Location: Warvanus’ Stronghold
Planet: Karza, Sojourn’s Primary
The War-Bringer’s palace had seen no signs of neglect despite his absence.
It spoke well of those who cared for It, he would not tolerate failure of
Any kind. Droids and servants alike performed their duty flawlessly on a
Normal day but the War-Bringer was returning home, so they doubled their
Efforts.
He had many Acolytes cross his path, some lived, some died, some just vanished.
Sith training was brutal, it chipped away the pieces of your old self and put
Something fierce in its’ place. The ones who vanished he had a spy network that
Kept tabs on them. By right he should have had every single one of them killed.
His spy network had informed him that one of the stragglers was coming to Karza,
When he read the intel they provided him, he was surprised. Ashara had been under
His tutelage for a brief time. He instructed his staff to grant her clearance to land, and to make sure she was escorted to the throne room. The servants bowed their head in acknowledgment
What she would tell Warvanus when she was in his presence would determine if he
Would kill her for desertion or reinstate her status as one of his Acolytes. The currents of the Dark Side indeed swirled about this place. He entered the throne
Room and took his throne. Kinta Vetasa was off world, she had proven herself, and was on the cusp of becoming a Sith Lord herself. He now waited for the wayward Acolyte to appear before him.

Ashara strode down through the halls of the castle. Enimating a confidence she only understood, she had only hope was that her former master would see what she had accomplished. While she was escorted to his throne room the dark side filled her as memories of the past eight months replayed in her mind.
Although she feared the repercussions of her leaving without a trace, Ashara knew he was watching her. On more than one occasion she had spotted his spy droid, realizing she would have to answer to him. That day had finally come. She feared standing in the same room as him, knowing full well her actions alone signed her death warrant.
The doors to her masters throne room magically opened, by an unseen force, and only one man had the power to do so.Ashara entered alone and by the same force the door closed behind her, as a wave of emotion filled her senses,it felt as though every breath she took had been sucked out of her. The confidence she once had had been displaced as she knelt down before him.
Her next words she spoke were strong and firm never wavering, she even laughed while she told the story of her family being redeemed to the good side, and regardless she felt the need to kill them all. Ashara went into detail how she had to search for them after they went into hiding. Ashara smirked detailing how she killed making sure every single one of them suffered the consequences of their actions.
“I have returned to you now that all my family are dead, and all that remains is the force. What would you have me do master?

He watched as she entered the room, he made no shift in body language or expression. He watched her approach his throne. He did indeed knew what she was up to. It had hardened her, the fires had begun their work in tempering this acolyte into something great. Something if she realized her potential, powerful. He listened silently as she regaled him of the details of her slaughtering her family.
Warvanus was very pleased that she did this, that she took pride in her work and her skill. He sensed no remorse in the young Acolyte. On her own initative she had sought to remove the last links to her old life. The woman who now stood before him, was no longer Ashara Evanaris that identity was dead, it was not who she was. Not anymore. She would need to continue the transformation that she had begun. Normally he would have struck her down for desertion but this was a special case, and the Darkside whispered in his ear. Showing its approval at letting her live.
After she was done her tale, there was nothing but silence, long silence the tension in the air getting thicker by the moment. Warvanus studied her, peered into her through the Force.
“You do realize” he began “What you have done in deserting the Sith is punishable by death” he let that hang in the air for a very long tense filled moment. Finally when it was thought the silence would break her resolve he continued.
“You did return , and having begun your trip down the path to true power by severing the links of your former self, I find great approval in your actions” he paused again this time though he rose from his throne.
“If anyone asks, tell nobody offer no explanation” he then took a couple steps towards her “Now, you must continue the transformation you began by slaughtering your family , Ashara Evanaris is no more, you must be baptized with a new name, the truth of you as it were” and once this was done then he would continue her training, for she had indeed proved herself worthy.

