As Kita was still mid-air, her eyes widened in shock as Tormentous flawlessly caught the first bullet watching as it sparked alight like a tiny bomb in the palm of his hand. The second did the same but hit his gauntlet. It was seconds she had landed on the ground that the bullet was sent back in her direction and passed just hairs away from missing her shoulder. "That was close...to close..." She thought.
That missing bullet left a opening distraction enough for Tormentous to quickly make a dash for her. His own battle cry caught her attention giving her the chance to block his strike. "Focus" Unexpectedly she felt the wind be knocked out of her lungs as Tormentous fist met her stomach. She bowled over clutching her midsection briefly before noticing the Sith Lords shadow move on the ground. "He pulled away...that's not good. Seeing his shadow come back in her line of vision on the ground and growing bigger, she knew he was coming down for some sort of attack. Kita fluidly barrel rolled out of his way and brought herself swiftly up ignoring her pain. Without hesitation or second thought she swung down with her sword at his neck hoping to be rid of the Sith Lord forever...

Re: Silvanius
Expelling the wind from her chest the Dark One could feel the end was nigh yet this was melee and in this arena it wasn’t Tormentous who was in full control. Typically the Dark Lord was uncontested in body and mind for he was simply too powerful for any one thing to overcome. But in instances of great adrenaline use where the warrior spirit of Wylcott could flourish or in the quietest times when there was no evil to be had - Jacobi was allowed to fight back for once and on occasion he was able to make it out to the forefront. This was one such occasion in that Jacobi Wylcott could heavily influence if not outright tamper with the thoughts of the Dark Lord of the Sith. With the Mandalorian vying for control and the Dark One allowing the instance for his own gains - because the growth of Jacobi and Kita together only advanced his greater cause - Wylcott was free if only for a time.
With battle lust that sang the song of war it was he that denied the Force to carry this victory - he would do this himself. Seeing her evade his attack once again he witnessed and anticipated her next movements, he wasn’t spot on though he was incredibly close. He had an instinct for fighting and this was no exception. As she came down he spun on his heel and right inside of her attack, from there he looked into her eyes as he was now face to face with her. Jacobi couldn’t forget those eyes. It was true - Tormentous hadn’t lied to him - she was alive.
He could ill afford distraction though as Kita was fighting for every scrap of her life right now. She would kill him if he let his guard down. But this fight was already over. Inside her guard and with her body near trembling from exhaustion and fatigue she was fortunate to even still be standing much less swinging that vibrosword of hers. He sidestepped further into her attack which terminated her swing by thumping her bicep into his neck instead of her sword. From her he sent her to the ground in a leg sweep. He wasn’t gentle and so she was deposited abruptly. The girl wasn’t yet done though and fought to rise - he saw the look in her eyes. She was near overcome with fury and the urge to keep going no matter what. He knew the look well and he also knew only one thing would end this - incapacitation.
As she fought to rise he launched his attack and stomped down on her sword. From her position the hilt was on the ground while the blade was propped up on the stairs. When his heavy boot came down and struck the sword, the high tempered and relatively poor condition sword snapped like a twig leaving only about four inches of blade left passed the quillions.
Now disarmed he aimed his sword at her neck, a sign the fight was over. Kita had the mind that she could still offer resistance and she’d likely have taken death over surrender again. He was forced to rescind his sword lest he impale her.
Jacobi had many ways in which to incapacitate opponents but none of which he desired to use here. With great reluctance he tapped into the Force. A wave of pain washed over his mind like a thousand piercing knives as the Force flowed where it should not have. With the flick of his hand Kita was struck from her feet and slammed hard into one of the pillars (Telekinesis). It was over.
If she was still conscious this time then the fight surely would have been gone now.
Releasing her, she fell to the ground and he approached after casting the short sword aside. He knelt by her side and set his hand to her shoulder. “Kita.” He whispered in a tone devoid of mirth and hinted with the accent that Kita would easily recognize. It wasn’t a massive change but perhaps to her it would be enough.

