The Next Move (Kita/Warv)

The Moon of Tibrin had proven to be a sanctuary, as the monks of the temple showed Warvanus and Silvanius hospitality at a level that the pair might not be used to, but Warvanus did not want to overstay his welcome. He had been thinking about this for awhile as he spent hours in meditation, trying to piece together the large gap in his memory. When he was not in meditation he was training and training Silvanius and doing preparations for constructing his own holocron.
At times when enemy forces were too close for his comfort, Warvanus employed the Force Mask technique, not hiding himself off from the Force but that any Force user would feel him through the Force but not able to identify him as a Sith or a Devotee of the Dark Side. It was a useful technique but one also the Jedi can employ which made not detecting them all the more dangerous.

He had been sitting in what was called his communication hub, screens setup in every direction as Warvanus was searching, researching for what only he himself alone knew.  Silvanius was progressing in her training not only in the martial arts but in the realm of the Force. It was a crime to see her training neglected for so long. Now it fell on Warvanus to shape her and mold her into a weapon worthy of service to the Emperor.
Without the Krath, Warvanus' eyes and ears were limited but he was also no longer the Right hand. The War-Bringer would make do. He leaned back in his seat reading the display on one of the screens. He really did not like being here while he appreciated the temple it just was under the wrong jurisdiction.  He would need to talk with Silvanius they could not stay here much longer.
He pushed all that mentally aside as he rose from his seat.  He looked at the table n the corner of the room where Akkan Burkida laid there, it was hungry he could feel it through the Force. It would have to wait, here and now was not the time to satiate the sith sword he had constructed.  He left the room, and headed towards the Dojo. He entered, not seeing anybody there, he took a seat on the mat, and meditated.

Silvanius had been awake for hours. In the room given to her by the monks, she sat on her bed sharpening the blade Warvanus had given her. She found the sound of the oil and stone brushing along the metal comforting, reminding her of the time spent with Jacobi in battle training.

Had it been her choice, the sith apprentice would have ran off long ago had she not known about the mandolorians existence. But Kita knew she couldn't leave him behind. "If my plan doesn't work...it would have been all for nothing...and what will I do when if I do manage to help Jacobi escape the darkness? Is it wise to go with him?...or stay behind?"

The thoughts plagued her mind with anxiety, causing her resting Nexu to quickly pick up his owners troubled thoughts. Walking up to Silvanius, Warv the Nexu licked her hand in comfort, pulling her out of her own private torture of decisions.

Looking up at her nexus concerning gaze, she smiled and rubbed him on the head. "I'm ok. You don't need to worry." Sighing, Kita set down her stone and wiped the oil off of her blade before sheathing it. "Love is just a hard emotion to carry and cope with. Thankfully you don't have to worry about that."

Hopping off the bed, Silvanius stretched out relieving her muscles from the long hours in one position. Grabbing her weapons, she armed herself and headed out of her room towards the Dojo. Her nexu not far behind in tow.

Silently she opened the door, peeking in to see if the war-bringer was waiting for her. Sure enough, he was, in the middle of meditation. Careful to not disturb her battle master, Silvanius sat on a nearby bench in wait for Warvanus to finish.

Sitting in silence next to his master, the Nexu Warv shook his pelt before stalking forward to the war-bringer. As he remained in meditation, the giant feline like beast gave out a loud growling deep purr, pushing his face affectionately into Warvanus shoulder.

"Warv!!! Leave him alone! Get back here!!" She hissed quietly. The Nexu lowered his ears at Kita, not sure whether to really come over or stay put. The giant feline wanted some of the war-bringers affection. And even though he was obedient to the silver clad apprentice, he was also a teenage Nexu with a need to sometimes be a stinker.

Warvanus could sense both the Nexu and his de-facto Apprentice approaching the Dojo. He had been meditating trying to peer
Into the Force but he might as well have been trying to push a moon with his bare hands for all the good it was doing him.
The Force rarely afforded its’ devotees of visions especially of the future. He could feel a weight on Silvanius. Not a physical
One but an emotional one. She was struggling with something. He would have to address it but now was not the time.

He felt something pressing into his shoulder, he did not flinch or move, but slowly opened his eyes as the Nexu returned to his
Owner.

“You have raised the Nexu well” he stated before slowly rising to his feet. He looked over the pair his expression
Neutral.

After a long moment before she had a chance to break the moment of silence Warvanus spoke “We cannot stay here” he began.
“We are not in Sith space and if this system’s overseers were to decide to come here we would have trouble. How soon can your ship be ready for flight” His own starfighter was docked with Gerross Industries, it was the name of his company. He had also learned his protocol droid KL-PK1 was also in Kahn’s care. This was good news. Right now he had nowhere else permanent to stash them.

