Location: Yavin 4

Warvanus stood on top of a rocky cliff that overlooked one of the many forests that dominated the landscape of this world. The dark side was strong here. Off in the distance he could see the outline of one of the many massassi temples. The primary high in the sky, it was mid-day. Warvanus could not explain what drew him to Yavin 4. He knew Exar Kun once set foot on this world. Maybe it was that fact that drew the Sith. He stood clad in his armor, lightsaber on his side, blade sheathed on his back. He had his senses open to the flow of life here.
Predators and prey, aggressive and passive wildlife alike, flowed like a river through the Force. He was no mystic, not by any means. He was wired for battle, He courted it, lusted for it. When his blood quickened a switch would be flipped. He was not mindless but he felt as one when in the thick of the fight.

Once an apprentice of Darth Tormentous, he was left to fend for himself at being abandoned left to be preyed upon. This fashioned Warvanus into the being he was now he was strong had a good command of the Force he had fought and wrestled many secrets from it. Only recently had he taken Lord Blood’s offer to help him train and be a part of his pack. The pack made him strong, and he added his strength to the collective of it.

The humidity was nearly oppressive. The dry arid breeze provided no relief. The humidity threatening to oppress the lone sith. He would have none of it. He was used to desert, dry heat. He would not succumb to nature’s fury here.

He knew that one time Naga Sadow had crashed here and it was his servants who built the temples that he could see off in the distance. These temples had been plundered and salvaged and ravaged throughout the ages, he knew there would be nothing of interest there. So he stood and looked over the landscape, waiting, for what exactly he could not say. He had felt nudged by the darkside to come here. He was a long way from Sojourn. It was quiet, no unnatural noises, the sounds he could hear all coming from the wildlife of this world.

***Kalamith Sector, Near Toprawa - P-5***
***Imperial - Sith Border***
***Deadspace***

Stealth was the key. Without it the enemies of the Empire, the treacherous religious fanatics of the Sith would surely learn of this operation and spell its end before it began. The Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Grey Wolf was far behind back along the Hydian Way, well beyond the reaches of any of the Sith’s prying eyes save for the obvious spy or nefarious undercover cultist. Here, amidst the blackness of deadspace, no man’s land, sat adrift a lone Gamma-class ATR-6 Assault Transport. The craft was powered down to the bare minimum of life support and some other basic functions, had been for several hours now to better build the cloud of discretion around it.

Within the armored chassis at the cockpit sat Grand Admiral Argus Kraiov, decked not in his duty uniform but rather in the plastoid carapace of his Storm Commando Armor, though his helmet was sitting beside him on the deck. His weapons were stowed properly in the transport’s armory; namely the BlasTech E-11 Rifle he carried but the sidearm, a BlasTech SE-14r Pistol was holstered at his side. Slowly he was bringing the transport’s systems back online and already the hum of the power generators was bringing the setting to life with activity as the sensors, scanners and communications gear went through their start up routines and the weaponry and shield systems began to recharge their capacitors.

A clandestine mission to infiltrate Sith Space and land on the moon of Yavin IV where Agent Silence would recon and if possible, dispatch an assassination objective to an enemy of the Empire that had been quite the thorn in their sides for some time now. Hopefully though Imperial Intelligence was on point and this wasn’t a dead end lead…

“Desade,” Argus called out, she was in the passenger hold gearing up for the operation “looks like nothing has spotted us, we’re about to make the jump further in. There’s no turning back now.” Since Desade had returned Argus had gone through the trouble of ensuring she was outfitted with whatever gear she would need for this op. After all, he was sending her into the lion’s den, the least he could do was make sure she had a couple clean pairs of socks and some dry boots to wear among other things. Her arsenal, he had spared no expense in obtaining for her whatever her heart desired. He cared little for how she decided to execute her mission so long as the result was the same.

Cut throats, explosives, simple blaster shot or other creative means… he didn’t judge how the result was obtained so long as it was…

After several short minutes the navicomputer had calculated the jump from Toprawa to Yavin. It would be a short one and after a moment Argus trimmed the time down by another twenty-two seconds. “Once we arrive, I’ll get you in and to the ground. But then it will be up to you. Don’t forget, once the mission is accomplished or you need emergency extraction; light the beacon and I’ll come to pick you up. We don’t have any support within range that can risk the trip… so watch your back down there.”

Finished, he pulled the lever and the lone ATR-6 leapt forward into hyperspace; destination: Yavin.

Her hair was loose, as always, but she had finally washed the remainder of the bacta gel off of her form. She had been trying to be more human, tried pretending she was normal, observe and watch people. Watch the blood pulse through their veins, watched them be warm and happy. It was getting harder to pretend when she wanted to spill their blood in a fit of jealousy. Yellow eyes looked up from where she was staring at her hands, fingers curled upward, her nails, sharpened to claws, twitched a bit. They fixated on Argus, spoke her name. Not Silence, but Desade. A reminder of the person she had been before she had her life taken from her. Before her mind had fractured and broke. She smiled lazily up at him, and nodded absently.

