"Get down!" Was all Kita heard before shots started firing from the aircraft wildly. Without thinking about it, she dropped down into the sand, covering her head for protection as the boat went up into a explosion of debris, sending it into the oceans depths forever to not be seen again. She glanced at where the boat once was, happy that she truly had not decided to stupidly climb into the small vessel before the shooting had occured.

Ignoring the pain from the splinters that had dug into the skin on her arms while protecting herself, Kita quickly got up and looked to find a whirlwind of activity happening upon the shore. Shots from the aircraft now ceased, however 2 figures jumped from the ship, both armed with machinery. The older man who was on the boat now stood nearby her, dodging bullets in his wake as the man who dropped from the ship had raced forward shooting ammo at them both. She managed to avoid getting hit by his shots, but something felt wrong to her. Despite him shooting at her, he necessarily didn't seem to be shooting to kill. Except for at the older man next to her it seemed. "None of this is making any sense!" She thought.

Another ship came in that moment once she had a break to catch her breath from avoiding bullets. Another figure made his way into the scene. As he pulled out a crimson lightsaber, Kita knew what his intentions were. She had heard of the sith and inquisitors. But she never wanted to come across one. Knowing they had a reputation in the galaxy for one thing, and one thing only. Death. "Crap."

While distracted from the inquisitor's presence, Kita hadn't had the chance to react quickly enough to avoid being hit with a Electro net. The shock stunned her, making her immobile. Hot pulsing energy surged through her body from the electricity, feeling as if she was consumed in flames. Shortly after spasming for a few seconds which seemed longer in her mind, the energy through her ceased and she fell unconscious in the sand instantly, landing on her side along the shore.

His dive took him into the salty waters though it didn’t save him entirely for as the Firespray’s shots hit the water it broiled from the energies given off and the surrounding sea rose rapidly in temperature to an unbearable measure. Ben vividly swam to the shore but by that time his flesh was hot to the touch and he felt nauseated from the severe temperature change to his core and the sudden blast of cool air once he exited the superheated water. There was no time to reflect on these things however as the Firespray blasted overhead and now came a fully armored Mandalorian with his rifle primed hot and discharging shots towards Ben with lethal accuracy.

Instantly put on the back foot Ben was forced to dive aside again as a trio of shots burned through his robes and seared scores along his back. Too close! Rolling to his feet now he took stock into the situation just as another took to the field, this time in the form of one Ben knew well enough; the overly familiar figure from Cerea! Obviously this was escalating fast and the girl was soon to play victim to these overzealous foes as a electro-net lashed out and seized her, dumping her helplessly to the ground.

Ben leapt into action and so did his weapon to the youth’s defense. Spinning his staff he engaged the yellow blade and it hummed with energy whilst swatting several shots from the air in simultaneous measure. Kenobi’s pace increased towards the fallen girl, his lightspear ever dancing and defending his own form from harm as the Mandalorian fired in rapid succession. The intent of the Mandalorian was clear, he was here for the girl, otherwise he’d already had the chance to shoot her dead. Why the Inquisitor was here though Ben knew not.

More shots speared to him but they were unable to harm the Jedi Master as for now he’d found the central calm of his being and in this oneness he felt the dangers approach and with expert precision he either stepped aside the shot or swept his yellow blade around to reflect it harmlessly away.

While the Mandalorian was the obvious choice to engage and neutralize first, Ben did not lose sight of what was happening as the Mandalorian’s accomplice was moving to seize the innocent girl. However, he was forced to make the decision to engage the Mandalorian first. If he moved to her aid now then the attacker’s shots would be directed at her as well as Kenobi. As it stood she was immobile and while unconscious she was not being shot at. While desperately wanting to rush to her side, he couldn’t yet make that move. The Mandalorian needed to be dealt with first and possibly the Dark Figure as well…

Jacobi’s shots were doing nothing to a Jedi Master, he anticipated as much for if a Master of Kenobi’s caliber could be felled by a series of shots then he’d likely never of made it beyond his Knighthood. No - a foe of such prestigious standing would not be undone this way - the shots were merely place holders to a melee that would rock this island apart. Though it was never to be. Pinging on his HUD came a warning label and a tiny screen popped up in the upper corner of his view from the bird’s eye view of the ‘Jai-Galaar’ and it showed the Mandalorian’s position in between the Jedi and the newly come Inquisitor who was darting straight in. He only had moments before this new foe was right on top of him in contrast with the much more conservative approach of the Jedi Master.

