"Look at it this way:" Rhoden said, "If you're the one who set up this rather annoying trap--we found whatever that probe was, by the way--you die knowing I go with you." he smiled beneath his helmet as though this was, indeed, a happy thought. Dot beeped from his back, "And my droid too, of course."

They had began running, and Rhoden could hear through his helmet's audio receivers, their pursuit. He heard, also, a swelling hiss. "Blast!" he said. There was a rumbling boom as the fuel cells of his fighter ruptured and exploded. "This tunnel wouldn't happen to be airtight..." Rhoden began only to feel the air rush past him, "Damn."

A thought occurred to him as the tunnel emptied of air, which meant too that it was likely to continue much further--or had been closed off. "Uh, your ship is disguised right? They're not going to walk out and have an easy target, right?" he said, "Tell me you thought this through."

Neive looked at the ship before running the other way with the imperial, one of the tunnels open as he and the imperial entered soon before it was sealed off. Neive looked back as the door behind them sealed before he sighed, slowing his pace a bit as although they were trapped, for a decent part, they were away from the 2 pursuers. At least for the moment…

Neive was soon annoyed by the questions asked by the imperial.

"These are sith. There is no thinking things through with them. My nav computer must have been outdated, I could have sworn that it had this place down as alliance space…” Neive rubbed his forehead as he heard the rumbling, knowing already the reason for the explosion.

Neive thought for a moment, sensing a growing presence… a large group of soldiers, although they weren’t trained sith soldiers, nor were they any formed army… it was a militia, most likely of the enslaved Verpines. and with no ship to escape with, Neive needed a backup plan.
"Well, there are plenty of sith vessels, and I know the Alliance's channel, so we can still get a signal out." Neive thought, looking at the rock tunneling in front of them.
Neive walked to the intersection of 3 tunnel ways, feeling a rumble from the right. The sith were trying to seal them in, Neive thought before turning left and following the tunnel way.
“This way. I noticed several hangars when I arrived, so we should be able to find one without significant resistance. Plus, this area is closer to the asteroid interior, so there’s less of a chance it’ll be sealed due to the fire from outside.”

Neive paused as the tunnels shook, an outside interference bombarding the rock.
“We need to hurry.” Neive looked up and picked up his pace while making sure the imperial stayed close to him.

Neive kept his metal saber handle in hand as he walked, looking at the rock that surrounded them with the occasional electric light for those going through the tunnels that needed it.

Neive looked in front of them at a blast door, sealed off before hearing the girl speak.

“…They’re built to withstand mine fires… wouldn’t want you to break your weapons. You’ll be needing them…”

Neive shook his head and looked at his handle, before sighing.

“In my experience, imperial, I’ve found it best to fight fire with fire. If someone commits an act against you, it gives you the right to act back on them with the same force. If they use a method that many don’t like, but it’s effective… sometimes you must use the same method in order to match their power.”

Neive ignited his saber, the fiery red blade shooting out as Neive donned his helmet again.

“And if these enemies use the dark side of the force to their advantage… I say, so should we.”

Neive jammed the blade of the saber through the door, the plasma burning through the door. The doors were built for mine fires… but not for lightsabers.

Slowly, Neive pushed the blade down, the metal being eaten away by his lightsaber’s blade. He moved it in a large, circular motion, the door slowly but surely giving them passage, the hole soon big enough for them to pass through as he approached his point of entry with his blade once more.

His mind reached out to feel the location of all of his pawns in this game of chess. The webs strands were emitting those frequencies he had directly tied to his own web's heart, and he could feel the entirety of radius where each of his packmates resided. Rahab was on his heels, Raphael was on the other side of the tunnel's end, and Warvanus was still in the skies, while Kressara was higher than ground in the watchtower's command center. He had to move them all to cover all ends of this hunt so Neive and his little pet had nowhere left to turn. Clicking a clawed gauntlet's finger to his earpiece, he threw his baritones into the mic.

"Silver, you're nearest the prey; coil your view around your vicinity and stall them till we get there if there's any ships nearby that are capable of working, or power towers, venomize them and ensure they no longer can. Kressara, you can choose between providing a pair of omniscient eyes for him in case they somehow manage something stupidly sly. Otherwise, cut down all tower's signals, and raise EMP shields around this rock. After such is done, fly down here, and assist Raphael should we not make it in time, unless you choose to remain his Eye. Nothing leaves or comes in. And War, remain in the skies, and should any ship attempt departure that isn't harboring us, immediately engulf it in hellfire."