She had torn apart the Scout Commando armor she had gotten her hands on, and reassembled it, the surface no longer white, but a patchwork of red and black, not smooth, but jagged, giving her a bit more of a scaly appearance from the neck down. Her knife situated in a sheathe on her left forearm, a blaster holstered under her right. On her back was the E-Web repeating rifle she was now starting to favor, and beside her was her partner. A mechanical monstrosity of razor sharp tendril-like arms. BL-4, her assassin droid. Belfor said nothing as the ATR-6 stealthily jettisoned, and began it's rapid descent toward the moon.

"Is the soldier man coming with Desade? She promises to save some of the creatures for you," she practically purred her words toward him, before she stood up, she was ready, the helmet was cast aside, she hated it, which was obvious, really, by the puncture mark in the right eye. She often stabbed that which she didn't like. She danced to the cockpit, moving behind Argus, one hand snaking over his shoulder, claws grazing the armor as she leaned down "The soldier man's superiors know not that he is here, because Desade still a dirty little secret," she added, her voice a soft, seductive whisper, "Silence will have to perform well, so the stuck up prisses in their citadel continue to remain in the dark," she added, then moved toward the back once more.

"Silence is ready to fall upon this verdant world," she called back to him.

He stood overlooking the landscape for just a couple more minutes before he turned and walked away from the edge of the medium sized cliff. If he fell he would not die but maybe break a bone or two. As he walked he took his comlink and signaled his protocol droid KL-PK1 or simply Karl.

Prepare the shuttle for take off” he said speaking into the comlink.

Already?” the droid quipped back “I was just beginning to enjoy it here” the droid told him dripping with sarcasm

He cut the commlink knowing his droid would obey. He would need to sit down one day and look into that droids personality matrix. He wasn’t right for a droid. He grew tired of the humidity and took a couple more steps when a sense of foreboding came over him. He reached out with the Force *life sense* he felt something at the very edge of his perceptions but it was alluding him, whether it was because of his limited control of the Force in this aspect or deliberate.

His danger sense was not going off but it felt like it could. He had been bored as of late left with little to do other than train and search out leads on haunts that Revan once dwelled or where events happened. He had been mostly unsuccessful, a Jedi turned Sith turned Jedi who lived over 4 millenia ago anything of import would have been looted by now. The last known artifact being a holocron found by Darth Bane over a millennia ago. Warvanus felt drawn to Revan , mostly he surmised because like him he had lost his identity, He was not here for that. This planet was a haunt of Exar Kun’s and the place where he fell. And he had seen enough.

Warvanus walked for what felt like forever, he had covered a couple miles from where he had been standing. That sense of foreboding growing stronger in his mind. Was it the darkside trying to warn him?

“Let it come” he thought to himself. “Let it come” he welcomed a fight

Regretfully, in the yellow eyes of Desade Pho, best known only as Silence in the ISB, and even then, only to a select few, Argus would not be joining her on her mission. Once more, she'd be forced to operate alone. Well, not entirely alone, Belfor standing at her side, the back bay door of the ATR-6 opened, as it soared over a valley, offering the last vestiges of cover before it had to lift off again to avoid detection. The droid dropped first, and the lithe form of Desade followed on the winds. The droid struck the rock face, four spindly arms digging into the wall, before swinging out to catch his Mistress with one of his more humanoid arms. She swung into open air as the droid slowed her descent, and then released, where she landed in a crouch on a low hanging ledge, peering down into the valley, taking in the verdant expanse that was Yavin VI. She could feel it here, where light and dark waged eternal war-

Welcome sister- her eyes flicked to the side for a moment, toward the sound of the voice that whispered such tantalizing secrets, her gaze narrowing as she swore she saw movement, but looking straight at it, she found nothing there. Then she was greeted with herself, silence.

"Declaration: Mistress, I detect movement below us," the droid said, her head turned toward the droid. Most would look on the mechanical creature with distain and disgust if they examined more of the leathern carapace that covered its more durable metal frame. The leather that covered him, was the tanned flesh of a human. Her eyes darted back toward the drop before her, and moved to peer downward. There were four red skinned creatures, a patrol of some sort.

"They scan and search whether there are things to look for or not," she whispered.

"Translation: A patrol, Mistress?" the droid asked. "Suggestion: They most likely need to report in on a regular basis, Mistress, they are not our target, getting found out is not conductive to our mission," the droid added. Desade pouted prettily for a moment, arms crossed.

