The world was, for the most part, uninhabited, it was why she had chosen in. The height of technology of any person here in this dark, desolate, and forested world was bow and arrow at best, and the wild life posed her no threat. She had come here to study and learn more on the holocube she had found. It teemed with the Dark Side, and through it, knowledge. Knowledge shared to her, by an ancient Lord of the Sith, the first recorded to use the fearsome weapon she had seen that sister wield against the Sith, Kroxata. The thought of all she had learned brought a smirk to her face.
The first task, the cube had told her, laid in finding a place teeming with power from the Force. This place was alive with it, she could feel it in the air and in the trees, she could feel it beneath her feet. Then travel into the depths of the darkest reaches- she felt as though it was leading her on, directing her to this very planet, and tasking her with delving into the depths of the caverns she now wandered. Placing stone behind her, she found Ferrocrete and Durasteel.
It was an ancient factory of some sort, she took notice, pausing at a pile of exotic looking metals- and then she felt it, a darker energy, pulsating as she drew nearer to it. Pausing, she found a burned out furnace of some sort. Ash and soot clung to her as she reached inside, her fingers delving into the mire. It was here she extracted something truly beautiful to her eyes. It glowed and pulsed with an evil red light. A surge sparked between her and it, the Dark Side connecting her with the small gem. The damage this thing could let her do.
She took the crystal back toward the pile of metals she had seen before, and studied them, the curves and carvings, as she skimmed through the material, she picked several pieces of black metal, with silver etchings that curled and twisted about them. She drew them to her, but something was still missing. Her yellow eyes glancing toward a series of ancient monitors of some sort. She giggled at the sight, throwing a punch into one of the monitors, shattering the screen, glass cutting her hand, blood dripping across her crystal. Her hand reaching in to pull wires and cables free.
She set the cube upon the counter, activating it, and watched the assembly process, her fingers moving to twist the wires and connect them in the way the device told her. Connecting it to one of the metal pieces, she formed a small cradle with thin pieces of metal wire, the red crystal fit into the cradle, humming with anticipation. She adjusted the larger piece she was forming into a large half of a tube, though she soon realized that there were four such cradles in the design. With a sigh, she moved back to the furnace.
There were only two more of the synthetic red crystals, causing her to frown a bit, pocketing the crystals, she started to clean out the ancient furnace, then started to stoke a flame, ancient machinery soon screamed in protest, but soon the flames glowed an angry white. Turning, she began searching for what she needed, soon returning with the materials. She bound them together, and set it on the top tray within the furnace, closing it. There was a flash from within, as pressure was added to the heat, polarizing the materials. The overall pressure causing the flames to finally wink out.
She opened the furnace, staring at the glowing red hue that hummed within its confines. She reached for it, then recoiled at the impressive heat from within, then wandered to find a pair of tongs, where she extracted the crystal, then carried it back to the piece she had built up. She affixed her forged crystal, into one of the cradles, it hissed against the wire, causing them to bow and twist, then she attached the remaining crystals into their respective cradles. She adjusted the pieces, then began working on the second portion of the cylinder.
She attached the two metal pieces together, then admired her work, turning it over, it was a simple cylindrical affair with intricate designs on the side, but it was boring to her. And she knew not to activate it just yet, it was missing something more. She moved about the area again, pausing as she found a series of crystalline, concave objects. She skimmed over the objects, several were cracked, broken, or just imperfect, but she was able to find two perfect ones. She returned to the device, studying it, before she shifted to place them on either end of the tube.
She lifted the device turning it over, there was a few complicated thumb-switches on one side, which she activated it, one side erupted with crimson energy, the energy itself seeming to vibrate with an evil light as she stared at it in joy. Her thumb shifted, and then the other side activated, revealing another angry blade. She stared at it for several moments, then shut the blades down. All that was left was to make the device more... presentable. She moved deeper into the compound, looking for something more interesting. She grumbled as she moved about the room.
She growled as she passed a table with many pieces of equipment, that she knocked over, letting it crash amongst the bones of the long dead-- the bones! Her mood brightened suddenly, as she sifted through the debris that littered the ground, coming across many various bones. She found some old rodent bones, and a few she'd never seen. Though she could tell by the hand bones what the race had been once. A Massassi, or better yet, an ancient Sith. She affixed them to her newly formed weapon, shifting the device in her hand, four bony protrusions arose forming a cradles on either side, giving the device a wicked look. Finally, it was done.
She returned to the cube a moment later, then picked it up, looking at it.
"Ancient teachings, I thank you for, Master Kun... but I've no further use of you," she added, tossing the cube into the furnace, closing it with a slam, she activated the flames once more, and turned to leave the planet.
