What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
Alexander sat on the rusty clancker, a heavy freighter designed to carry a lot of cargo. And it was a good ship for when it was build. WHICH WAS 200 YEARS AGO !!!!!!!!!!
Alexander had to regain his balance as the ship once against shook, somehow he had a feeling that he had been a bit to eager to get off the planet and didn't take enough time to really look at what ship he had hired to transport him. He himself did not particularly care for where he would go. Whether it was in the core, the mid rim, the colonies or whatever even the outer rim so he had gone into the ship and paid the man to bring him wherever the cargo went as long as it wasn't too much of a scrap planet.
What he had not expected was for the man's galactic maps to be completely out of date and for the ship to have passed it's expiration date a few decades ago. But considering the alternative of what he would have faced on Corellia Alexander preferred the alternative option. At least he was alive which was much more beneficial than he had thought at first.
Alexander then grabbed a datapad from his pocket and began to read on it. Before he had left Corellia he had downloaded a few holo books onto it. Just for some entertainment for along the way and some knowledge that he could use. He had to admit that it was fascinating to read the historic accounts of the Thrawn campaign. The Chiss truly was the greatest military mind of his time, maybe even of his century or millennia.
It was truly fascinating how the man could have gotten to know so much about his enemies merely with their species art and culture. Furthermore, the man had managed to reform the empire after it was thought to have already fallen which was impressive to be sure. It was also not surprising that the man put another person as emperor. He did not seem like a person who wanted to dabble too much in the realms of politics.
Then when Alexander was in the middle of reading the holobook the ship shook once again but this time Alexander felt that it was more serious as if something had broken. Thus Alexander quickly went to the cockpit where the 55 year old human male pilot seemed to be panicking a little. Alexander let out a tired sigh and asked the man "What happened this time ?" To which the pilot responded in a slightly panicked voice. "The Hyperdrive. It has overheated and something broke" Alexander face-palmed at this.
Of course the Hyperdrive would overheat, it was too old a model and it needed periods of rest to make sure it did not overheat because of too much of extensive usage. He cursed himself for not noticing it himself. Thus Alexander calmly spoke, making sure not to panic himself. "Then we should turn off the hyperdrive and take times to make repairs."
Following his advice the pilot soon dropped out of hyperspace and Alexander went to the engine room where he grimaced as he saw the damage. It was quite bad and he was sure that this ship could not be used to go through hyperspace for long anymore. Merely about 5 or so small jumps before it would completely collapse. Alexander then rubbed his temples as he knew he had to get to a close-by point to get new parts. He could also not set up a general emergency call for help unless absolutely necessary. As the people who might come and pick them up could not have good intentions. A.k.a. pirates.
Thus Alexander got a map on his datapad and determined that the ship was closes to an outpost about 5 1/5th small hyperspace jumps away. He then briefly discussed the issue with the pilot and quickly came to an agreement to take this course of action. At the very least they could make sure that the call for aid would only be in a small radius so no pirates would pick them up if they were close to the station.
Following that 5 jumps were taken and as he expected after the 5th jump the hyperdrive broke down completely. It would now not work anymore and the ship was now practically floating his space. He had quite some good luck recently Alexander thought sarcastically.
He did not know in whose territory he was right now but that was not important for now, only making sure he did not die in the void of space due to oxygen deprivation or a lack of food and water. He then set up a short distance call for aid. Hoping that someone would hear them.
Alexander then leaned back in a chair and sighed out in frustration. At least this situation was not as bas as in Corellia and what could really go wrong ? He had had been in worse situations he could get out of this one.
And suddenly Alexander felt that he had offended the great god Murphy and that he would soon feel the repercussions.

Re: What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
The call of assistance reached ears, surely. However, this call hit the ears of a particular lurker, who kept watch of Sith Space almost exclusively omnipresent with her multiple lines of eyes set up in all corners of their space. Raven, or Katya as Blood occasionally called her on fonder moments, a miraluka hybrid who knew well how to remain as hidden as a preying shadow. In fact, that was exactly how she had earned her title as The Phantom within the ranks of the Lord's Cerberus triumvirate council. She was the ears and eyes of the territory, and always the newer appearances were found before her more than anyone else in the Sith. In her own Infiltrator, Raven was lurking just before the floating freighter, and with her was a squadron of her own Infiltrator associates. All hidden in their cloak, the silent ships were primed to assault, but Raven held them in check with nothing more than "Not yet."
Clicking on her ANON systems, she ensured her and everyone in her squad were hidden from both view and detection. Only then did she radio in her words to the coming freighter.
"Stall your engines and prepare for retrieval."
Mentally, Raven had already deducted plenty of things within this stuation. Whoever this was was either naive enough to not know they were deep with the territory of the universe's most feared villains, or they were looking to infiltrate. No one was capable of upsurping her in deception, and she was fully capable of discecting them, whoever they were, for the truth. She could peck every answer from the unlucky investigate immigrant, and would surely be positive of their intent, whether they liked it or not.
Awaiting their response whether it be by action or words, she paused all movement as the ancient ship continued to float through, and her squad kept on it like that of a wary conspiracy.

