Re: A day like no other
Adar listened carefully to Zasabi as he handed him the blaster. He got it from Zasabi's hand and took a moment to inspect it. He had seen blasters before, but never actually held one. He hoped it wouldn't be necessary to use it, but the situation demanded that he was ready for everything. At least the enemy was a bunch of droids, for now... He holstered it into his belt, ensured it was secured tight there and made sure it was hidden by his coat. Last thing he wanted was to be caught by the police.
Adar watched as Zasabi bypassed the security lock. Impressive skills, he thought. I wonder what else he knows.
As he opened it, a voice came from behind them. Adar froze on the spot for what seemed an eternity. He thought this is it, we are caught and the police hold us up in Naboo while the sith assassins bide their time to attack us again. As Zasabi wanted to keep a low profile, Adar would have to do something.
Assuming that factory security had caught them, he decided to come up with some excuse of staying in the warehouse when the shots were fired, and that he was afraid to come out.
As he turned around... he was surprised to see it was not security, but a worker. One Adar knew very well.
"Kelscha? How do you always manage to scare me?"
Kelscha is a close friend of Adar, in fact one of the few people in the factory he could even call a friend. However him recognizing her did not ease her tough expression.
"Adar... not only do you not show up in time, you meddle with things that are not your business... and you have the audacity to ask me why I always scare you?"
Adar felt a bad. He knew that his absence meant more work for the others. And evidently, it wasn't his first time avoiding a shift. He tries to explain himself, without compromising Zasabi or what they were doing.
"I know this looks bad, but I just..."
Kelscha interrupted him before he could even finish one sentence.
"And where were you when that gunfire was heard? You had me worried..." Her tough expression broke a little, showing her more gentle side. She always tried to be and act rough, just so the factory and her superiors did not think she was weak. But in reality, she was a kind person, and one of ambition. Ambition that her work was sapping out of her, day by day.
Adar was surprised by her words, and even more surprised as she went to hug him. Seeing an opening, he signaled Zasabi to go inside. He would hopefully catch up with him in a bit. He then returned his focus on Kelscha. He had to tell her the truth, or at least part of it. He was planning on leaving Naboo, and he was in danger. And she could be too, if they were seen together by the Sith. He took a big breath, and after the hug ended, he opened him mouth to speak.
"Look, Kelscha, you are right to be worried. I got in trouble with some bad people, and persistent as they are, they will hunt me for a while. I am leaving Naboo today if I can. I just need something from the warehouse. I am sure the boss won't mind."
Her expression became sad all of a sudden. She let out a laugh."You can't be serious... these guns, they weren't aimed at you, were they? How did this happen?" Adar let out another sigh. "I am sorry... I understand if you are mad, angry, sad. Work will be hell. I can only promise you that I will return. Now, please go. They are not afraid to hurt people I care about." Kelscha, shocked as she was, mindlessly followed Adar's plea. A single tear run through his face.
"Hope Zasabi found something useful." he said out loud.

Re: A day like no other
While Adar had a touching parting with someone who appeared to be more than a coworker, Zasabi quietly slid into the warehouse. The darkness enveloped him briefly before the motion sensors kicked in, bathing the entrance in light.
As he advanced, more lights flickered to life, revealing an industrial scene out of countless planets. Rows upon rows of massive shelving units filled with a variety of crates towered over the Shadow, a display that unintentionally reinforced the smallness of the observer. Hovering forklifts sat in their charging terminals, waiting patiently for the instruction to begin moving cargo into the nearby hovertrucks.
Reaching a terminal near the hovertrucks, Zasabi found himself confronted with a login screen. After a moment of consideration, he let out a small chuckle. As expected, someone with a poor memory had left the necessary credentials scrawled on the flimsiplast desk before him. "Gotta love information security," he commented aloud as he began to sift through the data.
The hovertrucks were decommissioned while awaiting parts. The least damaged among them had repulsorlift issues, which was not ideal, but it at least could run if necessary. Thankfully, it would not take much to mark the truck as recommissioned, meaning that he had the beginnings of a plan.
