Date night(Slade)
Dubrillion
Kota stood on one of the islands that filled this vast water world. She was taking a break from things for a little while. She needed a good rest from the rest of things, with Starr back where he belonged balance it seemed was as it should be. There had been no assignment lately from Argus, so this was best taken when she had the chance.

Re: Date night(Slade)
It was a rather uneventful set of days for Blood, where he had no assignments for the last few weeks. Nothing of major importance required his attention, and other than many bouts of training to keep him sharp, he had chosen today to be his day of relaxation. It was hitting quite the most admirable of sunsets on the tropical planet of Dubrillion. He cared little for the space it was harbored in, and he chose to remain ignorant of it; made it all the more mesmerizing to stand front on. The breeze blew through his dark curtains, ebony locks dancing whimsically against the back of his head. It was a lovely retreat.
The sun was setting beautifully, the shades of bruised light hitting the skies in levels of violet and burnt amber, the orange bleeding into more violent shades against the seas, endless waves of water that had no problem reflecting the painful colors back to the star that granted them across its horizon.
Golden irises styed on the gorgeous poetry of nature until he succumbed to his own urges to play with the colors. Standing against a tree atop the cliff he was perched on, the Dragon Rider took his hands and whisked them across each other to bring one of the most minute of frictions, all he needed to summon his flare, a little spark of fire which he pulled from the Unknown and brought to life. A miniature blaze danced controlled in his bare hands, and testing various pressures he inflicted on them, the Wolf made the fire bend and shapen into any form he desired. Pressure was applied to bring forth the variety of things, but ultimately the Sithian settled on a small dragon. It took a mass of concentration, but keeping it's actions small, it's shape was rather perfect. A tiny fire dragon to keep him company.
"I'll make believe that you know everything everyone has done to me.", he murmured to the miniature draco which came to settle on his shoulder. And together they watched the rest of the tropical day waste away.

Kota sensed the dark power immediately, but she didn't react. Only she simply took a seat on the ground to place her feet in the water after removing her boots. She was not going to hid, not after everything. If they were here to finish what Tormentous started then so be it. She needed to relax and recover, she wasn't quite up to her full power just yet.

Re: Date night(Slade)
Almost as if he did it himself, the rush of water raced across his nerves more sudden than his next blink. Startled, he looked around, up, down, across the way...Nothing. He was nowhere near water. This was something else entirely. A feeling by someone else. A pressure that wasn't his, a scent in the Force that came form another source...a Powerful source.
And a slave to power, he was.
He knew this scent well though. He came across it before. The Force couldn't deny him this one. It was her.
His adrenaline thirsted to spike at such an abrupt happening. She had to know he was here...But she wasn't as pungent in her presence as she usually was. It was powerful; strong enough for him to feel what she did, but not that 'Umph' that came with the burden she wielded behind that web of hers.
Ironically enough, she was just below him, to the left, along the coast. How had he missed this before?
Taking a minute to recollect himself, he turned to the slope of the island, and made that downward trek. Of course she could tell he was here. He felt as he treaded gentle on those threads of hers, touching them in a gentlemanly manner, kind, pleasant, neutrally. He was using no tricks as he walked up to her aura's presence.
It felt strange walking into another's territory, but even as she was relaxing, her power was felt through the shell around herself. It was a wall she radiated, one he walked through. His own bubble was nothing compared to that which she harbored, but he kept himself uncaring of their differences. Just as he was when she was behind that garbage armor, a hide she needed nothing of other than being the puppet of someone else.
She was here as he was, refusing the protection of armor, of war. They were people, and that was how he was going to address here as of this moment. Walking up to her, Blood stood a proper distance from her, though he was well within her influence's grasp. Clothed in a dark maroon button up and a pair of regular dark grey cargo shorts, he appeared to be more of a tourist than a Sith Lord. Easy going tones cuddled his words as he offered a kind greeting.
"Lovely temperature for a rest of politics, is it not, miss Death?"
And a slave to power, he was.

