Traditionally within the Imperial Military, both Navy and Army, it has been longstanding that as to adhere to uniformity the duty uniform of officers and enlisted personnel no medals or honorifics aside from rank insignia is to be applied. No change has been made nor will there be. However, to recognize that there are indeed individuals within the Galactic Empire that preform above and beyond the call of duty is appropriate and a dress uniform for specific occasions such as ceremony or other notable events is permitted.

The listed medals and awards are as follows:



Imperial Service Medal

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who have served dutifully and have proven their loyalty and dedication to uphold the Imperial Principles. This medal is awarded to the participants of a successful thread (minimum 30 total posts / 10 total posts for the awardee).

• 1st Award: Imperial Service Medal
• 2nd-5th Awards: Bronze Leaf Clusters
• 6th-9th Awards: Silver Leaf Clusters (Bronze Clusters replaced by Silver)
• 10th-13th Awards: Golden Leaf Clusters (Silver Clusters replaced by Gold)
• 14th-17th Awards: Bronze Stars (Gold Leaf Clusters are replaced by Bronze Stars)
• 18th-21st Awards: Silver Stars (Bronze Stars replaced by Silver)
• 22nd-25th Awards: Golden Stars (Silver Stars replaced by Gold)

Imperial Long Service Medal

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who have served dutifully and have proven their loyalty time and again.
The (ILSM) is awarded every six uninterrupted months to active members only (exceptions to personal emergencies). If a member is only semi-active then this medal shall not apply. To be "active" one must participate in an new or ongoing active thread every month. An "active" thread must have some sort of activity 2-4 times a week (one of these must be you). We won't count posts but we expect to see your face out there frequently in order to be "active". OOC posts and OOC threads do not count.

• 2nd-5th Awards: Bronze Leaf Clusters
• 6th-9th Awards: Silver Leaf Clusters (Bronze Clusters replaced by Silver)
• 10th-13th Awards: Golden Leaf Clusters (Silver Clusters replaced by Gold)
• 14th-17th Awards: Bronze Stars (Gold Leaf Clusters are replaced by Bronze Stars)
• 18th-21st Awards: Silver Stars (Bronze Stars replaced by Silver)
• 22nd-25th Awards: Golden Stars (Silver Stars replaced by Gold)

Combat Action Ribbon

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military for establishing themselves in a hostile environment.

Meritorious Service Ribbon

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military for being wounded in action.

Battle Excellence Ribbon

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military for themselves and of whose subordinates have preformed to the highest standards of the Imperial Navy/Army. These personnel have demonstrated conspicuous skill and efficiency in a combat situation.

Imperial Star

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who has brought great honor to their entire vessel (unit) in battle. To preserve this medal's integrity it may only be awarded three times to a single officer.

Imperial Combat Clasp

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who have proven themselves in live combat (generated battles, specifically).

• 1st Battle: Imperial Combat Clasp
• 5th Battle: Imperial Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade
• 10th Battle: Imperial Combat Clasp, Silver Grade
• 20th Battle: Imperial Combat Clasp, Gold Grade

Imperial Victory Cross

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who have distinguished themselves in live combat (generated battles, specifically) and have found victory and glory for the Empire. In a Naval Engagement the IVC is adorned with Wings. In a Army Engagement the IVC is adorned with Talons. The Imperial Seal is adorned over center of the cross.

• 2nd Victorious Battle: Navy: Bronze Wings; Army: Bronze Talons
• 5th Victorious Battle: Navy: Silver Wings; Army: Silver Talons
• 7th Victorious Battle: Bronze Imperial Seal
• 10th Victorious Battle: Silver Imperial Seal
• 15th Victorious Battle: Navy: Golden Wings; Army: Golden Talons
• 20th Victorious Battle: Golden Imperial Seal

Obsidian Crescent

Awarded to personnel of the Imperial Military who have been wounded/killed in action (generated battles, specifically). Moderate Wounds and above only.

Distinguished Medal of Imperial Honor

Awarded to Imperial Citizens. This medal is the highest award available to a member of the military for going above and beyond reasonable expectations to defend the principles of the Galactic Empire.

Additional Imperial Awards:

• Imperial Unification Medal: For service during the Cycle of the Five Empires. Loyally serving with distinction during the crisis of the Imperial War of the Five Empires that nearly brought the Empire to its knees.
• Telos IV Campaign Medal: For service against the Yuuzhan Vong invaders and stopping their terraforming operations over Telos IV.
• Csilla Campaign Medal: For service against the Chiss Ascendancy. Observance of the successful invasion and subjugation of Csilla, capital of the Unknown Regions and of the Chiss themselves.
• Shield of Imperial Center: For service against the Alliance, Blue Star Pirates and the Sith Empire. Participation in the defense of Imperial Center during the invasion and subsequent fall of that world. Successfully held the line in the face of dire odds during the mass extraction of Imperial assets from the besieged capital.
• Xilkarth Campaign Medal: (not yet issued) For service against the fanatical Sith Empire. Participation in the spearhead that made to secure Empress Krynn Karn from her imprisonment at the hands of the treacherous Darth Tormentous.