"Adar, finish up your goodbyes and lets figure this out, preferably before..." he punctuated his statement with a finger drawn across his neck, a ghastly expression of death on his face.
Once his compatriot approached, he'd gesture at the hovertruck before them. "Don't suppose you know how to operate one of these, do you? Because I think I've got our escape plan."

Re: A day like no other
"Hey, I was as fast as I could. At least let's be grateful it wasn't some random worker or a guard." said Adar, while looking around the warehouse. Then, as if to acknowledge Zasabi's gesture, he turns to look at him with a serious expression. "And yes, I understand the gravity of our situation. And I don't intend to die today."
The warehouse was indeed vast, and to Adar it was unfamiliar as well. It wasn't his job to be here, cataloging and distributing the goods, and he was thankfull for that. The task was boring as space opera, but to some it was thrilling. However, it was also the most demanding, as one error could cost thousands of profit loss to the owners and shareholders. And these people didn't always take it lightly.
As Zasabi asked his question, Adar took a moment to respond.
"Yeah, I was forced to cover a few shifts due to some lazy coworkers. Do expect a bumpy ride though."
Adar sat on the driver's seat. Driving these hovertrucks wasn't daunting, but he couldn't help but feel uneasy. He was going to do essentialy steal a company owned vehicle while assassin droids were in the area. Things would be worse if they were stopped by the police, as he didn't even have a license to drive. Although you have to wonder how the company got away with these violations, as the company drivers never seemed to get fined. His thoughts returned to the present, as he needed to focus.
"So, what is your plan? Are we hiding on the countryside or are we making it off world?"
Adar was hopping for the latter, so that he could meet up with his father later on.

Re: A day like no other
Zasabi smiled at the boy, turning his attention to the nearby cargo terminal. "Oh, I've got something in mind. We're not leaving right now though. Dealing with the Sith and the local planetary security forces at the same time would be kriffing suicide."
He hit a few buttons, watching as a low hum began to run through the building. Power had begun to seep into the structure, awakening it's automated components. Within moments the cargo haulers and cranes in the warehouse began to move.
"Adar, even a skilled warrior can be felled by inexperienced foes if attacked on two fronts. In truth, there is only one way to guarantee victory against multiple foes. You have to split their offensive and take them on one at a time." Zasabi stepped away from the terminal, approaching the boy. "We can't let the Sith hide behind Naboo security. So we're going to lure him to us."
His smile turned vicious. "We're going to turn this warehouse into a trap, Adar. With your help, the Sith won't know what hit him."
~ A short time later~
Blood was in the air.
His quarry, a clever and cunning Tooka-cat, had managed to elude his hounds, eluded the NSec's pitiful attempts at acquisition, and had once again gone to ground. It was an impressive thing, to be certain, but it the outcome was still inevitable.
He would have his quarry, regardless of where he hid.
Still, it was a a curious thing. The prey had avoided opening themselves up to the Force, shrouding themselves in cowardly shadows to better flee. So why now did he pulse strongly with the Force, as if calling out to someone?
It was a call for help. His prey had grown desperate, and now he whined and mewled like a kitten for it's mother. Well, that would not do. He would seek out his wounded prey and see to it that his pain was ended.
Rising to his feet, the Sith let out a snarl. Matted fur covered a body rippling in muscle, patches of his dark grey pelt stained almost black with dried blood. Clawed hands gripped the jet black shaft of his lightsaber, in anticipation for the fight to come. Bulging eyes stared out from beneath the crimson hood, looking to the nearby hunter droid leader.
"I have his scent," he growled. "Prepare to engage"
~Back at the Warehouse~
The shadows cast from the skylights above had shifted in the short time the pair had to prepare. Crates were lifted and shifted from place to place by crane and forklift, the building a whirling mess of activity. In the center of it all sat Zasabi, crosslegged and glowing slightly as he called upon the Force to heal his wounds.