Re: Silvanius
Kita was using as much strength and speed as she could to bring down her vibroblade...however...it didn't make contact with her intended target. Not long before decapitating Tormentous, or who she thought was Tormentous...time seemed to go in slow motion for Kita as he quickly turned towards her and avoided her attack. She was tired, slightly shaking from the exhaustion but also just from meeting his gaze she felt her own legs want to give out. It was weird...something was different now then it was when the battle of death first started as he stared into his eye. She was still angry but...there was a hint of something else in her blue eyes as she stared at him. Confusion? Desire? She didn't know herself how to feel in that moment.
She ended up hitting him instead with her arm in the neck as he sidestepped within her attack. Her long blonde hair sweeped out cascading around her as she felt the ground disappear from beneath her feet. Falling, she broke her fall avoiding hitting her head on the ground by landing on her elbows. She refused to quit however as she glared up at him, already trying to make her way back up.
She heard the loud SNAP of metal break, her head turned to see Tormentous break the blade easily in two. She couldn't believe the sword had fell out of her hand. Then again she was trying to stop herself from getting any further injuries by breaking her fall. Reaching out to grab the now broken four inch blade, she retreated her hand as Tormentous swords movement caught her eye. She slowly turned her head to see the blades point aimed at her throat. She did feel fear in that moment...But not as much as the anger she felt in losing this battle. She would have rather died then not fight at all til her last breath. She reached out to grab the broken sword after all, but didn't get the chance. She hadn't even noticed Tormentous had retreated his own sword.
Seconds from reaching the broken vibroblade, she found herself flung into a pillar with a impact so hard, that her head pounded from it, vision spinning slightly. Her body was unmoving, held suspended against the pillar itself before suddenly being let go and crumbling to the floor in a heap. She heard his footsteps approach her...
“Kita.”
She brought a hand up to her head, and glanced up to find Tormentous hand rest on her shoulder. But his demeanor had changed. His gaze...softer. His voice...calmer. The same tone she heard back on Zoist for the majority of her training. But she still didn't understand or know why the sudden shift in personality. "...Tormentous?" She asked confused. It was a slight change...But a change none the less. She would have called him Jacobi...She wanted to call him Jacobi...But he had told her earlier not to go by that name any longer when addressing him. Kita felt really confused. And why didn't he kill her?

Re: Silvanius
“...No.” He replied in his normal tone, gravely and stern yet devoid of hatred. “Jacobi,” He corrected her with his other hand moving to the side of her hear between her golden hair and her ear - not to box her ear for her defeat but to steady her as she was nearly about to topple over. “Come on.” He said lowly and scooped her up as if her weight was insignificant to him.
He took her back to his study and set her carefully into his own chair behind the big desk and he knelt by her side, take off his gauntlets as he did so. With a cloth he brushed the blood from her nose, the impact against the pillar had been severe - likely a mild concussion. He wondered and even hoped she’d remember this moment - he wasn’t sure when the next would come. Tormentous did not care to explain anything to Kita or for that matter any of his minions out there, Jacobi however hated Tormentous and did not share his views and ideals.
Just like before though he didn’t really have time to speak to her plainly, he needed to teach her to survive and prepare her for what was to come. “I am Jacobi, but I am also Tormentous. He is the part of me that was consumed by the Dark Side of the Force.” How crazy did he sound right now? Two sides of the same coin? Bipolar? Was there more explanations for being a nut? ‘Damn it, I can’t turn her against Tormentous either. He’ll just kill her or worse.’
Things were getting complicated and he didn’t like it.
“Be mindful.” He added, quieting down in defeat that he couldn’t confide in her without endangering her or even running her off - which would damn her in turn. “Don’t let your guard down. There are enemies everywhere. Don’t trust anyone so long as you’re surrounded by the Sith.” He stared into her glassy eyes not even sure if she was hearing him. He could have kept going with the advice but he realized how foolish it was. Relaying advice when he was soon to turn right back into that monster. What was the right answer here? He sure didn’t know.