She heard a voice call a name, the voice not heard in years, the name neither. "I'm Lady Kota these days, Slade if I remember." She said. Kota's feet still hung in the water, she didn't turn her head, just studied the water. "Still a pup seeking power on a leash, I see too." She said. Kota could sense his power. It hadn't really increased enough to be of any threat to her. "What do you want?" She said.

Re: Date night(Slade)
A canted head was offered to her as he folded his hands in one of his 6 takable pockets. A soft smile twiddled on his lips, more or less adjacent to his mood.
She hadn't answered his question. This only proved his question spoke enough as it did. Seems she too was away from the wars of people who held their leashes. Some people were tired of the tugging. And two of the most best met here on this very night. At this very coast. In this very moment.
"Seems we both have new monikers, Lady Death, as I have been renamed Lord Blood."
A chuckle punctuated his next statement.
"By the very same person who holds me leash, and the very same who wants your own."
He question was expected. It always seemed as if he was supposed to 'want' something, when on the contrary, he was quite the opposite. He usually let things run their course. He vocalized his intent- or lack thereof, rather.
"I don't want anything, miss Kota. I wish for respite, just as you."
He didn't take his attention from her as he too turned to halfheartedly analyze the waves that sloshed against the sandlines.

"Respite is temporary for someone like me as for leashes... I'm not one to have them." She said. Argus had a short leash at best, but it didn't fully control her. She still watched the water and waves. "Amuse me for a minute, what would you do if you had power like mine?" She asked, this question she did look at him. Kota wanted to see his face, it was not a question she posed to anyone else really, nor would it be an expected one. So she wanted to see his reaction.

Re: Date night(Slade)
Solace was a fleeting thing, so he had to agree with her on it. Though he didn't agree vocally, his acceptance of her view was evident in his lack of backtalk on the matter. As for the leashes, he knew well enough how everyone had their own leash. Sometimes, a person controlled it. Other times, desires controlled it. But everyone had a leash. Some mutts were simply used to walking with it dangling behind their sight.
He was such a living contradiction.
Her question stopped his thought on control, as well as his thoughts on everything else. The Butterfly Effect was a thing he strongly believed in, thus making the man think long and hard of his actions before actually committing to them. He was a thinker just as much, if not more, as he was a killer. And though not all of his thoughts were of the 'normal' category, they still existed.
Honesty, open and naked lay draped in his voice as he responded to her.
"I do not know the extent of your powers, Lady Kota, so I have not the slightest clue. But unlike many, I know I would not go on a power hungry rampage killing and slaughtering millions of innocents as the stereotypical reign-starved Sith would. I would more than likely ensure I stayed strong, got stronger, and used my strength to serve my Master until the day came where I outgrow his tutelage."
Though Blood hadn't seen his mentor in quite a minute, he knew how ill it was to bother him. He smelled the Sire's presence in the Force, so it was unseen for the man to be in any trouble. If anything, the Alpha was planning his next move as the majestic Overlord that he was in Moraband.
"Why was something of that nature on your mind?" he inquired, curiously as he too turned to give her a gaze.

"I have not had a master for years and one might change their mind." She said as she looked back at the water. "Death is an illusion for me now or days. I've see what is beyond, survived, and returned with another." She said. Kota was not afraid to tell him, after all he was bound to find out anyway. "Soon the hunt will begin for me, I am not running this time." She said. She was tired of running from people who wanted her either dead or alive, it didn't matter.

Re: Date night(Slade)
The handsome hunter stared down at the mysterious woman, his interest only peaking when she claimed her past times as an Apprentice to someone. Who taught her what majesty she knows now? It was something he had to consider, as she was obviously powerful enough to avoid being mauled by his own Alpha. Who made her what she was? Or was it continuous moving through the stars, hopping from one to another? Who and what was this woman's past?
There's no remedy for memories.
"Masters are replaceable. But lives are not. Death is not a toy, nor someone to consider a playmate," he pulled from the tip of his tongue. Continuing, he moved forward to sit on the edge of the coast. "Death is a blessing to some, and a curse to others."
He turned back to the ebony pelted woman, honest curiousity skittered through his words, waiting for answers. "Which is it for you?"