Knowing the Jedi wouldn’t strike from behind, Jacobi turned aside and presented his rifle to the new threat. If Kenobi so desired it would take for him but to close the distance and strike - Jacobi was defenseless on this flank. As many would suppose, Jacobi’s rifle spat accurate shots towards the Inquisitor, these he also suspected would go without reward but it was not to maim or fell his foe - it was instead to distract and impair vision. Each shot fired at the Inquisitor erupted in sparks and fire from the impact on the lightsaber that knocked them from the air, even slightly this impaired vision and that was enough.

Pumping his arm on the arm rest of the rifle’s neck, the grenade launcher became active. Being one that never gave concern for collateral damage - two grenades one was a phosphorous round that would explode in a fiery cloud of devouring fire. The other was an anti-personnel fragmentation grenade that was easily capable of tearing through many armor types with ease followed by severe concussive force that could blast limbs from the body and destroy lives in quick succession.

The two grenades flared from the barrel and slammed into the ground before the Inquisitor. They would detonate only a second or two, if the Inquisitor continued in this direction he would soon be running through toxic fire. These flames were not like natural flame at all. It was a liquid and gaseous cloud that was much like heavy fog and once it touched an object the substance would ignite. It was not as simply as smacking out the oxygen from the fire but it was the matter of cutting away skin and material that became contaminated by the phosphorous. Armor would only save him for moments before it ate through to the skin beneath. If he survived the flames then the frag round would surely clean up whatever was left.

Above, the Firespray was now over the sea by some distance and was now banking around to take an incoming run at the shoreline where the combat was swiftly spiraling out of control. By the time the Firespray arrived the situation needed to be sorted out or at a minimum it needed to be contained to a point in that the Mandalorian and Mercy could make a quick escape and make away with their prize.

Prazutis observed the barrel of the blaster that now aimed at him, only taking a second to process the shots as they fired to send them almost straight back into the source, hearing them searing into the water behind his target. Prazutis kept his brisk pace forward before seeing the two projectiles, and seeing the fire erupting in front of him, Prazutis had to think on his feet.

Prazutis noticed the liquid only a second as it fell to the sand, and in that moment, knew what he needed to do.

With a harsh step to the ground, Prazutis sent himself into the air. His momentum kept him moving towards the rifleman, but seeing the other projectile, Prazutis has only a split second to react. Immediately throwing his arm to the side, he grasped the grenade with the force and propelled it to the side, as fast as he could push it straight into the path of the Jedi master. Although Prazutis could only hope it did any real damage, he moved his focus back to the armored opponent still in his sights as he hit the sand on the other side of the puddle of burning toxicity, and with one more step, propelled himself at high speed at Wylcott once more, a pipe dream in his head that he could sever the receiver of the blaster and administer a fatal stab of Prazutis’ lightsaber to the Dark Lord that so long haunted him.

For just a moment, Kenobi was lost from his train of thought. He knew of the Jedi’s presence, but simply lost track of him as he put all of his focus into the task at hand: falling Darth tormentous once and for all.

Whoever the hell taught Jacobi, Mercy was impressed. Dude handled both the whoever-the-Hell that random dude was, and still saved a bit of seasoning for the Jedi Master, as he launched grenades from the rifle in those muscled arms. Wait, no, she thought as the grenades weren’t turreted; that Guy was a ‘Space Wizard’ as her memory recalled a certain memory labeling those who were Force-gifted. Gritting her teeth as she watched the dude soar up and out of the way of the grenades that flew to the Kenobi man, she was caught between grabbing the girl and making sure Jacobi had backup. A creative slush of fluent profanity spilled both mentally and physically from her as she decided to sneaky sneak over to the fallen girl just as she thought she felt Kenobi’s peripherals off of her. Just as she made an initial half attempt, she watched as he made a direct look to her, both humans locking gazes as it was almost made jarringly clear what she was aiming to do. Kenobi made his decision just as she had made hers-
And once he turned from her and headed for Jacobi, she booked it as hard as combat boots and sand would allow her to, for the girl.

~Dream Sequence~

Standing upon Tibrin's Docking area, Kita helped the fishermen unload and sort fish deciding which ones she wanted to keep for selling in the shop. The sun as usual bright and warm upon the planet. It was peaceful...until a breeze began, sending cold chills through Kita. Dark, and Ominous. The smell of rain, and silence filled the air. Looking up she saw thick dark clouds rolling in on the horizon. Warm and Cold air colliding. Lightning flashed, lighting the dark clouds, sending destruction in its wake beyond the distance. Slowly it descended upon the beach, people running to take cover from the storm as the wind started to pick up violently.