Re: Silvanius
"...No. Jacobi."
Kita didn't realize just how hard she was hit until Jacobi had supported her head to keep it from lulling around aimlessly. She might have been dazed, but she was still aware of what was going on. "...First you say Tormentous...then you say Jacobi...please make up your mind...because this is VERY confusing." She grumbled tiredly.
“Come on.”
Her head throbbed violently as he lifted her in his arms, her head resting on his shoulder as Jacobi walked towards his study. She couldn't help but stare at him, quietly observing his sudden change in character. "He just tried to kill you...now he is helping you??? What's going on???" She gave him a confused expression before quickly realizing what he was doing as they entered the study. Being put down in his chair, she glanced over at the papers she had seen scattered the other day on his desk before finding Jacobi kneeling next to her bringing a cloth to her face. "Huh?" She stared at him, blue eyes wide in surprise and then suddenly started staring tenderly at him as he wiped away the blood from her nose. She should have been weary...but she wasn't. She felt...safe for some reason as she leaned back and let him clean her up a bit in that moment.
“I am Jacobi, but I am also Tormentous. He is the part of me that was consumed by the Dark Side of the Force.”
She listened as he went explaining his behavior in a brief way. It did sound a bit crazy at first. But as she thought about it, things were starting to make sense from her time hanging out with Jacobi a year ago. So many instances she felt him turn from one personality to the next and had no explanation for it. Why she had first attacked him on his ship while he gave her a meal and started talking to her before the atmosphere suddenly changed feeling a dark presence stare at her from across the room. Why when on Zoist she saw his blue eye turn yellow and aura seem to change so drastically. Sure that was the darksides fault...but his demeanor was so different then. He wasn't the same person. He HADN'T been the same person. And she felt something was off with him at the time.
She gave a small smile as she thought about it further. "Actually...that makes sense to me now..." She groaned as she shifted slightly to lean on her right arm. "Why you acted so differently...so many times...and I couldn't find a explanation for it." She sighed wishing the headache disappeared. "Well...to be clear...I like Jacobi over Tormentous any day of the week." She glanced up at the ceiling briefly as she tried to find the next words to say. Kita knew what she was saying was crazy to Jacobi. Hell, it would be crazy to anyone else as well. But she couldn't hold back and say nothing. She met his yellow eye and nodded, searching his gaze in hopes for him to understand what she was saying. "But since Tormentous is also you...there really isn't anything I can do about it except...accept the situation for what it is." She wasn't sure he would understand the deeper meaning at what she was saying. "I accept you...and oddly enough that means I have to accept Tormentous too." She replied softly.
Yes. She was accepting Jacobi for both his personalities. The mandolorian and the evil Sith Lord that ruled the galaxy. Of course she wouldn't mention how much she didn't really like his evil side...but Kita was willing to put up with it if it meant she could stick by Jacobi's side.
“Be mindful. Don’t let your guard down. There are enemies everywhere. Don’t trust anyone so long as you’re surrounded by the Sith.”
She was indeed out of it as he stared desperately into her eyes, but still Kita managed to catch all of what he said in the advice he was giving her. "I'll keep it in mind." Honestly Kita had already been saying not to trust a Sith from day one to herself. So both Jacobj and Kita had their minds on the same wavelength. However if she was going to train with Tormentous, she would have to learn to keep her guard up around him and everyone else while training. She was in the Sith now anyway whether she liked it or not since day one. There was no changing that fact. And Jacobi was her main reason for staying.
Kita wondered if he was dullheaded on catching on to her vague confession of affection...or maybe he wasn't? Maybe he did understand? Maybe he didn't care? She wanted to hug him just from the look of concern he gave her. But she could barely keep her head up. Instead she rested her hand on his arm and smiled despite the pain she felt wracking through her body.

