Finally, Aliclair had the time to fix that Cylinder. Ben hadn't been called out to immediate matters, and this had to be fixed. Normally, the maintence crew would handle fix-it's like this, but this wasn't unfound territories to the Padawan; she'd been working on star cruisers ever since she could walk. She instructed the crew as they worked their way in removing that dreaded sixth cylinder that haunted the safety of their ship, but maybe she could use the old cylinder as scrap. Something she'd need to plan later; now, she had to fix, not build.

Of course, she would need help. And lots of it at that. While the cylinder was aligned, Aliclair climbed on the crane holding it as she brought the plasma wielder with goggles on to protect her eyes, as she turned on the wielder, she hung upside down with her legs over the bars to keep her in place as she weld the cylinder to the ship. But, she wouldn't need to do it full; just to a point and the group crew could use their secondary wielder to finish the underbelly part.

While up very high, she sensed a familiar life entering the Bay; Ranah! She looked over, slightly tilting her head. Pulling herself upright, she began the process of climbing down the tall crane to greet the fellow Padawan. "Ranah, hello! What brings you to the Docking Bay?" she asked, lifting her goggles.

Ranah had finished finally the paperwork required by the GA, she was not resigning her commission but placed in reserves so she could pursue her Jedi studies. She had no training session with Pellan so she would explore the station. It was very different than an Alliance Military station. While the pace was fast as well it was not stressed it was fluid. Jedi were very efficient, she had thought to herself. As she walked the halls she nodded greetings to any Jedi that crossed her path. A lot had a curiosity of the newest initiate. She could imagine they were curious, she was considered by traditional senses that she was too old to begin training but yet here she was.

She ended up in one of the many hanger bays of the station, she recognized the Talon being birthed here. She knew it needed repairs, and while she was not mechanical she had basic skills. Most of her expertise was in warfare and survival tactics. She took a couple of steps closer when she heard someone calling her name. She turned and looked and saw a familiar face. It was Ben Kenobi’s Padawan, Aliclair she believed was her name. She took a few more steps, she was dressed in a simple jumpsuit , hair actually down.

“Hello” she began addressing Aliclair as she looked around the bay before back at her “I was just doing some exploring, what you got going on?” She asked genuinely curious, the sounds of other crews working on other ships filled the bay. It had an assortment of craft. She had been no flying ace she could pilot and could hold her own. Since joining the coalition she expected to be educated in a wide variety of things afterall the Jedi wore “many hats” in their role to the galaxy.

Aliclair stood with her hands on her hips, giving off a more care-free and looser look then usual. On the field, she was serious, not having a smile on her face. But within the dock bay, around speeders and star ships, is where she know she excels.

"I'm fixin' up Master's Talon. There was a cylinder in desperate need of repair, and he's out handling a solo mission in the Eta, so I'm taking this time to fix 'er up." Ali said, gesturing back at the giant ship with her thumb before moving the hand back to her hip.

Ranah took a long look at the Talon she was no mechanic, she had spent most of her waking time in training sessions under the Jedi Knight Pallen Strend and when she was not training she was meditating or resting. So far she had been very impressed with Koda station. She then turned her attention back to Aliclair.

“Looks complicated” she began with a chuckle one that said better you than me. “I’ve barely had time to explore since I’ve been here but this station is very impressive."

She took a couple steps closer, she did not want to distract her from her work. “I’ve been assigned to an instructor” she said. In truth each training session had been amazing. She was learning more about the Force and herself in the process.

She was near the Talon now, she ran her hand across part of the hull. It reminded her of her service in the Galactic Alliance military. She never dreamt she’d be in the Jedi Coalition one day when she had first joined the military. But as she had heard someone say The Force was awakening in her, she had to answer the call. She was a servant of the galaxy afterall.

“When you first started this path, did you find each of your first training sessions to be amazing in a sense it changed you?” She could not help the question she had to talk to another apprentice if anything to compare notes.

Aliclair watched with interested eyes. Ranah was a soldier, both figuratively and literally; such a strong soul. Ali wished she could be as brave as her.

The padawan thought a moment. Ben's teachings were certainly lessons to remember. The experiences made them hard to forget; his ways were... effective. He showed passion, even if they were aloofed. She figured a mixture of the unpredictable and the Jedi training would be a way for the lessons to stick better than normal meditations and lectures.

"Yes, it does change. Either for better or worse is a coin toss. Master Kenobi is, uhm... too smart for his own good. His lessons have meaning, and the way he goes about them certainly sticks a nail in never forgetting them. I knew once he basically took me in, it'd go nothing but uphill from here on out." she answered, taking a few steps to sit ontop a crate where her legs dangled off the side.

