Nar Shadaa aka The Smuggler's Moon
Monitoring the activity of a Sith Lord was tiring work. Though to his credit, the Jensaari was not at all surprised that a Sith would cross Nar Shadaa off his list of places visited. The dark streets and floating platforms flashing gaudy signs in various bright colors and lights cast a disorienting pallor over the ecumenopolis. Alleys stank of death, while several casinos occasionally released plumes of blue smoke through opening doorways as people came and went. Colt pushed kept his hands in the pockets of his slacks as he walked, a thin layer of black armor covering his body beneath the clothing he wore, several belts strapped to his torso and waist revealed a pair of blaster pistols, a Blastech, or as Colt liked to call it, a Blaster Shotgun, was situated in a holster strapped to his back. On his hips were a pair of tonfas, he had the look of a Mandalorian mercenary, alright, complete with a black eye patch over one eye. His clothing and gear all seeming practical.
There was a small frown that crossed his features as he felt a surge ripple through the Force in the direction he was travelling. He had nicked Lord Blood with his vibroshiv, the weapon had a hollow blade, with micro-trackers in the tip. Of which he had utilized many cuts that allowed him to keep people at a distance, or in this case, nearby. He pulled his essence back as he moved toward the direction of the disturbance. He knew he couldn't take on both father and son, hell, he had barely defeated Blood in their latest stand off. Colt waited until he felt the disturbance die down. The marker moved off... Colt moved to follow, releasing his mask, he searched the area, stooping to touch the ground. Flashes of events passed before his eyes, his head slowly turned to the side. He could catch up to Blood later, right now? He moved after a young girl. He saw some potential there. The son of Blood would warrant watching. He was more interested in this girl now, and if he could help her. He just needed to reach his mind out to her, and try to gain with the head start she already had.

Shambling over tones of obscured whispers clouded thought and direction. Maybe it was the loss of blood but in any case irrelevant when faced with the current circumstances. Lilith lost motor function briefly as her right shoulder collapsed against a towering steel wall. Rain gently danced down her battered body to the ground where her knees now lay bucked and exhausted. Yellow eyes heaved into the darkened sky reflecting colors of pink and blue hue from cold uncaring advertisements.
Peace was all she wanted in this life and yet always denied even now as she knelt broken and cast out. Invading voices from a force sensitive kissed her mind sending chills scratching down her spine. Being the daughter of a Sith gave you an understanding of how the force worked even if you did not master it. Of course she had no abilities to speak of still this itch in the back of her mind was a lesson of experience easily identified. Lilith had 'thought' her brother or Father now tracked her flight.
Knuckles cracked against the ground and Lilith lifted herself to shaking feet.
"No, you will not have me..." Eyes narrowed as blood from her wounds framed her passion for defiance. Smeared blood painted the wake of her trailing hands upon the wall marking where she once was and would not come to be again.
There was no way to know where her pursuer was or even if he had a fix on her. So in desperation she ducked into another turn of the dark ally and ripped the cover panel of a door's locking mechanism. Lilith winced as her clumsy fingers rolled out the wire and bridged opposing poles of electrical current. Sparks flew against her limbs stinging pain of encouragement suddenly allowing the girl a smile. "At least something's going right..."
Sliding the door aside as the magnetic locks disengaged Lilith squinted at the automatic lights spotting her vision with colorful dots of blindness. It was one of a few ways into the apartments of the middle class or at least she thought was middle class judging by the clean look about the place.
Stumbling down the corridor she chose a door by first ringing the visitor bells on every interface until one of the camera light didn't flash. Only then did she apply the same tactics of breaking and entering to find shelter for her weary head. This apartment in particular was nice enough sporting white couches and synthetic fur carpets. Judgment in taste not at the forefront of her mind Lilith darted for the washroom and sprung upon some luck.
Sprawled out upon the bed, by her hand, was the entire contents of a medical kit and she was delighted to see pain killers there in. Removing the safety on the injector she slammed the tiny one time unit into her neck and depressed the safety so the cocktail of depressants may enter her blood stream. It was fast and effective as her vision waved away the light of the ceiling.
In this moment her head was on a strangers pillow relaxing the mind to ease enough she all but forgotten about her pursuer. If Father wanted a fight than, "Let him come."

