Meera was ready to celebrate her victory over the planet's justice system. At least, as much as she could celebrate with that big a hole in her pocket after handing so much credits away. Keeping your entire task force loyal was pretty much impossible and the smuggler often used other people's vices such as greed to get her way. However, she was not counting on those corrupt guards to be even worse than she imagined. Rookie mistake, really.

Planting evidence... So primitive. What else could she expect really? She had used their immorality for her own benefit and now they had taken her by surprise by proving themselves to be completely amoral.

"That's not mine and you know it. You earned what you deserve. Now go."

She had no option. She did not have any more credits to spare and with a five against one situation, there was no way they were going to take her threats seriously. The odds were against her and there was nothing she could do. She was unused to be in such a situation, knew that it was always better to leave as soon as you can before things turn against you. It was one of the first lessons she had learned as a smuggler. She considered reaching for her blaster, but knew it would be in vain. And there was no way she was ending up in prison for possession of spice that was not even hers. Getting jail time was the last thing she ever wanted to do, but if she had no other choice, she would rather it be for a crime she had actually committed...

She was stuck and did not know what to do. If it were not for the two blue-suited aliens coming up her ramp, security would have already had her in cuffs. With the number of encounters Meera had had today, there was no mistake that today was a frikking bad day for her.

As the officers left, the newest arrivals remained and the human just stared at them. She had not invited them to come up on her ship.

"So what, you antagonize me, get me in trouble with authorities, then stalk me to my ship and because you made a couple of no good guards leave me alone, which I could have handled myself by the way, that makes us even?"

Alright, so maybe she couldn't have handled it on her own and without the Bothan and Quarren's help, she would probably have spent the night, and the next few after that, in prison. But she still had her pride and in her mind everything that had happened until now was all that conman's fault. After all, she was only here to drop off her merchandise.

"I'm not telling you my name until you tell me who you work for and what you want with me. And I still might not even after that. So really, whatever you're selling, make it good."