As if a force held her in place, she was unable to move. She had always been afraid of thunderstorms. And just knowing she was unable to move caused her to panic. She knew there was a high probability of her being struck by lightning out in the open on the dock. BANG! A flash of lightning filled the skies. A thunder bolt heading straight for her...

With only a fraction of a moment to react Ben also grabbed the grenade with the Force but there was no time to hurl it away, rather he directed the anti-personnel device straight down and it smacked hard into the sandy shores of the beach and he pressed it further letting it sink in as far as he could manage to get it before the inevitable detonation. It erupted in a shower of sand that cascaded across the beach following a devastatingly loud thrump of which was in such a proximity that it nearly took his breath away and most certainly his heart skipped a beat.

In doing so the grenade’s wrath was largely subdued though not extinguished entirely. Hot shrapnel flew through the air near the Jedi Master and had it not been for the sunken variety of its source he would have been turned into a bloody ruin. Instead he was offered the punishing volley of heated metal bearings flying in all directions, still as a lethal payload, though now far less in density. There was no true defensive posture for dealing with a fragmentation grenade other than diving for cover and hoping for the best; the fact that Ben did not do so was either testament to his daring resolve or perhaps an indication of his sanity starting to slip.

However, despite the heat of the moment and the threat poised against him he ran into the explosion of dirt and debris. Bearings tore into his robes, some grazed his legs and upper torso but a handful of the shot took him in the back at the upper left shoulder blade. Had the series of metal balls been an inch to the right then surely they’d have penetrated and harmed vital organs, instead the balls smacked against his shoulder blade and ricocheted off. In all it amounted to minor abrasions, in reality it hurt like a son of a gun!

For his heroic charge into the fray he came out the other side with dirt caked on his face and robes, holes all over and intense pain in his shoulder followed by the wetness of blood. Fortunately his adrenaline was high and until it subsided he’d be able to overcome to worst of the pain. That along with the cool healing tones of the Lightside of the Force he would sustain his composure, for now.

But now Kenobi was in range and ready to deliver an opening salvo of his own. Two clear foes; the Inquisitor had shown himself as a deadly opponent on Cerea and now here he was no less diminished. The Mandalorian was a severe fighter though, one of the best combatants this Galaxy had every produced. It was a telling thing to fall into lock step with either of these foes but both at the same time? It could be considered lunacy, Ben thought of it as duty. Either way, this was going down hot and heavy and no one and nothing could further prevent it.

He came in like a bolt of lightning, eyeing the Inquisitor’s attack directed at the Mandalorian’s rifle, he lined himself up; spearing his blade in with his advantage of range he aimed to thrust his blade underneath Jacobi’s arm in the armpit region and extent through the heart on the other side. The strike was so swift and precise it was unlikely to miss its intended target. All the while he kept his senses fully appraised of the Inquisitor and his intentions. He would not be so easily cast aside this time… He’d been lucky at Cerea but now Kenobi had his measure. This would not be a repeated affair.

A Dark Side Assassin of unknown origin though absolutely without a doubt a being of exquisite skill - A Jedi Master who was responsible for the Jedi Order surviving through the dark ages and quite literally a natural born hero of the cut of cloth legends were made from - both were dead set and focused on not just putting the threat of Jacobi down but doing it with extreme prejudice. And they were very fast. Even for this - Jacobi did not panic nor did he falter. If they wanted a piece of him them he’d very well damn give it to them.

His natural sense of combat allowed him to read his opponent’s actions very clearly as they unfolded. His heart began to beat with hammer blows against his chest and he could hear the song of battle begin to arise within him. Soon there would be a symphony of brilliant and overwhelming flare as sharp as any of the most articulate of artists could exhume. Jacobi would be the conductor and he was to display to his guests that this was his domain.

Not expecting the Inquisitor to so easily thwart his attacks he gauged proximity of the body by the typical range and arm speed of a stout being of given proportions. That seconded to the obvious ability to manipulate the Force meant Jacobi had exactly a precise window of opportunity to counter this opponent but it was also inevitable via the intense speed of the attacker that he could avoid the attack without creating an opening for follow up which would leave him deadly vulnerable. No - the Inquisitor was too fast to outright thwart, he’d won this round and Jacobi was content to allow it as he also spied the Jedi Master.