“Even if it were Sith space this place would make us soft, we need an enviornment where we can train and the enviornment forge us into beings of durasteel” That and by the fires of their will. He quirked a brow

“ I am open to suggestions”

"You shouldn't bother anyone within meditation you giant furball." The Nexu tail twitched, ears lowered as she scolded him. Yet Kita couldn't stay mad. Smiling at her pet, she grabbed his chin and pet him lovingly.

"You have raised the Nexu well."

Silvanius looked up realizing the war-bringer had finished his meditation. She smiled at Warvanus, happy for his praise.

"We cannot stay here."
Silvanius cocked a brow in curiosity as he explained his concerns.

"Fair enough. I should have thought of that ahead of time before suggesting coming to Tibrin...but it was the only best place I could think of at the time to hide on such short notice." She replied calmly. "As for my ship...its pretty much already ready for travel. We just need to restock on food. Which I'm sure the monks can help us with before we leave. As for a suggestion on a different location..."

Silvanius had stopped to give it some thought before answering. In the past before the war-bringers disappearance, he had mentioned a certain world. Though briefly. And remembering from the maps she looked at, it was one set in Sith territory.

"How about Khar Delba?"

"Fair enough. I should have thought of that ahead of time before suggesting coming to Tibrin...but it was the only best place I could think of at the time to hide on such short notice."

He shook his head “You do not need to defend your reasoning on choosing this place” he began “You chose well you knew this place would take us in, and they have, we do not need to bring hardships on the monks any longer than necessary we may need them down the road and we want our relations with the monks and masters to remain secure”

He told her this to not make her feel better, in truth if it were reversed he would have made the same choice. As far as he was concern there was no issue here he was explaining why they could not stay as much as he had wanted to it was time to move on. He did smile at the readiness of her ship. He also agreed with her about foodstuffs the monks would help where they could but always could buy more if needed.

He had paced around the dojo as they both thought of locations they could use and when she said Khar Delba he stopped in his tracks. This world was going to be his stronghold, as he had begun preperations to move his powerbase from the Primary world of Sojourn, which like the moon was in shambles, both occupants disgraced before the Sith and their power bases paid the price. Such was the way of things.

“Khar Delba would be perfect, it is distant enough, and strong in the Dark Side, and the freezing surface would definitely make for ideal training conditions, I can front the credits needed for a stronghold to be built, I believe there we might be able to use the ruins of the stronghold already on that world until a suitable place is built, one that would serve both our needs”

It was a perfect suggestion, Silvanius had chosen well, as the more he thought of that world, an expression formed on his face, not one he often used but it was just too perfect, Warvanus flashed his apprentice a smile. Once they were en-route Warvanus would reach out to the Anzati to have the preparations made.

Silvanius nodded in response, happy the war-bringer supported her decision to come here. Darth Warvanus words rang true. They shouldn't stay longer then what was absolutely necessary. "Agreed. It would be best we didn't take advantage and burn our bridge with the monks."

Sitting on his haunches, Silvanius Nexu purred a deep growl as the blonde haired apprentice stroked his head as Warvanus paced in thought.

“Khar Delba would be perfect, it is distant enough, and strong in the Dark Side, and the freezing surface would definitely make for ideal training conditions, I can front the credits needed for a stronghold to be built, I believe there we might be able to use the ruins of the stronghold already on that world until a suitable place is built, one that would serve both our needs."

Silvanius's brow cocked in curiosity. "Both are needs? How exactly is Khar Delba gonna help me? I'm more worried about you having a stable location to stay and do your buisness. Not myself surprisingly."

Getting up, the sith apprentice stretched herself like a feline, releasing the tension in her muscles before strolling over to the doors of the dojo. "I shall finish preparing the ship by letting the monks know we will be needing supplies and disembarking as soon as possible."

At the hangar, Silvanius had helped the monks load their needed supplies onto her ship and bowed in respect for their assistance.

Standing up straight, her fading blue gaze looked over at the War-bringer, her Nexu already aboard the ship awaiting for his owner. "You ready??" She asked.

He nodded “You need a place to train, I need a place to lay low, Khar Delba will suit both our needs” He had also let her know that already preperations were made, construction crews would begin construction immediately as well as some security personnel. Not to mention additional supplies.

"I shall finish preparing the ship by letting the monks know we will be needing supplies and disembarking as soon as possible."

He nodded, “I shall take leave of our host while you prep us for our departure, once I am done I will meet you at the hanger” With that he too left the dojo to find the Temple’s Grand Master

Warvanus had spent some time with the Grand Master of the Temple, as was the proper action to take when thanking a host. They had talked without incident. When done He had made his way to the bay. Akkan Burkida was sheathed to his back, his footsteps rang through out the hallway with every step. He approached and saw Silvanius waiting for him.

