Lost in thoughts
A young boy was running in the prairie, a river was close to him as he could hear the water running alongside the road, some tiny rocks were giving the impression of some waves, he could see at the end of his sight the lake, wide meadows of grass and wildflowers sat among several waterfalls and lakes that completed the scene, the boy heard a name "Praetor... Praetor stop... stop there Praetor." and he turned his head when he saw a girl, resembling his own age, maybe more, maybe less, her voice was like a melody in his ears, he smiled at her, but she was worried, he noted that she was like in danger.
"Yes Neila, what happen, we were suppose to reach the lake's shore." he answered while he was turning his back and watching as his friend was running towards him.
Just minutes elapsed but he felt it was like a thousand years, she arrived at his location and forced him to lay in the side of the road, she stopped near a big rock and hid behind it, putting a finger in her lips and with her free arm pointed to the small village, columns of fire and smoke were rising from there, the boy was for a moment frozen, but then a fire was burning inside his heart, he could feel his anger while he was watching the scene, "Calm down Praetus, they will kill you as they killed everybody, I barely escaped. We need to go to Theed, my family will help us."
"And what about mine, my father, my mother, my little sister?" He insisted to return to the village.
"They are dead, Praetus, they were the first family to resist the occupation, and now they are dead."
"But my sister, she was only five."
"She was killed as an example to others that they were meaning business..." He wanted to run back, his family was the only thing he had, but she was strong enought to stop him, "...Five minutes before the attack your father gave me this, he was feeling something and told me to deliver this to you in case he couldn't be alive at the end of the day, he told me you were coming here as you normaly do every Benduday."
***
Kieran opened his eyes, he was in a white room, tied in a bed with several cables and tubes around his body, two guards were stationed near the door and a assistand droid was inspecting the condition of the patient. With a buzzing sound the assistant asked "How do you feel young man?" Kieran couldn't talk, he was trying but he was unable to do so, he just turned his head around slowly, a pain came as he did, but it wasn't enough to let him see he was at a hospital, the room was very clean, all painted in a clean white, inside there were only one bed, and appart of the medical stuff there were nothing else, two guards were standing still, he couldn't distinguish what was their alliegance because his eyes were seeing blurred at the distance, none of them moved a muscle. The droid repeated "How do you feel young man?". He couldn't answer.
***
"Praetus, come sweetheart, we are going to the market." The girl was now a grown up teenager, she had became one of the most beautiful girls of the city, even she won a contest and was called Miss Theed. She was very kind to him, it was like a sister to him, he loved her, he felt an attachment, but she was just trying to be lovely with him.
"Neila, why you keep calling me Praetus, when you know my real name is Kieran?"
"Shhhh, Praetus, you will be my Praetus, whatever you are being called."
***
"What's your name, and what is your business in Imperial Center?" asked a guard.
"I don't know." answered Kieran.
"What's your name, and what is your business in Imperial Center?" was again the question, this time with a punch on the table.
Kieran was answering again "I don't know."
The guard walked down, Kieran could notice that two stormtroopers were near with their E-11 aimed at him, with a wave of the hand the interrogator made them to lower their guns. He said to the holographic proyection of his hand proyector "He is claiming loss of memory, he doesn't remember anything. What we can do with him. Mylord?"
A hooded man answered "Use the droids, if by any reason he doesn't give us a name, just dump him."
***
"Hey Kieran... you are Kieran Sontebren, son of Letwr Sontebren, and heir to this... this piece of rock... ja... ja... ja... Your father was a liar, a thief, your mother... what to say of that lovely rat of garbage, she pretended to scam me, ME, the King of Scams, and your adorable sister... yes, that adorable creature, bite me. Yes Kieran, I had to make an example of them. Your father took something from my wharehouse, something I cared with my life, and I had to take his life. I see he gave it to you, you can keep it, as you have paid with triple price than I did, but... but never, ever again try to come here, because the firt step you give you will regret for the rest of your short existence. Now... take that scum out of my life."
***
"My name is Kieran, Kieran Sontebren, that's all I remember. I don't remember why I'm here, how I came here, it's the first time I do recall coming to this planet."
"You were found near the Imperial Palace, in the area of an explosion, ten soldiers lost their life, one hundred civilians were hurt, including children that were coming from a trip, and you had traces of the bomb in your body. Several scans and security cameras showed you arriving to the place with a box. So tell me Mr. Sontebren, what was your business here at Imperial Center." The interrogator was angry, he didn't tell Kieran, but one of the dead was his younger brother. The interrogator was pressing him, and even his superiors knowing the conection of him with one of he victims, let him to carry out the investigation.
"I don't know." It was the tenth time he answered the same, the droids weren't able to get any other answer, as the doctors said the trauma he received could had damaged his cerebral cortex, more the part that was tied with the memory banks in the human brain, he could start remembering things, but those of his long-term memory, his short-term memory was now repaired with the treatment, but whatever was there was gone. The interrogator, knowing that without further proof that could incriminate him with the bombing near the palace, any decent lawyer could set him free in a matter of days. With that report his superiors congratulated him saying that even in the case of his loss he was able to perform at the highest level of veracity, as he was the most trusted agent of the planet.
Kieran was let free, but with a ban to visit any imperial space in ten years, he was given transport to any planet of his choice outside the Imperial space, as he couldn't remember where he came, and more important where to go. He was driven to the nearest starport and he was waiting to board what would let him in another place, would Kieran remember what he was, why he came to this place, and what is his purpose in his life, what he could remember was just that dream, losing his parents, and the face of the man who did it. Among the people he had the feeling somebody was watching him at the distance, it was a vage warning, like something telling him to stay alert, what was happening with him, is like something was telling him to be awake, like somebody would came and change his life.
"Yes Neila, what happen, we were suppose to reach the lake's shore." he answered while he was turning his back and watching as his friend was running towards him.