"Sad day," she muttered, but she waited for them to pass, then moved to drop from the ledge, grabbing ahold of it as she passed, dangling for a moment, then dropped, landing in a crouch again. The droid climbed over the edge, and down the wall as if it was some spider-like nightmare. Once it was at her side, they began to make their way deeper into the valley, where it opened up into a large cistern, large enough to fit a former Jedi temple. It would be here that she'd find her prey. She could hear the clashing of metal upon metal, signifying training- where the loser of the sparring matches actually died.

"Reporting: Moving into position, radio silence shall now commence," the droid said, a message intended for Inferno squad so they knew their rendezvous was still on, to just hold still, once the radio silence was broken, they'd come to collect their asset. Rapidly they descended into the compound, utilizing the vegetation and occasional building for cover.

Come closer-

That voice again! Her head turned slightly toward the movement she saw there, and ducked behind a rock at the last moment, two Massassi warriors passing by, dangerously close. Not who had whispered her name, but she could feel the darkness of what had called her, somewhere in that temple. It beckoned her, enticed her, even. She'd kill her target, and then she'd see what other things there were to learn.

Warvanus had changed his direction, he originally was heading back to his shuttle but thought better of it.
He continued on until he came to a clearing, there was an ancient temple but it was in the middle of the clearing.
He decided to enter this temple, their were Massassi caretakers, guardians of sorts he gathered. Two of them, they
Looked at Warvanus and recognizing him as Sith remained passive and knelt as he passed them and entered the temple.

A smile tugged at his lips. He found Yavin to be a very intriguing
World. He had climbed the steps and found himself on the roof. This temple was not designed like many of the others that
Adorned this planet. He looked up in the sky, clear skies dominated the sky scape. He could still feel that sense of foreboding,
It felt as if someone or something was possibly hunting him. That was the feeling that was coming to him through the Force.

In one hand he felt indignant that someone would dare hunt him. It was always the other way around. On the other hand
He felt humor in this situation. A sense of excitement rose in him. He would not run. He would wait here until whoever
The fool was who dared to hunt Warvanus showed themselves.

The Darkside was strong here, that much was certain. He breathed it in and exhaled it. His radioactive yellow eyes once
Again looked skyward. The beast was yearning to be released. He would oblige it. It was primal, ready to spring into action
At a moments notice. He listened to the silence that surrounded him and his environment. He would spend this quiet few moments
In preparing himself. First he would raise his defenses *Force Shield* A lesson he had learned from his former master Darth
Tormentous, and he himself had used tactics like trying to deactivate a weapon or to pull it from his opponents’ hand. While it
Not successful it had caught his opponent off guard. He was lucky then and at the time Lord Blood had underestimated him.

Next he would unclip his lightsaber he held it in his hand but the blade remained inactive, for now. Finally he called upon
His anger and his fury the memories of his failures and events that would fuel his command of the Darkside. By doing so he guessed
That his presence would be like a beacon, drawing this mystery hunter.

Come find me” he said dripping with venom and now he waited.

She slipped, like a shadow, through the defenses. Everything was on alert, but that seemed to be the way things were here at all times. No one seemed to know of her presence just yet, and the longer she remained unknown, the better. With her droid in tow, she paused at the edge of the temple wall, peering around the side. There was a massive mountain of a Massassi and he seemed to be directing the training, barking commands in a language that she didn't understand.

"Observation: That appears to be our target, Mistress," the droid said softly to her. She nodded, then began scanning the area for a better vantage point to land the killing blow. Her eyes slowly moving up, toward the roof. With a smile, she moved to take a few steps back, then sprinted to the wall again. She practically ran up the wall, getting four or five steps up, and then she leaped, her fingers snagging a ledge. The assassin droid scampered up with her, spindly arms digging into the ancient stone with ease, leaving nary a mark, as it rapidly ascended.

Accepting the challenge, she pulled herself up, until her feet were on the ledge, ran off to the right side of the ledge, leaping as she did so, one hand touched the wall, as she ran alongside it, then grabbed onto a stone that jutted out, using her momentum to swing her upward, launching into the air, where she grabbed the edge of what looked like a balcony. Hauling herself up just as the droid joined her, they stood there for a moment glancing back to see they were not noticed. With a satisfied nod, they both walked inside the upper floor of the temple.

She felt the Dark Side around her, savored it. Felt the pulsing of warm energy, like blood, and found herself drawn toward it, heading toward the stairs that led to the roof. It was here that she felt pulled in two directions. Up the stairs, or beneath them? The droid paused to observe his Mistress as she stopped at the base of the stairs, then turned to walk past them.

Yessss come closer, learn from me- that voice again! Dark, seductive, she was interested in whoever the voice belonged to. It called to her, appealed to her. She crouched then, running a hand lovingly over the ancient stone brick that made up the stair case. Then she pulled one of the stones free, revealing a hidden receptacle of some sort. Inside, was an angry red, glowing cube of some sort. Her head tilted, as she took it and felt the dark pulse of ancient power. Finish your mission, and I will teach you to be one of the greats-, the cube seemed to whisper, her eyes fixated on it for several moments.

