Arlan jerked as the G-Force hit him, realizing the consequence of his poorly planned maneuver as he was temporarily blinded by the Supernova Flash from the destruction of the rocket. Hacking and coughing a few times, he eventually cleared out his vision, looking to the scanner as he heard the rapid beeping originating from it. His heart sunk as he saw the vessel swoop over his port-side wing, tearing it to shreds as he jerked again, reaching for the center control panel to try and regain control of the fighter.
After spinning out of control for a few seconds, he managed to get the remaining stabilizers on his vessel to level out, as he quickly looked over to the distant Qaesar, weighing his options between helplessly trying to duel and evade the starfighter, or using what booster fuel his fighter had left to make it for the Qaesar-Class Fire carrier.
In a split second decision, he chose the former, quickly regaining his control over what would be the ship's main piloting sticks and rotating the vessel, getting a feel for where his fighter's axis was as he preformed a shaky swoop. Though, due to how ripped up his wing had been, he maneuvered about slower, something that slightly chilled and concerned him, nevertheless, he continued on, monitoring the distance of the Firespray Fighter and changing the priority of his ship's systems to the engines. Taking advantage of the new speed granted, he finally flipped around to an engagement axis, prepared to duel with the fighter now that he had a clear shot.

Arlan’s maneuver was a daring one, and advanced at that. In spite of this, it had seemingly paid off. Not only had he managed to avoid dashing his interceptor on debris or asteroids, but he had accomplished what he set out to do. He was behind the enemy, and even from the present distance he could see its twin engines smoldering against the black curtain of space. And yet, when the young Mindar was about to depress the main fire controls, his target vanished in thin air.
It defied belief, and possibility. No ship that small could possibly possess a cloaking device. And yet, not only had the vessel disappeared from visual scanning, but Arlan’s instruments could likewise make neither head nor tail of the fleet ambusher. Then, in one horrifying moment, the Firespray suddenly reappeared mere meters from the TIE’s cockpit. Zooming forward on its side, all four main guns flashed out- and suddenly, the simulation was over.
Upon Arlan’s exit, he was likely to be very surprised at the small audience waiting for him outside in the event hall. A uniformed officer clapped a hand enthusiastically over his shoulder and informed the cadet he was wanted immediately by staff. Indeed, there was much to discuss.

Arlan out of reflex jumped back as the Firespray shot again, letting out an exasperated sigh as the simulation was cut short. Once he stumbled out, his eyes widened a bit from under his cap as he looked at the small audience, before looking to the officer and nodding promptly.
"Yes Sir, I'll make my way to their office now." The Cadet responded in a more enthusiastic and proper tone of voice, nodding at him and making his way towards the staff offices.
His stride was confident, and, although his current expression clearly was not out of pride, he was most definitely pleased with himself, eventually fixing it into more of a stern and collected look after he entered the hallway for the staff offices, glancing around as he slowed his place, looking for a que as to where he would head.
(Alright then, I got logged into the Index, and I just got a character Creation application accepted. Also, I believe I joined the discord a while back. As stated a post or so ago, super excited to begin actually flying!)