Re: Lost in thoughts
It was a strange thing how karma worked. It was also a strange ordeal how it occasionally slipped up. But even sweeter yet, was the repayment it gave you.
Lord Blood, or most business partners knew him as "Mr. X" through his years of both legal and illegal trafficking of exotic pets and bounty hunting in his former life. Though Slade was a quiet soul in his majestic body, he still resided, and it was still beneficial when it came to business affairs. Which, despite his Master's commandment, he continued to dabble in. Though Sith took by force, that very force needed credits to run on, and he had his own desires as well in the faction.
His day would come, just as it would his ruin.
The Hunter walked through the terminal with lack of intent, though his own purpose was a slight one. In fact, he was there specifically looking for an old companion of his, Kyr, Zabrak with wicked scarlet and devilish black tattoos to contrast on his heated, blood hued skin. A scar of burnt flesh was his iconic callsign, along with a assize most would think twice on bothering. However, the think about that very man, was you shouldn't have to look for him. A hunter knew well enough when they were being hunted; if the Zabrak felt his search, he would hunt the hunter before he was spotted. If not, their little game of cat and mouse was pointless.
Blood stood in bland clothing, already looking as ordinary as a usual pedestrian, though Force sensitives would more than likely pick up on his dangerous scent in the Force. Plain clothes hung on him, bland brown slacks and a neutral gray tshirt with a basic sporting pistol at his hip. The pistol however was just for show, as under a brown bantha leather jacket, his twin sabers hung underneath his forearms, attached by a mechanical holster grip on both arms. invisible and reduced bulk, they hid from sight of the passerbys until he would call on their decimatory powers if needed.
His long black locks were tied in a neat braid, and clipped up under a brown leather cap, taking more from his usual appearance and making him even less threatening. His stance was casual, but a hungry predator knew the scent of the weak. And one in particular caught his nares. already in line to board another cargo ship, this one heading further to his own sect of space, if not the opposite direction near Wild Space, Blood knew he had to make his move and fast.
The Wolf began his hunt.
Forward and around the other souls of the bustling port, he weaved expertly through the crowd. No one and nothing touch him, as his intuition kept him at bay as he positioned himself just behind the man known as Kieran. Within the proximity of the man, he could almost smell the forlorn in this man, and as a Lord in his own right, he knew enough of what a lost sheep appeared to be in the pastures of the Force. It was a lonely perfume, a cologne of forsaken and forgotten existence that was chaotic and unharnessed. It was unstable, and dependent, no rigid direction to turn. Malleable...useful.
The game was on.
"Hey, you new here?" he began comfortably as they boarded the taxiship. The handsome golden-eyed man offered him a slight and reassuring smile, just a brief one, before waiting for a response from the slightly dazed looking man.

