Title says it all; what's the guidance on having useful pets here? Specifically I'm interested in aquiring a vornskyr (the psychic space-wolf with the nurotoxically venomous tail-barbs), but if that's out of the question, what comparable mid-sized predators might be allowed? Perhaps a pygmy nexu? I promise I'll feed him and train him and give him lots of exorcize! Even if it isn't until I get closer to Knighthood, I'd like to be able to plan ahead for it.

Animals are NPCs like anything else, but in your specific case, the burden would have to be on you to explain why your character has a vornskyr and where they got the knowledge to tame one. The expectation would be that you'd provide that content in a character development thread of some sort.

Say no more! I'll cook up something cool as my story goes on. This is another example of the kind of long term plots that I hope to get famous for!