Alexander breathed out a sigh that let out his relief but also indicated his worry. At the very least he knew he wouldn't die in space due to oxygen deprivation and that these most likely weren't pirates but that still did not mean that he was in the safe. Whoever these people were could have malicious intent but for now he would need to follow their commands to make sure that he was not blasted to bits by any of these approaching ships or killed personally by whoever was piloting them.
As he stood in the cockpit of the ship, leaning over the communications bay he sent a piercing glare as the old man had a defiant look on his face and Alexander coldly said. "what are you trying to do ?" To which the old man nervously spoke "we can't listen to these people, we don't know who they are and they could steal my ship." After hearing this Alexander face-palmed at the sheer stupidity of the man, though it could also be desperation and/or stubbournes and spoke "Wheter or not they are hostile there is not much we can do. The ship has no weapons, shields only fit to stop a stray meteorite and the engines are not well equipped so we couldn't outrun whoever came. So the best thing to do is do what this person commands "
The old man squirmed for a few more moments before Alexander's cold gaze before he powered down the ship's engines. Alexander then spoke once more "If anyone comes onboard the ship stay here and let me do the talking. If they are hostile I can defend the ship better than you can and I am sure that I can act more reasonable than you" The old man looked offended at this and slowly started to say "Hey I may be old but I'm not du" Before Alexander interrupted "Maybe you are not but you are acting too emotionally because of your attachment to the ship and act without thinking clearly. So just let me take care of this." The man still fumed a little bit inside but slowly accepted that this could be the best course of action but he did not like it. "Alright then you do it" Alexander remained silent at this but his gaze was no longer on the man now but on the few sensors that the ship had and to see if any of these unknown ships were approaching them or going to board them.

Re: What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
Raven brought the boarding equipment to surface, and the Infiltrator connected the tube with the freighter's ramp. Proceeding forth with a couple of cloaked figures, she herself was nearly indistinguishable from any of the three other than the color of her cloak. As she was in a startling scarlet, the two flanking her were in a menacing maroon. Either way, she, in the middle, boarded the ship after the trio worked to open it via access code splicing, and pry the hunk of metal up with telekinetic prowess. Forward they floated, all 3 pairs of clothed feet never touching the ground of this ancient ship. It took nearly 3 minutes before they found the accurate way of reaching the only inhabitants on board. After a swift mental sweep, that was what they deducted; nothing else living was on board this mess.
"Come with us," Raven began, her hood-shadowed face imperceptable just as the stature of her floating frame was. In all reality, she was a petite woman, but with the extension of the immensely long cloak and robe, the Phantom looked terrifyingly tall. Staring down at the two men. She and the other 2 figures were hovering in place awaited ther compliance. There were no questions exchanged, but the only answer they expected was no less nor more than the two following them.

Alexander could not help and shiver a petite bit on the outside as he saw these menacing figures in front of him. Safe to say he had never seen anything this scary in his entire life yet, due to them somehow floating through the air and their menacing cloaks. Still whilst mentally Alexander was terrified of these things on the outside except the first shiver nothing could be seen as Alexander got control over his physical expressions.
As the crimson figure asked for him to follow Alexander simply complied, not talking unless any more questions were asked. The old man contrary to Alexander shivered a lot and said quietly and with terror in his voice. "What are you going to do to me ? " When he heard this Alexander did not show much physical movement except him continuing to move forward but mentally he was rolling his eyes at the question of the man as well as the physical signs of fearfulness he exuded by shivering and looking simply terrified. But all Raven could see from the man's face was a cold neutral look.

