Ordona ate at a slow, reserved pace. It was intended to allow her to slow down her thoughts and focus. Her mind was a-jitter with worries about her cargo, but she was determined not to let it show. If it were truly just regular crystals, she'd have no reason to even cast a second glance at them. But the hidden Adegan crystals meant that it was a more dangerous endeavor. If anyone had caught word of what she was shipping, now would be an opportune time to sneak aboard The Darkstar Crusader and make an attempt at stealing them. Such were her thoughts when Bain mentioned returning to her shipment.
"Nah. I'm in no hurry," she said with a smile. She still had half of her steak left to finish and showing agitation or haste now would only make them suspicious.
Why do I care if they're suspicious? It's not like they're going to steal from me, Ordona thought, feeling silly. Still, there was something more to discover here and she intended to find out. The Force was concentrated strongly around the three travelers, Ordona could feel it. She wasn't sure what it meant. Is something going to happen that I need to be here for? Are they threats to others? she asked herself. It was hard to know what the Will of the Force was. There was just too much missing information. She just wasn't sure what to do about it, now.
"Either of you want to try a bite of this steak? It's pretty good, especially for a place like this," she offered with a smile. Nothing to do for it but wait it out and see.

Re: The Unknown Expanse
Xerxes chuckled as Bain made his quip about his appearance, he supposed that one who could not see would not be as concerned as most about their personal appearance. Then again it was something he paid little heed to at one time, mainly because he couldn't afford to. Now he indulged a little, mainly with his hair as in the mines he had made it a habit to keep his head shaved. Now he thought about it he wondered if any of the family he had left behind would remember what colour his hair was. Though that practice with his scalp had came in handy when his beard had started to make an appearance, the hair on his head was enough for him at the moment. When the man mentioned not feeling obligated he chuckled once more and he flowed straight back into the Kidron, Kid the Spacer, persona once more.
"Nah lad, I'm in no rush. The 'Ferrum Pyrite' has a bit ta go befo'e she'll be weighing anchor, 'sides I get precious little in ta way of intelligent conversation. The burbled beeps of ta droids can only tell ya so much." As he said this he could hear in the back of his mind the tirade of binary that Scrap would unleash at him, the droid convinced that binaric was superior to any sentient language to the point that he refused vocabulator installations. He appreciated the eccentricities of the droids that crewed his ship but he knew many a spacer were not as close to or as accepting of them as he himself was. It seemed their female companion was in no rush either, well, that was the impression she gave. Considering what she was transporting and knowing its true value he couldn't help but feel that she was putting on an act but, if she was it was a good one that didn't show in her demeanour. He wanted to reach out to let his senses loose once more but he knew to do so was to expose himself. When she offered some of her steak he had a split second to weigh up the options. Kid would take it without hesitation he knew that, that was the personality he was building but... No it was pure protein and shouldn't adversely affect him, it was the richer fatty types of food his body had the hardest time handling.
"Don' mind if I do Sister. I rarely get the chance ta indulge." He didn't do the impolite thing and try and cut himself a bit of but he did push a side plate in her direction indicating he was willing to accept the offer "The stew ain't half bad either if ya want ta try it. I've eaten some places where ya'd swear it was nothing but the slops bucket being sold as a meal but, they actually seem ta care for their rep here and the price sure is reasonable. Thought it'd be exorbitant since this is a space station orbiting one of the richer worlds but, they know what their clientele is gonna be." He tried to get the conversation rolling with the woman again as it seemed to have stalled slightly and thought Xerxes didn't mind as it meant he could talk to Bain without interruption the Kidron persona wouldn't like the fact that one of the group was being left out, no matter the reason why.
