Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Neive chuckled a bit. It seems he had provoked the dark lord a bit. He could see it on blood's face... he was furious. And an angry fighter was most of the time a sloppy fighter. Neive needed to keep his composure, especially after hearing his words about his brother, Kroxata.
"I have but one question... I've escaped tormentous a few times in my day... but if he ever returned to take his throne here, would you tuck your tail like a pup for your master? Or would you try to keep what you seem to think belongs to you?" Neive smiled as he looked at Slade's face for but a moment.
"And if you do try to keep your place... will you escape his wrath? Because we both know you can't fight him alone, and most likely your minions would acknowledge his power." Neive backed up, looking at Rhoden for a second. He knew slade would be even more furious after his words, so in a dash of both desperation and quick thinking, Neive used his lightsaber to cut a leather belt on his waist that held a small group of more grenades, pulling the pin on one as he slung the group of 3 or 4 grenades towards Blood, quickly after pushing rhoden down the hall, lightsaber up in order to deflect oncoming fire. He thought for a moment... did the verpine all see the GA as an ally? Or would they fire on sight for members of any faction besides their oppressors?

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Rhoden's eyes widened and he tensed as a loop of grenades connected to his belt went flying. He ran a quick mental catalog even as he went hurtling out of the hole away from the Sith and grenades. Ion detonators, thermal detonator, and... an impulse charge--a three stage detonator, a flash bang, an ion pulse, and a high yield exploive. It had been developed--taped together, more appropriately--by Zafre on one of Inferno's more hectic missions. It had worked well enough to warrant further "production". It's name came from the obscenely loud blast of super-heated air it produced.
Rhoden finished his mental catalog before he'd taken three steps and he shouted, "Faster, faster!" he said, entering into a mental calculation as to how far the blast would travel, factor in a combined detonation... they should make it... No, wait. Damn. The tunnel would channel it right at them. "This's gonna hurt." he muttered.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
It took nothing for the flung grenades to catch the helm of the fiery onslaught he hurled at Neive, and with their steel shell they were momentarily protected from the swift temperature increase. Blood watched as they flew over the general gist of flames, and with a swift recalculation, the Sithian snatched his other sense of focus and directed a wave of telekinetic grasp, shoving them up high enough in the air and at an arc to where the grenades exploded above the middle ground between the pair.
The cloud and shrapnel flung in all general direction, piercing a multitude of things and more than likely people. However, the bone armor protected the main ordeal of his body, flecks of the metal ricocheting off of him in various direction.
Sheilding his face instinctively after the blast, Blood watched as the pair ran again from the heat of his wrath. Gritting his teeth, the furious Sith Lord followed behind them.
"War," he mentioned on comm. "Land in the adjacent route from us...and stop these fools once and for all."

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Raphael signaled Kressara to take leave of this hallway, as it seemed it was about to get ugly. He motioned for her to check back in with his protocol droid near his ship to make sure everything was good to go in case of a much needed quick escape.
Once she was out of hearing distance, he took his position back up against the barricades. Raphael’s rifle pointed directly at the exit of the tunnel waiting on the enemy party to begin their fleeing efforts from his father. He had no idea who they were dealing with, but even a combined force of to military men surely couldn’t face the psychotic tendencies of his father.
Before long an explosion let out as dust and debris shot through the exit of the tunnel looking for an escape. Raphael and the militia were still dazed as he began coughing away the dust. As the two men appeared out of the tunnel, so did a lightweapon as it was ignited. The young man took a couple of shots down range before realizing some of the militia had begun fleeing from these men. It seems most if not all of the Verpine Militia weren’t entirely loyal to his father, they were just forced to head his commands. This would not go well for the Verpine if the Sith did in fact prevail in this encounter.
More shots down range, Raphael signaled to his datapad to communicate with his team. “Warvanus, I’m going to need you sooner rather than later. It seems the Verpine have ill wishes towards us!”

