Neive had not been to Kota station in a while. It seemed as good a time as any for him now, however, as with all the conflict, both internal and external, it was time he continued his training not as just another force user, but as a Jedi. The dark had shrouded over him heavily, and Neive could tell by some of the looks of the more honed jedi, that it was apparent...
As he entered a large room with several jedi speaking to one another, Neive quietly approached the podium in the middle. Although they were not the high council, the group were some of the ones that assigned masters to students. This was the topic of discussion for Neive today.
He needed a guide, however much he hated to admit it.
"Neive Undant... a surprise to see you here, to say the least. Yuan Mynb, one of the few Jedi that were in person at the station, greeted him.
"My apologies for the interruption... I seek guidance."
"Of course, Neive... what can we help you with?"
Neive looked down for a moment, taking a breath.
"In the times of war, my mind has strayed from the path I have chosen to walk down. It feels like a shroud has fell over me, especially now. The dark side has been using me... but rather than tempting me, it has instead taken my body by force on 2 occasions..."
The group looked at him for a moment, a couple of them noticeably nervous at Neive's words.
"I can feel the presence of the dark side within you, indeed, Neive. But do not let that presence control your image of yourself."
Yuan took a moment to think.
"My opinion, you should have a teacher. Someone to keep you on your path in the light."
"Hold on..." Sam Tallav, a junior member of the council. His holographic image looked over Neive.
"While I agree he needs a teacher, how can we be sure that his intentions are true to the council? If the dark side has used him as a vessel twice already, it could happen again, and I don't want any Jedi's life risked to friendly fire."
Yuan nodded a bit, looking to the image of Tallav. "Indeed. But after months of surveillance, Neive's actions have proved to be true to the Alliance, and with our affiliation, I believe he has proven himself worthy of at least a master."
"I agree. He DID rescue master Kenobi from the sith on Dromund Kaas, and has faced off against imperials and Sith alike." Rodric Secura spoke up, another image of the master projected.
Yuan smiled at Neive and nodded once more, resting her hands on her lap.
"I suppose it's decided then, once we have a quick talk with the council."
The others nodded.
"Who would be up to teaching him? It will have to be someone who has ties to the dark side, as Neive does, so he can keep its influence on him in check."
Yuan agreed. "We'll have to decide that soon, I hope. Until then, Neive, please wait on this station. We will have an answer to you as soon as we can."
With that, Neive nodded and left the room, looking at the halls of the station around him. How would he keep busy while he waited, he wondered? A quick talk, knowing the council at times, could take hours...

Neive walked along the hangar bays as he has done before, thinking as he looked at the many ships. However, seeing one, he stopped. A fairly new YT, with a sign on it.
"For: Neive
From: staff
reason: he posted first"
Neive had so many questions.
What did it mean by 'He posted first'? He hadn't been on the text channels for the GA in a while, and it had been even longer since he wrote anything on them.
And who in Jabba's name is "Staff"???
Well, Neive thought, better not look a gift Bantha in the mouth. A ship was a ship, he thought, even if he didn't know how or why he got it.

When Neive was finished looking over the new vessel, he continued his walk into the crevices of Kota station. He walked through the brightly lit halls, a bit uncomfortable with such an amount of light, as he was used to the darkness of worlds like Umbara, Dathomir, mandalore... or sitting in the cockpit of his vessels, with a dim light giving him vision to see the controls of the ships. Such a light he was in now, it reminded him of the light that shines on Hapes, the small time he spent there before he had entered the Sith Praexium's regime.
Neive eyed a small training area, made for melee combat. He looked at his lightsaber for a minute, before entering the small hallway that led around the larger training room. Neive took out his saber and turned down the hardness of the blade. The energy levels would lower, allowing him to swipe and strike targets without cutting. Neive opened the door to the training room and walked forward, a small computer terminal in the middle of the circular room. He activated it and thought for a moment, before he started the simulation on Normal difficulty.
A group of droids stepped forward, holograms enveloping them before they quickly donned the identities of stormtroopers. Neive activated the red blade of his lightsaber as the terminal slid down, the floor covering it as it practically disappeared under the room.
As they raised their blasters, Neive took a breath, before jumping backwards. The fight was on.
Neive stood behind one of the troopers, grabbing one of his arms, the one that held the trigger for the blaster. He aimed the weapon quickly, as a few laser bolts flew towards him, hitting the trooper in front of him as he fired back, before dropping the fallen trooper, the hologram expiring and the droid crawling away, trying to stay undetected as he acknowledged his defeat.
Neive shot sideways, his blade slicing through the next, before Neive jumped up, shoving the tip of the blade down through the chest of another, bringing the blade up and blocking more enemy fire before jumping forward, behind another trooper who was shot in the back by a friendly. Neive stood, holding his blade in defense.
However, a presence in the force stopped everything.
Neive could feel it... his presence was not just in spirit...
"He's alive."
Neive froze before he felt a shooting pain in his chest, falling back onto the ground. He looked up, before looking at his chest. Slight burns were on his armor where he had felt the pain.
"Simulation failed. Total enemies defeated: 9. Total enemies victorious: 1."
Neive looked up as the single droid stood, his hologram fading as the droid backed into the entrance chamber. Neive looked around as the droids went back to their original positions and the terminal rose from the floor again.

