneous. Obliterating it in all but its matter-like composition. He pointed the Jidai Maras right at the High Priest, “Tampering with him I care nothing of. Twist his mind if you will. Though toying with that entity will undo everything you yourself have accomplished. Blood is a parasite and even his contained state as you imprisoned it was a danger to the mind of the Hunter. Now fully contained, you would release it to enact its due once more and this time Xandir would be consumed in entirety. Do you not see the value of the man over the entity - I know that you do.” He stalked closer to the Echani and eyed him carefully, a warning not to defy him further and turn this reprimand into a beating. “Stand down Priest.” It would be the only warning he’d get.
His eye traveled to Slade. “On your feet Hunter - get moving as I told you.” With the flick of two fingers (telekinesis) Slade was slammed with a hammer, cascading him like a ragdoll into the woodline while the adults had their conversation.
Finally he returned to Sovereign and pointed at him angrily, “These plans have been carefully lain out and must not be circumvented further. I would have Slade returned to power but in the manner which you seek it done has not prescribed a solution that benefits us. It is a bandage over a festering wound.” He moved his finger to aim at the orange gas giant, “In two days time we will stand on the blood moon cycle, Slade will have his due and by my hand,” he paused and glanced to Sovereign, he couldn’t disregard the High Priest for his whims of sorcery were vastly immense and as much as Tormentous didn’t like it - the Priest powers of sorcery outweighed his own. While Tormentous had been proven more clever in usage, the Lord Sovereign was immutable in its potency. He corrected himself - “by our hand, he will soon be able to tap into the unfathomable energies but it will truly be Slade Xandir and not the maleficarum of Blood.”
He finally lowered his angry hand and touted his chest out, as the Emperor he needn’t explain his designs or even for that matter anything at all to those who were his subjects. The Priest was included in this. Yet to the Lord Sovereign he had granted him a measure of his finite patience and more so an explanation previously unruled upon back on the Harbinger.
Taking a breath he now stood before the High Priest. It was for the Echani to decide right then and there if this would devolve into a fight or if he would smartly back down and prevent his own throttling this day. Darth Tormentous was not beyond making examples as shown by his treatment of Blood. If Sovereign decided to puff out that damned Echani pride then the Dark One would hand him his spleen.
So the rivalry between the two was shown. Tormentous and Sovereign. Allies to an extent, yet preferred enemies the rest of the time. It was the exact throwback of the old saying Keep your friends close - but your enemies closer.
Sometimes the irony of how much they used each other came to the fore. This was one of those moments.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
The hoard followed the Warrior King as they drew closer to the temple. From the distance he could make out what could be described as a commotion. It did not take a scientist to figure out the involved parties.
Regardless he continued to lead the Massassi tribe to the temple. Once they were close enough for the Emperor to take notice he raised his gauntleted hand and tribe halted. There from a little bit of a distance he watched the confrontation unfold. His base instinct and reaction was to draw Akaan Burkida and stand by his Emperor, but this was the Emperor’s fight if it were to go down as such. The masses gathered watched with baited breath on what would happen next

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
Following next to Tormentous, Kita continued walking ahead, mind focused intently on what they were planning to do. She just about entered when she realized the only other footsteps she had heard were hers. Turning around, she saw the Sith Lord had stopped in his track's, obviously something caught his attention. "Master?"
"Blood..."
A look of confusion crossed her face. Kita could sense the anger surrounding Tormentous and feared at the possibility of the things he would do in his fit of rage. She had seen Tormentous's anger and power a couple of times since knowing him. But she had a feeling that anger was still VERY mild compared to what was festering inside.
“Sovereign….”
Hearing both Blood and Sovereign's names, Kita knew it was them that causes this reaction from her master. Kita felt the force disturbance easily as creatures and alike scurried out from the doorway of the temple and every other crevice they were hiding in. Kita wouldn't have minded so much...if spiders hadn't been among them. A shiver crawled up her spine in fear and disgust as she watched them all disappear into a dark smoke of somesort. "I don't like where this is going... She thought. Suddenly the ground shook, grabbing hold of the doorway's frame, she jumped at the sound of his sword coming to life. Two things she feared in one day. Thunder and spiders. "This day is turning out to be a good one..." She thought sarcastically.
