A Majestic class Heavy Cruiser. It seemed like a ship out of another universe, but this one was more than that. It wasn’t finished. It hadn’t even started yet. It was weird then that Zechs was staring out of the viewport of his shuttle at the barren dock where the ship would be birthed. It was easy to admit it was better than staring at a grey wall.
The stars pierced the black. Nebula spotted it. The planet spun. Clouds came into being and then faded away. Space trash shot by. It was definitely better than a wall. A grey one at least. Why they didn’t put more murals on them he’d never understand. If someone was going to have to stare at a wall, why not make it interesting?
The Betrayer glided towards the planet past what would soon hold the new cruiser. A cruiser with a different name from the usual Imperial or Alliance jargon. It was simply called the Galactica.
Zechs was on an important mission. It was top secret. It was the stuff that diaries shuddered at containing. It was going to be a hoot. (He had to look that up to make sure it’d play right in his diary. He didn’t want someone taking a peak and to find out he used it wrong. He couldn’t handle that embarrassment.)
Down the shuttle fell towards the planet. Down to a surface ripe with wild life and civilized souls. Down he went into the pilot’s chair to handle the landing himself. Down his faithful droid powered, having earned its nap. Down the stock prices of some company went because of reasons. Down Zechs went towards adventure.

Re: A Hoot a Dozen
The adventure turned out to be finding a parking place at the Alliance base. Apparently, they preferred to be called in advance to fit in such an Imperial looking shuttle. The Betrayer stood out like a nerf droid in a... herd? Did nerfs travel in herds or schools? He wasn't sure. It really didn't make a difference. The shuttle stood out like a nerf droid in a herd of nerfs. The Alliance was far more known for its YT fetish. Few willingly flew the Alliance shuttle. It just lacked the Lambda's grace.
Zechs locked down the Betrayer and commanded his security droid to keep an eye on things. Some maintenance was probably in order or at least something dusted. Droids be busy. He was half tempted to tell the droid to keep the shuttle ready to go, but this was an Alliance base. The worst that could happen is Zechs was hit by a paperwork storm. The Empire was far away with its own paperwork to deal with.
Down the ramp, Zechs tripped. One foot thudded after the other on his quick way down the ramp as he fought to regain some semblance of a balance. The ground saved him from a face full of starport. He wasn't sure who had picked the brand of offical Alliance officer footwear, but the dress boots left much to be desired in terms of stability on an incline plane. They would soon be "lost," and his well worn in boots would be reinstated to foot duty.
The adventure was on as Zechs offered a random base person a quick salute. There was a cantina just for officers and those they invited. It was the perfect destination on a trip that might have once had a grand purpose but now would be little more than a party of one with potential others joining in. Drinks would be on him, probably not literally.
