A Contest for Cannibals [Kat]

Post by Slade Xandir » Thu Apr 08, 2021 11:40 pm

---------After Rally---------
A lonely road was where most lost souls tended to wander. But The Hunter chose the straight path, the path that led directly to the place where many came to either be killed, or born again. A place where he should have died, but in fact, did not. Neither was he born again in this place. No, Slade had merely missed the scythe of reaping for that moment, only to feel the blade of it against his throat moons ago. Several, in fact. Yet to him, it seemed like just yesterday when he was beaten to nigh a puree, and expected to rise again. However, even that was not his rebirth. His rebirth lay when his Sire and unioned with his Mother once more, her revelation unto him that his secondary entity mindset was just that - a mindset. Blood had been nothing more than a scapegoat to blame the hallucinations on, the inability to cope with the trauma Krynn had gifted him. Blood was none other than himself, and should her lingering fragments within his fractured mind not told him this, he never would have suspected otherwise. He had to learn through her, that he had no one left to blame but himself, all these years. Her trauma had ruined him enough to bear Force capabilities, and he thanked her every passing day for the pain of it. Tormentous, his Sire, had given him precisely no room to falter, any longer. It was through multiple hells that he was dragged through, in which he dusted himself off, and prepared for the next. The Dark Lord had chiseled the dull chinks free, and taken off the bandaids Slade had foolishly worn, to proudly show his scars to the world. His Hunter had survived his tribulations up to this day, and still stood. Slade would have nothing more than to do the King proud, and lay his polished skull upon his own Throne for all to marvel, and fear his Son who sat upon it. Slade had still so much to learn from the pair of his makers, and with every step through Moraband, he trialed himself in the Dark Lord's despicable domain land.

It took atleast 2 nights full for him to finally arrive upon the maintained stairs of the gothic fortress, the Emperors' castle. He knew this massive place, and even from the stairs, basic slabs of stone and hidden metalwork, Dark Side energy bled from the porous face of every block. To step further into this place was to will the Dark Side take you whole, unless you were able to sustain yourself against the influence of it all. Many lives were slain on these grounds, and Slade remembered how many times these very stairs ran red with the lifeblood of many.

Finally, up the multiple stairs that led into the front face of the giant domain, of course it was heavily guarded. Massassi of all tints of fiery crimson lay in silent wait for their shifts to be relieved, yet their halberds and Sith Swords were primed to decapitate and eviscerate any who were deemed even intolerable to them, let alone traitors. Mr. Xandir was immediately identified on sight, and the beady black eyes of the Sith specie remnants turned back to their duties. He continued on, his goal in mind the throne room itself. He had such a journey left to continue.

Kita sat at the Hearth of her Master's Throne room staring at the burning embers, Kita's mind dwelled on her training sessions and recent mission with Lord Tormentous. The Sith apprentice had been slightly impressed and uneasy with the Massassi being added to the Sith. It mean't more numbers were added for future invasions, and more protection for her master and the Sith. Never before had Kita been more interested in the things Tormentous showed her up until now. It wasn't something Kita necessarily pursued, but she wanted to find out more of what the Sith could do.

Her hands grasped at her vibrolance that sat in her lap. Having just finished her own meditation session, Kita had yet to move as she had her mind elsewhere.

Slade had eventually made it to the most regal room illustrated to guests and unfortunate visitors. He had gazed his single good eye on the grandeur of such a room, though it were utmost invisible to the basic eye. As had almost every piece of this marveling fortress, lives had been taken here. Lives had been taken everywhere within this kingdom, and Slade knew his Sire had oftentimes hosted rituals to sacrifice worthless slaves to increase the hull of Dark Side that already stifled everything within this place. While fires lit braziers, the heart of the warmth came from the hearth, a place most often and immediately lit to combat the chill Tormentous bled across everything. Or even to toss some meager being into, every now and then, he mused as he watched a femur shift charred in the mess of coals. Behind the waft of smoke however, Slade felt he was not alone. And even as he was getting back used to wielding the Force, he was still not used to having it. He probably never would be. He had to reformat his mind into accepting that he was now, in fact, a living anomaly. Someone who was not meant to have the Force, but would be melded with it, regardless. He would have to relearn how to use it. And steadily, he called out to it, and steadily -
it answered.

