Rhoden smiled to himself. Some might see it as trivial, climbing back up the ranks when he was years ahead of most others in the fleet, Rhoden however had understood too well he might someday have to claw his way back up after having his records altered. Of course no one around knew about that anymore, nor would they believe him if he attempted to explain the situation. Instead he contented himself to performing his assignments with deadly expertise.

"I have no direct questions, though I will require any information relevant to my attack." Rhoden said, nodding to the Captain.

The young Captain. Rhoden had seen the glory days of the Empire, had been promoted quickly himself albeit under more severe conditions and as more properly a threat than reward. he grimaced at the thought of those days, he had been competent enough then, yet he'd been a fool. Captain Vassyl might well be young, but Rhoden had full confidence in the man.

Rhoden frowned inwardly. He would, however, have to become used to treating him as the superior officer he was...

"As to the exact location of your individual targets", Doren renewed, hefting up a small crate from beneath his line of sight and onto the table, "you will find all the necessary coordinates located in these data disks". With the flick of a switch the larger box popped open, revealing several black information drives and player devices to accompany them. "To reiterate, the element of surprise is our most vital weapon in this upcoming attack", the Captain emphasized "such being the case, the specific geographic intel will only be made known to commanding staff. These drives will play once and once only, providing all the major details you might require to arrive at your objective". Central communication would remain ever active throughout the operation, but any outgoing transmissions would receive several coded relays, rerouting them through neighboring systems and avoiding any moderate detection.

Vassyl strained his neck to look about at the masked inquisitor, and offered a polite smile, "To be sure, I have no doubts of your skill M'lady, and hence I know how valuable your support would prove in the main ground offensive. Our agents' mission, if accomplished, would not be without its handsome rewards, yet if we succeed in taking the Objective Omega at large it won't much matter". Doren's expression darkened for a moment, "In the thick of battle, if our troops get bogged down or in the unattractive event of a retreat, your presence could mean the difference between life and death. I trust our operatives with the task I've allotted them, and I trust you may find it in you to tolerate that judgment all disagreements aside". The Captain spoke truthfully, and he was certain Kota could sense as much. In a perfect world, Vassyl would send her on all sorts of ungodly errands, making full use of her unique abilities. That however, was unrealistic, and unfair to the Grand Inquisitor. They were headed into enemy territory, and Doren was determined to channel his followers into venues where he could best provide reconnaissance and oversight.

"Very well." She said, but then moved towards the commander. When she was close enough she bent to his ear so no one else could hear. "There is another concern more quiet to discuss." She whispered. Lady Kota wished all to be addressed, but this one might not be there, so it was best not to address it openly.

The new recruit almost collapsed just there right now as the captain addressed him with a rather generous position. A First Lieutenant already?! Solle yelled in his mind. To most accustomed workers on the ship would be thankful and even happy at this but Solle was just a pilot, how can he lead a professional squadron while he was just gained the position of First Lieutenant! He hopes deep inside the captain knows what he is doing with this sudden idea...

Solle cleared his throat as he began speaking "Thank you, Captain." Solle managed to say, grabbing the case and taking a look at it. He gently closed the case, managing to recollect his mind back together once again. He looked at a new set of items that the Captain himself had brought up to the table. So now that he has a set of instructions to go over about, and the coordinates, Solle had very few questions left to ask. "If I may sir, I have an small thought that just occurred in this shipyard will there be a communication tower of some sort? I just would like to know a couple of things about the area that I am going to assault before I go on about this mission. " The Lieutenant asked right before giving another question to the Captain "And where will I meet my squadron's pilots at?" He will need to get antiquated with some of the pilots he will be working with, during his pilot days in Naboo, he had learned that without a strong bond built between squad mates, you are practically dead out there on the skies. So building a bond will strengthen the morality of the people Solle will be leading and most likely prevent unnecessary deaths on the battle. Otherwise, with no trust or anything, the pilots themselves might endanger the whole mission together and bring disaster for everyone on this mission.

The commando droid's photoreceptors lit up as Doren's package slid across the table towards him. Scooping up the small box with a gloved hand, the droid eyed it as if it were some precious jewel.
((( You will not be disappointed, Commander. )))
Raising one arm in a mechanical salute, 33-5H4 put down the box before assuming a more statue-esque posture. After several minutes had passed, 33-5H4 relaxed and folded his arms pensively.
((( Is there any tactical data about our bombing targets, Commander? I would not deem it advisable that an entire bomber wing jump to their co-ordinates with no knowledge of what it is they're going to be flying through, ))) stated the droid.

Agent XX listened carefully to the Captain's briefing, it reminded him of the many Imperial Intelligence briefings he'd been through years prior. Full of code names and limiting the actual information spoken aloud. He continued to hold his tongue as several of the military men received sudden promotions, he once again slipped into memories of watching talented individuals rise through the ranks.

Everyone began to ask question of the good Captain to which he replied with coded data cards. Agent XX reach over retrieving his and handing it off to his partner. The two of them would listen to it once they were alone again. He had no questions at this point, he'd wait to see if Vassyl had anything more to say in response to the extra questions brought on by the military men and the Grand Inquisitor.