"Alright Adar, they're coming any second now," he subvocalized into a comm bead. Somewhere in the warehouse was hidden Adar, with his other comm bead, "If you have any important questions, now it the time. Otherwise, you set the pace here. Just trigger the first trap when you're ready."
The droids had to be moments away, and the Sith not far behind that. The situation was engineered to prevent a long range shot- with so much moving debris, the droids would have to close the distance to have a good shot. Once they had moved into the warehouse, however, they would be in range of the traps he and Adar had set up.
It was time. At least one had begun to sneak through a skylight, while another, aiming a zipline from a nearby building, prepared to rappel down. Still another snuck in through the back door of the warehouse, having sliced through the security locks and disabled the alarms.
"You're up," Zasabi offered as he continued to look untroubled and unaware of his impending doom.

Re: A day like no other
Zasabi is right. They had to fight on their terms, otherwise the Sith would have the upper hand. And so, they went to work.
Adar couldn't help but smile. Like a kid being given his birthday presents, he cannot hide his excitement for this plan. He usually isn't the one to come up with schemes and traps, but he couldn't help putting his creativity in these machinations. "Hope we'll have enough traps prepared."
--After a while--
The scene is set.
Zasabi is seated in the center of the room. If not for the machinery, one could think this was a stage, and Zasabi the lead actor at the center. But this was not the case today. Zasabi was to be the bait, and Adar the one to spring the trap.
It was all quiet. Adar was beginning to wonder if their plan had failed, but then, they came. Despite their best efforts, the droids couldn't help but make small noises, which were picked up by the microphones the company had all over the warehouse. To monitor and spy on the workers of course, but Adar and Zasabi used it to their advantage. The droids were also visible the security feed of the cameras. They were indeed closing on Zasabi, unaware of Adar or simply disintrested for now. It was ShowTime.
"Let's give em a nice warm welcome."
Adar pressed a few buttons, and a crane drops its cargo directly on one of the droids, dismantling it instantly. The other droids jolt suddenly, being put on alert mode. The droid that came through the zip-line is hit by a hovertruck and thrown back out through the wall. Adar then sees two droids setting up a shot on Zasabi, and activates his masterwork trap. A Goldberg machine for sure, but he hoped the droids would be confused enough to not notice the steel bar that would hit them at the end. And so, a machine falls, knocking a small crate in the air. The crate hits a crane with enough force to slam it on one of the shelves, which in turn drops the steel bar directly on the droids.
"Wow, this actually worked." says Adar to himself, feeling relieved.
Adar activates his earpiece.
"Ok Zasabi, this seems to be all of them. Now let's..."
A sound. Adar feels a shiver run through his body. Instinctively, he grabs the blaster out of his belt. A deep breath. It was quiet enough that he could hear his own breath. Then, the sound of a plasma shot. Adar leaps to the side, avoiding the shot. He looks up. The vents! There was one in the vent! He aims at the opening, now having a blaster sized hole at its center. And fires 4 times. 2 of his shots miss entirely, but the other land. A light now was coming from the vents, but not that of a blaster. The droid must have been destroyed and caught on fire. "Sweet mother nature"
Adar let out a sigh. He puts the blaster on the operating table. But then, he notices that the droid in the vent was much bigger than the other ones. This has to be the commanding droid he thought. But if this is here, then... oh no. He heads for the desk to check the cameras. "I have a bad feeling about this" he says, as he frantically checks the cameras.
There. From the back door. Someone was entering. Merely seeing him made Adar feel uneasy. And all he could make out was his crimson hood. He immediately informs Zasabi. "Droid leader is down, but we got company. Someone with a deep red hood." Adar grabs his blaster, but he doesn't know what to do if this person is indeed the sith assassin. Nonetheless, he awaits visual, for he surely will want to engage Zasabi.

Re: A day like no other
"Clever," hissed the Sith hunter, clawed hands tense with anticipation. "The Tooka-Cat still has claws, I see."
One hand splayed out, stretching as though warming up for the conflict. The other, however, remained clenched around a dark metallic shaft.