His mental eyes felt the room as a whole, softly and silently reaching out in a wide arc, encompassing the soul that was involved in her daydreams. He silently felt her out as he neared her vicinity, only to keep his inquisitive influence on her to learn what he could, then move on. Indeed, he learned who she was, and moved on. The Hunter had nothing to do with her as of this moment, only offering her a respectful dip of crown as he walked closer to the stairs leading up to the seat. He did not step upon them, but instead stood at the base, and inhaled what he could that the Dark Side offered him in this cursed place. It revealed to him quite a bit. It was thick, and residue of the Dark Lord's cold Force aura hung upon it like a leftover living sinister cape. Already the temptation of the Throne was enough to get inside of his head. But the Hunter knew patience. His time would come, one day.

"Is he in your thoughts, as well?" His smooth baritones danced somber over the warm sandstone of his prior Master's flooring, back turned to the kneeling woman while he faced the throne behind her.

Kita had felt the man's presence before he had entered the room, but had ignored it. The Sith apprentice had seen him before...back when getting the Massassi. Kita hadn't cared much to talk to the man. She was to busy trying to carry out her orders from her master Lord Tormentous at the time.
Yes, he was an attractive male, missing eye n all, but this didn't mean anything to the young sith apprentice. What mattered to her was what was he planning to do within the sith. What was his goal? That was the only thing truly bothering Kita in the back of her mind. She kept a calm and straight face however as she continued to stare on as if the man didn't exist at all as he nodded in respect, much like everyone else in the Sith had been treating him since his arrival.

Still, despite what it seemed, Kita did acknowledge his presence, but feigned that he wasn't there to observe him for herself. For ignoring the man would mean she had let her guard down. And Jacobi had warned her to not trust anyone...and with good reason. She couldn't trust anyone in the Sith. Not even her own master.

Indeed Kita felt his mind reaching out, observing her in turn. She could hear his footsteps stop just below her Master's throne, admiring every part of it and no doubt in her mind wanting it. What Sith didn't? That seemed to be the main objective in the Sith besides getting stronger and overruling the galaxy. Did Kita desire the throne? Not now she didn't. But no doubt as the darkside continued lingering around her, she might have desired to sit upon the throne of skulls one day.

As he spoke, she knew who he asked about. His voice having no affect on her as it reached her ears. No one knew about Jacobi, so he had to be talking about her master Tormentous. "Perhaps." She replied. "Why do you ask?"

Slade felt the lack of regard, and wondered what trend of students Tormentous had decided to go for when he had selected this one. He had roved her body walking in, mentally noting her attire, and the snob in him was slightly ... impressed? Yet the practical aspect lacked, and unless the girl was fully able to defend her most intimate zone, she would have managed to get herself completely eviscerated. All of her most vital organs were offered on a silver platter, so to cheekily speak. She was young, his mind curled a serpentine tongue over the possible age she would range. Her cycles could not have even been legal, were they? How far into her training was she? Where was she acquired from? How had she come across his former Master? The Hunter's mind was abuzz with questions, all aimed voraciously for Kita's throat. For her to use, to speak, of course.

His pause was due to his thinking, him trying to figure a better angle to assess her without coming free of his camouflage. He crossed scarred arms over a lean chest, basic charcoal cotton tee fitting him well on his bulkier athletic form. "I was, too." He lied. He was more or less wondering what her narrative was, and he had spent quite a few days wondering why she had cast him such a sour look that day. Was it the ire of his Sire breeding so easily into her? He was rather contagious. Atleast when it came to his energy, his motives, his drive. Slade had wanted nothing, when he first came into the Sith. When Kroxata had pulled him free from a basic life, and thrust him before Tormentous, he was in need of nothing. Craved nothing, but basic survival. He and Volkair, his deceased garral, had lived simple lives. But now? It had been because of Tormentous that he wanted everything. Tormentous had told him to throw it all away, his businesses, his connections, his cylindrical travel of hitman work for credits. To cast it away, and grasp fate by the throat. To squeeze until even the gods, the devils, the FORCE gave him what he took those bloody steps for-

He turned and cast a heavy golden eye upon his Father's latest Chosen.
What did he tell her? And how has she grown, since? What had she come from? And was it willingly?

"Just curious about you. Not to sound weird or anything. I live to learn." From what he had garnered so far, she didn't seem hostile. Perhaps a bit extra with her fashion, but who was he to talk? He combined his dna with that of dragons, and even ate other Sith. One of them being the very man who got him into the Sith, and the other being his childhood partner within the Corvione. He also almost ate an Imperial, and a few others. But that was then. This was now. She was now. And he wanted to know all about what was in now. His Sire's latest craze, the shiny new toy-
The old toy was merely inquiring.
Making conversation.
Trying to learn.

