Hello there! I'm not at all new to roleplaying, but I am new to this site. Found it as I've been in a Star Wars mood since watching TLJ. Thought I'd throw in a character I developed a bit ago. She seemed to fit a necessary niche here of non-Force sensitive good guys.

Aria Tade is a human military scout, about 32 years old, working for the Galactic Alliance. She's grizzled, a bit stubborn, but friendly, wisecracky yet professional. She could easily be a green if required, though I'm not sure how military ranks work here for starting characters--if anyone could inform me, that'd be great.

I know this is pretty basic, but I'm mostly testing the waters on this site right now. Any interest and I'll start a Docking Bay thread.

Hey, welcome to SL. Don't let the "Sith" scare you. (S)he's a big softy. I'm one of the co-leaders of the Alliance at the moment and we'd love to have you join us. I don't think it's entirely necessary for the character to be a fresh recruit but certainly not some high ranking member either. Use your discretion and I'm sure it'll be just fine! After 10 days, you can hop over to www.sithlore.com and create a character profile for yourself. We don't deny anyone as long as they RP in the Docking Bay for 10 days, so feel free to kick off some rust if you haven't RPed in a while.

Since I mentioned PMs, I'd like to take another moment to alert you to a small bug we're having on the forums. To read new PMs or to view old messages that you've already read in your inbox, please click "Private Messages," then click "View Messages." If you're on mobile, once you click "Private Messages," there's a little three-bar drop down menu icon that you can click on the grey bar there. You'll be able to click "View Messages" from there. It's a little inconvenient, but it will be fixed.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! My only question would be what a good planet that she would likely be deployed to would be for the DB thread.

Check out this thread. There's TONS of planets and systems that an Alliance scout could feasibly be deployed to, each with its own varying level of Alliance military presence. Check out the map if you want to look at where the front lines are in the galactic conflict.

My personal recommendation for the Docking Bay is to stick within Alliance territory until you're made formal, since there's no battles allowed in the Docking Bay. You will not post in the Docking Bay after 10 days when you're made official, unless it is to recruit another new member. You could be on Naboo, the Galactic Alliance capital. You could be on Rhen Var, which is part of a small salient that juts into the Empire's territory. You could justifiably be anywhere as a scout! What suits you?

Welcome to SithLord, I’m Rev a local trouble maker. Always good to see new faces, especially the “good” guys kind. As far as starting world, anything on the “southern” half of the Galactic map is GA so that’s where I’d recommend starting. Bespin is probably a safe place, there’s a military base there that deals with spec ops groups, at least last I checked. Or Naboo, that’s the current capitol. But up to you, or Ord and Zechs since they will be your Faction leaders.