With a heartstopping snap-hiss, the Sith's lightsaber ignited. Crackling energy ionized the air around the Hassk, the blood-red light shining briefly off of his bald head as he lifted it into a salute. "Za-Sa-Bi," he growled, enunciating every syllable. "I look forward to spilling your heart's blood on this floor. Once I'm done, I'll start eliminating each and every being that helped you on this world. It will be light work, but I do it gladly to celebrate my victory."
Zasabi stood smoothly, effortlessly. Above him, the fire from the droid hidden in the vents of the warehouse finally activated the fire suppression systems of the warehouse, dozens of sprinklers activating and soaking the area in a fine rain.
"You're just another wannabe Darth I'll forget in a week," he said calmly, thumbing the activation switches to both of his blades. Blinding light shot out from the ends of his hands, one blade a pure white in complete contrast to the other, a pulsing black. He crossed the two blades above his head, their lights combining into a brilliant grey on the floor before him. "Lets get this over with. I've got a truck to catch."
The distance between them blurred as the two warriors moved in unison. Their blades crackled with each impact, the rain sizzling off of their lightsabers and coating the area in a mist that obscured their movements. For a moment, nothing could be seen save for the swinging lights of their blades. Suddenly, the two figures shot out of the mist, skidding to a halt on the duracrete.
For all his bravado, Zasabi was breathing hard. The Hassk was no pushover. "Adar, we're gonna need that truck ready sooner rather than later," he huffed.
Leaping into the air, the Theelin grabbed hold of a passing crate, his hands and feet sticking to the bottom of it like a spider. He scrabbled up the side of the crate, flinging himself atop the crane and stopping to breathe. Were he uninjured, he would have been dominating the fight- as he was now, he would have to play keep away.
A thud brought Zasabi out of his reverie. The Sith evidently had little patience and had jumped on another crate following him. "You cannot escape me!" bellowed the bestial hunter.
We'll just have to see if I can prove him wrong, Zasabi thought frantically.

Re: A day like no other
A sense of relief came over Adar. The Haask hunter seemed to want to engage Zasabi first.
Then, a feeling of awe. The ignition of the lightsabers was a thing of beauty, even though this was a ritual of battle. As the blades were engaged in combat, the patterns of light they cast while they were clashing were spectacular, almost hypnotizing.
Finally, a feeling of dread came over Adar's entire body. The declaration of the Sith Assassin was... scary. Adar wanted to seem and feel unfazed by this threat, but it is scary to think that someone would chase you to the ends of the planet to kill you merely for their satisfaction.
As Zasabi and the Haask were fighting, Adar had to act fast. Zasabi had yet to recover from his injuries and was going to lose in prolonged combat.
I didn't want to use the domino, but it's the only thing that would allow Zasabi to escape and would distract the Sith, he thought.
The young boy holstered the blaster, and he took hold of a large leaver. Holding it with both hands, he pulled it down. An alarm sounded, and two giant robots sprung to life. These were cargo bots, that normally would be used to load the heavy cargo into the trucks. But now, they thrust with all their might and strength at the nearby shelves, causing them to fall, and knocking down more and more shelves.
Having done that, and having caused millions of credits worth of damage to the warehouse, Adar run down to the primary vehicle exit, and hoped into the hovertruck he and Zasabi had prepared beforehand. The large vehicle door begun to open after the push of a button, and the light of the afternoon sun begun to seep in.
Adar started the engine and waited. Looking back, he saw a smiling Zasabi approaching, and an enraged Sith stuck behind the debris. Feeling confident, he couldn't help but taunt the assassin.
"I'll be seeing you around, sir" he said, accompanied by a fancy salute.
The previously enraged Sith was now furious.
Then, a feeling of awe. The ignition of the lightsabers was a thing of beauty, even though this was a ritual of battle. As the blades were engaged in combat, the patterns of light they cast while they were clashing were spectacular, almost hypnotizing.