" Feel free to interrogate me as much as you'd like... I'll hold nothing back." And he was a man of his word.

Perhaps it was experience. Kita had met many types of personalities, many types of people while growing up on Tibrin with her parents. And this man was one of the types she actually "hated" in all sense of the word. She had seen this type many times. Putting on a show of smiles and smooth clever words oh so carefully to bypass all they had met. Most, if not all, believing every single word that fell from their mouth. Manipulating, calculating, toxic by all means. Spreading like a venom throughout the veins of its victims slowly overtaking their minds with lies and deceit. Arrogance however is what oozed the most from Slade. That is what turned her away from this man the most. Even with all he had lost and from what she had heard, Kita sensed his intentions to slither his way into her life like a serpent making its way to attack its prey, devouring it whole. She wasn't going to allow being that victim.

Kita didn't dare smile, but looked over at him with an emotionless expression. "Well then, if you wish to see my master, you will have to wait. He is currently busy." She replied. Both remained in brief silence before the dark haired man's golden gaze met hers. His interest in her brought many questions but also she wasn't surprised. She had heard rumors Slade had been her master's old apprentice. Meaning even though he wasn't anymore, he remained a threat in Kita's book to her position. And she needed to stay on top to continue looking out for Jacobi while in training with Tormentous.

Indeed the sith apprentice instincts were correct. He had been observing her. "Be careful then. Curiosity killed the Nexu." She said seriously. Kita was pretty sure her master didn't talk much about her background with the other sith when it came to personal details on their meeting and background a year ago. Which was fine with her. Kita felt more comfortable leaving people in the dark and guessing. Despite her seemingly uninterested behavior towards Slade, he continued the conversation by letting her know she was welcome to ask questions. Which of course Kita preferred to go to the source for her information rather than rumors. Raising a brow at him, she had a few questions come to mind. "How long were you my Master's apprentice? And what exactly did you do to be cast aside by my Master?" If anything those two questions were reasonable since not much had been said on the details since he had shown up again within the sith. She had remembered seeing Slade's statue in the entryway of Lord Tormentous Citadel.

Slade could feel her reservations about him, and as he silently waited, his patience and idle conversation were not returned. She knew better. Brick by brick with each second passing, her guard had been built against him. And if it hadn't have been so easily felt, he would have assumed she were merely checking him out as well. But no - she had gotten her defense primed against him, already her view of him reserved.
Good.
His lips imperceptibly slid a smile at their corner, invisible to the eye unless up close, before it had vanished completely in a blink. He appreciated her not being so quick to trust him. Not every creature that smiled was friendly. And he was certainly included, to a degree. Now, however, his hunt was over. He had located her, and within the most monumental room between them as a pair of Tormentous' underlings, they stood and spoke to one another. Threatened one another, whether it be with words, or energy, alone. They were both creatures looking for the other's throat, and whether it would be now they would strike that vital spot, or later down the line, one of them would not be able to continue on. Curiosity killed the Nexu, yes...

"But satisfaction gave her a redo.", he solemnly finished, the nursery rhyme tickling an old bone in him. He wasn't even remotely threatened by the Apprentice, but he remained that much more aware of her, more keen on being alert on her movements and emotions. To read anything sudden that she might inflict. She seemed nice, but every feline had a mean streak.

Turning to the nearest pillar, he almost appreciated her actually taking him up on his offer. It gave him more leverage to hand her knowledge which, her, as a fellow Sith, and surely someone much more superior to him for now, had right to know.
-----------------Begin Psychometry APP------------------------

He reached out to the pillar nearest the stone, allowing his exhale to flood the room with his influence, and immediately it was grabbed by the sensations of the Dark Side's presence already thickly congealed within the room. The Hunter held his exhale, completely unable to bring that Force back in, as something had held him hostage in this ancient room. Luckily he had the dexterity to not be consumed by it, reinforcing his resilience against the forever threat of Tormentous sadistic and addictive contamination within this domain. But it was just that, his Sense had allowed him to feel. He knew Tormentous' aura well; nearly better than his own. However, his Senses drilled into him, a new aura intermingled with this place. It was one he had only just started to associate with. Slade pried further, his mental nares pushing harder to take in those scents, and figure the trailings where they began, and where they ended. He tilted his head back, tanned knuckles now pale as his grip tightened on the stone pillar just to the right of him. Every step forward was a step gained, and right now he fought against the gravity of time itself to learn what had happened here, the very beginning, the true start of his rise, and his fall.