“You ready?” she had asked, he did not speak but gave her a nod and with that he boarded the ship, and took a seat as the ship did its pre-flight and take off.

=Once in Hyperspace=

“While on Khar Delba we will make use of the cave we took shelter in before, there is also the ruins of Naga Sadow’s stronghold. While I strongly suspect there will be nothing of value in there if needed we can make use of it.”

He then took out a datapad and brought up the hologram of the fortress Gerross Industries would construct. It was very similar to the stronghold he had on Sojourn’s primary but with obvious changes, in the original design he had a section designated for the Dark Lord he would do no such thing, no statues erected. The hanger was similar to the Temple’s, a platform would lower underground. His personal sanctuary and study would be larger. Once completed this place would be the beginning for the War-Bringer. Maybe his new stronghold, maybe a Sith Academy he would let the Dark Side decide. He looked at Silvanius

“ What do you think? He had pointed out areas designated for her, if she wanted them.

She watched as the war-bringer left and sighed. Silvanius nexu looked up at his owner, tail flicking slowly in response with the emotions rolling off the apprentice. It was obvious to warv the nexu she was exausted, and unhappy with what awaited in her training. "You ready to join me on a freezing cold planet?" The question was sarcastic. "Either I die by being run through with a blade or other sharp object..." Giving one last stroke to the nexu's head, she continued her statement. "Or die a frozen death."

As her hand glided off the giant feline, Silvanius casually made her way out of the dojo towards the hanger.

♡In Hyperspace♡

“While on Khar Delba we will make use of the cave we took shelter in before, there is also the ruins of Naga Sadow’s stronghold. While I strongly suspect there will be nothing of value in there if needed we can make use of it.”

After setting the ship on autopilot, she glanced over at Warvanus.
"Ah. Yes. The cave."
Thinking back on it, the area had been where Kita made her first kill as a sith. It wasn't a proud moment, but a turning point as a human being.
Her emotions had been blocked off as she practiced keeping a force barrier from her mind.

Silvanius had been expecting to train on Khar Delba with the war-bringer...but the last thing she expected was being offered her own area within his domain. She gave a small smile in response at the gesture. "Really? U sure? I mean, its your domain. I don't want to seem like I'm taking over your sanctuary."

Warvanus did notice the mental barrier when he tried to get a read on her emotions. He found it odd but not so much. Was there something there?  Something he would need to talk to her about at another time.

"I will have reign of an entire planet, I think being you are my ally and apprentice at least right now you should be afforded a section, I would not be here right now I don't think if it weren't for you.."  

It was true, he would still be locked away in a mental prison while Kell remained in control. Through his meditations he had learned this, and when he came to, it was revealed to him that the fragment that was Kell was destroyed.  One less thing for the warrior-king to concern himself with.

He had the same courtesy extended to him when he was an apprentice on Sojourn, who knows what would happen to Khar Delba would it remain his stronghold? would it turn into a new Sith Academy, that right now could be dangerous as under Tormentous' rule he would be destroyed on site.  With a new Dark Lord though he wondered if it would be different. For the present it would be wise if the War-Bringer laid low for now. He was believed to be dead and he had to keep that guise.

He studied Silvanius as he tried to read her in the Force he could sense her presence, even feel the power she embodied but nothing more. In time she would grow stronger and become an even more formidable Sith.  Once she came into her power and potential that is.   He then briefly wondered how Tormentous would react to know that he was training his chosen apprentice.  Such thoughts were of vanity and not practical. He brought his focus back to the here and now.

Once on Khar Delba , well getting established would be paramount. The Force will reveal its will from there.

Silvanius knew it wouldn't be very polite to not accept the war-bringers offer, for that would show disrespect in her mind. "Alright then. I happily accept your offer then." She replied smiling. Just make sure I have a nice place to inside my quarters set for my baby Nexu here" she added as she pet the large catlike beast head.

"construction crews are already enroute to begin work, in the meantime we will use the cave, and your ship and if we can find the downed shuttle from our last visit that would also serve our needs as well."

Silvanius nodded in response to Warvanus. "Yes but this time we shouldn't have any issues where we have to leave early." She joked partly. Really the Sith apprentice did not want much trouble this time around as they hung out on Khar Delba. "I may have to leave every so often for awhile at a time however so the new Dark lord doesn't ask where I've been. I'll have to think up some good story or something to fill my time away from the citadel."

Silvanius did not want to attract Silas or any other Sith to the war-bringers new hiding place.