Raven was more or less relieved that the poker-faced individual had nothing major or pestering questions to fire at her or her crew. He came easily, no intent to fight back showing in form nor face, and just as they began their trek, the older man piped up. Much to her dismay.
But even as he asked questions, Raven said nothing, nor did her group. The older man would just have to wait, and see. Raven ultimately knew that before the 'Dark Lord' of current would be reached, she would have to go through his bodyguard, and Apprentice, Warvanus. She could recall herself meeting the "Bringer of War", but she had heard of him, whether it be from the mouths of the servants and workers that made up the gist of the service in the Sith, or whether it be from her employer, himself.
Royal amethyst irises scanned the path before them ensuring no traps were laid, but aboard the old freighter, there was nothing, and no one. Perfect. With such concluded business, they returned to the walk ramp, and reboarded their own personal vessels. Raven herself let the captives board with the other two, the old man being split up from his prior company and co-pilot Alexander, and being led into an alternate vessel. Alexander was sent with the other cloaked individual who came with Raven, and both Alexander and the older man had been bound, their wrists tied and latched to a metal beam within their respective Infiltrators. Disengaging from the wreck of a ship, Raven led her squad under new cloaking tech to the expanse of space where she knew the residing Warvanus would be near of. With barely concealed haste, she wisped a gray hand over the telecommunications buttons, and connected to the encrytped wavelength of Warvanus.
"We have 2 unknown and unintentional visitors from the edge of our territory. Where do you want them."

Warvanus sat in his Skipray 24R Blastboat, it was a gift from his Master, which he had dubbed βNovabaneβ Inside it could house a bit of a larger crew than the the GAT-13 series. His crew was small, He had one of his personal Warbots on board. And his crew contained the pilot , co pilot and a gunner. The pilot was the higher ranking officer, he held the rank of Captain.
Firestar was near the edge of Sith space, but not dangerously close. He had been studying the information he had gotten from his time in the unknown regions, the more he read about this Darth Desectivus, the more his curiosity was peeked. He was deep into study when one of the officers brought him out of his study.
βSorry for the interruption Masterβ the Co-pilot, a young Lieutenant said
He looked up from the screen and looked at the Lt. βWhat is it Ltβ the tone spoke to the Lt that this had better be important or the Sith Empire would be down one less co-pilot.
The Lt. Straightened his posture despite the fear that was already evident for being the one who had to address the Sith Warrior. βMaster, we are receieving a transmission, the encryption and signature is consistant with that of the Dark Lordβsβ
He peered into the Force, he knew it was not his Master contacting him personally. So it meant it was one of his agents. βRavenβ He had little dealings with the faithful servant of the Dark Lord. But if she was contacting him then it was something of importance. He rose from his seat.
βPatch it here Ltβ he said, the young officer relieved took his leave and obeyed.
Shortly, the message came to life it appeared to be audio only βWe have 2 unknown and unintentional visitors from the edge of our territory. Where do you want themβ
Intruders upon our sovereign space he wondered or recipiants of bad luck. He replied to the transmission it was directly to the matter at hand.
βBring them to me, I am sending you my co-ordinates , you shouldnβt be farβ he had made this assumption based on the signal source. Once the message was sent, he hit another button to the cockpit.
βCaptain, hold this position, we are going to be receiving companyβ He went back to his seat and lowered himself upon it and went back to his reading.

Re: What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
Alexander tried to keep his mind calm. At the moment it seemed he was not in the best of positions. Whoever he had now ended up with did not seem like the most receptive bunch as could be seen by his tied hands. Though in any case, he was not dead, which was one of the other possibilities of what could have happened.
Alexander tried to analyze the cloaked figure who was escorting him to a ship but could not notice anything from behind the large cloak. He was not sure if it was a he or she and even her mass could not give any indication as she was floating in the air. When Alexander arrived in another ship he noticed that it was much more advanced than the old freighter which he was in previously.
Though pretty much any modern ship was better even he could notice that this ship was above the galactic standard. Alexander then compliantly followed the commands of the hooded figure. Being tied to a metal pole whilst remaining silent and not resisting. He knew that resisting was futile in this situation and his best bet was to remain silent and make sure he was not executed or something along that line of reasoning.
Briefly, Alexander wondered what happened to the old man and if he was in the same situation as him and thought he was probably in the same situation as him. Though he expected that the chance of the old man surviving was lower than his chance of survival right now which was pretty low. Alexander also felt a little resentment as the man had pretty much caused the both of them to be stranded and picked up by these people. Still, Alexander remained calm and would start observing what he could of the ship. He saw that it was made of some dark metal, there was quite a large amount of red lightning in the rooms and the design could be described as utilitarian.
Alexander slowly started to tick off which faction this ship could belong to. It was not of the Galactic Alliance, not enough bright colors nor was it the bleak grey of the Empire. It might be of the blue sun but he thought it unlikely. Furthermore, it was too up to date to be a pirate ship so the remaining possible groups/factions of which this ship could be the inquisitors of the empire or the Sith.
As he followed this line of reasoning Alexander determined that he was most likely on a ship of the Sith. When this realization hit him he shivered a little in fear. The Sith were generally known to be quite dangerous and most assuredly not above torture or other forms of excessive violence amongst other things. Alexander thus was relieved that he had not tried to antagonize the sith, that would have gone over quite badly. Though now he had to worry about how he would survive his interactions with such a major and dangerous faction of individuals.
Alright, what did he know of the Sith? He knew that most of them had quite a sadistic streak, some taking an excessive liking to pain and torture. He also knew there were two important distinctions between Sith. There were the Sith who was all violence and fury who would slaughter anyone at a moment's notice and the more subtle cold and calculating ones. Alexander dearly hoped he mostly met the former rather than the latter but in any case, he would need to deal with them.
If he was dealing with the former he would need to continue his current action, quietly following orders and taking no action. With the more bloodlusty Sith, he would need to make sure he did not aggravate them. Thus he met any he would need to make a quick analysis to make sure he had a basic understanding of what annoyed or triggered them so he could avoid it. Maybe some respected strength and keeping eye contact without flinching whilst others might kill anyone who even made eye contact unless they were an important person. Which he, of course, was not, thus he would need to act carefully if he wished to survive this.