She remembered the day all to well when she had heard that her family had went light. The ones that had raised her to embrace the dark side, especially her brother, the only person she had looked up to. In the heat of the moment she left in search of a reckoning to wipe out anyone from her past that would inhibit her from completely her training. Her favorite was her brother she waited to kill him last, and she never made anyone suffer as much as had done to him. In the end she made beg for his life, and she showed no mercy.
Filled with pride as she listened to her master’s words, she understood one thing. She would cut down anything in her path keeping her from attaining true power. She stood their like a statue, her focus never once straying away from his gaze. She awaited her name he master would give her

He walked up to her, placing his hand on her forehead and drew inwardly, as if peering into the Dark Side himself, normally what he was about to do would be done after they had reached a certain level of development in their training, but the Dark Side would not be denied here. He sensed greatness in his prodigal apprentice. He peered and the Dark Side spoke one name.
“From this day forward, the truth of you my Apprentice now and forever shall be Koudelka, your enemies will come to know the fury and deadliness of your might my apprentice”
After he named her he withdrew his hand.
“Come, we have much to do and your training cannot suffer any more delays” He walked her into a room that was off the throne room and inside was a garden, definitely not natural as Karza was incapable of supporting this kind of vegetation and growth. There was even a pond with fish in it. Something definitely out of the ordinary for the War-Bringer. “This garden belongs to my other apprentice, but will serve our purposes here” he began.
He sat down and motioned for her to sit down as well then he began the lesson
“As you may know, the Force is in all things, the Jedi believe in living in harmony with the Force, where as the Sith believe in dominating it to bend the Force to our will, where the Jedi believe in doing the Force’s will” he paused and indicated with a gesture around his surroundings. “What we both agree on is that the Force is everywhere, I will show you how to feel it, close your eyes and reach out, use your anger, use your hatred, expand your awareness beyond yourself, feel the fish swimming in the pond, Feel the Force in this room” He gestured around “Feel the life in this room The Force is everywhere”
He stretched out with his senses, feeling as if he was connected to every living thing in the room, memories came to the surface of the first time He had done what he just instructed Koudelka to, he remembered the intense concentration he had to do to accomplish this, and how draining it was on him after being successful , but he also knew that as he grew in power that it became easier to do, and now for one of his level of Mastery it was second nature to him.
“It will get easier to do with training and practice” he told her as he watched her with his physical eyes and with his senses in the Force.

Ashara left her name behind this day, and followed lord Warvanus through the castle to this garden that belonged to his former apprentice. She was half expecting something a little more sinister. As she proceeded to sit crosslegged. Her former self washed away only to be replaced by Koudelka. She rather enjoyed this name to her previous one, to her its sounded like a ring of death when she whispered it toi herself.
Kouldelka furrowed any eyebrow, when she saw the living garden around her, she was hoping to find something evil lurking in the shadows, but all she saw was fish in a pond. It reminded her of children skipping coins across a lake, it all made her feel sick to her stomach .
(BEGIN SENCE 1 APP 400 WORDS)
Kouldelka surveyed the area attempting to focus on the wilderness around her, the trees, even a bird dived down to catch the fish in its mouth. To no avail she had felt nothing, she tried to reach out and feel the force in and around her surroundings and came up empty. Once again she attempted to focus on one living thing, a squirrel eating a nut, she did not try to feel the squirrel itself but its surrounding energies. The nut the squirrel was carrying, even the grass underneath its feet. She had failed even to feel anything remotely to the force.
Clenching her fists beside her, her muscles tensed as anger began to reach its boiling point. Within her fists she ripped out a clump of grass, which is when she felt a small breeze flow wisping away what she had cut out. She had felt the energy around each blade of grass whither away into nothing. Koudelka needed more even though her own energy was drawn from her. She began too see how the force bended in her anger, Koudelka clenched her fists ripping even more grass feeling the force around the grass, the nuts the squirrel was eating.Koudelks was coming to understand how the force could be used to bend the energies around the living and everything in between.
Grasping for air, her anger, and the darkside began to suffocate her.She felt the force around herself crushing against her; the more angry she got; feeling the force around the living, and all she wanted was to be able to crush it the same way it pressed against her. While the jedi felt the flow of the force around themselves, Kouldelka saw it as something to harness and unleash her wrath. She could only desire to bend the force around the squirrel and crush it, she even erupted with rage that she could not harness it enough to kill the creature. Kouldelka's heart raced with every beat sucking every amount of breath out of her making it nearly impossible to breath. She was exhausted from her efforts feeling the force, her muscles relaxed while she attempted to catch a single breath.
Koudelka felt each molecule in her surroundings, and she yearned for the day to learn how to manipulate each atom and crush it as the dark side became a part of her. Every emotion, every thought of anger of the dark force turned became her passion as she felt the darkness around everything. As the darkness began to suffocate her she felt the aura around Warvanus and she felt with a simple gesture he would crush her without hesitation. Kouldelka longed for that same connection he has, to harness that same power. To bend the force at will, she felt the connection but it wasn’t enough after she felt his aura.Koudelka was completely exhausted, it felt as though the darkside crushed her from the inside out. She sat in front of her master and said nothing. Her breathing was heavy, as though she was taking her last breath. After some time. She uttered in this
“I want more"