"Concern: Mistress Silence, we need to go, before our window closes," the droid said, causing her to blink and shake her head to clear the warm fog that had crept into her mind. She smiled, and tucked the cube away, looking toward the droid.

"Yes, Fear, let's away," she sang, then made her way up the roof, toward the other dark sensation. She emerged, pausing as she took in the figure before her. She wore what looked like scales, for her armor, with an ashy, grey hue to her skin, black etched around the corner of her eyes, eyes that glowed with abject yellow, in the dimming light. Raven hair cascading down her shoulders, in her face... The droid moving to stand at her side. "Oh, hello..." she purred.

Only the strongest can learn from me, that voice whispered to her.

"Anticipation: Mistress, we face a Sith warrior, and you have nothing but me for support, I look forward to tear him apart," the droid said.

"Get in line, Fear," she cooed.

Warvanus was clad in armor, head to toe, minus his helmet which was back with the shuttle and his droid. He was ready for
Whatever was coming and he would wait.

He stood there for a short period of time before the source of what he had been sensing appeared before him with a droid.
He did not move his lightsaber remained in his hand but yet to be activated. She was trespassing, he knew she was not a
Sith, more than likely probably an Imperial.

You are trespassing” he said his golden yellow eyes bearing into hers. What was it with Imperials
Constantly intruding on their space? It was beginning to be a source of great annoyance. He heard the droid speak to her.
This dark side adept, The droid wanting to destroy him in her stead. He would have laughed if he had a sense of humor right now.

He kept his mental defenses raised *force shield* once again the beast was ready to be unleashed. The anticipation of a fight ,
The glorious prospect of battle, produced the all to familiar sensation that permeated through out his entire being. The quickening
Of his blood.

He then continued “You are not welcome here Imperial, Leave this place” with that he took a step closer.

Imperial.

She rolled her yellow eyes at the word, her armor was as fractious as her mind, black and red creeping up her lithe form like scales, that protected her curvaceous form. Then her eyes flicked to the deactivated weapon the man held, a lightsaber. She had seen two of those before, one held by the shadow witch, and one by the imposing zabraki. Both had been at the same time, upon meeting Argus, and being freed from her drifting prison, being given a knew purpose even Argus didn't realize.

"Why do people keep assuming Silence is Imperial, do they know something Silence does not?" she asked. She certainly didn't look Imperial. She looked more akin to a Sith, she had overheard her medics say, on occasion, if it hadn't been for her lack of a light weapon of some sort. Perhaps one day, she'd have one to match the shadow witch's. "And Silence is rarely welcome wherever she goes, she cares not for the whim and woe of others," she added, "It matters not, though, angry man, I am not here for you- however, I can spare a moment to end your insuffering," she purred.

She had a meager amount of arms on her person, she was built for speed. But the repeater on her back could prove difficult for a Sith to block all her incoming shots, but instead, her left hand twitched slightly, and a knife, something akin to the kind one could find in a kitchen, appeared there, held in the reverse grip.

"If the angry man can defeat Silence, what will he do with her, she wonders? Kill her? Keep her as his own?" she flipped the knife over in her hand, pointing it at him. "Take her knife away--" her tone went from playful flirtation, to a darker, menacing tone, the darkness around the edges of her eyes seemed to deepen. "You can't have it, it's mine!" and with that, she launched, suddenly at the Sith, the move was surprising, the leap about as high as someone who was at the peak of athleticism, the knife being raised above her head, and down it came.

"Warning: Do not attempt to disarm her, Sith," the droid offered helpfully.

He narrowed his eyes “You are not Sith, and If you claim as such then you are a pretender” he said simply, he could feel the darkside in her. He also knew Jedi did not have dark side adepts in their ranks or the Galactic Alliance. So that left either a
Rouge or a dirty imperial agent. It mattered not to Warvanus the result would end the same.

He did notice she was armed. So was Warvanus not with blasters but the Force. It was also said that the outcome of a fight was determined in the first few seconds, and she made the first move as she leapt with a knife. His Armor would protect him from stab wounds. He could
Activate his lightsaber and make a move to remove a limb. That was one option. Another was jumping back and rewarding her with
A kick to the chest for her troubles. That was another option. So many possibilities and choices he could do. All these thing
Going through his head in the few seconds that had gone by from the moment she pointed her knife at him and from when she leapt
To attack.

Warvanus would jump back to be just out of her attack, it was more of backwards hop but it would get the job done.
When his feet touched the ground he would activate the lightsaber and point it in her direction. He said nothing but she would
See a small smile tug at his lips. He was going to enjoy this.