Maybe some respected strength and keeping eye contact without flinching whilst others might kill anyone who even made eye contact unless they were an important person. Which he, of course, was not, thus he would need to act carefully if he wished to survive this.

Re: What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
Receiving back the transmission, Raven had the coordinates implemented directly into the system. Autopilot was initiated, and the Infiltrator began it's trip to the blastboat where Warvanus was stationed. Considering they were relatively near, it took nothing more than an hour for them to reach the ship. In that hour, nothing but silence passed between both Raven and her quarry. This was good. Save it all for when Warvanus got a hold of him. She would atleast have front row tickets to the info produced. Well, she would, regardless. There was no keeping her away from anything hidden in the Sith.
As they got within reach of the Blastboat, the Infiltrator squadron made themselves revealed, and both which held prisoners, Alexander and the accomplice of his, boarded the Blastboat one by one. The old man first, and Alexander second. Both were accompanied by 2 of the hooded figured, as Raven stepped back and walked behind the catch. It took only moments for them to locate Warvanus, and once in his presence, the miraluka hybrid walked around the 6 individuals.
"Found a bit too near to our lines. Have fun." The petite woman then returned to her ship as the rest of the hooded figures did as well, as she had changed her mind. This was more than likely going to get gorey, and she rather hear the details than see them.
Linking into Warvanus' earpiece anonomyously, she kept herself listening to everything from this point on as her and her squad kept nearby in case these pair of straglers were actually a trap.

Re: What could go wrong ? (blood/closed)
Warvanus had the main cabin cleared out, for their guests. He stood clad in his armor helmet on so nobody could see his face. He recognized Raven, more and more they had been working together both striving for the same ends, to serve the Dark Lord and the Sith. He was an imposing figure, he was solid muscle, lightsaber clipped to his belt. He was menacing.
He saw the guards and the two prisoners they escorted. An Old man and a younger man, the air was thick with fear. It would be like giving a predator a taste of the preyβs blood. So was it with the strong sense of fear. He saw them depart and knew Raven probably did not want to see firsthand what was going to happen next, but he also knew she was linked to his ear piece and could hear all the happenings. He did not mind this, his loyalty to Lord Blood and the sith was absolute.
He slowly circled the cloaked guards and the quarry that they were guarding. He slowly walked around them studying them. Drawing on the Force but at the moment the Force remained silent. He finally was in front of the old man. This was the source of all the fear he could feel in the Force. He would not even speak to the pathetic excuse for a man, stretching out with the Force he could feel the old manβs throat and willed it to close.
The old man began to wave his arms trying to free himself from the invisible grip. If Warvanus had not worn his helmet it would have been cold blue eyes staring back at the choking man. He let him continue to struggle to breathe. He briefly considered releasing the hold and give him a chance to beg for his life, but the fear he projected was like a stentch to him and it had to be neutralized. With a final push of his mind he completely closed his trachea and the old man fell dead where he stood.
He slowly turned to the other prisoner, this one was different. He moved to stand directly in front of him now, after a long minute of Warvanus sizing the man up he spoke.
βTresspassers in our sovereign space is punishable by deathβ he began βWhat were you doing in Sith territory and furthermore why should I let you to continue livingβ
He was looking him right in the eye waiting for an answer, waiting for this man to seal his fate. What excuse would he give the Sith Lord he wondered.