His path led him to a door, reaching out he felt a single entity. His eye moving toward the damaged wall panel. He smiled softly. A person who was good with repairs no doubt. Or at least good enough to work around them. He reached out and grasped the door in the Force, and slowly peeled it open, sliding it along it's track. He stepped in and paused as he saw the young woman, lying, injured, in a bed he was certain was not her own. He sighed, looking over her injuries without getting too close, then focused on the energy within her. She wasn't much of an adept, he mused. Why then had Lord Blood done this? No, the wounds weren't consistent with his weapons. The boy that had been with him then, his apprentice?
He focused on her metabolism, slowly speeding up the healing processes within her. One hand touching her arm as it surged with white energy. He couldn't heal people, just yet, but it sped up her body's natural healing processes instead, some of her wounds slowly sealing (Accelerated Healing).
"Good morning sunshine, just relax, I'm speeding up your recovery time a bit," he offered her, "Wo did you piss off? The Dark Lord, or his whelp?" he asked her, his tone was gruff, and he did look to be tough in his current attire. He was still in character, though an amused expression graced his own lips. "Gave as good as you took, nice," he added.

The world was aloft. Spinning with such a sweet daze until a blurred shadow entered Lilith's peripherals. Suddenly her heart raced with fear or anxiety. Finally her Father was upon her no doubt gloating over her wretched broken form. Was it so much just to let go? To allow a moment of peace? Lilith would have gladly remained docile if in fact Blood intended to end her there on the spot but in her experience the Sith Lord never allowed something he deemed his own to be destroyed. Fingers drifted to her sheathed blade, a dagger on her hip, until the force washed a feeling of calm over the girl rendering that blessed moment of peace she craved.
"What are you-." Lilith winced as the healing properties her body afforded sped up to inhuman heights.
"Raph?" No, this couldn't be her brother. Their fight was over and the outcome determined so if this wasn't him and it well couldn't be Lord Blood then who-, "Good morning Sunshine..."
Panic quickly returned and the blade shot up to Colton's throat. Laid out on the bed still flat and gasping Lilith's heart raced with panic as her eyes blinked rapidly to clear the haze from her sight. Still the Man seemed calm as his voice soothed her intentions. "-just relax, I'm speeding up your recovery time a bit,"
"Who, who are?" She gasped at Colton';s image, "You..."
The man that was Lord Blood's rival was known to Lilith. Fate, it seemed, held a sense of humor. Just as sudden did she realize who the man was did the blade fall to the bedside to tired to really struggle any further. Would it be possible to kill him? Did it really matter?
These thoughts flooded in but were so irrelevant to the situation. Beaten after a fight Lilith was in no shape to fight nor refuse the help this new face offered so sincerely. Which ultimately begged the question as to his goal in all of this. "Don't know the answer?" Lilith chuckled. "Guess Lord Blood was wrong. -You don't know that much."
Lilith's topez colored eyes fell to Col's hand and then to his face ridden with the wish to not show gratitude even though she was accepting the help. This man was once considered her enemy. Could she trust him? "Why are you doing this?"

Colt merely chuckled, looking down at that blade, his visible eye moving down to look at the metalic shard poised at his throat. Admiring the blade momentarily, the eye lifted to cast a look at her, as if waiting for her to either strike or to lower her blade. She lowered it, and he continued pouring his energy into her recovery.
"I like to imagine that Blood is often wrong," he mused, "But I've never claimed to know all," he mused, before he released his hold on her. The rest would be up to her body, he stepped back, then shrugged. "I felt the battle, got there too late, realized the Sith had hurt someone and was hoping to help them before they succumbed to their wounds. Aside from the wonderful benefit of spiting the Sith, taking care of each other is just the right thing to do," he said, there was a pause as he thought about his own words.
"To be fair, so is spiting Sith," he offered, then extended his hand to her. Blood had seen Colt's face, but the eye patch was a part of his disguise here. A lot overlooked him in his current attire. But at this range, without trying to hide his essence any longer, most could see him for who he was.
"Name's Colton Hunter, at least that's the shorter answer to that... my people tend to wind up with long winded titles slapped on," he joked, "I'll take Colt," he allowed. "Feel better now?" he asked her.