"what the hell happened to my credits?!"
Neive looked at a datapad that showed a reciept as he leaned on a hallway wall, outraged.
"The monthly raffle? What in the name of..."
He looked at the list, 1-100 of different people who bought places... Neive had 5 places on the list.
"What the blazes... 10,000 credits? I wasted 30,000 credits on a raffle I didn't even know existed?"
Neive looked at the other 2 spots. Zechs Merquise bought them for him, apparently.
"Why did an admiral...?" Neive was cluttered with questions. But with a 1,000,000 credit prize, he may be able to obtain that action V he wanted and transport some Resources. He shook his head, thinking. These people, all from different factions. Blood was there, he saw, Rhoden, Kota, Buggie...
Well, he thought... if it gave him a chance to make some profit, then he didn't mind. But if he spent 30,000 credits for nothing, especially if he didn't knowingly spend them, someone would have to pay.
in credits... not blood. Neive wasn't an animal anymore.
But they would pay nonetheless.

The raffle ended.
Neive lost.
He was less than satisfied.

Neive sighed before he entered the combat chamber again, raising the difficulty. advanced mode... Neive nodded and activated it, watching as the holo-droids stepped forward, donning the holograms of the stormtroopers, and one in the middle: an inquisitor.
(begin force app: advanced lightsaber combat)

Neive took out his lightsaber, the troopers aiming as the inquisitor stepped forward. Neive stepped back before jumping up and over the man, quickly slicing down the back of a trooper. The inquisitor lunged forward , the lightsaber he held going through the chest of the trooper. Neive rolled to the side, a pain shooting in the back of his head(danger sense). He swung the lightsaber behind him, deflecting a bolt back at a trooper and hitting him in the side of the head. Neive looked back as the inquisitor again swung his lightsaber down, Neive bringing his own to deflect. Neive looked over as 2 more troopers aimed, rolling to the side and letting the inquisitor's saber deflect one shot while Neive deflected the other, both of them bouncing back and hitting their sources. Neive spun around and swung his saber again, watching the inquisitor flip backwards over the blade and stand again in front of him. Neive backed up before feeling the pain in his head once again, taking the chance to jump to the side as another blaster bolt flew now at the inquisitor, who deflected it right at Neive. He thought quick, bringing his saber up and blocking it, the bolt shooting into the roof of the room. Neive looked at the trooper that shot the projectile before pulling out one of his vibro blades, running at the trooper and throwing it. The blade shoved itself into the head of the trooper as Neive jumped behind it, the inquisitor running forward as Neive drove his lightsaber back through the back of the trooper.
Neive heard a distinct closing of a lightsaber as he held the handle of his own. He looked down before looking back. The blade of his saber had gone through the back of the already fallen trooper, and into the midriff of the inquisitor...
Neive closed his saber and stood, picking up his vibro blade. However, he felt one more presence. One last trooper. He again threw his vibro blade, opening his lightsaber as a shot fired off. Neive watched the trooper use his forearm to block the blade that soared towards it, walking forward as it shot again. Neive deflected the block, and watched as the bolt hit the trooper in the stomach... but it didn't fall. Still, it walked forward. Neive ran up and cut the blaster barrel the trooper had before sending his blade through the chest of the trooper. It stood for a minute, before elbowing Neive in the jaw and throwing him down. The trooper walked forward and picked up the lightsaber of the fallen inquisitor... Neive looked up at the droid that guised itself as an imperial. He sighed. Must be a glitch in the system, Neive thought. He ran forward, quickly turnign the knob of blade intensity before jumping forward, slicing through the midsection of the droid before turning and decapitating it, the hologram fading as the droid fell into a pile of parts on the floor.

Neive looked at the faulty droid he had destroyed... it was strange. Why did it go for the inquisitor's saber? He surely had not changed programs mid-battle...
Strange.