Re: Silvanius
She accepted his crazy words. To say the least he was surprised. So he took her up and gave her a hug. Jacobi wasn’t a tyrant and he wasn’t a monster like Tormentous. He was charismatic and honorable in every aspect of his life. Rough around the edges sure but he’d had a tough life and was jaded in many ways. For now though as he was able to be free of the Darkness he’d show it and he hugged Kita. She probably needed a friend as much as he did. For all this time he’d thought he was alone. Years and years suffering under Tormentous’ wrath. Forced to do unspeakable atrocities and to live with them without confiding in anyone. They wore on his heart and mind - Tormentous’ way of keeping Wylcott in check.
He stood up. “I don’t know how long I have. There is something you should know and understand. Tormentous is in control here. When it is him, I have little to no ability to keep him at bay.” Even now he could feel the growing heat of the Dark Side of the Force creeping back into the depths of his mind. “Once the Dark Side returns, keep in mind that he despises me too. I wouldn’t call him, me or risk his ire.”
Exhaling deeply he knew what he had to do. He wanted to catch up with her, go over everything they’d both been through the last year - but he knew there would be a better time for it later. For now, maybe there was a chance to help her further. He moved to the center of the room and stood with his shoulders squared. “Come here, there is something you need to learn. It’ll help you stay out of trouble and he won’t teach you.” Jacobi Wylcott hated the Force as much as he hated Tormentous, it hurt him to use it since his exposure to its power was not a natural occurrence. It is part of what accelerated Tormentous’ hold over his mind and as much as he wanted to stay here with Kita - she needed the skills that he knew if she was going to survive.
Once she was standing in front of him he started. “Your senses.” He grimaced a bit at the stabbing pain growing in the base of his skull while the Force built within him. “Are capable of warning you to danger. If you listen close enough then you can sense these feelings and avoid the worst of what harm has in store.”
He walked over to a weapon stand along the wall. Many slots lay empty but there was one that was not. A vibrolance. It was light and very capable of grace in the midst of combat. He took up the weapon and returned to stand before her. Taking the weapon up in both hands he showed her that he meant to take a swing soon. “Alright, it is best that you close your eyes for this. It will help you get the feeling you need better.”
“The energy field that surrounds you is always in motion. As a foreign object is moved within this energy field the current is disturbed and the Force will call out to you of the danger. Quiet your mind and listen. I’m going to strike you. It is up to you to defend yourself.” He kept the vibrocell off, this weapon would be nothing more than a spear. It would still hurt even though he was using the blunt end, but in training, Jacobi never pulled punches. If he hit her then she would surely know it. The fact that she was still pretty exhausted would actually play into this training even better as the Force may urgently notify her of the incoming danger more keenly now that she was relatively vulnerable.
Once she closed her eyes he slowly and deliberately started walking around her in a circle. She would not be able to track him nor see where the strike was to come from nor where it was heading. In order to succeed here she would have to open herself up to the Force and it was the only means of defense here.

Re: Silvanius
Not seconds after admitting she believed his situation, was she pulled into his embrace. "What?" She was surprised and yet also happy as she hugged him back in turn, her own face turning red from the sudden contact. His own expression of relief and loneliness had easily reflected back at her. Kita had felt like that before. Lonely. And yet she hadn't been through the things Jacobi had. She thought on his own issues...and could imagine the emotions he must have felt battling such a person as Tormentous for control of his own body. If she were in his position, she might have lost her own mind years ago most likely to the tyrants constant advances. "Well...this is better then being thrown into a pillar." She joked. The sound of laughter and amusement hiding in her tone of voice before he pulled away, standing.
“I don’t know how long I have. There is something you should know and understand. Tormentous is in control here. When it is him, I have little to no ability to keep him at bay. Once the Dark Side returns, keep in mind that he despises me too. I wouldn’t call him, me or risk his ire.”
The humor quickly dissipated as Jacobi stated his seriousness of the matter dealing with Tormentous. Kita wasn't surprised that the Sith Lord hated Jacobi. Kita could easily tell that Jacobi...well...to her he was a good person. She didn't know his past really, and she hadn't asked yet. But even if he had a questionable past, a bad person wouldn't take their time to train and try to protect her. Would they? "So...you are still there when he takes over?" She asked.
Following his movements, she tilted her head curiously as he stood in the center of the room. “Come here, there is something you need to learn. It’ll help you stay out of trouble and he won’t teach you.” Kita grabbed the arms of the chair and pushed herself up onto her feet. She still felt weak from her current battle with the Sith Lord himself but managed to go over and stand in front of Jacobi.
“Your senses. Are capable of warning you to danger. If you listen close enough then you can sense these feelings and avoid the worst of what harm has in store.”
As he brought over a vibrolance suggesting for her to close her eyes as he prepared to hit her with it, Kita did end up looking at him like for once he DID lose his mind. However he hadn't steered her wrong before when teaching her in the past. "Alright...but i'm not excited about what's coming my way…" she replied tiredly as she closed her eyes.
“The energy field that surrounds you is always in motion. As a foreign object is moved within this energy field the current is disturbed and the Force will call out to you of the danger. Quiet your mind and listen. I’m going to strike you. It is up to you to defend yourself.”
The weapons blunt edge had hit her in the right calf and she automatically reached down to rub at it.
"Pay attention! Don't allow to let your guard down a second for it could mean your life." Jacobi said.
Kita glared at him as she rubbed at her calf. "When we are done, i would like to take a swing at you since I've already gotten beaten up today by your hand." She replied cooly. Grumbling to herself, she stood up straight and closed her eyes again.

