As the prison droids where reaching their final stages she had finally gotten some potential recruits through the recuitment offices. However tests had to be made by recuitment, because if they didn't pass they could be assigned immediately to another section. It annoyed Kota alot that every time new recruits came in that she had to be there. She hadn't had one yet stand out in the crowd of would be soldiers, so these trips were simply starting to be a waste of her time and energy. 'If this trip doesn't get one result I'm getting the office the old fashioned way of finding a force user.' She thought. Kota didn't need to be making these trips when her time was valuable elsewhere.

When she reached the offices the officer was giving the usual speech about how some of them would succeed and others would probably die tomorrow. Chances of any of the recruits dying tomorrow was small, it was mostly just a speech to scare those who had doubts back home. "ATTENTION!" The officer yelled as she got out. Her red armor was distinguished from the usual officers or soliders it made the recuits look. Kota ignored them, as she walked in a line among the new recruits. The force was telling her nothing at first, she was once again feeling like this was another waste of her time, that was until she got to him. He was six feet tall, fairly built though rough, he had blond brown hair. "Your name?" She asked. He looked at her. "Brutus ma'am." He said. She motioned for him to follow.

The recruits just watched and Brutus stood there for a moment. He didn't know who this was, nor did any of the recruits. "Follow the Grand Inquisitor as you were motioned to!" The recruiter yelled. Brutus moved as the others watched, he had only read about the Grand Inquisitor. There were no brochures to join the Inquistors, mainly because someone had to have the force, something rare. He didn't have the force to his knowledge, neither of his parents had the force and we're regular citizens of the Empire. As he took a seat in the taxi, he was unsure why the Grand Inquisitor had told him to follow.

Kota was already sitting when he took a seat, she motioned for the taxi to move. "You have the force, I sense it, that is why I had you follow." She said. She knew he had questions, she hoped to answer them.

'I have the force?' He thought. How did he not discovered it before now, he didn't know, but the Grand Inquisitor seemed to know. There wasn't much on the Grand Inquisitor, just that she went by Division Alpha, no one had seen her face to his knowledge. No one questioned her skills either, she helped stop the Sith from taking a transport and was rumored to hold vast powers.

When the taxi stopped she got out, he followed, then he realized where they were. This was Captain Vassyls office, the Imperial tours stopped to show the new recruits what offices were what before waiting for assignment. Kota had just walked in like she owned the office herself, it was a moment before Brutus had noticed she'd gone inside. When he went in he snapped at attention saluting as soldiers do, Captain Vassyls sat at his desk sifting through paperwork. Kota physically moved Brutus hand down to his side. "First thing we do not salute, we stand and observe, you can't see above with that hand there." She said to him. Kota turned to Doren. "Commander this is Brutus Caesar free off the boats, I wanted him to meet one of those who will command his talents. Brutus is to be an Inquisitor." She said.

Vassyl glanced up at the pair with a deadpan look, his right eyebrow hunching upward into an interrogative posture. "Is he now?", Doren started, standing up to better look over the stranger in his entirety. The man was rugged, but built, possessing the sort of frame that would have otherwise made for a terrific stormtrooper. Nonetheless, Kota's intuition had a different fate in store for this one. "He certainly seems to be physically up to the task", the Captain continued, stepping out from behind his desk and moving to circle round the prospective candidate, "Though I wonder as to what you see of his temperament? A soldier must prove loyal, yet an Inquisitor must show a devotion to order on an even more extreme scale". Vassyl paced back a few steps until his stood looking straight up at Brutus, and posed the question, "Tell me Mister Caesar, what drives you to serve the Empire?".

Brutus didn't understand why she called him Commander, it was clear by his bars he was Captain. The captain asked her questions then directed to him one. "My older brother is lieutenant sir, Julius Caesar. My father thought it time I'd earn my place in the Empire. However I am certain that he didn't expect that I'd be selected for the Inquisitor." Brutus said. His eyes didn't wonder from the captain.

Kota watched and waited for Brutus to answer the commander's question. "I sense his power, he has the force. I believe that is what Argus and you set me off every shipment of recruits to find is it not?" She said. It wasn't really a question, but it was a part of her role when they gave her this title.

"A family man eh?", Doren inquired with a smirk, "A commendable initiative if ever there was one; we shall see to it that you do your elders proud Mister Caesar". Vassyl turned away, and began a slow pace back to his desk. Upon reseating himself, he focused his attention back on the Grand Inquistor, and answered back, "Though I fear you might understate your position M'lady, I won't deny that such screenings are certainly part and parcel with your main administrative duties". Indeed, Kota was much, much more than a simple Force-detection radar. And, at the same time, she was one of the few people in the host of the Empire that could accomplish such a feat of reconnaissance. Now, however, that situation was ripe for change. This Brutus, if properly cultivated, could serve the minor capacities Kota was otherwise wasted on. "Very well", the Captain spoke up at last, "I will have Mister Caesar cleared for active service; best of luck to you and your pupil M'lady".

"Thank you sir! If permitted I would like to tell my brother the news as well as my parents." He said. He was still not sure of the grand Inquisitor's decree, but he wasn't going to question one of esteemed virtue. He would like to tell his family, either through mail or a call, but he could understand if he wasn't allowed. It wouldn't be a shock as nothing else was normal about the grand Inquisitor.


She listened to his request, it wasn't an unreasonable one. "You can make your call from the Inquisitors building. Come. Thank you commander for your time." She said before taking her leave. Kota would want to get him situated as soon as possible, but she knew from experience that sometimes family came first. Her's had grown and shrunk, but it was good to have what one had when they had it.

When they made it to the building of the Inquisitors it looked like it was new, rather than old like most of the buildings. When Brutus walked in the building it was glorious, he could see the imperial crest on a red flag hung from the second floor, the welcome desk to the side, and average citizens just walking around the place. The Grand Inquisitor pointed to the phone for him to make his call. This all still seemed to glorious for him to grasp.

She could see the excitement, as well as overwhelming on his face as he took it all in. Kota pointed to the phone so he could make his phone call. When he was done she would escort him farther, to get him armor. This was a huge step for the Inquisitors so it was ok for this to go slow. That and perhaps she still needed to adjust to this herself.

He made his call, he was so happy to see his parents on the vid screen. "Hi Mom, dad, your not going to believe what happened." Brutus said. "Already have an assignment?" His father guessed. His mother smiling approving. "No I'm to be an Inquisitor." He said. His father's face turned white. "What?!" His mother said. "An Inquisitor, the Grand Inquisitor herself picked me...I thought you would be proud." He said concerned. "Son I've never been more proud! It's just a shock, that's truly a hard branch to be selected for." His father said his face returning normal. "Well I got to go she's waiting for me." He said. "Do us proud. We love you." His mom said. "Love you too, bye!" He said then clicked the call off.


Kota waited by the elevator as guest walked along the halls, they eyed the Grand Inquisitor, even took pictures. She rolled her eyes under her helm, but this is what this floor was for public. Though they had view of the other visible floors, they were off limits as far as access to them. She watched Brutus from a distance while he interacted with his family. 'Must be nice to have a normal one.' She thought.
