Closing her door behind her, Kita quickly turned off the lights of her bedroom. Her nexu Warv cocked his head in curiosity as she did so as he laid on her bed. “Sorry Warv. But I need to work on accomplishing another power.” Sitting down, the young sith was ready for another training session. The only difference? She was going solo with this one. There was no one attacking her. No need to bring forth this new ability. It was out of pure will she wanted to do this…

Kita sat quietly in her room, legs crossed as she sat on the floor of her bedroom in the darkness of the night. Lifting her right hand, she turned it over, palm up and closed her eyes as she opened her mind. The Force's never ending energy flowing through everything around her. Within her. It called to her with the possibilities of creating light. A power she could definitely have used in the future and wish she had had in the past.

Kita didn't want to admit this to anyone…but she feared the Dark. Or at least…what could be hiding within it. Even just sitting there in the dead silence of night in her room gave her goosebumps. Had it not been for her Nexu nearby, she would have quickly turned the lights back on.

Her heart pounded with anxiety ever closer as Kita tried controlling the Force's energy towards her palm. The energy swirled, forming what she felt was a small ball in her palm. However it wasn't doing anything other than that. It was just a ball of cold dark Force energy. Scratching her head, Kita suddenly had an idea come to mind.

Kita began manipulating the Force. She felt electric warm pulses begin to grow in her palm. Taking a breath to calm her beating heart, The young sith opened her eyes to see a small flicker of light begin to form. Like a lightbulb, it needed pure energy to create light. Smiling, she focused more of the Force's energy into it, the ball of light began growing bigger and brighter until the room lit up with shadows dancing on the walls.

Silvanius’ chambers. A matter of location that did not matter. But one of consequence. Her arrival unto these private accomodations was simple enough but perhaps she desired rest or refreshment. Or a moment of silence in these days which was a mild comfort among the Sith Order. She would not have it as the energies of the Dark Side had a different plan in mind. Be she in a moment of repose or not - it mattered as much as the location.

The holocron of Darth Tormentous.

A pyramid of knowledge one may think a simple thing though in truth it was an advanced recording and storage device of which much was contained. Unbidden by nothing more than the currents and desires of the Dark Side itself - the holocron shifted. It unfolded. Glowing bright red from within the cracked surfaced rotated like a puzzle until pedals unfurled and revealed the core of the device. Without a moment to view further into the inner workings a brighter light snapped on and six beams of red shot out to a point in the room. They etched with great speed the form of a figure. Holographic in nature yet more as the technology of the holocron was secretive save for those privy to the knowledge.

In moments Darth Tormentous stood before her. Not quite full in scale the looming figure was endowed by his classic cape and cowl which hid his features well save for that gleaming left eye which glowed a venomous yellow. Introductions were not necessary. This was not the personage of Tormentous but rather a construct in his likeness molded from his attitude and given over to his doings.

“Rest is the stagnation of the weak. On your feet!” It commanded.

The being closed its eye briefly as if sensing the woman before it. Whether it could actually sense her or not would ever remain a point of the unknown. “You reek of unpreparedness. Wild and undisciplined. For the Sith it is essential to know discipline. Without it we are destined to relive our failures. All the power and emotion in the Force can do nothing without discipline. You must control yourself!” The construct snapped and did not hold back. In reality it was trying to get an aggressive reaction from her. A distraction to befuddle her efforts. For to accomplish a task whilst under distraction was to fully understand the lesson and truly achieve.


“Control. It is the core of our discipline. Without it we cannot control the emotions produced by others, by ourselves. Or the energy we draw in. Hatred and anger are potent fuel. But without control we cannot assess their full worth. Without discipline these energies are nothing more than toxic emotions.”

It hardly paused. Waiting for her to prepare herself was not a consideration of the Tormentous construct. It did not care for her nor gave patience to what it took to gather the mental faculties of the mind. “Your own energy field is a constant. It churns and flows around you in a circular pattern. It is the natural flow. It is never ending save for when your pathetic life is expired at which time your betters shall gain dominion over your power. I suggest you expel this weakness and concentrate so I do not waste any more of my time here.”

“Feel the emotion around you. That which others are producing from the practice cages. The stubbornness, the annoyance, the frustration, anger and all the other emotions surrounding this place. Even that of your own. Emotion is only a fraction of the product of Dark Side energy - but it is the most plentiful making it readily available to work with. Each emotion produces energy. This energy flows into the Force and begins to surround us all. Your task is to control this flow as it surrounds you. Feel the energies, touch them, reach out and draw this wild and uncontrolled form of energy from the surrounding flow of the Force and control it, draw it into your own energy field and feel the newly produced energy inside of you. It will be chaotic and uncontrolled. Naturally a Sith could instantly use this new power to boost themselves through the technique of Feed on Dark Side. They could then send powerful telekinesis or surging lightning from their persons.”

“This is not what you shall do.”

“You shall focus and make yourself a disciplinarian of the chaos within you. Control it, turn it to the flow of your energy field. Concentrate and bring it to your will. The raging energy within you is what you must control and bring to heel before your every desire. With each effort in which you call upon and command the Force it shall begin to respond faster and with more potency - this point - this fact - is what your ultimate goal shall be. No longer shall you effect an infant’s control over the Force - you shall command it! Will it! It will be your slave! And you must brook no mercy or the control you desire over the Force shall in turn control you.”

“And your weakness will only grow.”