Re: A day like no other
Small crates full of industrial cargo flew past Zasabi, the lanky theelin dancing from side to side while dodging telekinetically flung debris. The Hassk was no amateur- he had plenty of battle experience and clearly knew how to adapt to dangerous situations. He proved this with the next wave of crates when he leapt toward the Shadow, blade drawn back for a horizontal swing.
It was strange- the Sith was out of range, even with his leap. If it weren't for the Force blaring a warning throughout his entire body, he would have simply stepped back. Instead, he kicked off of the cargo crate, soaring above the Sith. This proved to be his saving grace, as the Sith twisted the top of his lightsaber and phase-shifted the blade, extending it out by another meter. The new length allowed the hassk to carve through the crane and where Zasabi was standing, tilting the crate to one side. Colliding with the side of the crate, he dug his sharp claws into the side of the metal before kicking off. The crate clattered to the ground loudly as the Sith shot toward Zasabi.
The two clashed in midair, the Sith's superior strength flinging Zasabi into a painful crash against the top of a cargo shelf. Pain blossomed across his back, the impact so powerful that it left a dent in the grating. Through the red haze of pain Zasabi could see the Sith plummeting toward him, blade raised for a strike that would split him from brow to groin.
Lifting up both of his sabers in the nick of time, Zasabi caught the oncoming blade. The crimson lightsaber hissed viciously, matching the aggression of it's fanged wielder. "Today, you die," growled the Sith, bulbous eyes narrowed in exertion.
Bit by bit, the crimson blade pushed down toward Zasabi's face. Grimacing, he tilted his head away as best as he could, but crackling energy field still began to burn his face, the skin above his brow beginning to darken.
It was then that he noticed the crashing noise going on behind him. Imminent death had a way of blunting the senses to everything but the immediate danger before him. It wasn't long before he felt the shelves they were on beginning to shift, gravity sliding him and the Sith down toward the edge. Before the Sith's surprise could show, he focused and let loose with the best telekinetic strike he had in him, sending his foe shooting into a nearby crate. The hassk disappeared in a cloud of dust and debris as the shelves crashed over him, burying him in thousands of pounds of industrial equipment.
Flipping himself over, Zasabi sheathed his blades and quickly grabbed hold of the shelving, pulling himself up and over. With a single leap he tossed himself over the cacophony of metal rending metal and grabbed hold of another passing crane. Letting out a sigh of relief, he dropped down in front of Adar and began limping toward him, a smile on his face.
"Not bad kid. You might just have what it takes after all," he said. The smile faltered as he reached up with a hand to the wound on his shoulder, feeling the damp sensation of blood spreading through his shirt. The battle must have reopened his wounds again.
"Hope you're up to driving," he said as he hopped into the passenger seat of the truck. Resting heavily against the acceleration cushion, he began digging in his coat for another stim injector. "Because I'm definitely out of commission"
~A very short while later~
It took some time for the Sith to realize he was no longer unconscious. Surrounded by debris, he was covered in darkness. In truth, the only reason he knew he still lived were his other senses. He could feel pain from his left arm, as if something had pinned it in place. He could smell blood- both his own and his prey's. Finally, he could feel the mounting rage deep within him, searching for a way out.
Roaring, he let out a telekinetic burst that shifted the scrap around him enough to fill the alcove he was in with light. Evidently the falling shelving units had managed to create a small cave for him, protecting most of him from the debris. His arm, however, was not so lucky.
He forced himself to think through his options rationally. It took very little time to come to a conclusion, for in truth only one thing mattered- his prey was still free. Sacrifices would have to be made.
Igniting his blade once again, he grimaced and swung it through his forearm. Letting out a howl of agony, he let the pain fuel him as he pushed once again with the Force, creating an exit for himself.
He had wasted too much time here. The hunt continued. Sprinting out of the building, he found where he had secreted his speeder bike and hopped on. The Shadow would be his.

Re: A day like no other
Once Zasabi was in, Adar started moving the vehicle out of the warehouse. Surprisingly, no response was called to the warehouse, whether that was the police or private security. Only when we protest or riot they respond faster than we can imagine it he thought.