Ranah nodded understanding the struggles of Jedi training. She herself had only just begun. Then she remembered some of the trials she had to go through during her basic training and then Spec ops training. She had taken a seat on a crate.

“ I’ve not been assigned a formal Master at least not yet” She was not concerned with this fact. At least right now she wasn’t. “in fact, its nice to have this quiet time after the mission went so wrong, spending a month at the hospital was one thing but its definitely different surroundings, but like that Oasis at the hospital it feels very peaceful here”

She would be patient, She had seen a lot in her short life. Getting a Master, her development, all would come with time, training and patience.

"As my Master would say, we all have our ups and downs. Some more life changing than others, but you made it. And came back stronger. I was given to the Enclave at nine, trained until my time of choosing.. but was rejected. Countless times. I began to lose hope, which isn't something you should do. Then Ben saved me. I think you haven't gotten a master yet is cause you're extremely unique. As your situation is. A Force Sensitive soldier coming back from being imprisoned. I'm sure whoever your Master will be can teach you, and you could teach them." She said, then paused a moment; she reminded herself of her mother, which wasn't bad... but it struck something within the she-padawan.

"Or even not. I'm sure Ben will be more than willing to show you a thing or two; the Coalition won't leave a Padawan without a Master." Ali added on, taking a moment to stretch out her body.

She nodded at Aliclair’s words

“I know I must be patient, I know the Coalition is strapped for numbers and this isn’t the GA Military, its a big mental gear shift for sure” she began “ In the meantime I guess I Just need to keep myself busy” Afterall she was still surprised to be accepted into the Coalition and not left to the Agriculture Corps where the failed would be Jedi went.

She pointed at one of the ETA-2 Light Interceptor fighters “I’ve been assigned a fighter, so going over it and making mods will be a good start to keeping me busy” she said with a chuckle, she didnt mention about the storage compartment she was going to put in, as the idea had come to her just the night before but she had no way of knowing how to pull it off.

She looked around her again and then back to Aliclair “The Force will provide when the time is right I suppose right?”

Aliclair gave a small smile and a nod. She was spot on, and learning fast. She'd began to wonder if there was any Master worthy of her quick thinking and learning skills. Whoever they may be, she hoped nothing but positive and progressive lessons and moments ahead. Ali looked at the ETA-2 Ranah pointed at and tilted her head slightly. "That's good. Machines could always use upgrades. And check-ups. We wouldn't want to lose you to space over something that could've been prevented." she said before looking back at the fellow Padawan.

"The Force has its ways. Everything happens for a reason. Patience. And time." she added on. Although patience wasn't one of Ali's strongsuits, she worked hard to keep pushing to understand it more.

Ranah could only nod in agreement. Truth is she was very new to the Jedi her skills and powers unrealized. She had felt like she was out of her league but she had been told she could use the Force, in a sense deep down she always knew this. It had by her estimation had been what kept her alive during her captivity. Time would tell if her powers would develop and so the pair of Apprentice had sat in the hanger chatting about anything and yet nothing at all making small talk. For Ranah it felt nice to have a friend or a friendly face among the Jedi, not that anybody had been anything but.

A couple of months had passed. Ranah had thrown herself into her training and she was developing quite steadily as a Jedi, she had returned from Nar Shaddaa not too long ago and most of her wounds had healed from facing the Sith Apprentice and so Ranah once more threw herself into her training, anything to distract her from what she felt was ominious ruling of the council after she had relayed the events of the moon. She was going to be sent to Kashyyyk the homeworld of the wookies, while she had been there before she had been given no explanation, so she did not know if it was a punishment or if it was just a character developing exercise. All she knew was there was a Jedi Enclave there that acted as an Academy. What made her uneasy was the Jedi who had been teaching her Pellan was being sent on a mission in the outer rim. She knew nothing more about that. She had not been able to locate anyone she knew, whether it was Pellan, Master Kenobi or even Aliclair all had been busy with duties and assignments. Which left Ranah one course of action…. To train

Ranah was in the gym training lightsaber active as she sparred with one of the sparring droids. Her form was sloppy and every chance she got she worked on tightening it up. The sound of energy weapons clashing could be heard from the gym. Sweat covered Ranah’s face as she and the droid exchanged strikes and blows, along with parries and dodges. Anyone who could see Ranah would have guessed she had been working at this for a couple of hours easily as a soldier she had the stamina, so the workout had not been a complete drain on her physically, she also had employed her mental barriers (Force Shield) in a exercise to maintain it as long as she could, each time she was maintaining it just a bit longer than the previous workout. She had been so absorbed in her workout that she would not notice anyone coming into the gym to observe her.