"Long-range scanning and previous reconnaissance would suggest as much Lieutenant", Doren answered back to Solle with a nod "You will meet up with your squadmates several hours prior to the attack, in a location specified on your assigned datadisk". A slight grin curled round Vassyl's face in light of his subordinate's observant denunciations; Solle possessed a keen mind, the sort one needed for piloting and skills of that nature. Though he was relatively green, that hadn't stopped others from excelling: not unlike the Captain at one time or rather. Doren then refocused on his droid associate, and addressed him, "Most of what you need will be located on your datadisk Lieutenant 33; that said, Agent XX and his allies will mark potential targets along the way in anticipation of your arrival. Furthermore, once the main assault fleet arrives, we will launch all available probes down into the lower orbit prior to your launch to provide a digital readout of the capital".

Despite his various assurances, Vassyl could not deny that intel on the site was patchy to say the least. The system in question lay three to four hyperspace jumps away from the Imperial border. Initially, the Captain had intended for a greater level of infiltration. However, so virulent was his commitment to the surprise attack that he, faced with an agonizing decision, chose to avoid a sounder reward to reduce potential risks of discovery. Taking a quick moment to breath and collect his thoughts, Vassyl paused, and stared off into the far wall. He then stood up abruptly, and without locking his gaze with anyone in particular, announced, "If you will all excuse me, there are some additional matters I must discuss with Grand Inquisitor. If you have any further questions, please comm my private line, and be as vague as possible when doing so". With a click of his heels and a swift salute, Doren concluded, "I pray for our mutual success, and a wholesome victory: dismissed", and started for the back exit that fed into a smaller, private antechamber.

With the majority of the quests answered and the commander answering them she followed when he got up to go to more quiet Chambers. She would wait till they got there and the door closed before addressing him. Kota locked the chambers behind her, because what she was to say was important and didn't need interruption. "I apologise, but this didn't need to be brought up before your officers. There is potential of the Jedi aiding the Alliance in this situation, while the Jedi are not a threat in whole there is one among them that could exposed me if present, the verpine, master Buggie. If he does so I can not protect you or Argus who's on his mission from anyone who might want to kill you for allowing this. I might not be able to even escape if such a thing where to occur." She said. It was a huge risk on multiple lives if the Jedi master was there and choose to expose her.

Rhoden sat in silence through the rest of the meeting, observing the rest of the group. The droid he had worked with before, and while an unusual being for an officer Rhoden had faith in its abilities. The newly minted Lieutenant seemed nervous, and lacked self-confidence but as Rhoden casually opened his record he knew the boy would perform his duties well.

Rhoden's attention turned to the agents, XX and Forest Imp. XX Rhoden knew nothing about, which was of course the point. Forest Imp, however, was a female with a familiar carry and figure. Dismissing the intelligence operatives as beyond his concern he turned his full attention to the Inquisitor. She was an odd and enigmatic aspect of the Empire, and with this operation bringing their lines of work together Rhoden hoped for a chance to study her.

He watched as the Captain and the Inquisitor left the room, and stood himself. A nice cup of tea and an evening planning another step in the downfall of the Rebellion lay ahead, but before his evening could start...

"Lieutenant Ozrok." Rhoden said, stepping up to the young man. "I've been reading over your service record, it's good to see the Empire still has the best pilots in the galaxy." he continued. "I look forward to working with you in the future." Rhoden smiled, his eyes unblinking. The boy could fly, but it wouldn't do anyone good if he collapsed on the job.

Doren pursed his lips and furled his brow as he listened to Kota's lament. Though he hated to admit it, the Captain was prone to overlooking the political gravitas of the Grand Inquisitor's precarious position. Those of the Old Guard that knew of her from a previous life no doubt continued to nurse a hefty grudge, the likes of which could easily spur an assassination attempt or worse. Granted, with Argus' promotion to Grand Admiral, his naval faction had obtained a good deal of sway both on and off the record. Nonetheless, Vassyl sympathized with Kota's concerns, and the emotional charge of the moment was not lost on him. While remaining silent, Doren leaned back further into his seat, and continued to meditate on the unforeseen, yet pressing matter. At last, Vassyl expression contorted into a less troubled, more neutral complexion, and he softly answered, "You really needn't apologize M'lday; if this is to prove an error in oversight, then it is I that will end up owing you recompense. I understand how precious, and similarly how lethal a possession your identity is. As a courtesy to you first and foremost, I should not be so vain as to dash it on the rocks".

A physiological glumness ebbed its way onto Vassyl's face as he paused before adding, "At the same time, your presence on the ground could mean the difference between total occupation and a routing defeat. This prize which we hope to claim, if acquired, could radically alter the very flow of this war. If you go forth, fighting under our banner, rallying the troops on for all to see, perhaps it may just leave a new impression--". Doren stopped himself once more, and conceited an unhappy sigh: who was he attempting to fool? Only himself he wagered. Even if Kota delivered heads of the rebellion on a silver platter, it might only provide a passing grace from the council who would otherwise mean her ultimate harm. The Captain ran a reflex hand down his face in an open act of frustration, before returning to his applied coolness, concluding, "If I may, I invite you to look at this from another angle M'lady: chiefly, that of our alleged enemy. I do not know Master Buggie personally, and I have no doubt our scruples would differ greatly on certain points. However, I am not unfamiliar with his Jedi dogma, and the moral ethics to which he subscribes. If he sought our active defeat, I wonder if he would only go so far as to best us in combat instead of more underhanded trickery. He is no Sith, of that we can be sure, and as our foes are so want to establish moral hegemony, it would be personally damning for him to expose you and leave you for persecution would it not?".