"Yeah, things went better than I expected. Though that last trap was a big gamble. It could have been you under those shelves."
That was a terrifying thought, but it could have happened. Luckily, his gut feeling was true, and Zasabi made it out of there with minor damage.
The roads were busy. Not stationary traffic, but traffic nonetheless. They had a while before they left the city. Adar thought it was time to clear some things up with Zasabi.
"So,you are a Force user as well, but with white and dark sabers." He paused for a moment. "Am I tuned to the Force as well? Because things have been weird all day. Hell,my life did a 180 today."
From not being sure of its existence, to wondering whether he was connected to the Force, the circumstances of this day had a severe impact on Adar. And this was just the beginning. For the first time he was free. Free of his job, free to get out of this planet, free to build an amazing life. But that freedom was scary. Today he had made enemy of the Sith, and they didn't seem the type to forgive and forget. And he had lost his friends, his house, and his source of income, not to mention he got separated from his father. Things were going to be tough, but he had grown a bit tough as well.
------Meanwhile------
The Sith Assassin was riding through the city as fast as his speeder bike allowed him. The Shadow had closed himself off the Force again, but it wasn't his presence he was following. He could sense another, though nowhere near as strong. It felt more like potential, like a plant that would one day bloom. Now that the Hassk's concentration was higher, he could feel it's presence in the Force amidst the deafening silence.
It was his only lead. He hated the thought that it could be just some random force sensitive in Naboo. But this hate gave him more power. Even if the Shadow and his associates managed to get off world, he would hunt them to the ends of the Galaxy.
But for now, he focused his effort in the present hunt.
--------After a bit of driving--------
Adar and Zasabi were now outside of the city. The beautiful countryside of Naboo was a sight to behold to anyone, whether they were born here or they were off world, though some was Gungan territory and thus less visited. Adar of course was more focused on the road than the view, though he was relieved to finally be out of the city. Since they weren't being chased, they could drive to another city and get going to another place.
Though what Adar saw in the rear view mirror put these plans on hold.
"You have got to be kidding me. Hold on tight Zasabi!"
He saw the Assasin on a speeder bike riding towards them. He put the petal to the metal, and decided to get off road, so that no civilian would be endangered. Adar would have to think of something, otherwise they were in big trouble. With no droids and no traps this time, it seemed that this was going to be a straight up duel. And though the Sith was missing an arm, Zasabi wasn't at full strength either. The only thing they had was the car, and Adar would make great use of it. The boy stopped the car, drifting it to the side.
"Ok, Zasabi, lure the Sith in the car and then get as far away as possible. Cause I am going to blow it up."

Re: A day like no other
OOC: Nicely done. You're getting the hang of it!
IC-
Zasabi let out a small sigh as the boy started in with his questions. Important questions, but questions he may not be entirely equipped to handle.
"Well, it's like this Adar. The Force is a part of everything and everyone, but not everyone can sense it strongly enough to influence it's path. It's like wiggling your ears- everyone has muscles there, but not everyone can use them. Little more useful than wiggling your ears, though."
He turned to look out the window, watching the afternoon traffic pass by. It was strangely peaceful, now that they had escaped their pursuer. For the first time in a long time, Zasabi felt calm and centered. It helped that the stim-shot had flooded him with painkillers that soothed his nerves.
"Some folks will tell you there's only a light and dark side to the Force, and that one is evil while the other is good. The way I look at it, the light side pushes for immersion and flow in the Force, joining in it's path and letting you be guided by its currents, while the dark side is about exerting control over the Force and commanding it to do as you want. More importantly, between those two extremes there's a whole spectrum of color and thought, philosophy and belief. Just because you choose one doesn't mean you can't change your path in the future, and it doesn't mean you're a bad guy or a good guy. Plenty of folks used the lightside and done bad things, and some folks use the dark side and manage to do good. It's not a done deal either way."