Anticipation again called for assessment of the opponent. Although advanced in age he was the most experienced fighter here and easily the most dangerous. Through Jedi tendencies and compassion it drew stringent upon the conclusion that he’d hold back and not go too far. Again it was to Jacobi’s advantage. A thrust was incoming and only a moment was given to reaction.

Taking up a deep breath he eyed the Inquisitor again and smiled underneath his mask. ‘Let’s do this then.’

The Inquisitor’s blade burned through Jacobi’s receiver like a hot knife through grox fat and in a detonation of spark and fire the concussion blasted the Mandalorian Warrior off his feet which by design allowed the evasion of the yellow blade of the Jedi Master by only the scantest of margins. A scorch was left upon Jacobi’s breastplate from both the detonation and the line of the Jedi’s weapon graze. A close run thing.

Landing on his back he reflexively rolled backwards and up to his feet in the rate of pace an acrobat would have been proud of even regardless of the heavy armor he wore. His hands now free of his rifle he snatched up small cyliner from the middle of his back and charged his enemies who were probably clashing with one another now due to the near miss of their target of origin. As he ran towards the melee his jump pack flared to give him speed and elevation into the air and he came down on Prazutis like a ton of bricks with a heavy left hook though as the punch came in close it was but a ploy - twin wrist blades extended from the gauntlet he wore - they were short sixteen inch curved blades woven in phrik alloy and diluted beskar iron since cortosis was too difficult to work into weapons like this. Still they would be as resistant to lightsabers as he’d need them to be.

From his right also shot out blades identical to the left though he’d not struck out with them for his advance would take him onto Kenobi’s flank where he extended his elbow and knee and as he came down on Neive he too came down on Kenobi with elbow and knee. This would offer offense while allowing him to land back on his feet well enough between the two while also keeping his right side weaponry close for a defensive action should it come and he was certain that it surely would.

Meanwhile the Firespray had now come full circle and in a roaring shower of engines blasting away the shoreline it came down to hover several meters away from Mercy’s position with its ramp open wide to receive the payload and begin the extraction from this worthless backwater.

Prazutis’ first attack had completed he task he needed, and from what he saw, in a split second, Wylcott would be disarmed. However, this was a blaster that he had just sliced through. Prazutis was no fool: he didn’t want to be in such close range to the receiver of the blaster when it went off.

Seeing Kenobi lunge forward at Wylcott, Prazutis made yet another split second decision that would protect him yet put his second opponent into harm’s way.

Spinning on one heel, Prazutis kicked his leg out to the side, for a second back to back with Kenobi as he began the movement to create distance between himself and the blast of the rifle. Although Kenobi easily would have an open shot to take at Prazutis, he needed to worry more about not getting seared by the small explosion as a result of Prazutis’ action.

Once he had stopped, he had a small distance between him and Kenobi, and while he knew just how much he had to focus on the master being at such range, Prazutis needed to keep an eye on Tormentous.

Seeing him jump up towards Prazutis, he prepared to defend before seeing the blades jut out from the Mandalorian’s arms. Without a second thought, Prazutis made another quick move underneath the airborne foe, himself and the dark lord almost switching places as his adversary came back to the ground.

Prazutis called upon the force, focusing his energy on Wylcott’s leg and pulling it towards Prazutis, hoping to catch him off balance so that Kenobi can have an opportunity to strike. Although usually, Prazutis would want to end the fight with his own blade, with such powerful foes in front of him, he could accept them falling each other with his assistance. He was powerful and skilled... but he acknowledged that these two were on another level. One that he hoped to achieve soon enough.

She made sure her gloves were strapped up well, or she’d look like a whole inept idiot trying to pull this girl aboard. Luckily the ship was swinging back towards the evac point and finally she clomped through the sand close enough to throw rubber based gloves over this bundle of limbs and ligaments. She rolled the broad over on her back, and just dragged. Wasn’t no time to huff and puff over trying to throw her over a shoulder- run run run! Jacobi was using valuable energy trying to stay alive and she damn sure wasn’t gonna waste any of it. Tightening both hands on the foot base of the net, she kept both arms behind her and just kept going, head down, and breath even.
The ship was there-
The ship was there-

And soon she would be on it, and her and Jacobi would take the friggin frakk the frakk off, and then she could go back to Dastan and tell him that they were successful-

Right?

She avoided the majority of the rocks and stuff; the Apprentice didn’t need any broken things in or on their catch. So she was somewhat considerate.
When she really only did it to prevent herself from being slowed down.