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
The Comm cracked to life from the ground, first it was Lord Blood, then his son the one called Silver. At last he was going to see some ground combat. He could feel his blood begin to quicken even more at the prospect. He began his approach to land, as he did so, he hit the comm. Switch
“On my way M’lord” he addressed Lord Blood
The Starchaser landed without incident, he had a breath mask on as he knew there was little atmosphere but being clad in his bone plated armor he decompressed the cockpit before opening the canopy to disembark. Lightsaber clipped to his side. He made his way into the adjacent tunnel as his Lord commanded.
As he walked down the tunnel, his footsteps crunching stone, and dust under his feet, his red blade ignited to life as the War Bringer would now make his mark upon these foolish traitors, these bugs. These Verpine. He gathered the Force as he made his approach, summoning its energies ready , senses alert. It was time to spill some blood.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Neive was at almost a sprint with Rhoden as he heard the blast of the grenades, however a small pain in the back of his head made him have to think on his feet once again(danger sense)
Neive grabbed Rhoden and pulled him through the doorway to the hall, ripping off a piece of his antarian armor... the galactic alliance symbol that had been stitched on. “We’re with the Alliance!” He called out to he heroine that would listen, before hearing the blasts sent from the end of the hall and bringing his saber up, blocking them into the failing, walls and floor around them to avoid harming the verpine themselves while stepping forward in front of Rhoden, still holding his saber and the insignia.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Rhoden was too busy fighting a--thankfully slight--dizziness and ringing noise to worry about how Neive had kept them from being thrown to the ground. He was not, however, too busy to let himself get shot by any opportunist Verpine. He raised his blaster but all he could see given his current position and the dust clouding his vision were Verpine shooting back at their masters. It would seem they were none to happy about being under the Sith's heel and had finally been given an outlet for retaliation.
He fired blindly in the direction their new allies were holding his weapon as steady as he could manage with one arm. With the other he patted himself looking for any grenades he had left. None. He did have his scout blaster but that was so insubstantial as to be laughable. "This," he said, "Is going to end very badly for us." he looked around for inspiration and found nothing--no longer could he even have the pleasure of blowing up some Sith with him. "Unless you've a plan, that is...?" he asked hopefully.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Blood gave himself over to the vehemence of the push the Dark Side lulled over him. The waves of sadistic solace engulfed him, and he felt the world sway in his mind. Everything shifted in a topsy turvy manner, taking on various shaped and forms, fallen Verpine sliding to an image that reflected so much more gore and massacre than it truly was. It pleased something in him, something absolute and merciless, as he stomped through sludges of emerald goo. More often than not, the occasional wall he passed as he stalked over these bodies and limbs began to heat up from the immense pressure living within him, and eventually as he neared them and past them, they would either begin to smoke or were already singed in various places, soot of varied degree marking haphazard places across the flat fixture. But everything warped to him, twisting and writhing in unnatural degrees that was punctuated by some otherworld's childish giggle. The asteroid was no longer an asteroid in his eyes...it wasn't natural, either. It was molten, fiery, volcanic and every step he took was a stride through lava, viscous liquid who's usual holdback was nothing on the man who was too emberous at heart. His irises gleamed a sort of glee that a hovering monster over a cornered and terrified child held, knowing he had these fools at his hand. They were going to pay for their insolence. And he would relish every single second of it.
Clawed obsidian boots made their mark as their own hooked toes scraped the steel of the floor, making dangerous flecks of sparks as the tenacity of their gait and strength of pullback was enough for ignition against the floor. In his own mind, however, ever step he took bore a fire, and from where he stood he could believe he made a trail of flames behind him.
In power, he was ready. And he knew as he neared, he felt how close Warvanus was closing in on the hunt. It was impeccable, and this would soon reap feed for all.
Swift he was to completely leave behind Rahab if she hadn't followed him; it was on her own accord, not his. If she hungered not for the glory of vengeance and discipline as he did, then she to would be left to play with the corpses behind her. If Raphael rathered to find himself another morsel in which to gorge upon, so be it. But this unending urge to send a soul to the Void was spurned from the very sight of Neive. Blood was going to unendingly torture this pest, and put heel to his neck, pushing harder and harder until something snapped and he felt it. Until Neive was gasping and pleading through the crimson sea pouring between those desperate lips. Blood would save Neive, and deliver him into the salvation of death, and however long of the road it took to get the zabrak there, he was going to make sweet, ruthless love to it until it was over.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
Raphael watched as the Verpine quickly turned coats and started firing towards him. He noted from now on that it seems the Verpine surely couldn’t be trusted. They would have a reckoning from his father once this situation was cleared up; it almost was too gruesome to think about. Nevertheless, Raphael kept his head down behind the barriers avoiding fire. He needed backup and fast, as it seemed they were closing in on him.
“Where in the galaxy is Warvanus!?” he thought to himself.
Raphael figured if Warvanus was not already here yet, maybe he converged on his fathers’ location already. The young man figured he would need backup and soon. Since Kressara was already covering his ship, maybe it would finally be time to break in his new Warbot.
Signaling to his datapad on his forearm, Raphael summoned the bot to move on his position and take down and Verpine that stand in its way. Raphael then dropped his concussion rifle and flicked off the safety of his wrist-mounted weapon. He really didn’t want to harm the Verpine, he found them to be most fascinating. But in times like this, they gave him no other choice.
Moving over the barricade, Raphael pointed his wrist down the hall and flicked on the flamethrower. Connecting with a good bit of the militia, Raphael roasted the Verpine till they either collapsed or ran the other direction. Fire consumed the hallway as it seemed the two had no way out but to face them.

Re: Retribution and Justice (Neive)
As he walked, he activated his PSG, he dont know how long or how far he walked in this tunnel, but slowly he approached what looked like a group of the Verpine traitors, they appeared to look like they were put there in reserve. “Fools” Thought Warvanus
As he approached he caught sight of two rocks about the size of a humanoids head, with the Force *telekinesis* he willed the rocks to rise and then launch at two different targets. The rocks struck two of the Verpine in the back of their heads the Force of the head trauma incapacitated them, did they live? Probably but they would not be troubling the Sith.
As two of the five fell, the other three turned around and opened fire, The Sith warrior was able to dodge or deflect the blaster shots sending them back to their source. It was now his turn as he launched himself at the three remaining Verpine. His lightsaber had no trouble making short work of the three surviving Verpine. One lost its head, one lost an arm and the third got stabbed through the chest, the blade had gone through its sorry excuse for armor. With them disposed of, he continued on.
It was a bit before he was now on Lord Blood’s position, he observed the happenings upon his arrival. “I apologize for the delay, apparently there was a group of these bugs they kept in reserve, but they are no more” He took in his surroundings as he contemplated what Lord Blood had planned for dealing with these intruders.
