RABÉ NUUR SOLANA
Gender: Female
Species: Arkanian Offshoot (Strand-Cast)
Age: Unknown; young adult female
Faction: Jedi Coalition, Galactic Alliance
Capsule: Lonely warrior, inspiriting leader.
Appearance: Rabé Nuur Solana is a pale-skinned humanoid female standing at 5'3" and possessing frosty ocean blue eyes sparkling with hawkish alertness, white hair that is long enough to reach down to her lower back when let loose, and soft, fair, almost-bleached skin. She has been keen to stylize her hair into buns - double, triple or sextuple (three on each side of her head) - and occasionally, single or multiple braids, although she has no qualms about wearing it straight either. She has a heart-shaped face with a button nose, an ectomorphic body type with a straight figure, and nimble fingers that reflect her aptitude for piloting. Speaking with a Core accent, Rabé has a soft and mellow voice, with a soothing and comforting quality. When she walks, people look. When she speaks, people listen.
Rabé's wardrobe is extensive. Her typical attire consists of a black tank top underneath a white Corellian-cut full-sleeved field jacket with silver-studded shoulder padding, and white Rebel Trooper pants, baring her midriff, with her lightsaber attached to her black utility belt. All of this is usually concealed beneath traditional white robes. She has also been seen garbed in white robes of the old Alderaanian fashion, to honor her master and adoptive 'father', as well as the modest tans and browns, or creams and greys, of the Jedi. Many people who knew the famous Rebel and Galactic Alliance leader Princess Leia Organa Solo of Alderaan in her youth, would comment that Rabé possesses an uncanny resemblance to the old war hero in both mentality and mien.

Visible Personality: Once described as “a binary star system packed into five feet and four inches”, Rabé Nuur Solana is a confident young woman crackling with positive energy. Able to light up any hall or chamber she enters with just her mere presence, she is bold enough to voice what she feels needs to be said and yet refined enough that she says with subtlety and wit that leaves an impression. Reliable and assured, she gravitates towards positions of leadership. Inspirational in the way she carries herself and in the way she can formulate an oration out of thin air when in the thick of it, Solana's words and deeds often stimulate the masses into action.
She values honesty and the ability to get things done; however, she is not blunt - and wouldn't really point out or make it too obvious if someone wasn’t living up to her standards. She would, instead, opt to just finish the task herself instead of leaving it to someone else. Committed and steadfast, Rabé values structure in everything from her duties as a Jedi to her personal life. Reliable and assured, she takes to positions of leadership like a sarlacc to the Dune Sea.
True Personality: While naive in more practical matters and still inexperienced in the affairs of the galaxy, Rabé Nuur Solana is, by nature, an old soul. Although she can and will light up a starship with her charm and wit, she would do so only when it accomplishes a higher purpose and, once done, would subsequently hang to a side for the rest of the night. A civilized lady, despite her illimitable reserves of energy, she possesses insight and depth that is hard for many other people to completely understand, so she keeps her true thoughts to herself. Capable of seeing past the many facades of the galaxy, Rabé sees that most of the sentients she knows are either keeping the truth from her, are distrustful of her, or are using her for some purpose of their own, and this inability of hers to fully trust another has rendered her plagued by intense loneliness.
Knowing that she is an engineered entity and not a natural conceptus has cemented in her disquiet and sobriety. When alone, lying in her warm sheets in the otherwise freezing Permafrost nights, her anxious thoughts relentlessly formulate the very same questions: how she was created, who made her, from whom she was made, for what horrid purpose would someone want to engineer a being such as herself, and whether any of her genetic donors are still alive. If they are, are they or were they good people, and most importantly, whether they would still want anything to do with her? Did she have a chip inside her head, like the clones of olde, that would one day make her an instrument of the Dark Side's eventual vengeance?
History:

The Girl in the Cloning Tank on Durace
Leṭīph Nuur Solana was a Human male Jedi Master from New Alderaan, a direct-line descendant of the Alderaanian House of Qel-Droma on his father's side, while his mother hailed from Naboo. In the first quarter of 25 ABY, while he was on a mystic retreat to the Permafrost Jedi Enclave, the venerable master was overtaken by a vision that, according to him, was so powerful that it overwhelmed his senses even while he was standing, wide awake, in broad daylight (or as broad as daylight gets on the ice world of Permafrost). Following the irresistible inclinations the vision inculcated within him, the Jedi Master undertook a journey into the Unknown Regions on his Eta-5 Actis interceptor. Flying without a navicomputer, the Jedi Master let the Force direct his flight path and eventually arrived in the stormstruck, derelict, toxic world of Durace.
Upon making planetfall and using the Force to light his path and forge for him a safe way through the toxic storms plaguing the planet, Leṭīph Nuur Solana would eventually discover a strange, exotic laboratory. While the lab appeared to have been abandoned some time ago, it was apparent that it had once been the playground of clone engineers. Highly advanced life support tanks, resembling bacta tanks, stood like pillars against the walls of the third subbasement level. Most of the life forms, the great majority of them deformed, had expired a long time ago. Some of the glass tanks were broken, and carcasses of failed clones were in steady supply. Moreover, the entire place reeked of the Dark Side.
Despite that, there was a strand of light that seemed to pull Solana towards the very deepest confines of the experimental chambers. The Master followed it. After crossing a broken tank that contained, disturbingly, the decayed skeletal remains of a human right hand, singular and bodiless, the Jedi suddenly found what the Force had been directing him towards. A girl or young woman, still alive, the last remaining survivor of this facility. The Jedi Master could only guess at what sinister purpose the facility had been used for at some point in the past. From what meager data was accessible in the facility around the cloning tank, it appeared that she was an Arkanian Offshoot that had been engineered using a technique known as strand-casting. Genes harvested from numerous other specimens had been added to an Arkanian base template, the original host's genetic code having been significantly altered to produce a "not-quite-identical" modified clones. The Master paled somewhat when he recognized the names of some of her templates.
Solana could sense how strongly the Force was with the girl. He surmised that sensing her own impending demise through the Force, the unconscious woman had somehow contacted him through telepathy. Why she had contacted him specifically was anyone's guess, but the Jedi Master knew, despite every brain cell telling him otherwise, that he had to save her. Releasing the girl from her cloning tank, the Master sensed within her the innocence and naivete of a child despite her apparent age.
Upon being released from the cloning tank and becoming conscious for the first time, the girl, still disoriented and senseless - resisted, pushing the Jedi Master back with a strong Force push. They wrestled for a bit in the Force but, eventually, the far more experienced Master managed to calm the girl down and get her to trust him. Solana managed to tame the Girl in time, for, just then, a fierce planetary storm hit the surface of Durace, the purple lightning bolts striking the lab as if alive and enraged at Master Solana's interruption of the planetary status quo, acting in malevolent vengeance. Rescuing the girl from the lab moments before the lightning storm destroyed it, Master Solana took her with him back to Permafrost, revealing the sequence of events to his fellow Masters on the Council.

Jedi Master Nuur Solana
As the Jedi High Council debated amongst themselves on what they should do with the Girl, as she had taken to being called, Master Solana discovered that the trauma of her awakening and subsequent Force outburst had caused her to suppress her connection to it. Meanwhile, spending the next few days watching over her caused the girl to grow on the venerable Jedi Master, who had never had children of his own. He taught her the basics of the language, social etiquette, the Force, the Jedi and the Sith, galactic history, and how to pilot a starfighter, which she instantly developed a fondness for and showed great aptitude in. He named her Rabé, after his own Nubian mother.

Rabé exploring Permafrost
Inquisitive and intelligent, Rabé quickly grasped the general concept of how to live in the galaxy, her naivete quickly replaced by artfulness and guile. After having thoroughly explored her surroundings to her own satisfaction, all she wanted to do was to get off of Permafrost and go see the wider galaxy that she had heard so much about from Master Solana and seen on the holo. After months of deliberation, the Jedi High Council decided that the risk of leaving someone with her potential in the Force untrained and vulnerable to the Dark Side outweighed the risk of her being trained and then turning to the Dark Side - for at least, in the former case, she could be prepared to resist. Naomi Kilsar, Grandmaster of the Coalition, ultimately opined that as the Force itself had guided Master Nuur Solana specifically to the girl, he, specifically, should bear the burden of her training...
Motivation, likes and dislikes: She has a natural curiosity about the galaxy, having only been on two planets for most of her life. She enjoys spacefaring, piloting, lightsabers and lightsaber duels, the rain, natural greenery and planets that exhibit such, bantha meat and meditating upon the Force. Tender-hearted, she dislikes arrogant snobs, the thought of hurting others, the aching in the Force that follows the death of a sentient, and the very existence of the Dark Side.