Re: Lost in thoughts
At least at the starport he was feeling fine, the interrogator voice was still in his mind, Stormtroopers and normal security officers were patrolling the place, sometimes they approached someone to ask for his or her ID, but it was normal in that kind of place, moreover in the Galactic Empire territory. But what was important to Kieran is that his memory was starting to fill the gaps he had. He started to remember things priors to what he was doing in this planet, that his name was Kieran Sontebren, that he was born in Naboo, that he had a friend or lover called Neila, somebody killed his parents and siblings, and what he wanted was to be now in front of that scum and kill him in cold blood. The anger was growing inside him, hatred feelings because he was unable to defend his family, like something was impulsing him to finish that open business.
He noticed, or at least something was warning him that somebody was watching over his shoulder, Kieran slowly moved the head toward what the feeling pointed and there was a man with bland brown slacks and a neutral gray shirt with a basic sporting pistol at his hip, he had long black locks were tied in a neat braid, and clipped up under a brown leather cap, that man was like following him, or at least that was what Kieran was thinking about, but other things came to his mind, a lot of people, he could be also just another passenger. From the speakers was announcing his flight βPassengers of Flight ID 313A43B please go to platform AB45... Passengers of Flight ID 313A43B please go to platform AB52, this is the last call.β Kieran checked again his passage, it was his flight, he went to the mentioned platform and there were an old YT-2000, one of those corellian ships, he then started to board the ship and the man that he thought was following him came from behind, while the crew was prepping the flight and giving the last recommendations the man said to him "Hey, you new here?"
Kieran, a 5β11β male from Naboo, with dark blond hair and dark blue-green eyes, with a common outfit, as was given to him after spending two years in comma, he was told that his clothes were dumped by an error, he was just given a compensation clothes and a bond of one thousand credits*, answered βNot so new, but Iβm leaving this planet for good... what can I say for you?β

Re: Lost in thoughts
No surprise, no hint of detection, no wariness. All was going swell in the Sith's playing field, and his chances were unburdened. If he kept his card hand right, he might win this.
"Ah, same here. There's nothing for me, here; not of much a fan of the way Imperials treat their guests. Tried to order a drink in one of the cantinas at the terminal, and the raunchy bartender told me I look 'too suspicious' to serve. Get a load of that." Shaking his head as if disgusted with the whole situation that never even existed, Blood shrugged his shoulders. "Gonna go where I know hospitality is. Wonderful food, luxurious bed, and spend my time worthwhiley."
Turning to the handsome stud of a man, Blood inquired curiously. "Where's your next stop, man?"
If he could land this ball in his pit, he would have something worth cherishing. The Lord had to be consistent, focused. The thing about words was misinterpretation would be excruciating as a loss, and it was near impossible to come back from. Especially with a stranger. However, preying on weakness was where the victory came from, and if this man truly felt as Blood thought he initially did from the read he gave, it was crucial he kept close to it.

No surpises for Kieran too, if he remembered what happened and why he was there he would pity him, but as far as memory, he only remember that he awaked in the middle of a hospital room, and he was kept guarded by several soldiers, none of them talked to him, just the interrogator when the doctor gave the order that my body was physically recovered, Kieran could grasp part of the conversation between the attendants and the main doctor, that he was lucky as the blast of the explotion didn't affect him directly, some debris were in his body but the bacta treatment allowed the heal without any severe scar, just a small one in his back, but it would disappear with time as the tisue would repair good.
"Gonna go where I know hospitality is. Wonderful food, luxurious bed, and spend my time worthwhiley.", that was a good place to go, as Kieran didn't have anything in mind, nor he could return to his home planet, he didn't remember also where he came from prior to be in this planet, just that someone gave him a small envelope with his universal ID, he said that he coudn't open it in imperial space, adding some sort of mystery. "Where's your next stop, man?", Kieran was inmerse in his thoughts, that man was too friendly, like he was trying some sort of recruiting or just being amicable, whatever was his intention a flame in his interior was telling him to trust that man, or at least follow him.
"Name's Slade, by the way. What's yours?", yeah, Kieran was unpolite by this time, he thought it was his time to bid something, was the time to turn the ball to his own place and get something to his advantage, without money, a place to sleep, he had to do something and maybe that man was trying to offer something, Kieran needed to stay as calm as possible and not try to be impetuous or that he was in need.
"Name's Kieran, and like you I want to go to a better place now, just that I haven't set my mind where to go. Can you give me some advice, as I can see you are an expert of traveling and luxury."
He expected to turn the tide, but also he didn't want to let him know that was the only card he was playing, as no one else was trying to approach him by this time. "Please sit in your seat and fasten your seat belts. After enter the hyperspace travel you will be able to wander in the dinning room or go to your assigned quarter."