Lilith slowly propped up her body as to watch the man work his 'magic'. Lilith saw the force for the all mighty entity it was although her view was not to inspire confidence within the art itself. The darkside was all her family knew and in its allure was only the power to destroy. Frail legends of the Jedi spoke of beings that healed wounds and reacted to conflict with diplomacy however a short history lesson proved that such legends were merely tall tales.
No matter which end of the spectrum the force swayed it could hold the power to destroy all the same.
To that understanding Lilith distrusted anyone who aligned with the Force and that distrust wouldn't simply fade. Even now as her wounds were being soothed.
On the tail end of Colton's words he extended a hand to the girl and Lilith batted it way while rolling her yellow eyes. "Thanks but no thanks." Lilith didn't fancy herself a maiden blushing for a face and a tone. "Lilith." She flatly answered.
"-as to my health?" Wobbling on her feet Lilith gave the man a coy smirk. "It's nothing a stiff drink couldn't help."
In the silence she paced the room trying to obtain her barings with the dizzying effects of the sedative in her system still. Never mind the wizardry Colton performed. "Before you gallivant as the hero." Lilith warned as she rotated her hips popping discomfort from her spine. "You should know that I-" That admittance possibly wasn't a good thing to share with the new face in her life. After all it was Colon Hunter. The thorn in Lord Blood's side and a scoundrel. Actually dwelling on that fact she couldn't possibly hope to stick it to her old man any better than to play nice with an enemy such as Colt. "-I'm. I was just recently discussing my leave of absence with my family before you arrived."
Since Colton was following Blood and Raphael he could piece together the connection with the trio easy enough. "So in helping me you should be warned less you be dragged into family squabbles. Also it leads me to a question your intentions." She genuinely smiles. "No one is that nice so why did you help me, Colton Hunter." A mocking gesture of Lilith's hand twisted the air as it waved, "Lord of the titles, titles, titles."

Colt smirked as she batted his hand away, then merely shrugged.
"I've needed help being picked up off the ground many a time," he told her, "There's no weakness in accepting a hand or refusing it," he mused, watching her, listening to her words. "Now a drink is something I can get behind-" though his brows lifted suddenly as she mentioned her family. Eye widened just a bit as he looked her over. The dark hair, the facial structure, the eyes were different, that was sure. He took a step back as realization struck him.
"Your father is an intriguing man, Blood is my enemy, but, perhaps, Slade could become an ally, or at the very least, Slade will become an annoying conscience for Blood," he shrugged, "Though we Mandalorians don't recognize lords," he explained. "My full title is the Jensaari, Colton Hunter, Son of Sevra Mar'el, Son of Tyr Hunter, Grandson of Davik Mar'el, former Chief of our Clan, Briikar be Manda'yaim, Chief of Clan Sorrel, Commander of Mando Cabure,, titles given to us by our vod, showing my history within the clan" he added. "Mando Cabure, or the Mandalorian Protectors, we deal with those Mandalorians who have dishonored their clan, who give us all a bad name, and hurt others. My job is to protect, whether a person wants it or not... That is my intention," he explained, then sighed softly.
"Kindness is often a duty, and we take those very seriously," he told her with a wry smile. "I take it the boy is your brother then, the one you fought? Hope you gave as good as you got, someone needs to put them in their place from time to time, remind them-" he trailed off momentarily, then nodded toward the door, still open, letting in the stink of the city. "So, the owner of this place might be coming back soon, you should probably make yourself scarce, I was just leaving this moon, if you want a lift anywhere, I can give you one," he paused, then gave her a wry grin. She was right on the money about him being a scoundrel.
"No strings," he added.

