New Arrival

Post by Keas Jong » Fri Dec 08, 2017 3:51 am

Keas punches in the commands to open a comm link to the near by station. "Bastion Station, this is Keas Jong of the Spitfire requesting permission for immediate docking for emergency repairs. I repeat I'm requesting permission to land for emergency repairs." He goes back to focusing on piloting his ship as it starts to shake while flying. "Come on, hold it together for me"

"This is Bastion Command you are cleared for docking in hanger 10"

"Roger that Bastion Command and thank you"

He directs the ship into the docking bay and sets it down as gently as possible and once landed he exits the ship with his sniper rifle slung over his shoulder. He looks around the hanger bay waiting for someone to arrive.

It was a deadly thing, treading on Imperial Territory, but Blood had done it before; who was to say he couldn't do it again? He wasn't anything special, other than a Sith Lord. No one who had caused massive destruction or even blown a planet up, yet. Kroxata held those stats. But here he was, enemy on enemy lanes.

He had traveled to Bastion wanting to see if he could track an Imperial Convoy that was rumored to be shipping a few valuable over the Rim, but he hadn't had any luck. And currently, he stood waiting for any signs of such luck.

Dressed in a plain set of black slacks, leather nightsole calf boots holding the fringes of the bootcut flare in neatly, he donned a simple longsleeve thermal shirt. Across his waist was a leather Vyper belt, holding a pair of swampstunner blaster pistols; he had to remain rather light if he were to be pulling undercover on enemy territory.

A dark mane of hair hung long and kempt across broad shoulders and draped down a muscled back of his 6' 4" frame, while his golden gaze scanned the terminal. What exactly could he get from being here?

A freshly docked man who landed in what seemed to be a slightly rickety ship, he turned to. Apparently this man wasn't playing much on the concealed side, as a fully visible sniper rifle hung from his own shoulders.

"Excuse me," he silked out in a faux concerned tone.

"Do you know when the next shipment is out? I'm behind schedule..."

He turned to the person who had approached him. "No clue, I landed here for emergency repairs to my ship."

He looked the other person up and down. "I was trying to find bounty work when I got shot at. I would have gotten them too if they hadn't hit me first. They ran once I blew up one of them. Apparently they decided I was to tough of a game to bite at."

He turned to survey the landing bay again. "The name is Keas, what's yours?"

Son of a Jedi, this man was useless, just as the other 37 he had asked for information from.

Bounty work, however, he could get at. He had plenty, if the whelp was willing to follow a treat...

"Man," he blew out, playing a sympathetic note. "They're pretty relentless out there, just gotta know where you're going. Probably pirates, if not some other rogue smugglers. Next time, get a good look at them and report them to the Imperials," he chucked out there. "They handle things quite thoroughly," sounding as if he knew what he was talking about. He had only had a run in with a few Imperials, and only 2 of the of the run ins were on mildly 'don't kill me' terms.

"I'm Slade," he lied partially. "Most business partners call me Mr. X, though. And by business, I mean people who do what we do. Contracts. And I'm gonna let you in on a littler secret," he murmured to the newcomer. "You're not gonna get anything worth your time in this hole."

He nods while looking around the Hanger bay. "Nice to meet you. Do they have someplace where I need to go and let them know that I've landed?" He keys in some commands to his ship computer for a list of everything to replenish the supplies.

"I'll be right back, I need to get some things from on my ship" He heads back inside his ship to don his armor and grab his duffel bag.

'If they know he's landed, they'll have to scan him into the system; then I can't just whisk him off. But is it really worth the trouble?'

Blood thinks, pursing his lips together as he's interrupted by the sudden disappearance of the company. Keas was rather impersonal, something most business minds shared. He must have been all about the credits.
And that was something he could use, but didn't need.

"They might have the log ins by the northern sector of this hallway," he said, pointing to the crowded sect of laneway.

He would have to cut this off, as painlessly as possible and withdraw from the situation, as identification was a mess when it came to Imperials. Best get out while he still could.

"It's a bit of a wait with them; there's lots of organics over there. Go ahead and get you a spot in line; i'll meet you up in a minute or two."

With that, Blood briskly hurried from the growing population of Bastion inhabitors, trying to keep his profile low as possible. This was too reckless, trying to steal someone in the Sith's name right on the Capital of Empire land. Absolutely reckless, and that was something he wasn't.
With that, he loaded back onto the unmarked taxiship he rented, and flew back into the cosmos.

He came back out with in his armor with his pack and rifle slung over his shoulder and looks around "Ok, so over there then"

He walks over to the waiting area and looks around and seeing an officer he walks up to him "I've just landed with the damaged ship. This is the list of parts that it needs for repair." He hands over the parts list to the Imperial Officer. "Also I'm looking for work within the bounty system, anyone I can talk to about that?"

Rhoden surveyed the various crowds and vehicles coming and going from the spaceport. Following the difficulties at the Academy within the past week Inferno Squad had further delayed its departure to search for any more signs of trouble. The upside to operating on Bastion was that Rhoden was able to remain in his armor. The rest of the squad was deployed throughout the spaceport searching for trouble as well, and the Hydra's Stormtroopers had replaced the usual patrol squads.

Rhoden noticed a Firespray land in Bay 10, it was a relatively uncommon craft, particularly on Bastion. The man who disembarked had the distinct look of a bounty hunter, complete with a rifle slung over his back. Another man approached the bounty hunter but left after a brief exchange. Rhoden made a decision, even with special forces on the ground it would be useful to have some fresh eyes, sniff out the trouble.

Rhoden walked up as the man approached an officer, "...looking for work within the bounty system, anyone I can talk to about that?" Rhoden heard him ask. "I've got some work, not so much a bounty as detective work." Rhoden answered before the officer could respond.

He looked over at the person who had approached. "Is there some kind of trouble going on and if so how does it pay? My ship needs repairs due to a surprise attack that came out of no where. I managed to destroy one of them but the rest fled."

"Well now," Rhoden said, pulling up the details on the ship in Bay 10 "We'll begin with expedited repairs on--er--what remains of your ship." Rhoden said as the image came up on his helmets internal display. "Then a two-thousand credit reward for finding us some likely faces, you actually bring one in--and they turn out to be who we're looking for--you'll get ten-thousand credits." Rhoden said. "Now, we're looking for someone, potentially an Alliance operative, who had a hand in some recent happenings at the Imperial Academy here on Bastion."

Rhoden looked hard at the man, "We've already got people on the job, but in this case we could probably use some fresh eyes." Rhoden said. "So, find a face, get some credits. Yes?" Rhoden finished.