"Name's Kieran, and like you I want to go to a better place now, just that I haven't set my mind where to go. Can you give me some advice, as I can see you are an expert of traveling and luxury."
That's the spirit.
Blood nodded at the name mention and the rest that followed suit, his mind already whirling another tide of webs to weave. Not necessarily lies, but a sticky enough tale that wouldn't let you leave. "Well, I'm currently heading back to Sojourn, ya know, the old 'Hunter's Moon'? Last anyone's heard, it was brought to ugly knees by that nuclear attack so many years back, but ironically enough, it's been rehabilitated. Good stuff on that moon, now. A resort, food you don't have to hunt for, well unless you want to, and a spell of beauty in flora and fauna all around the place."
Clipping his belt snugly against his left hip into the snag, he settled back into the seat he chose that had an empty seat next to it.. He rose his hands to his head, removing the cap and ran a hand over his clipped up hair. He was ready to take it down, but he would wait until they hit Wild Space for such. Turning to Kieran as he was now introduced, he properly responded, "Pleasure to meet you, Kieran. That is an interesting name, by the way."
That's the spirit.

Re: Lost in thoughts
Kieran's thoughts travelled like the windy stars in the hyperspace lane they were seeing from the small window of the ship, it was going to be a new adventure for him, a way to start again, to look for what reason he was there, and why, and mostly, to regain what was important to him. So it would be Sojourn, he hadn't heard a lot of that planet, and as he had an open ticket, and that person was the only one who openly invited him, he accepted the invitation. If only he could find his old self, maybe he would do it there. Something was telling him to go there. A call, it was subtle, but he started to feel good, his last thoughts of his family being slauthered by criminals doesn't bother too much for him, was the aftermatch, he felt stronger by that time, as if he was feeding in the hattred caused for the man who killed his parents and sister. He wanted vengeance, yes, but instead of being sad, he was sabouring it, preparing himself to make someone suffer. It was dark, and he was like it was his own terrain.
Then something came when he closed his eyes, for a reason he was picturing where everyone in the ship was, even the exact moment they were moving, was a small revelation, he was starting to regain his old self, but still there were a lapse that was erased, maybe the Imperials did it, he read or was told they used torture to gain intel from their enemies, and the last time he remember he was interrogated a lot about an incident he hadn't a clue, at least, maybe the time would tell him what happened.
"Thanks for the invitation, but I don't have money, I think, I can't buy anything, and need to get a job, and a place, my head still hurts, and the last bit of memory is in blank, I don't know why I was here, and the imps dumped me, they don't want to see me around."

Re: Lost in thoughts
"Psh, screw those guys," his smooth baritones interjected with a confidence he filled with a strong smirk. "If they dumped you, then there's no contest! I know you'll be welcomed at Sojourn; I can feel it." In fact, he wasn't lying that time. He could indeed feel Kieran's welcome to the moon- he would allow it. It was a moon he owned, after all. But Kieran didn't need to know that bit. Atleast not until he had him safe in his clutches...
"I can actually guarantee you won't have to pay a single credit, there. You'll see, man."
Time passed before the cargoship began to slow and buffer out a deep pull from hyperspace, delving into unmarked station's landing region. The cargo ship crossed lines within the hangar that signaled their landing, and the alarms beeped a couple of times to signal the end of the ride. Humanoids stood up all around them, preparing their own departure. Blood too stood up, stretching and working out any kinks in his body. Looking down at Kieran, he gave another lead to the path they were meant to take.
"Alright, my taxiship is waiting for us. Ready?" he asked as he began to move out of the seating aisle.
Moving through the crowd with uncanny ease, Blood slithered out to an unmarked ship, the serial model and number suggesting a more tech kind of ship. It wasn't meant for assault or defending anything- it was merely for transport. As he arrived, he shook the hand of the Rodian that was to pilot the vessel and they both walked aboard the docked ramp of the ship. Once they were all boarded, the ramp began to close and the pressure began to automatically meet stabilization.
"Sojourn, yes?" the pilot called from the cockpit.
"Aye," Blood confirmed as they began to takeoff. It was simple, easy, and already in motion. No turning back, now.