The sandstone shrieked as though it were being pulled through hellfires, and it filled his head with an almost agonizing withdrawal. He wanted to retreat from the severity of this place, a floor where two giants had been, his Sire, and someone else. It was that scent, his Senses told him, that he had known just recently, and through the murk he used his grit to wade through. Many days and many nights had been here, and so much information assaulted Slade as he swam through it all, as he was dragged through it all. The Hunter was baffled with how many scents had come and gone in this room, how many audiences, hordes, souls had been here, and either left, or became spirits who added to the noise of the Dark Side. No, he warned himself. These were not the times he sought. Varied vectors aimed to pull him from what his mind sought, what his tracking had been seeking, and every time he discriminated against them all. They were not the day, the time....no-

The Force pushed so densely on his chest as he slowed his mental trajectory. There was effort in the need to slow his breathing, to keep calm and face these days, times, years that happened in this very same room. And soon enough, after he had flashed through the noise and the screams of the slain, or the voices of anger and disbelief, the weapings of culled families or applauds of slaves or whispers of zealots, or even the cleaners and massassi who came to and fro within this room and across this floor, a day in particular had been what filled the quote niche where that first step had been taken. His Control held the tendrils tight while his focus zoned in on the immediate area. Shapes of darkness moved through him, past him, to the first steps of the throne before him, hovering there as the blare of some trumpet-like instrument careened around him in celebration, in welcome. It was off key for now, but with every other push against the Force rubber band that wanted to thrust him back into the present. But no, his teeth clenched forth. He remained, and he listened, and the fanfare began to steady into something regal until it abruptly faded away. The shadows began to mold as well, to take forth shapes, and before his eyes he willed them into having faces. Both were before him, yet one, he felt, sat upon that Throne of Skulls. He knew the aura radiating from that Throne could have lied, but no. His heart told him Tormentous sat upon that throne that day, and the Force confirmed it in his visual. He who stood before him, however... the familiar and fresh aura, his eyes squinted-

snow white hair drifted from it, a glint of silver armor scarred with corruption and inken stains of Dark Side prowess and char from some repeated hot discharge. A tilted and slender head with a clear cloak made for noble lineage, pale nape showing as briefly under that hair, and multiple sheathes decorated the body for multiple weapons, small hilts, and with a surprised realization sabers. No doubt as Slade particularly invested the senses across this individual, it was confirmed to be Silas who stood before Tormentous, this day. And Tormentous had only just sat, having moved from the very pillar that Slade had placed his hand on. Glancing up, Slade had come to see it was no mere pillar - it was his own statue within the Throne room. Tormentous had laid his hand here, heart and mind heavy, as the Force had told him what was becoming of his Empire.

Surely that was not it?? Slade grunted, his need for oxygen fizzing the corners of the scene before him in dazzlies of static and blackness. But he needed to see this out. It was imperative. He needed to know. Fingers if his mental dexterity strained that much harder, and his chest fully felt weighed by Moraband, itself. His mead was pounding as more sounds beckoned him to fight for more of this day, more of this scene, and with his chest tightly bound, he stayed and listened. The majority of the conversation was drowned out by so much noise static that would close so much faster and faster as his Control thinned on the situation. His ears strained, desperate need bypassing his body's urges to breathe. Yet words seemed so much clearer when he ignored his need to survive- "-Both were undone as soon as their purpose came to pass. I...I was needed to strike fear into all those that would hear our name. Though perhaps my time has come, perhaps the Sith are to be ushered into a new era. Not one where power or strength is needed -" the Hunter count no longer see Silas, as the fizz and crackle had consumed his visual completely. Slade did not have the strength to get him back, and his knees began to buckle. The words were vibrations that now struck cords in his mind fully, and Tormentous remained his final ounce of strength. "-so much as cunning and deceit. Blood, he would be a prime candidate for this type of future." and the Xandir collapsed. His lungs forced a painful inhale into his chest as he hit the floor, and immediately with it, his influence returned back to him. The weight of the world, no, the weight of the history that happened here, was now off his chest, and he almost felt as though he had completely traveled through time itself. His Senses tingled, jittery, as though they had just fallen asleep and the blood fought with confused neurons to retrieve feeling again. His Control, so stressed and stretched far beyond what he had considered capable of at that point in time, felt weak, and should he had even attempted to regain it then, it would have no effect, turning and galloping just out of reach as an untamed gualara.

