Renewed Vigor [Vechlin Training]

[Immunity Training] It was cramped In the confines of the YT2000, but comfortable enough for the Shadow Patriarch of late to focus his mind through the force. There were no distractions, and nothing hindering him. It had been five long years since the last time he trained anyone, let alone himself. He was still a Shadow at heart, seeking true balance in the force. It was not easy, especially in the wake of his people's destruction. He found himself dabbling in dark power more often than not, but it was time to refocus on the ultimate goal. Balance
Vechlin stretched his fatigued mind across the light force around him, binding his body to the waves of energy that smashed about aimlessly as it normally did when untouched. He forced the waves to join and meld around his every fiber of being as he sat legs crossed, motionless on the floor beneath him which he could no longer physically feel. The force energy began to create a sort of invisible sphere around his being, spinning rapidly as if to protect his physical self.
Vechlin could remember his fights with Rogan Drayen, Rani Churs the Sith, and Xavius Bain, his former master. He vaguely remembered his Jedi training under Ben Kenobi, but just enough to understand the Jedi, before he was banished. Lessons had been learned, and his body sustained severe damage over those years of war. It was then that he lost focus. The light force energies began to dissipate, again flowing wildly through the cabin as nothing influenced them to do otherwise.
Vechlin was certainly no Jedi, and this power he read about as a Jedi Padawan years ago was fleeting to him. He was determined, however, and continued to study the waves of force around him.
"I have to alter and control these energies and keep them bound to me like a vibroshield at my arm. This is not a power I can master through anger, but through tranquility."Easier said than done. True balance meant to understand that the force is neither dark nor light, but always at a neutral state until it is influenced by an exterior force. That approach was key to learning the ability.
Vechlin reached out to the force waves around him again, mentally pulling them toward his body. He shunned all thoughts and feelings within as he focused on nothing but the waves themselves. They were violent and shapeless left alone, but as he pulled fiercely he could see a vibrant violet color as his mind touched them. Tranquil, he thought. Vechlin became less aware of his past as his focus sharpened. The anger started to drift far away, giving him the feeling of a soothing cool wind against his skin. He closed his onyx eyes and could see the waves with even more detail, again pulling them toward his body. The color of violet began to morph into a deep blue, and finally a light blue. The feeling of cool air continued to flow, calm and benevolent. A sphere of light continued to whirl like a tornado around his body at a constant pace, less violent than before.
And without warning, his navigation computer began to beep as he was approaching the end of the Tingel Arms region of the galaxy. The beeping had caused the Shadow to lose focus, and the whirlpool of light energy had left him, returning to a grey and violent state.
Vechlin had a far easier time focusing on anger and pain, and dark force powers seemed to come naturally. He'd forgotten how difficult it was to remain tranquil in such a brutal universe.
