The special one

There it was, the same weird dream. A dream about a man dressed in a brown robe who suddenly appears in my house telling me that i will become something special. I don’t know what the dream means, and i don’t know who the man is either. Perhaps he is a jedi, but why would a jedi appear in my dreams, i just don’t get it. When asking my parents about this dream, they are always avoiding the subject. I can’t stop thinking about if my parents are hiding something from me, as they have never been talking about their past, except their time on Coruscant, the force and the fall of the jedi order after order 66. I have never understood why they were talking about the force and the fall of the jedi order, maybe they are trying to hint something? One thing that suggests that they are implying something is, that i found two lightsabers among my parents things the other day. Are my parents jedi who survived order 66?

The Jedi Coalition, the raging phoenix arisen from the ashes of the New Jedi Order which in itself was the last reflection of the oldest age when Jedi were well known as the peacemakers and the steadfast guardians of the Galaxy. After the Galactic Civil War had found a conclusion and after the Empire had receded into a shadow of its former self, the Galactic Alliance came into being through many trials and tribulations and with it had come the Jedi Coalition and to this day the unfolding scene was one of promise and change.

Certainly the resurgence of the Jedi Knights into the Galaxy was not fraught with much in the way of setbacks and loss. This was the way of things and it was also the way in which the great pendulum of time tended to swing. Today the Jedi Knights were still a precious few; however, their legend had finally been removed from the dreams of children and the bedtime stories of mothers and fathers. No longer were the Jedi mythical warriors never to be seen save from the confined spaces of a museum or holovid. Now, today, they were revered as the few and the very real aspect of the warrior monk they’d always been thought of.

Though with numbers so few and far between, the sight of a Jedi was still that of rare circumstance. But the enduring facts still remained, the time of their extinction was over and the day had come once again where the Jedi Knights were very real indeed.