Blood flung himself through the halls, clinging to the scent of the two whelps who were attempting to elude them. He and Rahab needed to catch up to these guys, and quick. "You and I will get a limb each for this, Rahab," he murmured, all too thrilled with the idea of finally being able to finally put Neive's soul in the grasp of the Void for good.

Raphael looked around at the surrounding militia in the hangar as they stood looking for confirmation from him. His father had issued more orders it seemed to blow all evacuation plans, giving the two hostiles no way out. Silver eyes looked over the Verpine militia as his Sith Warbot stood next to him.

“You heard the man, let there be no way out,” he declared to them.

A group of the militia moved to different hangars to destroy every exit plan, minus his own Headhunter that could only seat one. They headed the orders and blew the ships and towers as they had done with the Alliance vessel as well. Although it would provide no exit for them as well, it seemed their leader had left them with no option but to fight the two.

Raphael then moved through the hangar to try and head off the enemy as they moved through the tunnels. With the aid of Kressara in the control room, he found the area relatively quickly as he could see a blade attempting to cut through the blast doors. He had hoped it was that of the enemy, as he couldn’t tell due to the crimson color.

His Sith Warbot and a group of the Verpine Militia stood on the other side of the door waiting for them to bust through. Raphael had hoped his father was quickly behind as he didn’t want to have to deal with a fool and his lackey all alone. Still they waited, as they all pointed guns directly at the door.

“Crow, keep an eye out for me on this situation. I need to know what is coming towards me,” he stated through his comm link.

Warvanus made another pass on the tunnels, unleashing blaster fire from the blaster cannons on his starfighter. After the pass he brought the starfighter up and around as if he was going to make another pass. His instruments and readings were all within normal parameters.
The comm cracked to life “

War, remain in the skies, and should any ship attempt departure that isn't harboring us, immediately engulf it in hellfire."

He pressed the send button and spoke “Consider it done” was all her said

He brought his starfighter up and began to patrol the area, keeping a keen eye on his radar for any possible would be fools who would dare try to escape.

At the very least, Roche, with its unappealing landscape and lack of interesting things for civil beings to do, wasn’t a planet too miserable to run on. Its unkind terrain had traction. And its boring surface had ground for treads to grip. It had an uninterrupted sky and air that was not oppressively heavy nor impossibly light in a way that it would have hindered their movements.

Even so, Rahab had threatened to fall behind Lord Blood’s determined gait. She had to scrambled to gain purchase on land he easily bounded over. By the time their chase had drawn near enough to the close that more persuasion movement were needed to pounce, her legs and lungs were burning from the exertion.

She took him issuing commands to the others as a chance for her catch her breath. Rahab shot him a look from behind his back, blaming him for her strained state (and not on the fact that she should work on cardio more often and that smoking was an ill-favored vice among soldiers). With the exception of she and the Lord, they had all been scattered to different points. This seemed practical to her and this delegation of tasks seemed to be more effective than her following after Lord Blood. She followed his lead through the halls.

“My Lord,” She whispered, though there wasn’t much a need for her too. It rendered her soft voice nearly inaudible, “As much as it mortifies me to take the wind out of your, uh,” She gave him a once over look, she was close enough to him that she could have laid her head upon his back or brushed a hand against his. Rahab had done the latter, “Wings, I have but a knife upon my person.”

She brought the hand that she had, ever so casually, brushed against the back of Lord Blood's gauntlet up to her chest and slipped it under the lightweight combat armor that hung slightly off her frame. Her fingers deftly found the handle of the knife from within the pocket she had sewn. Rahab didn't pull the knife out of its hiding place, but was ready to. If she had to, which she rather hoped that she wouldn't.
All day I think about it, then at night I say it.
Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing?
I have no idea.
My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that,
And I intend to end up there.

