clearing things up

Neive walked through the white hallway of the small transport ship as it was piloted back towards Alliance space. He sighed, leaning on the wall as he waited for word from the higher-ups. When a meeting was held on their way back from a diplomacy talk, Neive wanted to talk to them before they went off on another meeting. This could be his only chance to talk to them about his place in this operation, and more specifically, the trust that the GA had in him in general. But before he could say a word, they had already locked themselves in the board room.
Typical.
"We need to think about the smaller groups so that they don't become a larger problem in operations against the empire."
Admiral zule yslamari spoke to the other 2 superior officers in the room. Although they didn't hold full power of the alliance, the 3 did hold a large influence over the easts' forces. But the way things had been going, they couldn't agree enough to do something very productive besides hit and run attacks like the one Neive had attended not long ago in wild space.
"If we are to take the fight to the empire, we need not waste lives encountering rag-tag groups that think they can do something about a threat that isn't even hostile to them!" said General Arturo saran. Known as the savior of concord dawn, Saran was one of the most highly respected generals in the alliance.
"If we take care of the smaller groups, there is no resistance when we attack the empire. But we're such a small army compared to them, we need to isolate ourselves from any conflict besides that of inward criminals in order to train more soldiers so we can commit to both plans." Sarai newblood. The first removed of Admiral Ackbar himself, and an impressive strategist in her own right.
"Hold on... if we had a squad, or a unit that could possibly take care of these smaller groups, we can focus on the empire as you want to, and limit the amount of lives lost to these groups. But they'll have to be an elite group, someone who can take care of any smaller resistance. No jedi knights or anyone, as they won't be fighting Sith or against any outstanding force, but someone who can defeat these terrorists that fight us in the streets of our cities." Yslamari was always one to compromise.
Typical.
