Welcome back to the sensation sweeping the nation; the Sithlore Monthly Raffle-- Less Tickets Than Ever Edition! You thought the odds were good last month, huh? Well now they just got better! WHAMMY!



Here's how it will work:

This raffle is 50 (Read: FIDDY) tickets, which you may purchase for a grand prize of 500,000 credits! I know what you're thinking, "Aww, Buggie, por que, why not a max pot of 1,000,000 credits?" Well, the answer is simple, YOU'RE ALL TOO POOR! No one bought tickets last month, so I had to reduce the total pot, but I think you guys will still play with the rules the way they are right now.

Each person may own 10 tickets max. You are able to purchase up to 10 tickets on behalf of someone else, but no one participating in this raffle may possess more than 10 tickets. Each ticket will cost 10,000 credits. That's right! Tickets are back to 10,000 a pop! Spend up, baby!

New Rule! The people have spoken, and I have listened! If you won the large pot last month, you are ineligible from purchasing 10 tickets. You will be restricted to a limit of 5 tickets. Since you won last month, you're filthy rich, so we will seize the means of production and try to redistribute wealth elsewhere. Feel free to come back next month and buy 10 tickets again, though.

This month's lucky five ticket restriction goes to: Master Buggie (ME!)

Feel free to choose your ticket numbers #1 through #50 when you purchase. Please specify in this thread which numbers you want. Do not choose a number that has already been purchased.

You must send your credits on the SLIU to the user named Spreadsheet. If you transfer credits to any other user, they may be forfeit and no tickets will be purchased from that transaction. The staff assume no responsibility for recovering lost credits if you fail to send to Spreadsheet as instructed.

The winner will be drawn on July 1st, or any time after the tickets are all sold.

Also, in case anyone has any unvoiced reservations about participating since I dominated the big kahuna pool last month, I have done a significant amount of soul searching and I have come to the conclusion on my own that I will bow out from participating in either pool from this point forward. Obviously, there is some degree of interest from the community in participating in these raffles, and I realized on my own that by me holding tickets, it calls the entire drawing process into question.

As a result, I will of course retain the money I spent on tickets last month (got bills to pay), and, in an uncharacteristic show of generosity, offer to purchase tickets for any new players that would like to participate, up to the amount of 112,000 credits. I'll judge if you're new, but generally, I'm talking about if you've been here only a matter of months. What's the catch? Two tickets per person (in both pools, so two in the big kahuna, two in the small), and you've got to post in the relevant thread to claim them.

Please understand that this decision was made by myself in order to uphold the high standards that the community should expect from this type of event. I am hopeful that this announcement will alleviate any hesitation that anyone still sitting on the fence (loser) has about participating in this great event.