Actions always spoke louder than words and Colton was full of words. Almost annoyingly so but Lilith looked past her own discomfort as she saw him as a man of equal action. Having helped her enough to close wounds and even offer a ride. No strings attached no less. Lilith suddenly laughed thinking of the notion that she had found a man who was 'just a nice guy'. "My hero."
A few moments passed the pair by as Lilith watched the door before darting her eyes from Colt then back to the door again. Would he be this nice if the owner came in so suddenly? Would he protect that person from her? Lilith played with the thought until her hand grasped the refrigerator door unsealing the contents within. Thank the gods this was a drinking home owner. A note she gifted to herself with a beer she snapped open and downed a large portion until releasing her pleasure in the air.
Poor taste but Lilith wouldn't look a gift speeder in the engine block. "Glad to hear it. Cuz I'm not that kinda girl."
This was a taste of her personality she gave to Colt so he would at the least have the right to not proceed any further if he was as goody as he imagined himself. Both hands motioned outward, "I ain't got no where to go now. That is to say I ain't got no where my family won't hunt me down and drag me back kicking and stabbing. so if that doesn't bother you-..." Again she reached into the fridge clutching another beer and tossing it over to Colt. "Cheers."
It would seem fate gave her two doors to walk through, "I accept the offer, Hero."

Colt observed her mannerisms for the moment, glancing back as well, no sign of the actual owner, just yet. His eyes fell on the girl before him, and smirked as she tried a bottle of beer. He winced when he saw it touch her lips.
"We... ah... have much better in our sector," he warned, "We try to one up everyone," he joked, hand snapping up to catch the beer she threw at him with the ease of a man who was used to fighting with his whole body. He shrugged, and popped the top, bringing it up to his lips... and immediately pushed the toxins out of his body through the Force. He wasn't doing this intoxicated. While one beer wouldn't have been an issue for him, he wasn't taking any chances.
"And I'm hardly a hero, I'll punch a Jedi as soon as I would a Sith," he added, "But as luck would have it, I wouldn't be offering you a ride if I thought you were that kind of girl, so there's that," he offered, moving to walk through the door into the street. He paused as he came face to face with another man, he was a portly individual who looked more than a little surprised to see them.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing--?" he began, Colt had a variety of options there. He could have choked him through the Force, hit him with lightning, fire, ice... he had plenty of abilities under his repertoire, but instead, Colt went with the old tried and true. He punched the man. The strike landed between his eyes, causing him to stumble backwards against a wall, and slowly slide to the ground.
"Alright..." Colt said looking down at the man, "Now it's a matter of going before he wakes up," he mused, "C'mon," he added, stepping over the man's legs, "Watch your step, he's a biggun...." he added.

"Hero indeed..." Lilith would have stabbed the man and left him to die bleeding out with his own juices mixing with stomach bile. A bad way to go to be honest but after the day she had there would be no thought to dwell on. Maybe it was better she met this man, Colt, that is that he seemed willing to take a different approach to solving problems than Lilith. A merit to some and weakness to others.
Lilith found herself lingering on the still body of the unconscious dwelling owner.
One hand rested on the hilt of her dagger waiting for action while the mind took a moment to question the future. Questions such as "would he remember their faces?" or "would he become a liability?" However as Colt's jesting tone pulled Lilith from such musings she ultimately stepped over the strangers limbs realizing it didn't really matter.
The beer rose to kiss its brim against Lilith's lips and drink the contents within. A dull flat brew with nothing to offer but the distraction its formula breathed. Releasing a sigh after swallowing both feet followed Colt, "You play nice but put a man down without a thought. Why not kill him and why act so noble?"
Colt's response must have come but Lilith stopped marveling at her reflection. A feral woman dared to scrutinize her wounds in a gross display of contempt. Lilith hated to lose and this felt like just that, a loss. The blood clotted wound marring her face would close and scar which wasn't all that bad. Scars were a good thing that meant you survived or, like a tattoo, told a story.
A hand tap danced across her swollen cheeks and posed a new question for Colt, "What kind of girl do you think I am?"
Her Yellow gaze looked to him now wondering if she was about to become a tool like her father wished except against that same man for another. "As much as you beg the question of trust I seek the same answer in you."