Wait a moment.
Neive looked at his lightsaber. This whole training session, he was using...
he had a...
his blade was...
Neive looked around before nervously walking out of the room, hoping nobody saw him or the blade of the lightsaber he had used. Perhaps having the saber he had while in Jedi Central wasn't the best idea...
But nonetheless, out of sight, out of mind, he thought.
Neive entered the meditation chambers. It seemed someone had been doing an exercise with telekinesis, as boxes and miscellaneous items were scattered throughout the floor, with one clearing in the middle for someone to sit down. Neive walked to the clearing and took a seat on the floor, closing his eyes. 3rd time is the charm, 3rd time is the charm, he told himself. He sighed, feeling the bits of energy from the sentiment of the items, though it was barely there. However, he needed to do his best to make this attempt to further his learning count.
(begin force app: alteration lvl 2)
(word requirement: 700 words)
(begin)
Neive reached out with the force, just as he had in the remains of dathomir, and gripped the energy fields of the items. One at a time, he pulled and strung them together, almost braiding the fields of potential energy with each other. From one object to the next, including 4 or 5 small items sitting on other things like boxes, their energy became connected, intertwined with one another until it was almost like a web of energy. And Neive was within the center of the web. He began to intertwine the energy web with his own field, becoming a full part of the stitching. However, this was done once before. He needed to push it a step farther. He thought for a moment before he had an idea. Turn the potential energy into kinetic energy. This would cause motion... and a great change in the environment. He began to tap into the energy, seeing all the stored power that was within the items, before letting it unleash. He let go, the web causing a chain reaction of kinetic energy... motion.
The items quickly moved, though only about 3 inches each. Some of the smaller objects fell from the perches of boxes and such that they sat on, and once again Neive reached out, not wanting any of them to break. He bottled the energy back into the objects that were falling, the web becoming much smaller as only about 4 or 5 objects were connected to him now. However, those objects were in stasis from the energy becoming potential. They did not move, although the artificial gravity was still pulling at them, though they did not move from it... they were floating off the ground. Although Neive knew that until he learned how to utilize this properly, he probably would not be able to usefully remember what he was doing in the future, but as he struggled to keep a grasp on the energy that wanted to become kinetic once more because of the gravity, he slowly let his grip on the objects loosen. The kinetic energy rose, and they fell to the ground, however as Neive kept a slight grip on them, they moved down slowly rather than falling hard onto the metal floor. Neive couldn't do that again even if he tried... but perhaps later on he could learn how to do this on a regular basis.
Once this was finished, Neive could feel his grip on the web of objects slipping, before letting go. It was time to move on. Rather than objects, Neive thought, perhaps he could focus on the air?
Neive looked over and saw a small candle. One of the items he had kept from breaking by falling to the floor. He thought before closing his eyes once more, and reaching up towards the ceiling.
The lights were emitting heat... He reached out to the molecules of the air near the lights and began raking and pulling them. This did not cool the light, but only took the heated molecules from around it. He pulled the molecules towards the ground and over to the candle, revolving them around the top of the candle... nothing.
Neive then began to pressurize the molecules, rubbing them against each other as they began to speed up in their movements, more heat generating around the candle, however his goal was not achieved. The candle slowly began to melt from the heat, however the candle never lit. he let the heated air disperse... perhaps flames were too elusive for now.
Instead, he focused not on the temperature, but on the air itself. He began letting the force's flow guide the air, pulling it with the flow of the force. Slowly, a small indoor breeze began to flow around him, brushing against him as the force moved around him, and sometimes flowing onto him and scattering as the force flowed through him, while the air could not. He felt the air slowly cool down as it moved, the circulation keeping their temperature low. Neive thought before he once again began to speed up the flow, and with it the path of air. The temperature soon rose, before he put his arms out, feeling the flow of the force stop at his will. All around him, it was perfectly still, the air, the force... and quickly, the temperature dropped around him. He let go of his grip on the flow of the force around him, feeling the force pull some of the air back to the very slight breeze he had felt when he had began.
(end force app: alteration lvl 2)
(word requirement: 700)
(word count: 765)
Neive looked down... what had that been that he had performed? He heard about jedi being able to "pick up rocks" and such, but knew not how this power was performed... he would have to look into learning to perform this act on a regular basis in the near future, but he would have to know how to alter the force as he just did... was this sufficient? Did he increase his knowledge? he didn't feel different, but he never did... but in any case, he tried. Time would only tell if he had figured it our completely or not.
