I really don't wanna...
Zechs really didn't want to move anything. It was always so much work. The loading. The securing. The paperwork. The emo rage of the docking port's commanding supervisor of nothingness.
It didn't change that his old faithful YT was having its hold filled up with some stuff of some sort. The details were a little iffy. It was Alliance cargo, not his. It could have been a secret data cache hidden amongst infinite chips for all he knew. That might make it interesting. It could have been just meal rations for the guys stuck on some barren moon. Why was he doing this again?
It might have been beneath him to some degree, but it was an honest time's work. And as the last of the cargo was secured, Zechs popped into the cockpit and began the departure procedures. Step 1 was to let his escorts know that he was about to get underway. He didn't want to leave them behind. That might be bad.

Skywalker One
The beautiful, jet-black A/SF-01 B-wing assault starfighter sat in the hangar beside the silvery YT-2000 light freighter Scintillance that was currently under the command of Zulara Rainwalker. Murph and O.M.5 were on board as Bigweld 2.0 and Drop assisted in the loading of the cargo they intended to ship this mission.
Inside the cockpit of the elegant B-wing, one Jedi Knight Annan Anakin Rainwalker tested the flight controls one by one, as he gazed at his only starfighter wistfully. He had been rather taken with the spacecraft - and no one blamed him, for it was a beauty - ever since he had gotten it, and today would be its maiden voyage.
The maiden voyage of Skywalker One.
Moisture farmer. Pilot. Hero. Hope. Legend. Grand Master Jedi. Ani had named it after none other than the Grand Master Luke Skywalker himself. That was the man - many today, three decades after his mysterious disappearance, thought him a myth - that Jedi Knight Annan Rainwalker looked up to and was inspired by; whom he tried to emulate. Whose holocrons and manuals the young Jedi had studied most extensively, whose legacy Ani had always attempted to live up to. He who defeated the first Emperor and the most terrifying behemoth in Sith history by throwing away his lightsaber; who, unlike the Jedi of old, was not afraid of the Darkness, but had the power to see within its very depths the Light that no one else could.
Last of the old Jedi, and the First of the new.
Jedi Rainwalker flipped the last of the flight controls before contacting Zulara on his YT-2000. "Scintillance, this is Skywalker One; I'm ready when you are."

The Blue Star Pirates, who maintained a somewhat loose understanding with the Galactic Alliance, would sometimes offer assistance where it was needed. Though the Galactic Alliance was more than capable of assigning escort duty on small convoys such as this, the Blue Star Pirates were more than happy to contract out their services in the name of keeping the spirit of kinship alive. In this instance, Buggie and his trusted companion, Gary Storm, had even leased out the Action V transport Outland 02 to improve the Alliance's hauling capabilities. From what Buggie understood, the cargo was a stockpile of valuable chips destined for an Alliance base. These chips were produced from a rare potato that only grew on some nameless world in the Outer Rim Territories. The nutritional value of the tubers was said to be tremendous, so they would sustain the moon installation for months to come.
The real reason why Buggie was escorting the shipment was that there was a Galactic Alliance fugitive hidden deep within the mounds of spuds inside one of the Alliance cargo holds. This fugitive was a communications system architect that had indulged in tapping into private celebrity holofeeds one too many times using loopholes of his own design. The Blue Star Pirates needed him free, and there was no easier way to get him off the planet than having a Galactic Alliance transport do it for them. Once he was delivered at the destination, he would simply catch a ride on the Outland 02 and, as a means of repayment, lend his expertise to the Blue Star Pirates on a special project.
Within the cockpit of his StarViper-class attack platform designated Bandit 01, Buggie waited patiently for the convoy to lift off.

The Deceiver began to lift off the ground as Zechs took a sip of a special Corporate brew imported directly from Bonadan into his mouth. Space took them. Bob's x-wing was on its way as well, but it was the brew that drew Zechs upward. War. Peace. Life. Details. They were enough to drive anyone to drink.
The droid did the math. The computer did the condoling. The comm system did the spreading of all that spicy data around the other ships. The jump was almost ready. They just had to be elsewhere and elsewhen when it came time to punch the buttons and do that thingy they did so well.
Zechs watched the distance to the nav-beacon narrow without a single word to his fellow convoy-mates. Something just felt wrong talking to them sober. They hadn't even called to say hi, but he hadn't either. They all had more important things to do like check their holds, button down the hatches, and refill their cups. Chatting could wait till they landed where they were going. Then maybe, Zechs would take them all out for a drink on him. Financially, not physically. That would be weird.

Rhoden once more found himself in the cockpit of the YT-2000 freighter, which he had recently and fondly named the Firehawk. Seated beside him was Haly, and Jorvan manned his usual turret. Flying off the Firehawk's flank was the form of an XG-1 Starwing, piloted by Sylwen Raya.
They had received information about another convoy and while the Hydra was not fast enough to respond Rhoden had taken one of the Starwing's and his personal ship to investigate. With any luck there would be further support along shortly, with even more luck the information would lead them to a successful raid.

Roll, adjust, thrust. Roll, adjust, thrust. Doren realized the maneuver over and over again, milling about his spaceborne associates as if it were a starfighter drill. The previous failures to defend Imperial cargo had weighed heavily upon the young officer, and even in the moments leading up to an ambush, he was determined to hone his skills with practice and due diligence. The XM-1, powerful though it was, would prove useless in the hands of an amateur. Vassyl had no delusions of achieving true mastery, yet if he continued to flex his flying muscles, he fervently believed he might achieve a considerable measure of growth. No, it was not belief, but rather a need for improvement that spurred the Captain onward. Local pirates and Extra-Imperial rogues had remained unchecked for too long, and the time was rapidly approaching for a swift reckoning. And this interception, if successful, would do well to further that goal.

Lieutenant "Baron" dropped his Tie-D into formation with the rest of the Imperial raiding party. With it came an ATR-6 holding pace with Commander Carbine's YT. Baron was more than ready to kick the teeth of the convoy Inferno leader had picked up on, especially after the casualties sustained on the Black Star less than a month prior
"Commander, I'm on your six," he spoke into the comms, staring out the cockpit at the blue glow of the back end of the YT. "My guns are in need of something to shoot, so you better have some targets."
He took a deep breath and dawned his Force mask, he needed to stay calm and his connection to the Force right now could cause issues here if he lost that calm. Best for him to just distance himself from his own connection till this ordeal was over.

Re: I really don't wanna...
After the last raid on their cargo the higher ups had enough of pirates. This time information came in over the wire that this was a much smaller shipment force for the pirates. Brutus was a little better prepared to handle this, he'd been hard at work practicing with the droid and simulations.
"Alpha behind you." She said over the com. Kota sat ready her force presence masked, but she knew Brutus was much more in control than the last time. With reports of a much smaller shipping party this should go much smoother than the last time they had shipped.

Flying was no stranger to Solle, he was born to fly, it's in his blood to do so. While granted of a new higher rank brought him many stress and worry to maintain and serve well by the name, it was a relief for Solle to be where he was, not on the ground but soaring. "Don't worry, I'm here" He spoke through the comms of the Imperial raiding party, flying right beside raiding party. His ship was none other than the TIE Avenger known as the Serenity, a ship that brought speed an firepower in it's wake and it was peaceful to fly in or for Solle, Serenity . "I do hope I'm not late this time." he spoke to the Grand Inquisitor by comms, jokingly of course. As Solle waited for the "go" to start the raiding. Solle joking demeanor was replaced with a more serious tone, despite being well-trained in flying, he knew that he shouldn't get cocky nor let his guard down for a nano-second for those who are flying. This he knew very well from the experiences he had been through.