WHACK!!--- BEGIN DANGER SENSE---200 Words
Although exhausted, Kita found her mind expanding as she focused on the energy field grow around her. She felt the force flow around her move about like a rushing river out in the middle of a forest. It was a strong and steady energy that was set on its course ahead. She waited, silently focusing and looking for the disturbance in her energy field from Jacobi's attack. After what seemed like minutes of waiting and searching for his strike with her mind, annoyance suddenly started bubbling up into anger as she wished the madolorian would just swing already.
Kita's mind could only stay focused on her energy field for so long before starting to lose interest and begining to let her mind wander. It was in that moment of letting her guard down that she felt Jacobi's strike penetrate her energy field. The disturbance alone was obvious. She felt the ripples of energy flow be disrupted as if someone suddenly threw a giant boulder into the stream of her river. This caused her to come out of her unfocused state and she quickly received a hit to her right calf with the blunt edge of his vibrolance. She had missed the warning sensation from the forces call due to her lack of attention.

She sighed in relief before glancing over at Jacobi. She stood up straight and put her hand out with a spark of mischeif in her blue gaze. "Ok, hand it over. I want to take a swing at you as payback for earlier with the pillar. However i'll let the hit with the training slide since that was on me."---CONTINUE APP---
Kita focused on expanding her field once again and let her mind begin searching for the forces call. The hit to her calf throbbed, reminding her she needed to keep her mind alert to her energy field or she would be met with another blow to her already aching body. Kita stood waiting, a scowl on her face as she searched her energy field for the weapons attempt of impact. Her mind sharpened, becoming more intune as she awaited the blow. Finally, it hit her senses like a electric bolt striking through her heart and mind, warning her. She felt her energy field wave from the disturbance greatly as the vibrolance came at her right side. Kita swiftly leapt out of the way, thankful she had heard the forces call before hearing the vibrolance as it hit the ground.

Re: Silvanius
Before settling in to teach her about the ability to sense danger he nodded in reply. “Aye, when he takes control it is still me, just a very dark me. Tormentous is his own entity sure enough as I’d not go as far as he does. But it is still me. I am responsible for the actions he - I - take.”
During the training he clocked her in the calf once and the connection was solid. He felt no remorse for striking her - this was a test and trial and she would either rise or fall on her own here. That she couldn’t execute was a failure on her part and his leniency would have only proven to be a disservice to her. No - she needed to be taught with full contact and without hesitation if she were to succeed in the real world. Thusly he struck her and reinforced his teachings rather than apologize and waste the effort. Kita needed this - it was likely one of the most valuable skills she’d ever encounter and she would utilize it from here on out.
He spat a quick correction her way to pay attention. She couldn’t afford not to listen here. If she dallied too long then she would fail in far worse challenges. She needed to push herself and make this technique work whether she wanted the punishment due through the actions thereof or not. Kita would prove it to herself that she was good enough to learn these lessons - he already knew she was.
Finally she finished the task at hand and he smiled broadly in victorious pride. She’d not failed him. She’d done very well to make it this far and now - just maybe - she stood a fighting chance at tomorrow. He irked his right eyebrow over his blind eye at her challenge. His tone changed from teacher to one of pride and great confidence. “Let it be known that Jacobi Wylcott has never stood down from a challenge nor will he.” He tossed her the lance without the fear of reprisal and then he willfully turned his back on her and sealed his one good eye shut. He grit his teeth as he felt the sharp needles of the Dark Side penetrating his mind and all at once his mastery of the world around him lit the area in bright lights as if he could see even better with his eyes closed than he could with them open.
His ethereal gaze turned on Kita and he grinned underneath his mask as he awaited her attack. He would show her the true meaning of this technique. “Do not hold back. Turn the vibrocell on. Attack as if I am your enemy.”