-End Psychometry APP- 1222/300 WC -
Slade had laid there, taking deep and hurtful breaths as he stared up from the base of his own statue within this room. He had gotten a realization that he couldn't decide whether to share or keep as his own secret. Kita would be silly to not cut him down now, and be rid of him within her Master's order, as he was weak at this moment. He lay there, not even with the muscle strength to move a single pinky, let alone defend himself. But would her thirst for knowledge overrule her base drive for recognition within this bloody court?

He only needed a moment more before he could speak...
What truly was she going to undertake?

Kita had turned her head in Slade's direction as she heard his body hit the cold floor of the throne room. Unsure what had happened, she heard her master's old apprentice ragged breaths as he seemed to be partially dazed from whatever it was he had been doing in that moment. He was alive...so that wasn't a concern. However, Kita was fighting her own urge to approach...to help. She knew she could easily kill her threat now within the Sith as he was weakened and vulnarable. But Kita was better then that. Oh she so badly wanted to kill him out of hate and to make sure her position was forever protected from his grasp. As well as protect her master. But not in this state. She wanted to fight him in a more dignified way. Apprentice to apprentice. It might have been a huge mistake on her part letting him live, but it was a decision she was willing to make. Plus she didn't approach a enemy unless they were armed.

"Get up." She said cooly. Her own voice echoed through the throne room giving him the confirmation of the mistrust she had for him. Kita slowly got up from around the hearth, her silver attire glistening as she walked over standing out of melee range of Slade just in case he dared to pull a fast one on her for whatever reason. Her vibrolance was gripped firmly in hand as she observed Slade pitifully laying on the ground. "If you think I'm going to help you, you would be wrong." There was a brief pause as the fire crackling nearby filled the silence. "I don't trust you. Nothing personal. I just know how your kind work." She added sternly.

She had meant that as both a Sith and as the true personality he had been hiding. Her brows furrowed as she narrowed her blue gaze at him. "I should kill you right now. Don't doubt for a second I don't want too." She added coldly. Kita had never even talked this cold to her master. Sure she had fought with him...but she never spoke this way to anyone. Slade just managed to rub her the wrong way.

The young Sith apprentice didn't dare look away from her rival, but kept a straight face as she continued. "But if I'm ever to kill you properly and as a true sith, it won't be like this." She gestered to his weak state as he remained staring up at with his golden eye.

As truth be told, he would not rise at her command. It wasn't his pride, or his arrogance that stood way between him and doing so; he merely wasn't in the mood to be commanded by a little girl who knew he was no good, and allowing him to live. YET-

as untrustworthy as he seemed, he kept to his word. She had asked him what became of him, when had be become something within this place. All of it was a leviathan sized read for the youthful and unsullied wench. He would indeed give her what she had primarily asked for.
Without standing, he allowed the room to fill with his ability, his lies, his memorizations, fantasies and fictions that could or could not have been truly what they were meant to be. Happiness and woe, screams of a child being bashed to pulp before a restrained mother, the scores of many echoing their chants to a god who had no name, no face, only existence and power. Love so thickly wrought in misery, the unfortunate host would call for either reunion with their passing star, or to be buried besides it, broken heart and all. Chilling winters brought against the damning heat of sated gratifications only few knew, and moans of either ecstasy or ethereal lusts boomed a tempo that could speed your heart without your permission. Slade released himself fully for her to see he was no mere man, no easy prey for her to claim, whether he was flat on his ass, or standing upright. The Son of the King of Torment, and the Queen of Nightmares was an anomally all on his own. Whatever dwelled in him was unholy, and he kept it locked away until he got inclined to become the Wicked Messiah that none expected out of the likes of him. He was here for a reason, and unless Kita had the gall to meet him on even grounds of elegant and psychotic conniving chaotic disaster, she would miss that fatal blow against him, every time.