He could feel the emotion rolling off of her like a building storm. It was
Like a sweet nectar to the Dark Side. She was beginning her path to power.
This was the first step, he would now help her refine it. He was indeed pleased
With his apprentice, but he would not show it. She had a long ways to go, despite the first most critical step.
“Now that you have touched the Force and life itself” he began “I want you to take that what you have sensed, and narrow your Focus, Concentrate on the life, from the animals to the plants and insects here, feel the life that is beneath you, and know that as a Sith that you are the highest manifestation of the Dark Side and as such it is your right to assert your dominance to those who do not walk in the currents of the Force, especially the Dark Side”
He watched her, as she would make her attempt to take that next step in the journey that would lead her to the path of power.

Kouldelka whispered the code of the sith to herself reassuring herself the connection she has surely established.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
Through her training she had learned that though the force she would be able to one day bend the energy around objects and now she was asked to sense life, a crooked smile creased her lips with the thought of bending ones life force to her will.
Taking what she had learned when she had first learned she was indeed force sensitive and now she was able to sense the dark side in and around the living and objects themselves. Now Koudelka she was giving the task to sense the living as well. Koudelka felt the need to venture around the garden to search for wildlife roaming about, plus she wanted to stretch her legs. She presumed Warvanus would not object to the matter.
Begin Life Sense 1 App 100 words
Koudelka smirked at the thought of Jedi waiting for the force to flow through them, as she tapped into the darkside sensing how is was meant to be bent around every thing she felt the energy around her surroundings. She could see the wild life as most people would think they were cute and cuddly, she viewed them as slaves to her. As she walked under a large tree, she could sense the force around its limbs, the twigs, the leaves. Looking over her shoulder he saw one that caught her attention, one that would be sinister in nature. A snake coiled around the tree, tightened its grip while she walked up to it.
Koudelka felt a connection to the reptile as though they had shared the same aura. She could feel they both shared the same instincts. When the reptile snapped its head meaning to attack her, by instinct alone she snatched it right below its head.
With several Attempts to sense the life within the creature, her anger focused on the creature as the creature continued to snap at her, she began to squeeze the reptile, when she felt it grasp for air, within her fist. Koudlelka took pleasure in feeling its life pulsating , its heartbeat echoing as she sensed it breathing. She looked into its eyes, a surge of adrenaline resounding through her as she held it firmly. She could feel its adrenaline, the snakes need to survive and lash out at her.She had never felt anything like this before, absolute hate for life and the control if it lives or dies and everything in-between. She could sense the snakes nature to fend for itself, her muscles flexed while it squirmed trying to flee from its own death. Nothing pleased her more, feeling the reptile fear for its own life squirming and trying to attack Koudleka.
All she wanted to do now was toy with the creature enjoying the power she had over of its life, loosening her grip she gave the snake the opportunity to breath life back into itself. Rather enjoying the life force being drained from the reptile while she squeezed. She kept toying with it, enjoying feeling the snakes life force extinguish with in her fist. Feeling the power of the force and the sakes life force, she had never felt such pleasure feeling something die. She held the snake up, looking into its eyes, she squeezed and with gratification felt its life slowly extinguish.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
She whispered allowed as she learned to Sense Life, now she only wished she could have felt her brothers while he begged for his life.