“As you will it, Lord Blood!” Kressara responded to her comlink confidently and got to work bringing his commands into fruition. A simple input of codes shut down the transmissions from all towers in the facility and after some searching for the proper buttons an EMP shield was raised to defend from any atmospheric attacks. Another transmission on her comlink rang out. It was Raphael requesting for a set of eyes on the other side of that door. Kressara glanced at the monitor to see their little rodent issue worsening. Now they were tearing up doors? Oh, such a pesky ordeal this was becoming. Crow answered aggressively, “He’s an enemy, Silver! Gun him down!”

The sith stood from her seat by the panel and whisked herself to the door, unlocking it with a passcode before reaching for something outside.

“Ma-!?” The guard who’d taken watch beyond the door after she dismissed the last one yelped in surprised as a gloved hand latched around the back of his collar. Kressara yanked him inside, the door shutting behind them. Moments later she emerged with an urgency, leaving behind a very obedient and shell shocked man in the control room. Before leaving she locked him inside and set more guards to watch the door, contacting Raphael once more.

“I have a man under my remote orders in the control room now. I’m heading your way.”

Why not control the facility from afar and provide some much needed backup for her fellow sith? Fleet footed and aided by her new friend at the central control panel, the crow made excellent time through the lesser used halls of the interior. Soon the advanced look of the corridors became more and more fortified the lower she wandered into the facility and the hissing of a light weapon burning through dense metal guided her to where her brethren waited. She was nearby now, only a short sprint away from standing at his side. She kept her hand on the pommel of her vibrosword, teeth grit as she stalked after their intruder with a dark purpose.
There is a place that hurts the most, but will I go there? I cannot climb, it's far below. I have to fall there.

Just another anarchist sith assassin wishing she'd grown crops instead.

Neive took a moment as he finished the hole, the hunk of metal in front of them barely keeping balanced in the hole made around it. Neive could feel the large presence from behind the door, and contemplated their options next(life sense)

"If you have any spark grenades or EMP's, get them now. there's a group of armed verpine, a droid, assumed to be combat-oriented, and 2 humanoids behind the door."

Neive looked back, sensing the two pursuers as they approached.

"Two more behind us. We'll have to move forward."

as the explosions of the various ships on the hangars both near them and the smaller sounds made from those farther away, a growing desperation by the sith for their capture was showing. But all was not lost.

"We have one more chance to escape, I believe..."
Neive looked at the man, thinking.

"The communication building. They should have long-range communications there if we manage to make it. Send a signal to our allies and hold out until help arrives."

Neive thought for a second.

"without any vessels, that would probably be our last chance at escaping." Neive looked at him and awaited his preperation before Neive rammed the metal with his shoulder, bringing his saber up to defend before rhoden's grenade would go off.

Rhoden unclipped two devices from his belt. The first arced through the hole, it was the ion grenade. The second followed close behind, an older but no less lethal fragmentation grenade, it held within it some nasty pieces of shrapnel. Rhoden saved his more elaborate devices for later--he had a sneaking suspicion they'd be needed.

"Call in our friends and catch the Sith with their pants down?" he smiled, "Even if we die I'd like to go knowing the Hydra'll come pound this place to dust." he said, wondering if it would really be the most productive use of resources to pound on the Sith for one man's sake.

Blood turned to Rahab after he had found himself hearing the soft dulcet tones of her modest voice. As he did, he found he undeniably close to him, so close he could the heat from her panting in his face. Looking down at her, he reached out and took the hand of hers which held the hidden knife. Clawed and armored hands held an extreme contrast to her own. Examining the vibroknife, Blood took a second before he responded to the inadequately prepared initiate of his.

"Then we will save the tender pieces for you."

Turning from the robed woman, he continued forward as he heard button clicks in the next hall over. Releasing Rahab's hand, Blood returned back to the topic at hand, and marched forward. In the bleak void of the barely lit tunnels, the hiss of dual sabers' first breaths danced through the echo of the asteroids mining facility walls. It was almost disorienting to someone who didn't know where to turn, but the Sithian had the Force, and using it to track down the retreating pair was of no hard task. It didn't take long before he had made it to the opened door where it was clear some destruction had taken place. Machinery and computers, a data table, all lay strewn about, powered off, and struck by shrapnel. Golden irises glared unseeably through the abysmal eyesockets of his helmet as he and Rahab appeared through the threshold and behind the two scum.

Commanding baritones shot from the Dragon Master as he held his two sabers ready to cube these morsels.

"Neive..." Blood roared out with a sinister smile.

"Give me my story."