Kita's danger sense kicked in and she distanced herself farther away from Tormentous inside the temple itself, but close enough she could observe what her master was doing. With blue eyes wide, she noticed the dark clouds enveloping the sky in darkness, rain pouring so thick that you would be drenched to the point someone would think you were thrown into a lake. She heard the rush of water outside the temple and jumped again at the sound of the thunders booming echo in the distance. "This makes me think of that dream I had last year..." She muttered to herself as she covered her ears trying to block it out.
Suddenly it went silent, and hearing a muffled thunder sound, she saw the bolt of lightening shoot out from her masters sword into the sky. Feeling it was safe enough to watch her master at a closer distance, she walked to stand in the doorway again and glanced up at the sky. Peices of Silas and Slade's ship came falling down from the sky. She sensed the loss of people (Life Sense) vanish into the force of whom were on the ship. Somehow she watched Tormentous crunch down the front half of the cockpit, the metal creaked and echoed through the sky. "Hopefully no one was inside..." she thought.
Dirt flew up as parts of the ship crashed into the ground nearby. Kita had quite a bit of coverage so none of this affected her in any way. It's when she caught sight of her master in the grass down below that she grew worried. The young sith apprentice took in the fact part of the ship was coming straight for him. "Is he crazy!?!?" Making sure there was no more debris falling towards her, she ran out a few steps into the open once again. Kita might have not liked Tormentous all that much...But Jacobi was there too. And she didn't want to lose him. A sense of dread came over her, imagining his lifeless body buried underneath the wreckage. Kita put her hands up around her mouth and yelled. "MASTER, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!"
In seconds from the hunk of metal hitting him, her mouth dropped as the piece of the ship stopped inches in front of Tormentous.
“Slade, Priest - come forth!”
The Sovereigns aura and attitude alone as he exited the ships remains with Slade made Kita have a feeling not to trust him. She just didn't know why however. She couldn't hear the conversation. All she could go by was their actions. Kita thought for sure Tormentous was gonna run the Sovereign through with his blade, but found he didn't. Slade had been flung near the edge of the wooded area like he weighed nothing before her master turned his attention back to Silas. Whatever it was about Tormentous was furious about, it was taking a long time to get back to the mission at hand. Kita liked staying focused if possible, and whatever these guys had done to interrupt it was getting irritating.
She had a urge to go down their and break it up, but she had a feeling if she did...she might end up like slade and the rest of the ship. Instead she quietly awaited at the top of the stone steps as the air began to grow smoky from the fires of burning metal that now littered the ground. Kita didn't want to show disrespect or bring down the pride of her master by interrupting. And yet she was really showing self restraint from getting involved.
"Blood..."
A look of confusion crossed her face. Kita could sense the anger surrounding Tormentous and feared at the possibility of the things he would do in his fit of rage.

Re: Rally of the Lost Tribes
Slade had not even had time to raise himself beyond his arms and knees before he was sent reeling past Forcibly opened doors all the way until Silas was out of eyesight. Head already pounding with the prior realization that catapulted him through mental trauma, now he was careening towards physical sides of hurt.
He had no clue what had happened, as he was again oblivious to the communication happening within the Force, but he was aware of a harsh wave of genuinely something to internally feel fear from. Something magnanimous was wholly angry, and surely the wave of it that spread over the body, rose hairs, and caused such a rush of nausea to plummet him much more viciously than them hitting that ground, crashing through the earth, and skidding to a forced halt before the very emitter of it all - it all had to be for him, was it not?
The very same speed which he had been thrown through the clear path of the now ruined ship, he was brought back with, even less care than before as tempers flared. As he was snatched forward through the metal debris and fallen parts, he was pulled forcefully against the wall of an adjacent frame and with a trapped arm wrenched free, the snap that came with it was much more meaty and loud as it banged his senses to life from the concussion. the left side of his body complained while the right forced him to brace as he was tossed in front of the fuming Dark Lord. Even so, even with his undeniably agonizing wounds and woozy state, the Hunter wobbled in his fight to get to his knees, and attempt a kneel before the Sith. But he simply couldn't get past a pitiful slouch forward, both knees spread as he sat on shaking haunches, as though he waited for his execution. In a way, he was. Whatever fates had landed them here, his ringing ears sang to him, he was going to die here, wasn't he?
But release did not grace him, or even drag him from the situation at had. instead he was picked up, and flung into the woods, where his right side smacked into a elm without much mercy. He stopped in a unfortunate flip and landed on his stomach, his everything now hurting all at once. Sounds weren't registering to him, and everything felt fuzzy. His single golden eye stared at the swoosh of verde leaves before it shut to rest his heavily wounded body.