Still holding the snake she dropped it in front of Warvanus
”Its no longer with us” she smirked.

He watched her , if one thing he could tell she was of the most serious mind. He said nothing and rose from the sitting position. He walked over to the pond and beckoned her to follow him.
“I think Kinta kept this place because it went against her nature. It’s a good learning enviornment” then he gestured to the pond Itself.
“The Force Is like a river, it flows through all the cracks and crevices, whether man made or natural, you can block it like a river but eventually it will flow freely when enough pressure has been built. A disturbance in the Force is like a ripple” With that he picked up a stone and dropped it in the water “as the waves from the stone go outwards, so does a disturbance in the Force, it does not necessarily mean danger, in time I will teach you how to sense danger but right now I want you to concentrate on sensing the disturbances in the Force, the stones in the pond if you will”
With that he continued walking “If I were to do what you did and kill an animal then my actions will create a disturbance in the Force, this can be from an insignificant death to the death of a planet and its population” He then came to a spot in the garden where lizards were fighting for the same food source.
“Even here the food chain is being served while this in Itself is not a disturbance as its part of the natural order of things, the snuffing of a life itself can create a disturbance”
With that Warvanus went over to one of the lizards and picked it up by it’s neck. “Close your eyes and call on the Force I want you to tell me where the source of the next disturbance occurs and how you found it” He then held the lizard and put it down him killing it would be too easy.
Off in the distance in the garden a larger snake began its long slow feast of a womp rat. It slowly took in more and more of the rodent as it struggled to free itself and to live another day, but the snake which was six feet in length and big as a python dominated its place in the food chain but devouring the womp-rat. The life of the womp-rat would eventually snuff out, and if his apprentice was immersed in the Force she would through concentration be able to sense it in the Force.

Koudelka’s confidence in herself and her connection with the force filled her with passion to learn the next step in her training. Force disturbance, she only wished that Warvanus asked her to be the disturbance in the force. Koudelka could understand from a certain point of view why his other apprentice would have such a garden, she herself probably would not spend much of her time here unless it was for training purposes.
Begin Sense Force Disturbance 100 words
As before Kouldelka was becoming more comfortable using the force and it was becoming a lot like second nature for her to do so, she knew she would be able to sense life and the force around the garden. She practically enjoyed experiencing the force the jedi considered unnatural. Which the sith did and Koudelka now had the ability to reach out with the force and sense it within her surroundings. She latched onto the conflict this place gave her, the birds, the life abundantly around this place. She hated the harmony they were all in and wanted to feel the animosity she feels inside.
She searched for anything that felt off in her surroundings, but she had yet to find anything that fell like something different was happening around her.. Off in the distance, she had felt two lifeforms, one-she smiled to herself was a predator a snake off in the distance was closing in on an unsuspecting rat. She felt the snake through the force and its objective. Through the force she sensed the two life forms, she searched with the force any anamolities in her surroundings and she found it when the snake began to devour the rat.
She didn’t believe it was evil that another creature took another’s life but Koudelka wanted to experience it with the force. To feel life being snuffed out by another gave her the utmost satisfaction. Koudelka could feel a balance between both predator and prey .
This wasn’t about the life of the snake or the rat that is being eaten but she felt it as the snake devoured rat and the disruption of the cycle of the universe when life is taken. It felt as though a deafening pulse radiated through her mind that something was lost never to live again. She had to close her eyes for a moment as she thought her mind was going to implode. It felt it like a resounding gong echoing through her body, with one hand rubbing her temples to sooth the ache she felt in her mind. Within a moments breath it was gone, she could feel the balance was as it should be and all she desired was there to be conflict.
