"And you managed to make him function despite so many circuits of different origins?" he whistled.

Annan Anakin Rainwalker, Jedi Knight, was genuinely surprised, and beyond impressed at Polly's design. It was exceedingly difficult to find inter-compatible parts from different models of droids. Droid manufacturing companies made sure to make their parts as distinct from one another as possible so as to prevent part theft or reuse. For Polly to have put together parts from so many different droid models and gotten them to work so efficiently, could only mean that the boy was incredibly gifted.

"Was he your first? I made my first droid when I was 15, scavenging parts from a junkyard, on my birth planet Lah'mu. But I used almost every part of the same model, except the brain," the Jedi recounted, as he began to ascend the ramp into his YT-2000, expecting the boy to follow. "Come on, I'll introduce you to him and the rest of the crew."

Halfway up the ramp, the Jedi Knight stopped, concealing his alarmed surprise as the boy revealed his knowledge of being Force-sensitive and knowing about it... but not til until a few seconds ago. He noted the boy's appearance, wondering why he wore those bandages, before sighing. "My intentions are certainty not malevolent or treacherous. You're not under any compulsion to follow," he said, as calmly and soothingly as he could. "I have prisoners to transport to Naboo. You can choose not to come with, but if you don't have anywhere else to go, why not? If you know you're Force-sensitive, you should know that it is not wise to let a power like that just be... once the Force awakens in a person, it will always be there, inside, troubling that person until they get help... and Naboo has one of the main Jedi Temples currently functioning in the Galaxy. Besides, if you have some kind of strange amnesia, Naboo has the best doctors and healers in the entire Galactic Alliance, considering it's the capital planet. It's your choice entirely."

Jedi Rainwalker then turned around ascended up the boarding ramp into the YT-2000's main corridor.

Judging by Annan’s comment, the Jedi seemed impressed. It was all the same to Polly - approval or praise was not something he was after - but he did acknowledge the unspoken compliment with a brisque nod.

”I think he was my first.” Polly shrugged lightly and dismissively of the Jedi’s following question. Truth be told, he had absolutely no clue if Sixxer was the first, but it was better to just assume he was rather than dwell on all the holes in his memories that permeated everything. It was far too worrying and depressing, and something for another time.

Polly followed Annan up the ramp, quietly listening to him talk without giving any visual cues he was. Though the Jedi attempted to reassure him and ease his suspicions, Polly didn’t quite let them go just yet, even if he was certain Annan meant no harm. To let himself become complacent in perceived safety was foolish, in his book, the Jedi was getting better and better. He seemed a decent man.

”I’ll go with you to Naboo. I-” he paused for a moment in uncertainty. Should he say it? ”I want to figure it all out. Get something back maybe. Learn. There could be answers there. In the Force.”

As he spoke, determination set in his voice and on his face, and he nodded confidently in the end. Annan was right on many points. It was indeed not safe to leave a power such as the Force docile once awakened. Polly had a vague sense there was a memory beneath that truthful fact, but if it was, it slipped his mind. Besides, he had nowhere to go and the Jedi’s offer was the best he could hope for.

”I’m all yours it would seem.”
"I am me and me is many. What you see is not always what you get. A face is easily shed."