Re: Lost in thoughts
So Sojourn was, he had none information about that planet or moon, but whatever it was it didnβt matter, he was going to a new place, a new start. Like a magnet was attracting him to that place, to that man, a feeling that it wasnβt the first time it flowed through his body, like a call. Kieran went to a corner and sat there, closing his eyes he saw again the memories, what happened with his family, the happiest moment of his life together with Neila, and it were becoming more intense, he felt it like an ocean when it was flowing back to the river, an immense wave of destruction after a quake, the expansive effect of a bombβ¦ it was, a bomb, he was a the capital of an imperial system, he was remembering, the task was to kidnap or kill the governor to gain access of the system for his group. He was just a student by that time, he couldnβt remember the name of the master, nor his teacher, but he remembered she was cold, never saw him to the eyes, and always was carryingβ¦ Kieran opened the eyes, he was sweating, and he was sure by now, it was a kind of revelation, and one that he must kept by himself, as he didnβt know the real intention of his host.
Kieran closed again his eyes, this time he was back at the starport, he remembered closing the eyes and feeling everyone, persons as they leave, persons as they arrive, either in ships, or by the different doors, also he felt animals, every living thing as if they were connected in a flux, sending waves through a net, and he was one of the receivers of that energy, it was a signature of life, and he knew if they were moving or stationed. Then he understood, he could command the Force, yet he was just a learner, he definitely needed someone who can teach him more, he felt the necessity to become stronger, to bring justice to the galaxy, the criminals must pay, with their lives, eye by eye was Kieranβs resolution, but first he needed to find where were his master, what happened in those two years he was absent. A light started to burn in his inside, a passion, a hatred passion, fueled him and he wanted to channel that, but he didnβt know how. Where were his group, where were The Sith?
βIβll be with you Mr. Slade, but not for long, I need to find my path in this galaxy as soon as I can repay your gratitude towards me.β It was done, as soon as he could go on journey to find the Sith, as he wanted to learn more.

Re: Lost in thoughts
[ooc: to speed the process up a bit, don't mind the pace. :3 ]
A single trip was all it took for the taxi to launch through the pull of hyperspace and appeared with a confident grace outside of the orbit of Sojourn. Unceremoniously, the taxi ship pulled into the now cloud-filled atmosphere of the moon the ship glistening with the impending wet that these rainclouds were filed with. Much to his appreciation, the pilot pulled down speedily and with experience. The landing gear was brought out, and the roar of thunder overhead confirmed the weather increment.
The ramp rolled forth, and Blood stood and hastily paid the Rodian with a heft sum of creds for tip, and hit the release charge. The ramp extended, and up rolled the release of air pressure and the shut door. Before them was a paradise; vibrant greens of plants, trimmed pastures and delicate flowers spanned forth in an array of lush wildlife. The difference between this and a regular expanse of viridian life was that this man owned it all. Indeed, Blood oversaw and created the arrival of each morsel of life on this Eden-like moon. Resorts lay behind a classy and well-crafted building, a modest height with pristine architecture built into it's cream and dark mahogany trim of stone and expensive tile.
With haste, Blood walked down the ramp and upon the ceramic and stone laid pathway, his gait leading him directly to the resort's registration office. Above, the sky creased with lightning, the streaks of volatile electricity throwing a hue of gorgeous whites in the greyed sky. Passing the iron gate and glass door, the whimsical curtains blew with the might of the storms winds, and Blood stood before the cheery Omwati, Fiona. "Checking another in today, Mr. X?"
"I am. Check his comfortability and ensure it matched his tastes in Suite #3."
With a graceful nod, the light sky-skinned alien pulled her compliance from around the desk with a ring of melodious tones. "Right away, sir. Liona and Diona will see to his parch and hunger."
As prompted, two other matching Omwatis filed from the hallway of the reception building, Liona carrying a bowl of various berries and other exotic fruits, while Diona held a platter of delicious drinks, each accented with swirls of galaxia glitter and pearlescent colors. Both held out their contents to the following Kieran, as Fiona herself offered to take his baggage. Passed the trio, Fiona made her way to backway glassed and curtained door, opening the slidable doors, and wlaked onto another tiled pathway. On the third branch, she walked up to a massive mini-mansion sized building; the third matching building of the 6 erected. Just as the resort was, it was matching in color and complexity, regal building measure givving it a refined and worthy look despite matching the other buildings near it.
Opening the real-wood door with a swish of keycard across the locking mechanic, she handed the card to Kieran as she sat his belongings on the lavish felt couch. The design of the inside held an also tasteful appeal, comfortable and not lacking expression. Airy and relaxing. The decor itself was not cutting from any walking room, and clearly there was plenty of space, there being an upstairs and a balcony to which to sate royalistic tastes.
"Your fridge and cabinents are stocked with food items and drinks, sir. Is there anything you might need?"
