Little did the professor know was that she shared more with the Wookiee than a common kinship. Jafarda was her contact who she had manipulated into helping her apprehend one of his clan, in turn he was outcasted and turned to bounty hunting. To gain his trust they had fought one another, truth be told she had barely won. He respected her for her strength that she was able to stand up to him in battle. In turn he gave her his life debt that if she needed anything he would support her, life debts were not easily broken or given. It was strange that this situation arose that he would be the last guard standing in her way of Jannick.

All that stood between them and the terrified contract was a blast door which Jafarda knew the code to. “My employer wants him alive, please don’t kill him” Sasha spoke in Jafarda’s native language.

Snickered as she responded” Yes he doesn’t have to be entirely entact”he roared in acknowledgment.

With in moments the door opened and the Wookiee had already disarmed Janick. Sash had leaped through the air pinning him to the ground, her knee forcefully pressed against his chest.

“I would love to toy with you and kill you later but my master has a plan for you,”

Jafarda roared as Sash knodded in acknowledgment. The Wookiee grabbed him breaking both of Jannicks arms before placing the handcuffs on him.

“Really to broke his arms I don’t think he is going anywhere.”she laughed

“His angles would have been the better choice”

Roaring in dissatisfaction he said he would have killed him if she didn’t ask him not to. Jafarda had a dark past along with a violent nature. He had told her he wouldn’t stick around after the initial meeting with the professor, he had another contract he was sworn too.

Time passed by quickly as they made they way to the professor. They shared similar stories as they walked, he was intrigued as how she met the professor and the dark path she had chosen. Perhaps one day he would become her apprentice if she mad it that far.

His ship was ahead and the both of them waited until the professor made himself known.

While Sa'ato had been pleased to see the woman was capable of a working partnership, he had not accounted for her bringing the Wookiee before him. Emerging from the loading ramp of his battered, nonchalant Pursuer-Class Assault Ship, the Neti waved a hand over his face, and bade the Force to cloak his features, and much of his person in an unnatural veil of obscuring darkness. "You have done well", the professor applauded in a low tone, looking first to Sasha and then to her furry companion, "And I am grateful for your friend's– timely assistance". The Neti produced a small leather sack from within his coat pocket, and threw it at the Wookiee's feet. A number of credit chips slipped free from the opening and scattered on impact.

"Though I myself have no qualms with inviting you aboard and offering you a place in our organization…", the academic continued, addressing Jafarda specifically, "The Lord Sovereign is admittedly fond of… funneling your kind into labour roles that are most unbecoming of a warrior such as yourself. Please accept this payment as a sign of my gratitude– and respect for your autonomy". Indeed, the Wookiee would fare far better as an agent in the field than endless shifts in the mines and other miseries. Yes, the Dark Lord was not one to offer wages– especially to those humanoids he deemed beneath concern. Having granted this boon and said his peace, the Neti looked back to Sasha, and the mangled Jonas at her feet.

Extending a hand, the professor telekinetically gripped the nape of Gannick's shirt collar, and dragged the wretch into the bowels of his ship with a mere thought. "We leave immediately", the Neti concluded with a flick of the wrist, disappearing back across the threshold content that the woman did not require further invitation. Assuming she followed after, Sasha would find her way to a small lounge adjacent to crew quarters. True to his word, the Neti had just deployed the promised vintage into a wine decanter by the time the adept assassin caught up with him. "One last bit of business, then you may have your revels", the professor softly declared, seating himself in a well-upholstered chair.

"Kneel", the Neti commanded, sweeping a hand before the petite warrior, "I shall now bear witness to your oath of fealty. Swear now, on your name, your life, and your very soul, to serve the Lord Sovereign, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Swear that you shall embrace the Dark Side of the Force with every fiber of your being, and that through its application, you shall advance our Order until your last breath. Swear these things, and I shall bear witness. Swear your loyalty to this cause, and all that I have promised and more shall be yours. Swear, and rise, reborn…"

The Wookiee and Sash shared only the life debt, if it wasn’t for that she would have turned him over to her future master. If he ended up in a mining colony for the sith she cared little. He served his purpose and for future arrangements.

Now that he had been relieved and the two of them were left alone. Sash was given a proposal; one she could not refuse. Placing all her weapons before the dark lord, all arranging on the ground before her. Taking one dagger clasping her had around the blade digging into her flesh until a stream of blood flowed. Taking and oath by mere words was one thing, it was another taking the oath signed in blood. She could have said the words, but speaking the words of such an oath was one thing displaying actions signed in blood was another.

“I take the oath, I am not one to speak my attentions but actions speak louder than words.” Kneeling before her new master, instead of grasping one hand in the blade she took both placing both palms on the ground before him. Without raising her head until he said so. “I give my blood as my oath even in death I’ll serve. Id give a long awaited speech if it you wish. But word shall we say an are for the those who portray themselves greater than they are. My blood is my soul given to the dark lord. If you ask for more I shall give it”

Placing each weapon to the their respective place.
“I should have asked to bring the Wookiee before you, I apologize. He has A life debt to me. Certainly If I had known better I should have killed him as I brought him here. “

Rising to her feet she met her. Masters gaze.”Eventually they will serve or die”

Sa’ato cast an amused smile at Sasha as she returned to her feet, “It is true, you would have done well to tell me in advance—“. He held up a hand, bidding the woman to be at ease, “But in this particular instance, hindsight serves as lesson enough. And you are correct: service and oblivion are the ends of spectrum on which we reside”. The Neti’s grin faded once more, and his countenance grew serious yet again, “On behalf of the Dark Lord, I accept your offering of blood, and your oath of fealty—“.

The Neti paused, and when he spoke again, it was not with his throat but directly from his mind to Sasha, “I recognize that words are not overly necessary in your profession— but you walk a different path now, and you will find old truths no longer hold their meaning—“. While the professor communicated telepathically, his lips continued to move at a different rate. An incantation, the language of which had nearly been lost to time. As the academic spoke, the light didn’t just drain from the room— it evaporated, as if it had never existed to begin with.

What plane the two inhabited now was unclear— but if Sasha could be sure of anything, it was the fact that the duo was no longer alone. “I speak freely, at length, and with intention”, the Neti’s low voice rattled out through the lethal lady’s mind, “Would you accuse me of seeking a greatness beyond myself?”. Countless eyes, like the flame of many ghoulish lanterns, blinked to life all around the ‘room’. Slowly but surely, faces of the dead and damned materialized, followed by bodies whose trappings marked them as Sith from millennia now passed.

“Consider this your first lesson”, the professor continued undaunted, even as the spectral visitors began to saunter closer, gnarled hands outstretched at the teacher and his newest student, “A Sith relies on cunning just as much as brute strength. Words can be an excellent weapon, and a path to power— a path to knowledge, even beyond time”. Exhaling audibly, the Neti clapped his hands together with terrible force, and let his lips fall still.

With the blink of an eye, the otherworldly congress disappeared from whence they came, leaving Sa’ato and Sasha back by their lonesome. The professor at last moved to pour his new hire a proper glass of the vintage red, before raising his own in a concluding toast, “Words and their value ought not be underestimated— you would do well to remember that. But for now, let us drink to the beginning of your journey— I am eager to see where this path of yours will lead…”