With the last step she had taken, it triggered a ripple against his aura, and he immediately latched to it. Pulling close his newfound ability of learning a spec of time, and with his ability of projection through Illusion, he gave her his story.
Behind her, the room appeared nothing but sand. She stood upon a sandy planet, a well known recognizable one - Tatooine. There stood a man with his pet, some grisly and gruesome intimidating monster without much fur, but in canid shape. Muscle, black, teeth, that was all that could describe the garral Slade had named Volkair, and raised as a pup. But that was who the man had been, had he not? Yes... Kita could see in fact the man besides the monstrosity was in fact a younger and much calmer, much more lax and free spirited younger Slade. One without the scars that hid behind his eyes now, two instead, which winked a pair of suns back at the Dark Lord's latest Apprentice. He was a handsome and leanly chiseled man. He walked with purpose, despite seeming to wander aimless in these deserts. And thus, a shack appeared not too far off in the night, a place where he and his pet could rest for now. Kita would see as Slade wove every detail into this play, allowed her to see that he was brought from the peaceful rest by a horrid ghoul of pale skin and delicate childlike features. It was a masterpiece made from every angel's night terrors, and it walked, breathed, and played before him. Slade had kept his face calm, his voice nice, but inwardly, he wanted to know more of this child. No pale child had ever existed this free before, wandering the hot sands of this smuggler planet. She was out of place here, her crimson eyes reflecting a hue of deadly promise. His pet had been long gone- tossed into the sandy dunes by the Dark Child who could have barely placed the top of her skull to the bottom of his ribcage. Yet she was not of this place, seeming immortal, and she made it painfully clear when her curiosity had been sated. Kita would feel the hairs stand up, her desire to help Slade while he was on the floor? amplified tricefold as his mind, his sanity, his normal way of life, thinking, existing was ripped apart by this small child's godless grip, pieces pulled and cast away as though he were a broken toy in need of fixing. That night, that Child of Nightmares had indeed fixed him. She had left him there, dancing through the shadows of the dunes until she was gone, and the planet could breathe once more. He thought he was fine, a small headache pushing him to his feet and calling for his pet, only to head back into the little marketplace, back into his life. Nothing had been normal, since.

A gigantuan dathomirian, a tan and ebony skinned beast of muscle and loyalty to a sick cause, the Hammer to his Lord's work, found Slade. Kept Slade. Offered Slade. And his Lord, the man both Kita and the Hunter both knew, as Tormentous, took him. She would witness the many times Tormenotus had gone over zones with him, a brutal fashion of swordsmanship with a man who's mind was slipping away with every breath of Dark Side energy Tormentous radiated. It fed the seed Krynn, the Nightmare Child, had implanted deep in his existence, warmth with every bruised piece of body, and watered it in the blood Tormentous spilled from him in blows Slade had missed from the Bane of Jedi. Slade had to learn, yet, something else learned with him. A persona that was given a name, a face, and a purpose soon after.

Kita would see Blood born, a figment of Slade's inability to psychologically cope with the trauma Krynn had afflicted him with, unlocking an ability within his body that she illegally blessed him with. The Force. It bloomed within Slade, and took him over in a way that led him to believe it could not have been him. He had fooled himself, and everyone else, it seemed. Schizophrenia, at it's best.

His tale would be brought back to this room, this very simple place and away he sent the sands of Tatooine, the snows of Arkania, the steel of the Malevolent. No...here they stood, in this room but within a different day. He replayed for her the sounds of a thousand trumpets, all loud and welcoming to an Echani nobleman, a face she too, knew. Silas strode forth, his regal armor and upright stance befitting a Lord of royalty, a destined king over people, not that of Tormentous' current Left Hand. It was a man not yet completely consumed by the Dark Side, only well informed within it. Yet here he stood before the throne, where the true Dark Lord sat, puzzled by his own contempt, by his own realizations. Kita's ears would catch the words Slade had heard in his Psychometry vision. She would know then, the treachery which had passed between Father and Son. Only a true Sith would know. And she would connect the dots, as that illusion faded, and brought them back to this time, day, and conversation.

Kita frowned as he refused to move. "Stubborn." She had a feeling this man was going to be a serious pain in the ass as she continued on with her training. The moment she thought he wouldn't answer her, she found herself surrounded by many images. Each one taking over the farthest reaches of the room. Her blue gaze shifting to each one, her heart saddened at seeing the brutality of what appeared to be a child being beaten. The chanting of people and others had really confused Kita as she watched them seem to worship something. "What is this exactly??" The images disturbed her, a shiver running up her spine as she walked along to watch the projection in play with pure interest and confusion.

