How to train a Sith(Open)

Lightsabers lit up, but the Masters waved them away. "It's not what you think. Her species is Sith, her species is extinct save her. I'll take your questions as she can't understand basic without her droid." The master said still standing behind her. Kubu looked at the boy who was asking questions in her tongue.

"Qeuma, kodel dary nenx j'us zenoti sis?" She asked. (Ziost, why don't you know this?) Kubu didn't understand how someone didn't know her species or of her species. Her kind was history after all, so this made no sense to her.

"Ar j'us buti keta, Nu vykti jri zarchas heyenebigea kurvas is latraha ir tau mokyti tu'iea khutrai." (If you're wondering, I took an ancient civilizations class in school and they taught your language.) He looked at her. "Kam buti tu'iea vadinti?" (What's your name?)

Ooc: hi would like to point out flaws in this story kubu's species has been extint since roughly 5000 BBY. Most modern sith or "new" sith as she calls them don't speak or understand ancient sith exactly. So to her your dialect will be off and a few words might be missing here or there. Also I highly doubtful that ancient sith is taught unless you're going to major in dead languages even then it's doubtful that anyone can teach it correctly. Just wanted to let you know.

Ic: As the Padawans asked there questions she sorta tuned them out. 'This boy is weird. He talks funny.' She thought as he spoke of some weird class to learn her language. Then he asked for her name or at least that's what she got from it. Kubu couldn't tell from his slurring. "Kubu." She said. (That is the translation.)

The other master noticed that the boy and her were having a conversation, but let it go. It seemed good at least on some level someone could talk with her without her needing a translation all the time?

(OoC: Roger that. Thanks!) (IC) Stavros looked at the droid. "Kait letas zinot j'us savas tu'iea doroti?" (How long have you owned your droid?)

[Kubu Midwan]

His slurring was getting in the way, she heard. "Mazo tu'iea virha voci." He said. ( So your mom sucks.) Is what she heard with his slurring. "Nuyak motina mriajas j'us shavit!" She shouted. (My mother died you shavit!) The master stopped talking. Something clearly had happened with the two conversations. "What happened?" He asked the Droid. "He insluted her mother or at least that's what I understood. His slurring is impossible to determine if that's what was really said.

The master understood. "Let's get her a room, some food, and clothes." He said as he began to guide her from the situation. "Tym buti anyasirsu j'us zo lavonin, kair rostia, ir drobe." The Droid said. (He's getting you a room, some food, and clothes.) She gave the angry eyes at the boy as the master guided her.

He looked shocked and confused as what she thought he said. He chased after the droid. "Hey!" He saw the droid turn around. "Can you please tell her that I didn't say anything about her mom? I didn't mean to make her upset!"

[Kubu Midwan]

The Droid poked her to stop. She looked with the master guiding her. "Tym dary nenx nun kam tym zodis lig tu'iea virha." The Droid said. (He didn't me what he said about your mom.) Kubu eyed the boy. "Wo sekleti nenx byloti zo khutrai ar tau gal nenx byloti zhol status." She said. (One shouldn't speak a language if they can't speak it right) Kubu started to walk again.

The master followed guiding her to a room that would be her's. "This will be your room, there's some robes in the closet to try. Once you find a size, more can be made for you. I'll be back when dinner is ready." The master said. " Pa sayu yikyr buti tu'iea lavonin, ilsir kair ruban is tave ragaâha kia sari. Kaxai j'us xauti zo bnoas, vel gal buti fasona nuo j'us. Nu valia buti atgal tikazi yuncutherzeyr buti guvus." The Droid translated for her.

(OOC: Is your character speaking more of High Sith or regular Sith?) (IC) Stavros watched as she walked off, glad that she knew that he didn't mean to insult her, but felt bad that he couldn't talk with her clearly. 'Hmm... Maybe if I go to the Jedi Temple's library, they'll have some information on the language.' He began to lumber towards the library, being careful not to step on anything or anyone.

Ooc: She speaks ancient sith, probably more like high sith. However it doesn't matter what the translator has, Sith is a very lost language in the current time line. No one not even the sith Lord can speak it correctly 100%. So that's why I had her hear slurring when your character spoke. Hope I make sense. Kubu was locked up in a very special oubliette, thus why she even exists. She's 27,801 years old as far as time is concerned.



Ic: She didn't bother with the closet, she figured it didn't matter what she wore. Kubu had been wearing her own clothes since she was free of the casket. 'Perhap I should clean them though.' She thought. It has been a long time since she had even seen water. She looked around for a pool, but there wasn't any in the room. "Kait dary Nu itik valyti?" She asked the Droid. (How do I get clean?)

The Droid pointed to the side room. "Tave lavonin stai." The Droid said. (The room here) she went over to look. The room had strange things on the floor and walls. Kubu was confused. "buti nenx antai kais zo kitcnizas ax liza?" She asked. (Isn't there like a pool or lake?") The Droid didn't know.