Re: Silvanius
Kita for some reason didn't count Torms actions as Jacobi's. Sure they were in the same body, but they still both and their own minds. Still...Kita couldn't change that thought in the mandolorians mind.
Despite the mask, Kita could tell he was smiling. There was a twinkle in his yellow eye every time he did. She had only seen him with his mask off once and had put back on him after finding him passed out on the floor of his cockpit a year ago. He had somehow worn himself out and Kita had decided to check on him at the time. She wasn't sure if he remembered or not. But she had. A blush appeared on her face as she remembered Jacobi brushing the hair away from her face and saying something to her in mandolorian she didn't understand. But she remembered his voice being gentle towards her. "Quit daydreaming and get your butt back in gear."
She snapped out of it once Jacobi spoke. “Let it be known that Jacobi Wylcott has never stood down from a challenge nor will he.” The comment alone didn't phase her. She had found the Mandolorian to be very competitive by spirit. She caught the vibrolance midair and smirked. "Alright then. Show me what you got." She said seriously. “Do not hold back. Turn the vibrocell on. Attack as if I am your enemy.” Kita was slightly entranced by his sightless gaze and was quite curious to see what Jacobi could do. The fact he even brought up activating the weapon alone made it even more interesting.
Kita didn't think of walking around Jacobi like he had. Instead she ran forward and aimed a diagonal strike into his right shoulder with the electrified end before switching directions and throwing a swing at his left side with the blunt one. Quickly she leaped away and pivoted, aiming for his midsection with the electrified end of the vibrolance.

Re: Silvanius
Jacobi absorbed the pain dwelling in his mind and it gave him great strength (Feed on Dark Side), his arms tensed and he opened and closed his fists several times in the process as he so anxiously waited for Kita to impale him with the lance. The very fluctuations in the air, the grace of her movements as he watched her through the Force was intoxicating as he saw in this moment who she really was beyond the visual sense. There was so much he could see within her heart and mind - there was so much he wanted to say still but damn his inability to stay his hand and jump with both feet into a fight when there was one to be had. It was his greatest joy and his greatest curse as a Mandalorian - fight first, all other concerns came second.
To be within the midst of glorious battle was more than he could ever turn down. It was an urgent need and he was unable to deny his predatory urge to seek that adrenaline rush and satisfy his choleric rage. To his pleasure she did as he’d instructed and she came at him without hesitation - just as he’d taught her. He grinned to himself as he realized that unbeknownst to him he was teaching her in the Mandalorian ways without even knowing. Pressing this from his mind he focused.
Without even concentrating the nature of the ability came to him without having to think about it. (Danger Sense). Her strike came in fast. The diagonal effort to his right shoulder keyed him in on where Kita was aiming and where the strike would terminate. With an absolute minimum of movement he leaned and slightly pivoted away, the swing to his left came in hard and fast, he twisted around and cleanly blocked the blunted side with his left forearm downturned. His armor soaked the damage away and once again she struck out with the electrified end after gracefully leaping backwards - he responded by shifting his weight to his right side and the vibrolance passed by him easily catching nothing but air. His movement ended with his back yet again turned to her.