Moments later, she found herself staring out into the sandy wasteland of Tatooine. Slowly, she looked over to see the younger handsome dark haired man known as Slade. Age didn't seem to rid him of his good looks. That was for sure. Even as he winked at her in the vision itself, she raised a brow and smirked. If this was some kind of way of being charming, it didn't work on her. "Handsome or not, your still not Jacobi." she thought to herself. The creature he had with him was terrifying and yet also interesting to see. If it had been real, she would have been tempted to perhaps pet it.

Silently watching as he made his way to the shack, and fell asleep, Kita stood frozen once she saw the small pale skinned girl. What she was doing there, she had no idea. But it was very unusual to say the least. Approaching the scene a bit closer, she examined the scene itself. The young Sith apprentice felt this girl was familiar somehow. But where? It took a moment, but she recalled the deteriorating statue in front of her masters citadel. Why that statue had never been cared for like the others bothered Kita since she knew Tormentous liked things in order. Obviously something had happened. For she hadn't met this girl before. And despite the statue lost most of all detail, it was obvious it was her.

The room felt cool...chilled. The hairs on her arms and neck stood on end for some reason when it came to the young girls presence. If Kita had ever met her...she wouldn't know how to react. Afraid? Yes. Curious? Most definitely. Of course that was common for Kita. Her curiosity would have surely been the death of her one of these days if she didn't learn to hold back. Either that or dying for Jacobi. For some reason that thought came through her mind more then anything. For if Kita had a trait stronger then any other, it was her loyalty to those she loved. She put her all into defending those who held a place in her heart.

She felt the nagging need to want to help Slade up from the floor in empathy as she watched the sight unfold of this girl messing with his head. His very being. But she remained unyielding as her stubborness took hold. She could sense the emotions running through young Slades mind as he tried to carry his everyday life as normal. And not feeling, seeming to not fit into society anymore.

Seeing the dathomirian bring Slade to her Master Tormentous. A sense of deja vu occurred as Slade and Tormentous trained and battled for endless hours for months at a time. It was no different to what Tormentous was doing with her. However, it was clear to Kita that when Slade arrived, he had no immediate purpose to join the sith other then his lack for fitting into the world once again. Kita remained for Love. For Jacobi. Not because she felt out of place. If she could have, she might have gone back to her simple life selling fish with her father, or perhaps travel the galaxy and explore new planets. She had always wanted to travel. But she did realize she enjoyed battle as well. Perhaps she would have gone and joined the Jedi or the republic helping those who couldn't help themselves. However her future was uncertain.

The young sith apprentice felt the change, saw the change as Slade become the very person she hated today.

Seeing the Dathomarian bring Slade to her Master Lord Tormentous, Kita watched as he trained the young Slade. A sense of Deja vu overcame her as she watched them train over the months for countless hours. She could sense the change in Slade as he continued his lessons in the darkside. She didn't realize though that it was darkside of the force itself that had changed him. Seeing Slades own persona changed dramatically to the sinister snake...the Dragon King Blood was depressing at best. To go from a happy decent guy to someone...so dark and malicious.

"Blood..." It dawned on her Slade was the very sith lord who took over her masters throne. Now obviously defeated by Tormentous and sent back down to the bottom of the sith food chain. She would have helped Tormentous get his throne back a year ago if she hadn’t been taken prisoner and left in the spire that whole year to rot. However...it was best she stayed out of it. Watching the whole betrayal and issues between master and apprentice was obviously something that wasn't hers to be involved in. But now she knew she had to definitely keep her guard up with Slade. For who he once was then was no different now. She could sense his hate for her. And in turn hers for him. It was now a private battle between 2 apprentices who fought to stay by their masters side. Both for different reasons, but to stay on top within the Sith none the less. And with Slades previous training, she knew he could overpower her easily. She would have to use her natural cunning to stay alive from this treacherous man.

As the illusion faded, Kita looked back at Slade. "It is the way of the Sith for their apprentice to take the throne. I don't blame you for wanting it and stealing it from my master." There was truth with that. As much as that rule of master and apprentice stood, Kita didn't want the throne now. Or ever. ...Until the darkness had taken her too. She needed to keep herself grounded on why she joined. She found the rule of a apprentice killing their master horrendous. But of course she had to accept it as fact.

She narrowed her blue gaze at Slade. "Don't doubt for a second I will be watching my back from you and everyone else in this place. Stay out of my way and I will leave you alone. Try to kill my master and I WILL kill you." She stated seriously. She wasn't going to let Slade kill Tormentous without first figuring out if there was a way to save Jacobi. "I promise you that."
