So, some time ago, at this point it's been years, I was on this board as a character called Vesper. I've toyed with the idea of returning for the last six months or so and I've decided it's time. I'll be doing a different character though, a former NPC some of you oldheads might recognize: Emic Lai. I'll get around to making a Docking Bay post probably sometime in the next 24 hours but I just wanted to say "hey."

A little bit about Emic if you don't know or remember and want to make your case for a faction recruitment:

Emic was born on Iridonia, a Zabrak raised in the incredibly violent culture of her homeworld. She was an only child but grew up in her familial estate, fistfighting with her older cousins every day. She, like the others of her planet, became an extremely violent and hostile adult, serving as a soldier for a brief time before leaving her home planet to work as a mercenary. She found herself in the employ of a Sith called Vesper, with whom she shared a unique bond. They traveled together for about a year before Vesper left for parts unknown, leaving Emic to her own devices once again.

Emic believes that political power is fleeting, and the cycle of rise and collapse is inevitable. But she also believes that while nothing can last forever, if you're not fighting for something, you're ultimately unimportant. To be unimportant is the greatest misfortune of all.

And that's about all I've got at the moment. I'm sure more will come up later.

I don't know ya but welcome back, i've been here almost 2 years and dont know what faction you were in before or not, but Sith are always looking for peeps if this interests you

My old character was a Sith, and that would be definitely my style, but I've also got a part of myself that wants to throw a curveball this time.

I totally get wanting to do something different (which was why i went sith when I joined) if you decide you want to rejoin we'd love to have ya

Maybe I'll throw up my DB post and we'll see what happens. In any case I'm hype to see how the board has changed. You know, besides the new website.
