[Think this is the correct place for an intro]

Hola! Just trying to do this right. Reading over the site and thought this might be fun. Please feel free to reach out to me.

Heyo! Welcome! We got all sort of cool stuff to be a part of, Jedi, Sith, the Empire, the Alliance, Pirates, Mandalorians, etc. What do you have in mind?

As a member of the Jedi Coalition, I can recommend you join us, it is pretty fun saving the galaxy and all that.

Thank you for the warm Welcome Adar! I was actually thinking (a bit strange i know) about not being a Jedi, Sith, or Force wielder. I kinda like the idea of a Mandalorian, pirate, mob boss, bounty hunter, or smuggler. The everyday folks in the Galaxy, you know?

Thank you Master Buggie! Seeing as you are Staff you seem like the appropriate Master to ask questions too. In the Guide it says 10 days in the "Docking Bay" before I can be accepted. Will a Staff member RP with me, be assigned to me, or do I message a member at the end of those days? I am very excited to get started even though I admit that I feel lost as to "who" my character will really be at the moment.

Just look at the date you first post in the Docking Bay. Ten days later, submit a character application. When one of us sees it in the queue we can glance at the thread to verify all is in order and approve from there.

I'm sorry! Haha- I guess I wrongfully assumed you were a Jedi?

I don't really know much about the factions on site. Adar mentioned a few before but I didn't see a "Mandalorian" section in the Faction Forums. Though I do see these Infamous Pirates you speak of, Master Buggie! I have no problem joining a Merry Band of Blue Raiders. Is there a code of sorts I need to follow? Actually (and I am so sorry if this comes off as cross because I would never want to look a gift horse in the mouth) is there a benefit to join factions? Other than RP with fantastic Insectoids such as yourself of course!

I am a Jedi. Different people have different opinions on it, and it's long story, but it's one I can share later. As for factions, you do get the benefit of accessing their store and the unique items and ships that each offers. There are also faction bonuses built into the system (the Sith hands down have the best one) and any additional monetary or item rewards that a faction could offer. Generally you do want to be in a faction.