The sun had started to come down some, casting a reddish glow over the beautiful architecture of the city. It was a shame he was only here to escape the Sith.
"If you want, I can try to find you a Jedi to teach you, but till then, I don't mind showing you a thing or two. I studied under the Shadow school of Force users, and as such I know a little about every color in the spectrum."
He kept up the light conversation for a time before drifting off into a painkiller induced sleep.
"...Hold on tight, Zasabi!"
He jerked into alertness, hands gripping the seat belt across his chest. The city had been replaced by rolling hills that seemed to shake as though an earthquake had started. Zasabi suddenly realized that Adar had taken the truck offroad, the repulsorlifts on the civilian vehicle failing to account for the shifting ground beneath them.
"Wh- is he back? Blast!" Zasabi reached up to his wound, feeling the dried wet patch of his blood against his shoulder. The painkillers were still working, but now they were becoming a liability. His reaction time would be dulled, his senses dampened. If he was going to stand a chance, he had to have a clear head.
Calling upon the Force, he began to sift out the drugs from his system, nullifying them and rendering them inert. He usually only used the techinque to deal with poisons, but functionally speaking there was little difference between a poison and a painkiller.
As the chemicals broke down, the throbbing in his shoulder increased. Zasabi gritted his teeth, finishing the process before looking at Adar with shaky eyes. "Alright kid, this is your show. We just need to hold him off a little longer." Adar didn't know it, but Zasabi's trump card was on it's way.
Grabbing hold of the top of the cab, Zasabi flung himself onto the roof once the truck had skidded to a halt. He hoped Adar ran for it while he could- once the Sith was in range, anyone who could be struck down would be, just to fuel his combat vigor. Staring down his foe, he ignited his blades once again. One way or another, this would be the end.
The Sith accellerated, cloak whipping in the wind. Holding the speeder steady with the Force, the Haskk began to stand atop the seat of the speeder, pulling out the heavy lightsaber with his remaining hand. Zasabi could almost see the maddened bloodlust in the Sith's eyes.
With a small explosion of Force energy, the Hassk shot off of the speeder, plunging the vehicle into the dirt where it proceeded to detonate violently. Tearing through the air like a bullet, he met Zasabi's twin blades in a collision so powerful it nearly flung the Theelin off of the truck. As it was, the two began to clash, their blades sending sparks flying every which way as the powerful Sith time and again beat back Zasabi's defenses. It was all Zasabi could do to bring his blades back into place to defend himself, the swings of the Sith sending the tips of his blades into the roof of the truck and leaving glowing cherry-red gouges wherever they hit.
Strike after strike, Zasabi struggled to survive. The Sith was practically glowing with the dark side, having used it to empower himself at the cost of his health. A shortsighted move, but one that would probably let the Sith live longer than his prey. He circled the Sith, blades focused on redirecting the enemy's attacks but barely managing to handle the recoil of their clashes. Each time they hit, another gouge was carved into the roof of the truck.
It couldn't last forever. One particularly strong slash sent Zasabi stumbling back, his right shoulder smoldering from where the Sith's blade had managed to kiss it. He fell, thudding painfully against the hot metal roof of the truck bed.
"Do you see?" asked the Sith. "Do you see the Force telling you of your end?"
Zasabi, panting, let out a small smirk. "I was about to ask you the same thing." At the same moment the Sith turned his attention to the roof around him, noticing the various gouges Zasabi had left in his wild defense. They formed a circle around the Sith, almost preforating it to the point of falling apart. All it would take was a solid amount of pressure.
Calling on what will he had left, Zasabi brought a hand down, pushing on the Hassk with the Force at the same time. The Hassk struggled, one remaining hand pushing back as he challenged Zasabi's will directly- but it wasn't him Zasabi was truly trying to push down. It was the floor around him.
With the violent sound of metal tearing and shearing apart, the roof around the Sith collapsed, sending him into the truck bed amidst the various crates of industrial cargo. Zasabi, knowing that time was of the essence, rose to his feet and flung himself off of the top of the truck.
"Now, Adar!"
