Trassek felt a swelling feeling ...from his twin stomachs a resounding base rumble filled the room as they entered and Drallac started packing. The Barabel was hungry. Trassek pounced on the cold storage unit in their room, knowing full well that this would be bis last chance to eat fresh kill for a while. He'd done some extra hunting the previous night figuring there would be no time to hunt today if things went well.
“This One will be happy to leave.” lifting and downing hunks of meat in a single gulp “The wildlife here iz tasty but no challenge.” Sissing in amusement he finishes off the contents of the unit and moves to his bed. Barabel are primal hunters by nature, therefore never have many belongings to begin with. However he did have a small collection of personal affects. Around his waist went a standard issue utility belt, to that he clipped a set of spring loaded Vibro-Blades each blade was sharp enout to pierce a Shenbit's hide. Pulling a small leather bag out of one of the storage boxes on his shelf he lifted a small silver metal object from the shelf next to his bed. Upon closer inspection one could see it was a broken charred half of a light-saber. A memento to go a light pink scar that circled his upper forearm. Quickly placing it in the bag tying it shut he ties it to his belt. Other than that there wasn't much else to pack, a single change of civilian clothing, his 'dress' uniform and the jar of cream he'd picked up from the infirmary. The weather on this planet had caused a bad case of scale rot...in the most uncomfortable of places.
Lifting the bag over his shoulder he turns to Drallac. “This One is ready”

The metal-alloy seats of Assault Shuttle Omicron 8 were every bit as a cold and chaffing as the Captain had promised. Nonetheless, for lack of comfort, the journey from the surface of Botajef to underbelly of the Star Destroyer Reverent provided a first taste of military transportation, and promised secure passage if nothing else. Touching down on the gleaming black durasteel tarmac, Omicron 8 was not left waiting for long, as a hurried cluster of mechanics and flight personnel began their series of post-landing checks and cargo reviews. At the same time, pilots and other technical engineers could be seen hard at work at the far side of the hangar, performing various maintenance and recalibrations on the bushel of TIE's safely nested in their individual storage racks above.
Cadets Drallac and Veilser were left to wait for a time, positioned in formation along with a small of handful of recruits that had been picked up along the way. They were of course, human, but despite the occasional, lop-sided glance, nothing about their small talk betrayed any hostility towards the Falleen and Barabel in their midst. After some minutes of idle chatter, two uniformed officials broke onto the scene, flanked by troopers clad in the all-too-familiar white plastoid. The officer on the right was distinguished by her naval grey attire, her rank plaque identifying her as a lieutenant. To the continued, muted surprise of the other new arrivals, she likewise sported a pair of fleshly antennae, unapologetically sprouting from two improvised holes in her fabric cap.
A Balosar. Another uncommon sight within the Imperial war machine. And yet, her decidedly human counterpart seemed not the least bit incensed by unlikely cooperative. "Recruits, I am Major Thaltizon", the man began, "I will oversee your continued training aboard this vessel, and will be directly responsible for dispatching you to your various assignments". Thaltizon paused, and narrowed his eyes. He met the gaze of each would-be soldier for a second or two, before adding, "There is no room for dalliance within this unit: you will have your regular patrols memorized by tomorrow, and you will arrive on time for each and every scheduled group exercise. We expect much from you, and you will make good on those expectations".
Exhaling softly, the Major's expression achieved a neutral posture once more, before concluding, "Lieutenant Brith will show you to your quarters, I suggest you all get some rest while you can". With that, Thaltizon saluted his green company, then the Lieutenant, and turned about back the way he came. The stormtrooper duo followed soon after, leaving Lieutenant Brith to handle the more menial administrative tasks. She wasted no time in doing so, calling out each of the arrivals name and id code. Zuno and Trassek were assigned to the same barrack cluster, along with two fellow passengers from their shuttle: one Lio Krelain from Balmorra, and Fi Modis from Abhean. "This way", the Lieutenant calmly announced, leading the procession toward an access lift parallel where the Major had dissapeared, "Let's get you settled".

Re: Unusual cadets (Doren)
The ride had been uncomfortable but the destination was magnificent. The Star Destroyer’s hanger was buzzing with activity, the sight of so many Imperial uniforms running about their duties made Zuno smile, he was finally a part of the greatest war machine in the galaxy. He stood at attention in line with the rest of the new recruits to the Reverent, his yellow eyes trying to follow every moving element of the hanger. He finally stopped and glanced down the line of recruits, his mind thinking about how one day he may be their commanding officer.
His attention changed as the Major and lieutenant approached flanked by two Stormtroopers. Once again the Falleen was filled with pride and the hope of one day wearing the white armor and ascending to the rank of Stormtrooper Commander. He pulled himself from his thoughts as the Major introduced himself and gave his expectations, Zuno fully planned on exceeding those expectations.
As the Major walked away Recruit Drallac fell in step with everyone else as they followed the Lieutenant. It was good for him to see another non-human who’d achieved a position of rank, it meant he potentially had a higher chance here of moving up.
The Falleen dropped his duffel bag on the bunk they were shown to and turned to face the Lieutenant waiting for her to give them their official assignments.

Most the recruits had been dispersed or distributed long before the Lieutenant arrived at the common area that would serve as the new home for the four fresh recruits. Plastweave cots were arrayed along two parallel walls near the front of the chamber, whereas closets and storage lockers were situated near the back of the compact cell. The newcomer's dataslates would have all the information they needed to map out the rest of the infantry quarters, including the rec rooms and refresher halls. Likewise, the upcoming soldiers would be made equally aware of their assigned sleeping stations and locker combination codes. For the sake of social congruence, Zuno and Trassek were to be bunk mates, though their new comrades would only lie but a few feet away.
In the end, the only matter that still eluded the former cadets was the nature of their patrol postings aboard the Reverent. While most naval vessels had their own marine reserves to handle internal security and military decorum, active fleets such as the Third were happy to share the load with whatever army contingents they were transporting at the time. "Krelain, Modis, you'll report to the stern turbolaser control chambers at oh-five hundred", Brith crisply announced, and paused. A knowing smile blossomed on the Lieutenant's face for a moment, before she concluded, "Drallac, Veilser, we'll be expecting you in the bridge access hallway and surrounding conference rooms at oh-seven hundred: don't be late gentlemen".
With that, the Balosar offered a polite salute, and disappeared down the corridor to fulfill her yet-unfinished tasks. Now alone for the first time since their arrival, the emissaries of the Imperial Army were left to unpack whatever meager belongings they had brought with them. Furthermore, a venue for private discussion had at last been achieved, and the fiery, sharp-voiced Fi Modis was quick to speak first, "You two must've made some show of the practice bots back at the academy". "No kidding", Lio dryly cut in, "They might as well have invited you to tea in Operations". "Who says they won't?", Fi gruffly teased, "You two have some sort of trick they didn't teach us? Or maybe those scales of your can block lasers huh?".
