Training [Warvanus]

"It was meant to be smashed and. . .Form a gas. . ." Noffiti held the mask in her hand as she watched the dead man's body. She swiped more sweat from her face and looked up at Warvanus. "Balo is extremely sensitive and. . .And. . .When thrown will form a gas. . ."

Her fingers were tainted a faint pink from the juice of the berries. She had wiped most of it off, but she couldn't stop it from getting into her skin. She groaned and wiped them on her pants again.

He looked at her and then to the corpse. Then saying to the other guards who stood guard in the gym.
“Dispose of this” he said indicating the corpse.

He looked at Belladonna.
“Give me 4 reps of push-ups” he told her “The first rep will be 20, the second rep 15, the third 10, the fourth 5”
This was the beginning of the cool-down phase.

“When you have done those push-ups, you will freshen, grab a meal and rest
Tomorrow we will be taking a trip, your first environmental survival lesson
, pack anything you need, nothing more”

He now needed to decide what kind of environment to throw themselves into,
Of course there would be other lessons involved too all part of the physical
Conditioning.

Noffiti nodded her head. She moved so she was out of the way and she stumbled, nearly colliding with the wall next to her. She muttered out apologies for not listening and made her way to her house. She was wobbling badly, the poison already in her bloodstream. She should have been more careful while picking the berries.

She looked back at Warvanus. "Can. . .Can you help me. . .? I-I need to make. . .an antidote. . .fast. . ." It was mild at this stage since there was no Balo added into the mix of poisons, but it was still very fatal.

He saw her collapse and went over to help her up, she had made a rookie mistake and some of the ingrediants got into her system. Luckily the first aid kits were equipped for such a contingency. He grabbed one and opened it and prepared the needle. It would either provide the antidote she needed or stem off the effects buying more time before it got worse.

He injected the needle into her arm. He could have used the Force to draw it out of her but he was no healer and this limitation annoyed the brute savage.

“This should help” he said trying to help her up

Noffiti hardly felt the needle when it pressed into her skin. She knew it wasn’t going to be permanent, but she’d have more time to make something proper. “Thank you.” Her voice was still strained but she could move easier.

She went to her house as quickly as she could manage and found the Pommwomm she had collected. If she hurried she could get it processed properly. Because the leaves were medicinal and not poisonous she didn’t bother with her mask. Her hands shook slightly, but she managed to get the leaves boiling in water.

Once they were done she ground the wet leaves into a paste and bottled them for later. She put some honey in with the Pommwomm tea and started drinking a cup. The honey sweetened it and soothed her throat.

She returned to the gym after two cups of the tea. She was still burning up and her hands shook lightly but she could walk and function right. She had dealt with much worse circumstances and survived. This wasn’t much in her eyes; she had simply waited too long.

Warvanus waited and when she returned, it was past the time to warm down. “You’ve had enough , get rest, and a meal and pack whatever you need as tomorrow we will be taking a trip” With that he dismissed her.

When she left he went back to the bldg he had been given and sat in a chair. Was this the life he was going to lead? PC trainer and a errand boy? Anger seemed to rise up inside him. Or was this malcontent a result of the darkside’s whisperings? He did not know. Not even the tome of the Revanites would ease him this night and where should he take Belladonna for environmental survival training? Somewhere cold seemed to be the answer as she was accustomed to Desert and heat.

He rose again and went to what would be his study. His shelves were very empty though he would not settle here, but it would suit his purposes for now. He had no desire to rule but if he were to thrive and even raise from his lowly position then he would need to establish his power base, and now was the time. He had Vector of course but he had been acting kinda shady for awhile , ever since his brief captivity with the Tri-Sun cult. A Matter he would need to look into and if need be deal with.

“Time and place for everything” he thought.

He had went and gotten the needed provisions, the bare necessities. He had left orders to have his shuttle ready for light at daybreak. Now he just needed some rest himself.

Noffiti left for her house. She showered and changed into comfier clothes. She fixed another cup of tea and and a meal. For the first few minutes after returning, her hands still shook but after her cup of tea they finally stopped.

She set at her desk and pulled up her tools. She finished up the Pommwomm paste into a medicine that could cure most ailments. It was well known for being a cure all. She grabbed her mask and some gloves and pulled out her other items. She stepped outfit and picked a few plants and herbs to bring back inside.

She set about grinding, drying, and mixing new poisons. She remembered the datapad and pulled it up. She swiped through the information and set it aside. Most of it she already knew, but she mostly made her own poisons.

She got her red and black outfit together. She knew tomorrow was environmental training and it didn’t bother her much. She didn’t want to pack for weather, because she was supposed to be able to survive in any weather or climate. This was the outfit she was to wear when she went on missions, so this was what she’d get accustomed to in different climates.

After a while she gave in to sleep, leaving the window open for ventilation.

Warvanus had the provisions packed into his shuttle his faithful droid KL-PK1 took care of that. While he was doing that Warvanus waited in the gym. He was not idly waiting he had been practicing with his lightsaber taking on 3 of the robotic training droids. He was blocking strike after strike. It almost looked like a dance from any on lookers who might be watching. After a bit he issued a verbal command and the droids stood down and went on standby mode. Warv closed down his lightsaber and clipped it to his belt. He turned and realized he had been watched.

“Are you ready?”

Noffiti was dressed in her red and black attire. It was snug and accentuated her curves. She had tall boots and black gloves which were rather practical since she dealt with poisons. She knotted her braids at the back of her head and left her hood down. She threw her satchel, filled with poisons and antidotes, over her shoulder and then a black cloak over her shoulders. She paused to look at herself in the mirror. She no longer looked like the girl on Crait, she looked dangerous. She held the mask up to her face, not quite putting it on, but seeing how she'll look with it. She smiled at herself and turned on her heels to the door.

She quickly made it to the gym and found Warvanus training already. He was fighting droids with his lightsaber until he told them to stand down. He turned to her once his saber was clipped to his belt and asked her if she was ready. "As ready as I can be."

He nodded “Lets go” he said and made to walk out of the gym. Once they reached the entrance he had told a droid piloting a speeder to take them to his estate. The droid would comply and it was a short drive to it. Once arrived Warvanus exited and headed inside into the turbolift and went down a level. When the door slid open they were inside a modest hanger. Sitting on the pads was a shuttlecraft and a Starchaser R-41 Starfighter. He pointed at it “Thats the Schmitar” and then gestured to the shuttlecraft where KL-PK1 stood at the entrance ramp.

“That’s Karl” he said indicating his droid, once she climbed aboard both Karl and Warvanus boarded the shuttle. The ramp closed and sealed as Karl began the take off Warvanus looked at Belladonna and spoke.

“Your first enviornmental survival training will be in a Arctic climate, still remaining on Sojourn, the shuttle will drop us off and then come back for us tomorrow we will spend one day out in the frigid cold.” He handed her a pack he had prepared. “Some essentials you will need” he explained.

The shuttle continued to its destination. It would be maybe an hour before they arrived.
